Brasa's Brazilian Steakhouse

I had a mini wedding and we decided to have an intimate dinner here. We were 10 people in total and the service was the best I've ever experienced. Our guests were raving about the place and I am so incredibly happy to have chosen this place to make our wedding memories one I'll never forget. The food, service and ambiance is top tier and I would recommend only this place if you're looking for a romantic Brazilian steakhouse. Thank you Brasas for making my wedding memorable.

Very elegant place and they take really good care of you. It was a quiet in there. So this would be a very good place for a date where you want excellent service and care from the waitstaff. Food was good too. I would say come hungry. We parked down from the restaurant since they had construction going on right by it. There is a building on the right that has parking that we went to-can’t recall building name but you will exit there lobby that is manned. They will let you in by pressing the button outside.

Okay so we were going to another Brazilian steak house we usually go to, but they were full so we found a reservation at this one for Valentine’s Day. We get there, and there is no parking, so you gotta pay $17 for valet to start. Then you go in and you wait forever to be seated, once you’re seated, it takes forever to bring the cheese bread out. The salad bar has almost no options compared to other Brazilian steak houses, the salad bar looks like a hotel breakfast bar, two types of cheese (mozarilla and guda), chicken salad, mushroom, tomato, and some other simple stuff. Then once you flip your card to be ready to be receive the meat, it takes forever to bring the meat to serve you, and in between each around of meat like 10-15 minutes for two bites. And no it is not because they were busy for valentines it was not busy at all at the time we went. Plus for two people with only two vodka drinks $182 for terrible service, food that taste disgusting, and empty salad bar. If want to try a Brazilian steak house try chama gaúcha or even fogo de chão is better . Believe me my wife is Brazilian and we go to Brazilian places all the time. If you check my reviews history I never leave a review unless it’s a horrible experience, and last time I left a review was years ago. Hope this help people who never been here

Service and atmosphere were great. Food very mediocre, we were the only ones there for dinner yet the salad bar was completely picked over (lunch leftovers?) Meat was fatty and chewy for the most part, sad to say the chicken was the best part at a Brazilian steak house. Was looking forward to this experience, unfortunately quite disappointing.

Meat was delicious especially the parm chicken and the sausage. The sides needed life support and considering the prices at the restaurant I felt like the sides deserved more effort. As in homemade and not from a box. The desserts were the same. 3 options: cheesecake and mousse cake. Both came from a Sysco truck (told to me by the waiter) SMH

The service was excellent and they definitely aired to please. This is my favorite style of dining and I have been to many different Brazilian steakhouses over the years and this one is just as good as the rest. The service however was even better. We were visiting for my birthday and they went above and beyond that gave us a free desert and customize the plate as you can see in the photo. The meet was excellent and I am a meat connoisseur or you may call me a meatatarian LOL thank you

This was my first experience with Brazilian food and it was amazing! The food was excellent, the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. It was fairly quiet so we were easily able to have a conversation at a normal volume.

First of all, we didn’t have a server for starts. The salad bar was very skimpy, very little to choose from. I went to get mashed potatoes and they were out both times, not keeping it stocked up. The meat attendants kept passing us up and we were just sitting there. Finally I had to get the managers attention to get us certain things that we needed, service was HORRIBLE !!!!!We will not be going back!!!!!

Amazing Brazilian steakhouse in downtown Houston! I brought my parents here when they visited me for the first time after I moved to Houston. It's also a good go-to date spot if you're trying to impress :) Dimly lit atmosphere that feels so fancy! The food is delicious and just keeps coming. Beautiful salad bar but with delicious candied bacon. Do your best not to fill up on that even though it's so hard not to. The service is incredible and they even brought us out a dessert that wasn't on the menu (Papaya cream) but most Brazilian steakhouses have!

For lunch I was amazed at the table service. These guys were on point and checked in you every 2-3 minutes. Fantastic service. One of the best I've seen at a Brazilian Gaucho. The meats are plentiful and it comes out fast, hot, and tasty. Ribeye 10/10- awesome and tender. Picanha 9.5/10- really good and they give you a lot Pork ribs 9.3/10- very tasty. I was surprised at how good it was. Shrimp 8.5/10- good but a little salty Chicken breast 9.5/10- very moist chicken wrapped in bacon. I loved it Wings- 9/10- these were very tasty but no match for the steaks The place is beautiful. See the pics. Very comfortable. Dark like all other gauchos I've seen around the nation. May be the best I've tried, and I've been to many. Would love to try the dinner one day. For the price worth every penny for the tastes and first class service.

If you are going to charge more than Fogo, you need to actually be better than Fogo. Salad bar was terrible, meat cheap and fatty. Attention to detail and true quality matters. The only good thing about this place was that the waitstaff tried really hard. Drinks were overpriced. No valet either. "Besides that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?"

Went on a slow night but still had a great experience! Friendly staff and great food!

I visited Brass's with a group of 20 to celebrate a graduation. They took care of the whole party amazingly! The entire group had a great time. Be advised that street parking is the closest.

Brazilian steak, my favorite is the lamb chop and picaña! Very relaxed ambiance and excellent service.

Yikes. Some of the most recent reviews were brutal. We came here on a Friday evening and had a really pleasant experience. The restaurant wasn't busy, but the servers were super attentive. At times, it almost felt like too much attention because multiple staff members were checking in on us constantly. Food was delicious from the salad bar to the sides and then the meat. I will say that there weren't very many different meat selections. But I can understand them not wanting to fire up a bunch of stuff if there's not a lot of customers to serve. Ambiance was nice and upscale. Definitely a pricier place that's suitable for special occasions or a splurge.

This was a mediocre Brazilian steakhouse. Like other reviews mentioned, the entry does have a bit of a sewer backup smell. Went on a Saturday night, it was not busy but had still made reservations through OpenTable. Seated immediately, no issues. Server seemed to have a problem understanding a pineapple allergy within the party for the sangria order. Salad bar selection was OK - I've seen better selection at lunch time at better places like Fogo or Texas de Brazil. Meat was good, no issues with quality, but the selection wasn't great. For a downtown steakhouse where dinner and drinks for two ended up at about $200, I expected better.

Great addition to downtown Houston! If you're a meat eater, THIS. IS. YOUR. PLACE!!! The Meats, meats, and the meats. It's like a gigantic roller coaster of meats and shrimp. You want rare, medium, or well done, they've got it. New Zealand Lamb, shrimp, bacon wrapped chicken, bacon wrapped filet, Parmesan pork loin, top sirloin, bottom sirloin, filet- HEAVENLY, ribeye (HEAVENLY PART 2), garlic beef, beef ribs, salmon, pork sausage, and chicken wings. Potatoes, rice, and the salad bar also come with the meal. All meat is PRIME and holy smokes, you can tell! Parking: don't be worried! There's valet ($8 or $10) Want to do a private party: there's two rooms upstairs! I HIGHLY recommend this place, date night, gurus night, guys night. It's really, really good!!!!! Pricing: lunch $36.50/pp dinner- about $50/pp Waiters: Ask for Julio and Carlos! They'll set you up!

Customer service was top notch. Food portion was hefty. Food taste was decent, could've been seasoned better. Tasted surprisingly bland. Drinks were amazing, and cost was affordable.

Come hungry. The salad bar is amazing, could be a meal alone. Don't fill up on the initial meat they serve. The better cuts come later

My husband and I went Saturday night to celebrate my birthday. This was not our first time there. We would not recommend this place. They were very slow bringing out the meat. I had an empty glass most of the night. I didn't have silverware for more than 15 minutes because noone came to check on us. We asked for platanos and bread 3 different times and still didn't receive any. The salad bar "hot items" were cold in the middle. Don't expect good service here.

What a terrible experience. Went on a Saturday night and we should have known that it was going to be bad when there were only two other people in the restaurant. The meat tasted old and overcooked. We asked if there was filet? No. Any leg of lamb? No. Chicken wings? No. Salmon? No. Pork ribs? No. Had to beg for them to bring the beef rib which was tough and over cooked.The cheese on the salad bar was probably from three nights before. Been to Texas de Brazil, Chama Gaucha and Fogat de Chau. All three were better. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

I would give 4 stars because I felt the meat options were limited BUT we can late & last minute so I'm sure that has more to do with our timing than the actual restaurant. Plus, there was a lady who I can assume was in charge in some sense who seemed to be going out of her way to accommodate us. No complaints here at all, would definitely recommend & will be visiting again. Love the atmosphere, great decor, clean & spacious. Everything that I ate was amazing & I thoroughly enjoyed my time.

The staff is wonderful. My husband and I celebrated a little here and I loved the food. The other reviews about this place are spot on so the amount of meats they bring by are a bit less than you'd expect but they're still great nonetheless. I recommend the picanha as it was my fave. Go here

I am a meat lover and a strong believer of you cant go wrong with steakhouses. Hence the second star. However, other than that unfortunately I was not satisfied with the whole experience. First of all, it is in downtown so good luck finding a parking space and expect to pay for it. I happened to have a sprained ankle too so I had to walk for 10 min (5min for a healthy person). Next, even though we were there for lunch and their site said $39.99, we were hit with $49.99 for the full menu. I just checked it again and no where it mentions about $50/person, or that $39 version is limited . If you choose limited option you can buy it cheaper but I was not there to eat 4-5 type of meat where at least 2-3 of them were cheap stuff like chicken and pork. Having said that if you are paying all that you might as well go to Fogo de Chao or similar higher quality places (with parking!) Anyways, moving on, we still ended up getting full menu and let me tell you we were still not impressed. For example, you either love lamb chops or hate it. I am in the lover category but their lamb chop was not even mediocre. I dont know how you can mess that up. Service is good. However nothing about this place felt authentic Brazilian steakhouse, more felt like I was in a Mexican restaurant. I love Mexican food dont get me wrong but I was there for a Brazilian Churrascaria! Salad bar was decent. Again not what I came for.

If I could give one star, I would. ‼STAY AWAY‼ the staff is stealing money. They are purposely skimming cash off top and over charging cards! The managers are in on it too! We had to call the police. We got our money back but it's ridiculous to have your night ruined with horrible costumer service and thieves. They try to use a language barrier as an excuse but when the cops got there, they were able to understand and articulate perfectly. Just safe yourself the stress and go somewhere else.

We had a reservation but did not need it. The food was underwhelming to say the least. The beef was under seasoned and seemed left over fired for that day. It was tough and just overcooked. The things we usually would not eat at a Brazilian steakhouse were the best looking and tasted the best, chicken and shrimp. The sausage needed to render more but you could tell there was nothing special about it. The place is beautiful, the location is great but there are much better options. The staff was nice but a bit clumsy and not refined as you would expect at a niche restaurant. I would not go back, but wish them well. The salad bar was good but could use a much larger selection of vegetables and marinated vegetables, peppers etc.

Came here for Christmas Eve dinner and was disappointed. For the price, I expected something comparable to Fogo De Chao and/or Chama Gaucha. That was not the case. The quality in meat was low. Normally, I would be able to tell nor would I mind, but the meat was really chewy and tough. I had to douse my dinner in the chimicurri. Service (specifically our waiter) was terrible. He disappeared numerous times when we needed to ask for the bill and needed more drinks. We wanted to order dessert after our dinner but waiting more than ten minutes after flagging our waiter down made us want to leave quicker. We probably could have walked out and no one would have noticed. Then even when he brought the bill to us, he said no words. It has tons of potential. Especially in the area but we will not be going back.

Carlos our server was more than accommodating during our dinner at this new spot in Downtown! The fresh side dishes that were brought out and constant supply of meat that came were cooked to perfection and seared just right. The mouthwatering flavor that was delivered on each dish paired with a chilled sweet glass of peach Prosecco was spectacular! I for sure enjoyed the desserts that were provided everything came out fresh, hot and fast.

We went on a Saturday evening, yet the restaurant was understaffed. After waiting 5 minutes in the bar area to be served, I had to walk to the hostess stand to see if they even had a bartender working there! Not necessarily the bartenders fault however, because they also had him doing other things that made him unable to serve, or even notice me there. Salad bar was fresh, but smaller and less variety than most churrascarias The meat was good, but they didn't come by to serve often ... The staff was nice however, and they did try..just not enough of them to provide great service.

1 year ago, I left a 5 star review on Google after my me and my wife's second amazing experience at Brasas. Due to these great experiences, I invited 12 of my friends to join us for New Year's Eve there. I should not have... I really hope this terrible visit was simply an outlier because I don't want to ruin such a special place to my wife and me. However, it may have. I won't get into the gritty details unless someone wants to reach out to me, but it was a very bad experience for us 14 guests. I even tried to address it with a cool head with the manager, and we got into an argument... Disappointed to say the least.

I was looking for a nice restaurant to get together with friends where we could get a good meal. The restaurant is located around the corner from the hotel I stayed at which was great. The ambiance is great and the staff was nice and attentive. They had a decent salad bar and strong drinks lol. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could. My only gripe was the noise level a few times it was hard to hold a conversation because of the drill (repairs in the restaurant) and there was a little annoying fly by our table.

Celebrated Hubby's birthday and it was the best. Service was top-notch. They really make sure you get your meats the way you wanted. Our lemonades kept getting refilled without us even asking. All the meats were delicious! I really liked the pork ribs and rib eye steak. Hubby loved the leg of lamb. For sides you also get black beans, rice, and mashed potatoes. Also, the salad bar was very tasty!! They had a lot of options to choose from. For dessert we had the cheesecake and it was yummy. I would definitely recommend the place for date night or celebration.

We stumbled across this restaurant walking in downtown trying to find an open restaurant. We understood that most places were closed due to Covid, but we are so glad we found this place!! The meats were incredible. Full flavor & the service was top notch. Our Tito's martinis were perfect as well! They carefully followed CDC protocol and were incredibly attentive, but at a distance. I can't wait to go back! Give 'em a try!

They advertise that they open at 11:30. Got there at 11:40. Smelled like garbage as we walked in the door but that dissipated as we approached the hostess station. No hostess. Waited a few minutes and then flagged down a waiter who said it would be another 15 - 20 minutes before they'd be ready to serve. His attitude was negative as if he'd hope we'd just leave. I asked if they opened at 11:30 and he said yeah but we're not ready. We went somewhere else to eat. Suggest you do the same.

Best Brazilian bbq I've ever had I'd say better than Fogo de chao. Service was good and quick to respond but could be due to the fact the place was empty on account of covid. Either way great experience would like to come back sometime.

Not the best Brazilian steakhouse I've ever been to. The salad bar was underwhelming. The cheese had been sitting out a while it looked like. It took a long time for any sort of beef to come to us after we were done with our salads. They gave us a lot of very rare meat that we wasted because they didn't tell us the meat was so rare before hand. The meat was good when cooked the way we asked. Service was decent.

My husband and I had our anniversary dinner this weekend there and what can I say, the food was delicious and the service was amazing. It really made our evening special.

I Came here for Valentine's Day and it was truly amazing! The salad bar had so many delicious options. The meats were to die for. Overall I great time and I'll def be coming back to Brasa's!

Great dining experience at this hot new Brailzan steakhouse downtown Houston. My favorite items are Lamp chops, Ribeye, Bacon Wrap Fillet, Grilled Shrimp, Grilled Shrimp

Our experience fell short of what I had expected from a highly reviewed Brazilian steakhouse. And we frequent a lot of them: different locations of Fogo, Chama and Gauchos do sul. This was a first that I didn't leave the place overwhelmingly stuffed. We came on a Thursday night so it was not busy at all. The salad bar was modest with a selection of salads, 5-6 types of cheese, bacon, salmon, bruschetta and greens. They were not labeled so it was hard to tell what was what. As for the main course, we were only served the following: sausage, ribeye, bacon-wrapped chicken, house sirloin, filet, lamb chops and grilled shrimp. It was definitely not "over 15 cuts of meat etc" as advertised unless if they're counting the salad bar deli I suppose. We kept our cards up for most of the night but the food came far and in between: some in our party were still eating and hungry when they brought out the dessert. I had to ask for steaks to be brought around at least 6 times til we finally got full from waiting. Overall a poor experience and we won't be coming back. Servers were very pleasant though hence the 2 stars.

Horrible steakhouse. I do not recommend. Staff is extremely unprofessional. I did not get to eat there because of the reception attitude. They also want you to wear a mask for a second from the door to the table like that prevents anything. Will never be back I will just take my business elsewhere.

Booked a 2:45pm Saturday reservation with open table. Walk-in at 2:40pm to the manager coming out of the bar with zero greeting and a we close at 3pm. When asked why they accept the reservation he said he doesn't control it. I call Bs as a person that spent 25 years in the restaurant business they absolutely control when reservations are available. So disappointed I canceled Texas de Brazil to be treated as disposable. Appear Ku they are independently wealthy and do not appreciate or need guest to pay their bills. Just Horrific!!!

The best Brazilian steak house in Houston. They have an awesome staff and phenomenal customer service! It's our favorite!

This place was pretty tasty. We went on a Tuesday and the only people there. It's a fairly new spot but the food is soo good. I liked the meat better then the sides. The sides need a little improvement.

Fancy and Nice set up... perfect customer service would go again and again salad bar had everything you could think of and all the meats you could think of being brought to you makes you feel like royalty in a way lol 5/5 Stars For Sure !

Almost a perfect experience. Food was great. Service was pretty good. We only hit a few snags that made the experience less than perfect. We noticed other tables getting some little portions of sauces for their meat, but we never received any. After we were about half-way through our meal, we decided to ask and the server apologized and said they forgot to bring us those. So they brought some out and we enjoyed them for the second half of our meal. We were also interested in some dessert or something a bit sweet. At most of the other Brazilian Steakhouses they will have some fried bananas to satisfy that craving, but they didn't serve any here. That's ok. We asked about desserts. The server started listing off the desserts they had, but it was a bit hard to hear with masks on and the small language barrier. So, I just asked if they had the desserts on a menu, but he replied they did not. So I guess the only option was for him to keep repeating them to us. We ultimately decided to pass and just get coffee and dessert somewhere else. Overall, the restaurant is beautiful and the food was delicious. I would like to see them have any items available for order on a menu that people can see and read. This would be especially important for anyone hearing impaired or who struggles with English. Also, make some of those fried bananas (or just something a little sweet for the table beside the pineapple on the salad bar).

If your interested in a delicious dinner with excellent service, Brasa's Brazilian Steakhouse gets 5 stars. I fully enjoyed the ambiance, salad bar, steak variety, salmon, sausage, shrimp. My blue goose martini was delicious. We also left room for tres leches dessert. Price was very reasonable for the top notch service we enjoyed. I definitely plan on returning back soon!!

Great service and atmosphere. Everyone was very attentive and nice. The salad bar was great with a good selection of salads and sides. The meat was amazing; everything was juicy and came to our table often. Will return!

This place was AWESOME!! Great ambiance and the staff was amazing...very attentive! The food was delicious. If you've ever been to a Brazilian style restaurant, the serving style is pretty much the same. The salad bar was ok. Don't get me wrong, the selections on the sawere delicious (especially the lobster bisque), just not as much to choose from as I've had at other Brazilian style eateries. They were very good about bringing the requested meat selections. Here's a tip for you though..when eating at these kinds of restaurants do not fill up on the first meats that they bring around...these are generally the "cheaper" cuts/meats (eg. chicken, pork,etc) and they kind of bank on you eating those as opposed to the more expensive meats. Inform them of which cuts you want when you get there (eg. filet, lamb chops), otherwise, you may not get them...just a tip!! Overall, our experience here was great!! They're pretty new so please patronize them and keep them around...they really are awesome!! Give them a try...you won't regret it.

I love this place as good as Fogo but just cooler. It's basically an old 1950s office space right off of Main Street they've done some interesting stuff with what you could do wile respecting what was there. Wait staff is absolutely on time & The lamb was outstanding there house cut beautiful everything was rare to medium rare. I dig it kind of reminds me of my grandfather's office building also

This place was amazing!! Very nice restaurant in downtown. The staff was super friendly and very attentive. This is an all you can eat format. We first started with the salad bar which had all different types of cheeses, different types of salads like wedge, Cesar, kale, there was also things like smoked salmon, green beans, asparagus, chicken salad and other items. Once we came back to our table they started being us the meats like ribeye, lamp chops, shrimps and more. The sides offered were rice, black beans and mashed potatoes. Almost forgot the little things of bread they kept giving us. They offered desserts but we were way too full but the waiter remembered we were celebrating and they brought out a complimentary tres leches cake. Everything was delicious and would definitely go back!

We came here yesterday to celebrate my mother's birthday. And we were all very impressed with the great service and the delicious taste In food. Very elegant setting to the restaurant.

Don't ever go there if you wanna eat meat Cause apparently they never come to your table with the meat I sat there for 2 hours with my wife on a weekend and we were wondering why it wasn't so packed well now we know they came 3 times only with the meat. 3 times in almost 2 hours. And it's not like this place is cheaper than any other Brazilian steak house We ended up paying around $180 for two slices of meet and a single shrimp each. Long story short If you wanna save face with your date, avoid this s**thole

The food is good, but be wary of the used car salesman's sales pitch for most expensive wine by the waiters. Seriously, hold your ground. This place feels like a tourist trap. Also make sure to check your bill at the end of the dinner.

Went here for my birthday on July 27th this year, it was awesome, from the meats to the service. We had a party of 8, but were the only guests in the entire place. They let us walk around the salad bar to pick your own side's you just had to wear your . (I've been to one other place where they have someone walk around the salad bar to serve you.) I Would definitely recommend to everyone to try this place out. Especially if you Love all you can eat meats like Steak, Lamb, Chicken, Pork

Fantastic new Brazilian steakhouse in a great central downtown location. They remodel that Brasa's did is unbelievable, the interior of the building is absolutely stunning. They also have beautiful private rooms for event! I had never been to a Brazilian steakhouse before Brasa's but my husband, who has been to many, says that the food here tops all others! Not to mention the customer service. The waitstaff is so thoughtful and really cares about the customers they serve. We love nearby and will pop in for takeout and they make a point to remember us each time. It is service like that that makes you want to return! Not to mention the amazing takeout deals they have been offering during the pandemic. It was a great way for a newbie like me to get to try new meats and sides before having the full experience, but the full experience was pretty epic! Highly recommend!
