Conveniently located next to a large supermarket, my parents always brought the family here after a shopping trip. However, this review focuses on my most recent visit, as my previous visits have been from years ago. Upon walking in, you can tell that the restaurant is rather well kept and clean, there are rows of booths along the side, and tables across the back. We were immediately told to sit anywhere and were brought menus.
As for the food, we always order a self-serve spring roll dish; the ingredients, including your choices of meat, lettuce, pickled carrots, mint, etc., are given to you on a plate, with the spring roll wraps on the side. You take the ingredients and wrap the spring roll yourself. This is by far favorite item on the menu, which costs about $12.95. If you need extra wraps, they will give them to you at no charge! In addition, I usually get their pho dac biet or bun bo hue, which isn't spicy at all. In comparison to other pho shops in the same plaza, I would say this restaurant's lacks a strong broth, but they give you a decently sized portion.
My biggest concern is with the service. We had a lot of trouble getting the attention of a waiter, while a worker just sat at the front counter and wasn't of much assistance. Occasionally, our waiter wasn't able to understand our requests, and we had to wait for another worker to assist us. Overall, this restaurant is dependable, but there are cheaper and better options for Vietnamese cuisine extremely nearby.
