Brandi's World Famous Hot Dogs

Been coming here for a few years, we love Brandi’s chili dogs! The dogs are tasty, the chili is hot, fresh, and most of all SPICY! I love the heat but it’s probably not for everyone. There’s no mild option, you’re gonna get lit up with this stuff. I suggest going with a chili slaw dawg to cool things down a bit. Tried the chili cheese fries this last go round, not really my thing. Kind of turns into a soggy greasy mess. Service is always quick, kind, and efficient. Cash only, not a big deal but something to remember. Parking can suck if they are busy (which they frequently are).

Went here for a company team building outing. Haven't ever really been a hotdog lover but these dogs look really good and fresh. Easy parking and very quick from entry to eating. Many times I have driven by to see line out the door indicating people like the food. Chilli has some spice to it so be prepared if you add Chilli to your hot dog or fries.

This place is like a time capsule, and I mean that in the very best way. It’s a simple menu, and it’s just so good. The chili on the hotdog is a little spicy, so if you’re sensitive to spice just a heads up. The slaw dog was my favorite, it was just a perfect balance of sweet and salty. Speaking of sweet, their iced tea is also great! Cash only!

It is so small it gives you that nostalgic feeling from when it first opened! This place had been here since my mom was a kid but I had only heard rumors of how amazing their hotdogs were and never went. Well I can tell you I've been missing out my whole life! Great prices and even better food. But shhhhh keep it a local secret 🙊

If I could give 000 stars I would. My partner and I ate there this past Tuesday 7/9/24 for the first time. The place was jammed packed, ac barely working. Waited only about 15 minutes, which isn’t that bad for two hotdogs and one side of fries. I KID YOU NOT, there was FOUR TOOTHPICKS LYING INSIDE ONE OF OUR HOTDOG BUNS!! The food lacked flavor and was barely warm (mind you we only waited about 15mins). Today is Friday and we are both bed bound with food poisoning! Never again

If you dont get the hot dog with chilli and slaw you’ll be missing out! Best hotdogs in Marietta hands down - always crowded during lunch so be there by 11:30 or noon! Its amazing and the staff are incredible! Also its cash only FYI

Historic little hole in the wall. Great spicy hot dogs. Tight limited parking area, and small seating area inside but worth it if you enjoy the spicy chili slaw dogs. Skip the fries.

I can't say enough good stuff about this place. From the outside, it is small and not much to look at, but it is big on everything else. The food is amazing. We had burgers, slawdogs, fries, onion rings, and chili cheese fries between the four of us. All of it was amazing. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was top-notch, and we will definitely be back. Lastly, I got a tee shirt.

Cool little diner spot right next to the railroad tracks. They only accept cash, which is fine because I don't want to deal with credit cards anyways. Staff is always friendly and attentive. The chili on the hot dogs is spicy hot. A little too spicy for me--think fresh jalapeño seeds type of hot. I haven't tried the burgers, but I am willing to try them the next time I go to this little spot. Hours are limited to lunch time and weekdays. 1:30 PM tends to be busiest. I love the ice in the drinks--like chick fil a shaved ice. Food is good, but chili a little too spicy for me, I think I'll see if I can get hot dog without chili next time.

A must try. My coworker wanted to go here for his birthday lunch. Cash only. Fast friendly service.

I finally tried this place after seeing it on TikTok. It was so good. I got two chili dogs with mustard, chili and onions, fries, hot apple pie and a sweet tea all for only $12. That's a steal and a half!!! The chili dogs were fantastic but man is that chili hot. When they say it's hot & spicy they are not joking. It made my lips numb for a while. If you don't like spicy don't try it. But I do. The hot apple pie was so crispy and good on the inside. Like old school pies from McDonalds. The service was great and fast. My issue is the parking is small and so is the restaurant. Standing room only. Just be prepared to stand elbow to elbow and good luck with the parking. Other than that I highly recommend it. The crowd and parking so tell you how good it is.

Best hot dogs very spicy so be prepared. Do slaw to calm them down. Fried pies are a nice add on. Fries and rings a nice side. Food is always hot and fresh. Cash only!

I finished my meal with a hot fried apple pie and it was exactly what I needed to put a cherry on top of this experience. NO BEEF HOTDOG OPTIONS(4 stars). If you're ordering to-go call ahead. I sacrificed my no pork diet for this, so again... it's worth it.

I've seen Brandi's for years but never at the right time, so passing by around 11:30 a.m., I saw people inside & whipped in on a whim. The ladies at the counter were friendly & could see I was a newbie. I asked about the chili dog & they said it's famous, but warned it is pretty spicy. I chickened out & just got a slaw dog, onion rings & a (very) large iced tea - it was all "thumbs up." They gave me a chili sample to try - it was good but was as spicy as they warned. It's not very close to me, but hope I can make it in again before long. (Oh, and cash only, as others have said - it helps keep the prices low.)

When traveling, I love going to places like this. These prices would be low in 2019 and are even crazier in 2023. They aren't joking when they say the chili is spicy. I got the hot dog three different ways and suggest getting a slaw dog with cheese to help cook the heat of the chili. Great service and only two women were cooking and serving the entire restaurant. Can't recommend this place enough!

The moment you walk in this place you know it's special. They treat you very well service was fast with a smileand the food was just great. Come in and sit at the bar and watch them sling these dogs. Definitely putting this on my lunch list. Chili Dog was great very family friendly atmosphere.

Brandi is a wonderful person and she and the team make a great chili slaw dog! You can't beat the fried peach pie either! Weird thought but they also have the best crunchy ice for the great sweet tea! This is the place to bring kids to get them an experience they, and you, will never forget! BRING CASH!

A great place to eat & great people. My husband eats there every chance he gets. He has always loved the food & the people. One day about 3-4 months ago he was there & accidentally left his wallet. Later that afternoon, Brandi shows up at our house with his wallet. You could have knocked me over with a feather I was so surprised. In today's time, we need more people like Brandi in the world.

We make a point of coming here a couple of times each summer break. We always find a friendly face at the bar to share a few tales over some spicy chili dogs and fries! Yummy!

First time going and I was impressed with the reviews so I decided to try it. It's totally a hidden gem that's unhidden. The atmosphere is very personable which gives you a sense of complete family for all who enter. Service is amazing. I ordered chili dogs, onion rings, sweet tea and a fried apple pie. Everything was delicious and superb. It is very busy throughout the day so just make sure you plan with some time to spare and cash on hand. I haven't had a dog that good since my childhood days. It was worth every moment.

Tried going here twice. Once on a Monday at 2:30 but they where closed even though they say they are open till 3pm. Next time I tried them was a Tuesday at 1:30pm bit could not get in since the place was super busy without room for another soul. But even if they had room, they are a cash only business. Who in this day in age does not accept credit cards? Twice I drove 45 minutes and both times could not have lunch. Will not try a third time. Such a disappointment!

The hotdog was excellent. Good old, fashion, diner, hot dog. I got a hotdog with everything which included chili, onions, mustard, coleslaw also on the side crinkle french fries. A 32 ounce unsweet tea, wow. Pricing was good. Service was excellent. Ladies were super nice. warning lunchtime is packed. Next time I'm trying a burger with a small drink.

It's a small place but worth stopping in and getting a great hotdog. Only opened till 3pm and crowded at lunch it's worth the effort. Good selection of dogs, top quality and always delicious.

Yum! The hot dogs are so tender and delicious, the chili is spicy, and the perfect topping on these hot dogs. My son enjoyed the plain hot dog, and asked for another one. Hubby got chili dogs with slaw, and said the slaw was sweet. The fried apple pie was so good too! Will definitely be a new regular.

Eat here .... You will be glad you did. It's the best damn chili slaw dog you will ever eat. I've heard tale that these very hot dogs are actually served in heaven ... and if you don't make it up there, we'll .. I hear that they place a plate of these just inches away from you to promote your eternal torture. Joking aside ... it's really the best hotdog I've ever eaten.

Food is great. But then I get the chili slaw dog all the way. Every time I go. I have had the fries and they are good. Mostly get them when eating there, so they are hot and crispy.

Come one folks. It's 2021. Can we finally take a form of payment other than cash? It takes 10 minutes to go to the ATM at the gas station.

Why did I only have one day in the Atlanta area, oh I know the traffic. Thankfully my GPS directed me to Brandi's World Famous Hot Dogs, I circled the block a couple of times before I was able to snag the last spot on the the lot once inside I realized I was in dive heaven. This is the kind of place where you can very quickly become a regular and have Brandi recite your order for you as you sit down. Newcomers like me were warmly welcomed by Brandi; as well as regulars seated at the counter, this place oozes Southern Hospitality; as I found myself talking and laughing with new found friends. The hot dogs with chili, slaw. mustard and onions were spectacular, I definitely appreciated the kick that tickled my taste buds. Fried peach pie, need I say more and delicious sweet tea. If you are ever in Atlanta, brave the traffic and visit Brandi in Marietta, your life and tastebuds will be changed for ever.

I'm not a big fan of hotdogs but I thought I'd try their spicy chili dog, it was not bad. Not as spicy as I was warned, and the red dye to color the dog in my opinion is overdone. Hotdogs don't need to be bright red, but that's just me. The place was packed during lunch time, mostly with regulars who all seem to know the staff by name. This is a very small tight location, so if you're even just a bit claustrophobic, you won't be happy! As to the hotdog, it may be a while before I go back, not because it didn't taste good, just because I'm not yet that desperate for a cheap lunch. I'll take a peanut butter and jelly sandwich any day over a hotdog, still.

Love this place. It is my go to for hot dogs. Love both restaurants. If you like a little spice get the hot chili on your dog!

Classic and best dog in Atlanta by far...There's no replacement for Pete's Famous Hotdogs growing up in Birmingham, but this was a treasure to find in Atlanta!

I love chili dogs and Georgia does not have enough of it. These hot dogs are simple (wiener, and chili). Perfect. Plus the price is reasonable $2.20.

Wow!! I first tried this spot years ago when I lived in KENNESAW. I've since moved south of Atlanta and have made several road trips just for lunch. I recommend the slaw dogs and onion rings.

Every time I go to Kennesaw I have to go to Brandi's. I always get the spicy chili cheese dog extra wet and the spicy chili cheese with coleslaw extra wet. The tea is great. It is always a wait but it is well worth it. I recommend this place any day.

Excellent service and food! I had a chili dog with the chili and slaw on the side. They warn you the chili has a kick, but it sure is tasty! Get the fries and onion split order to sample them both. I hope to get the chance to come back soon! This is a cash only place so hit the ATM before hand. The parking is a little tight, but I didn't see anyone have any issues even with large trucks. You won't regret having lunch here!

Brandi's is a go to place whenever the family is in the area. We LOVE the spicy hot dogs and fresh out of the fryer Fwench Fries. Parking is a bit tight and people need to realize to be courteous to others when arriving and leaving to park as close as you can so others can enjoy these wonderful treats.

My dad took me here when I was 5 back in 2000, and we still go there at least once a month to this day! Top notch, FAST service for some food that warms your soul. Killer hot dogs and fries. Food is on point 9/10 times and when it isn't on point.. we'll.. it still kinda is.

Brandi's Famous Hot Dogs is located on Church Street Extension NW off of Highway 5 in Marietta. It's a local institution. It use to be Betty's and when Ms. Brandi took it over...well it became Brandi's. This is a kind of place that you imagine Andy Griffith and Barney Fife would be hang out in. People here are super friendly from the construction worker to the guy wearing a suit and tie....everyone just sorta just talk to each other...the way we use to do it before texting came along. Luck would have it we got owner Brandi as our server who is the queen of multitasking. She can take your order, cash out an order, tell someone your order be ready soon and then place an order all before I can finish up one onion ring! When I came with a friend we thought we had come "early" being that it was about 11 AM. Turned out we had come "late". There were already 3 cars in the turn lane on Church St. just waiting to get into the place. At 11 AM the place was already packed with at least two dozen people in various stages of ordering, waiting, eating, looking and wanting to eat more. The menu is pretty straight forward. It's a old fashioned hot dog joint with nothing foo-foo going on here. Sorry but no Kimchi or curry peanut butter here....the most expensive item is a hamburger which is $2.45. I got their 2 slaw dogs, onion rings and a coke. (Miss Brandi was kind enough to give me a small up of their chilli to try....it was super good-had a kick to it.) The slaw was as good as they get. Not too sweet. You can tell it was made fresh and from scratch....the hot dog was just right. Tender, juicy and comforting....for about $7.00 I had just had one of the best lunches ever! I'm rarely out this way but have been meaning to stop by here for a while. Has a cool vibe as you walk in and seems to be running quite smoothly in terms of getting your order quick, hot, and right. Most of the ingredients are prepped already so that keeps it efficient. The dogs were the standard variety, boiled with a red casing. The chili had a great flavor to it and combined with slaw made for a perfect dog. I had a couple of those and the onion rings. Those were good as well. The peach pie, I'm not sure if made in house or not, was quite good and a nice dessert after the dogs. Brandi was nice and was taking care of everyone without being pushy or rushing them. Hope to visit again.

I love this place. Great food and friendly people. I love their chili dogs. Their slaw dogs are pretty good too (and come with chili on them). Their chili is actually spicy (hot) too. Not like most restaurant chains that put very mild chili on their dogs. The restaurant and its parking lot are not too big and can stay busy. If you go during the lunch rush you may have to wait for a spot to park and wait to sit down inside. Service is quick though and I find if there is a wait, it is a short one.

CASH ESTABLISHMENT!!! The restaurant was super casual! We arrived on a Friday afternoon around 1:00pm and it was slammed! There was no place to sit. They waitress took our order right away. We waited about 10 minutes for our food and we were able to find a place at the bar by the time our food came. My Bf and I ordered two chili slaw dawgs, cheeseburger, onion rings, fries and two sweet teas! We loved it! Please note the hot dog is fluorescent pink! The hot dogs were the right amount of spicy. All the flavors blended together perfectly. The onion rings were thick cut! The fries were Crinkle style (which aren't my favorite)! Sweet tea was not overwhelming sweet. Definitely would repeat!

My wife and I were worried Brandi's would never re-open. Then we had heard Brandi's was open again. Reviews indicated Brandi's was open last week and my wife drove by a week or so ago and they were open. We wanted to support a local business and we hope everything is ok. But, we went to Brandi's at about 12:10 pm on Tuesday June 30 and they were closed. The GMB listing and Yelp said they were open from 11-3 today. They were not. No cars in the parking lot and only a closed sign in the window. I've been once and loved the food. I was excited to take my wife to try the awesome hot dogs. All the 5-star reviews are dead-on but communication on social media is non-existent. I hope Brandi's hasn't closed permanently. Please adjust your hours of operation on Yelp, Google and Facebook so we know when you are open. I'd really love a couple of chili slaw dogs someday soon!

A must visit when in Marietta, Ga! Best chili dogs around, great chili burgers as well!
