Brandanis Pizza

Great pizza! Moved away from Rochester many years ago and we are back for a visit. The pizza tonight was fantastic. The crust was perfect, the sauce had a ton of flavor, and the cheese was high quality. I wish I could get this pizza in Arkansas!

Brandani's is a well established pizza place for Rochester style pizzas. Thick crust, good layer of sauce (not the sweet style), a heavy dose of mozzarella cheese and thick layer of toppings. We ordered a medium pepperoni and a medium artichoke/spinach for three, and could only get through a couple slices each, with most of the leftovers for later. The wings we ordered were crispy and spot on for buffalo style, though the garlic Parm, or other flavors are worth a try too. They also sell ready to eat slices, and made-to-order subs, and other menu items, along with bottled drinks. There's lots of parking in the shared lot, with easy entry/exit off Crittenden road.

It's a good pie. Nice people. Haven't ordered anything but slices over the years. A slice here is worth what they charge. They make odd shaped oval pies, so you can get slices of various sizes and shapes. They usually have at least 4-6 options even at odd hours. At peak, they might have 10-12 options. Drinks are bottled. They sell ice cream in warm months, but I've never had.

Awesome spot. We had a team dinner for our sales group and they were super accommodating. They even helped me change my order to add more pizzas and they were pretty quick!

Always a welcoming environment with a great product. Will continue to return to them. Fair prices. Large portions.

The pizza was unique & tasty but the woman there wasn’t too friendly - it did look like she was by herself so maybe she was just stressed.

Working in the area, I’m always seeking out new places to try. Brandanis is now on the rotation. Their pizza crust is fluffy with no compromise of crunch. Their buffalo chicken pizza has chunks of breaded chicken and just the right kick of spice. Prosciutto and ricotta is my favorite so far. Can’t wait to go back and see what else they have to offer!

I usually don't write reviews unless service is extremely bad or above and beyond expectations. I've been a customer since this place was in it's original location. Service has always been good, the food is always delicious, and the price point is very reasonable. Today I ordered a slice of pizza and the gentlemen who always works in the morning informed me that the slice was not up to par and that he had a new pizza coming out in a few minutes. I said that it was ok, since I didn't really eat the crust anyways. I appreciate his concern and honesty and will continue to eat here. Sometimes small acts of kindness are often overlooked, but I wanted to let him to know that I do appreciate him and his staff even if I don't often write reviews.

This pizza shop is still amazing after over 15 years of going here they still have the best pizza in rochester. Joe is always friendly and his staff is competent and attentive. They haven't changed their slice size even though the whole industry has. All around a great place and a thumbs up

You have the rudest woman working the counter. Not friendly or helpful but have the tip jar right in front. No dine in a disappointment.

I've ordered three different times here so far and each has been a good experience- from friendly customer service to delicious food. This pizza style is more on the doughy side (thicker side) and I don't mind. We've had regular pepperoni , plain cheese, veggie, and chicken wing pizza. Satisfied with all. Nothing fancy- just a great pizza place that has been consistently good. Not overly greasy, not undercooked, not burned. Happy to be a returning customer. For reference- to me, "fancy" is more like peels on wheels. And bad (local) that I won't order (by choice) is Marks.

So today I decided to try something different and let me tell you, I love food, I'm a big girl. This the best damn Pizza I ever had! The crust is amazing. The flavor is incredible. I am a new fan. This is the best pizza in town

Just went there to get slices and everything was excellent. Buff chicken, pepperoni and sausage are fire. Would recommend. Great dough

The absolute best Pizza hands down in Rochester. Dough is thick and cooked perfectly, they always use plenty of sauce and the toppings are generous. Well worth the price too.

The pizza was overpriced, and very dough-y. Chicken wings were small not mushy and the sauce was to hot , I ordered medium hot.

I got a large pizza for takeout, so can't say anything about the restaurant itself. The pizza was ready when it said it would be. It was pretty big and I'm still munching on leftover slices three days later, so don't worry about the size. I felt like the crust was a little dry, but the sauce was flavorful and the cheese was deliciously melty. Sausage and peppers were both good as well. It was a bit on the pricy side for takeout: $25 for a large two-topping pizza, plus a $5 tip and a $2 sales tax left me at $32 for one item. Pizza was great, don't get me wrong, but I'm not sure if it was worth $32. Leaving the review at 5 stars since the food and service were good anyways.

This spot was right next to my Job, and the patients and coworkers kept raving about the food here! So I had to come and try it out, they moved into this adorable spot and this pizza is very delicious. The slices are huge and juicy! I'll definitely be back

I ordered online using a coupon. It was for a large pizza and 18 wings. I was allowed to order two different sauces for the wings. When I got there I was told I could only have one sauce with the deal. I was told they could give them to me plain and the sauces on the side but I would have to pay for the second sauce. I chose one sauce because I didn't believe they would give me enough sauce for 18 wings. When I got home I realized they only gave me 12 wings though I paid for 18. On top of all of that, the pizza and the wings were undercooked. We will no longer be ordering here anymore. If you order from here, I would open everything up before leaving to make sure your order is correct and cooked thoroughly.

Great option to grab some tasty pizza in Henrietta. Been here a few times because of the location to work. Small is 9" cut into 4 slices for $9, perfect for lunch... medium 14" cut in 8 slices for $12.50, perfect for sharing or leftovers. Pizza is really good, fresh ingredients and cooked well. I've always experienced friendly staff and fast service. My go to is extra cheese and pepperoni but once in awhile onions and green peppers hits the spot. Usually pick up an order and take back to work or home. With so many pizza spots in town this place still holds their own.

Tried this pizza spot for the first time tonight. If it were out of 10 I would have rated the pizza a 6.3 so a little above average. They have many toppings so you can really make whatever pizza to your liking. The crust is average not to thin or thick and they put the average amount of all ingredients on it.

Very good pizza!!! The crust was so tasty!! Lots of cheese and all the toppings were delish! The employees were friendly and fun. Would definitely be back! (Don't forget to double check the address. They moved)

Under NO circumstances should you order on line!!! We ordered & paid for the pizza, hubby drove to pick it up and walked into the establishment to see the only employee sitting there. He said, "I'm here to pick up an order" and gave his name. The employee looked at him and said, "No, no order." And argued with him. My husband had to produce the screenshot of the receipt before she would look at the computer. Her only response, "Oh. It'll be 10 minutes." No apology. Nothing. I repeat: do not order online. As for the pizza: it's good. Nothing special, but it was good.

My friend and I ordered a large: half Buffalo chicken, half spinach and artichoke. The pie had a thicker almost bread like crust. I believe a good crust is the soul of pizza and I was not disappointed. I ate the whole slice and didn't leave the base crust behind. The slices were larger than I expected, and I quickly felt full after one slice. The amount of toppings was generous but not excessive. We also got jalapeno poppers, which were just okay: somewhat greasy exterior, and peppers kinda overcooked. The leftover pizza held up pretty well after reheating. I recommend you to use a hot pan, put the slice in, spray some water all over, close with a lid, and turn down the heat to low. Wait for a few minutes until the top feels hot to touch, and it's ready! The person who answered the phone to take our order was polite and friendly. We're told to wait for 40-50 min on a Friday around 4:30 pm. The delivery fee is 2.99.

To be honest I didn't think that I would like this pizza because I love NYC thin-crust or Chicago deep-dish pizza. But when I sank my teeth into the jerk chick slice, I became a fan of the Brandani pizza. The young lady who waited on me at the end of the night was also very pleasant.

Awful service, and long wait. Pizza looked old. Place was small and had no tables. Poor management.

Pizza was great. I liked the sauce. I also enjoyed the crust. I wish they used fresh mushrooms instead of the can mushrooms they used

1-29-2020 went yesterday for lunch and chicken wing pizza is still may favorite. I had one so lice and was definitly full. The pieces are deceptively small. Now have Sunday hours too.

If you're a tattoo artist that works on Ani DiFranco, then you are definitely going to BrandAni. Make sure you do good work, because she's a Righteous Babe. What to get: A slice. What else: Make sure you ask for it to be heated up. The slice here set me back somewhere between 3 and 4 dollars. It was big, thick, doughy, and tasty, so I didn't mind the price. However I can't give it a 5-star rating because: (a) Starlight didn't like it. She gets the final say on ratings. (b) The service was really bad. Like, the kid had disdain for me or something. Or his job. (c) I was kind of rushed even though I was the only person in the place. (d) He didn't specify that if I got it "to go" it wouldn't be heated. The pizza was literally cold and congealed. I had to wait until I got back to Buffalo and heat it up myself. (e) The pizza was really dry. Doughy, crusty, crispy, thick, I don't mind, but it was dry. It was still the closest "4" to a 5-star pizza in town, because it did taste really good, but considering the above problems, I can't possibly give it more than a 4. By the way Walter Pandiani was a soccer player, for Uruguay I think, years ago. If he was making the pizza, I think it would have scored a higher rating. As it is though, it was just a little too "American Bandstandy." If you know what I mean. Which I'm sure you do.

Definitely one of the best pizza places in Rochester! I'm addicted to the Buffalo Chicken Pizza and its a must try!

Oh yes, Brandani's. Tried a slice awhile back, thought it was phenomenal, started ordering a couple sheets twice a month for my team. Well, one fine day, I stopped in for another slice. I watched the employee take it out of the oven, and accidentally dropped it face first onto the floor. I figured he was just gonna heat up a new slice, right? Wrong. He tried serving me that slice, and he laughed when I told him I saw it fall on the floor. He insisted it wasn't dropped. Told him to keep the couple dollars I paid, and haven't been back since.

Went there at the end of December and guess what...the same person was there and we were lucky enough to have another pizza made by her. The pizza was heavy with toppings and cheese, and as delicious as my first. Why are you still sitting there reading this instead of heading to Brandani's and eating pizza??

Pizza after being warmed up came out cold. Also no heat in sitting area ears this a 1* review. I used to enjoy this place, but doesn't look like the owners are involved anymore. I won't be back - too many better spots close by. Oh well... time 2 move on from this pizzaplace.... low quality all around... $8.22 for two slices a 20 oz. Pepsi

I placed a fairly large order. Only one item came as ordered. I expected someone to call if my order could not be fulfilled as ordered. Instead they just made it the way they wanted and delivered my order incorrect. I have owned and operated several businesses. I understand mistakes happen. I called to let them know that my order was incorrect, no one asked what they could do to make it right. That was disappointing. I picked this business due to a high rating and I was very disappointed.

Crust on pizza is great. Had artichoke and spinach slice. I also had chicken with Parmesan slice. Both came under seasoned. Hot sauce did the trick. I missed the old days when Mrs. Brandani came out with her Italian accent.

I love supporting the local business' specialty one that offers such great tasting pizza! They do have a few great options, my fav is the sweet and sour chicken, truth be told I am addicted to it! If you are craving a slice check this place out! At least once.

Not impressed. Ordered to go. Called ahead to place the order and it took at least 45 minutes to make, even thought the place was empty. And the pizza was mediocre at best. Being from Buffalo, I probably have high standards. As prior posts mentioned, it is cold inside. We didn't have a lot of options, as we were staying the night at a hotel near the airport. This place had decent reviews, so we gave it a try. Wouldn't recommend.

The slice is HUGE! I got sweet n sour chicken and it was delicious! Popped in between appointments and they had a huge selection of slices available! Friendly staff, clean location! I got ice cream for my clients!

This is our favorite pizza spot in Rochester! They take good care of us and their order accuracy is phenomenal! And their prices are so reasonable - 100% recommend Brandani's Pizza!

My review is strictly for their breakfast pizza but if their regular pizza is as good as their breakfast pizza I will certainly be back for more and more and more and even more. Finally a place that has the type of crust I like!!!!! I am so excited. After picking up my small big daddy and medium bacon and eggs pizzas I flew home because the smell that was taking over my car was so amazing that I wasn't sure I was even going to make it home to eat the pizza. I got home got some plates opened the box and fell in love. The pizzas were thick but not too thick and every topping was perfectly in place on the pizzas. The pizzas had just the right amount of everything to satisfy your palate and the crust was just amazing. I took a bite and had something to sink my teeth into as well as amazing flavors. I seriously thought I died and went to heaven. There wasn't much talking to be had during that meal because we were so focused on the amazingness of our pizza. We had some left over and they were just as good the next day after being warmed up in the oven. I feel like I can't even properly describe to anyone how amazing this pizza was. I seriously don't think that I have ever had breakfast pizza as good as here. The only downsides - The building is a bit rundown and seems to be a little dirty inside but since I brought my pizza home I didn't care. This place is amazing, I plan to continue to come here and I can't wait to come here again for some more pizza.

Fantastic pizza! Huge slices! Crust is craggie and crisp! Toppings are plentiful and plump! Honestly... You will be pleased! Great for a quick weekday lunch... Huge variety of slices. Other wings and fried snacks available too! They sell icecream and gelato... Never tried it, but looks good. Today's gelato flavors were Banana and Chocolate (wonder if they'd mix those 2 flavors for ya??) I took one star off for comfort. The seats/tables are rickety, think bowling alley snack bar style! I have been goin here for years and will continue to go! They place picnic tables out front in the summer. This is my go-to pizza place in Henrietta. Very good value for the money! Staff seems content. Never overly friendly, however, prompt and courteous, clean and tidy. No bums working here ! Nice to know ;)

Don't let the small unassuming building fool you; the pizza they make inside is very good. Brandani's sells pizza, wings, gelato, and a handful of goodies. They have plenty of different pizza by the slice varieties available in-store. I ordered a small thick crust pepperoni and sausage pizza with extra sauce, and six bbq wings. The pizza was very good; tasty and filling. The crust was quite thick, as you can see in my photo. The bbq sauce on the wings seemed to be of the honey bbq variety, and tastes identical to Wegmans' bbq wings (for a point of reference). The wings were standard size and cooked right. A nice little pizzeria that's worth your patronage. The prices are average to below-average for the area.

I've been a Brandani customer for over 30 years, I've tried other pizza but I keep coming back. In addition, great customer service, and their Italian ices, my favorite is lemon, make it an even better choice!

I had a lovely time here. Great portion sizes, fresh colourful ingredients and great value for money. I especially loved the chocolate gelato.

By far the best pizza in town. The pizza crust is amazing. The only thing that trumps the pizza, is the meatball Calzone. The pizza and calzone maker, made our meal with love. And you can taste the difference.

Good pizza very reasonably priced! The staff is friendly as well. I have tried the buffalo chicken pizza and the pep and sausage both were very good. There are many other choices to pick from but I have not tried them.... yet. There are tables inside and out to enjoy your selection and a ice cream place next door for dessert. Enjoy!

For whatever reason, I really took a liking to this place. Salvatore's never did it for me, and Mark's was just too heavy. Brandani's has the perfect balance. What really brought me here in the first place was the fact that they sell italian ice. Outside of NYC, few pizza places carry ices and that is what puts Brandani's at the top of my list.

Love this spot - grew up getting pizza and drinks here and always have a good experience. Highly recommend the gelato as well.

I wanted to love this joint, and I ended up liking it. Was in the mood for an old fashioned owner operated Mom n Pop, and that it was! You don't go for the decor, you go because the folks making the Pizza care, and have their life wrapped up in these four walls. I ordered soem slices and they were A-OK, nice crust, a little more mild on the sauce then i expected, but alot of food for the money!

I stopped by Brandani's last week and tried two slices. I know everyone has different styles and preferences when it comes to pizza. Brandani's pizza seemed very doughy and lacked flavor with the sauce. Overall the price point wasn't bad, if I go back at all I'd want to try a full fresh pizza.

Slices are fucking enormous. Get the buffalo chicken slice and you will not be disappointed. Everything else is decent but not superb.

Have been a customer of brandanis for over 20 years. Have always loved their food and have gotten take out/delivery many, many times although we are a bit out of their delivery area. For the first time in 20 years, they refused to deliver to us because we didn't order enough $$. Very, very disappointing for a place that we've been loyal to for year

Very friendly staff and great selection of pizza toppings. I sometimes feel they're a bit pricey, but I live with it because I trust that the quality of food will always be good. Second only to Great Northern Pizza. Their wings, however, are not worth buying.
