This has become my favorite restaurant in all of Charleston. The only reason I found out about this restaurant was because I watched the food truck competition show. Then I decided to look up Braised in the South since they won, and it turns out they had a restaurant in Charleston. I couldn't resist, and I just had to try it out. Boy am I glad I did. Their barbecue is mouth-watering, and one of the, if not the best in the whole low country. The whole ambience of the restaurant is fantastic. You order food in the front, then take it out back to the outdoor picnic area. Everything looks clean and well taken care of. My favorite dishes are their barbecue tacos, their chicken sandwich, and they're loaded tots. Trust me you need their tots. While you wait for your food to be done you can also go to the side of the building in order ice cream. I recommend their birthday cake ice cream dipped in chocolate. Every time as I'm leaving this place I think to myself I can't wait to come back. You need to try this place, trust me.
