I have been here a few times and I love everything but my FAVORITE is the spicy Margarita it's the best margarita ever !!! Tacos were awesome, fish and Chips really good, avocado burger was great too. Cheese curds and Brussel sprouts were awesome. The Buffalo cauliflower was not good . Overall amazing

Josh Patrick

Google
Not too bad. The steak tacos were decent but cold. Fast service except they forgot one of the individuals in our group and our food was delivered to different people at different times. So much so that people were done before the last person got their food.

Google
Good spot, quick wifi, deep beer menu. Food was good too. My server would do this weird thing where she’d walk by and ask if I was good, but not proactively do anything. Like, even though she checked on me, I still had to ask her for a refill every time. It was strange. The Italian sub sando was pretty good and the side salad was fresh. I really appreciated the artwork on the walls. Super unique. Good stuff overall.

Google
I ordered the steak ceasar salad. She brought me a ceasar salad covered in hamburger meat. Naturally, a reasonable person would be a little caught off guard if you were expecting sliced steak.... So I said "oh I'm sorry I ordered the steak salad,". Dead faced and bothered she replied "this is the steak salad" in a way that seemed annoyed I said anything. Extremely disappointed

The first time I visited was in April and I visited recently in September. I passed by a few times a week and was surprised at how nice the experience was when I finally decided to check Brass Tap out! The drinks, food, and service were great both time. The happy hour specials are good. The servers was attentive and friendly. I really like all the TVs so you're able to watch different sporting events at one time. I'm looking forward to returning again soon.

I wanted to like this place so much but too many bad experiences in our first time here. 1. We received the same service from our waitress when there was only 3 tables occupied to when the place got much more full, which was no waitress in sight. 2. The sun goes down on the right hand side of the main doors, and while it’s cute and all, it does become very annoying and extremely hot. Cannot imagine what the summer is like there. They need a retractable blind they can put down when the sun is setting because it’s seriously a problem. 3. No toilet paper in the women’s Barth room 4. Waitress didn’t even bother to explain our bill could be viewed through the device she dropped off at our hands. It just said the total and to pay it. There needs to be a better way to do minimal waste with a new system. We couldn’t confirm or deny our bill and that made us curious to know how many people are paying for the wrong food and not even knowing it. Beer selection was good, food was good. Just wish we had better service. And honestly, I don’t even think I can blame this on short staff, I think this is just the way things run in this place.

Google
The absolute best place to get a drink and laugh. The food is excellent. Tiffany is the best bartender on this side of heaven. If it's wasn't for her and server Stephanie and Matt I wouldn't come back. I'm 1yr and counting. Just LIKE CHEERS, this place knows my name!

Google
This was my first time at Brass Tap. Went in the middle of the day. Was greeted as soon as I walked in. Was able to seat myself, and a server was at my table less than 5 minutes. She was very nice. The food was good and served hot. Didn't get any drinks, but they do have Coke products. The drink menu looked interesting, and they have so many beer choices.

Kristi C.

Yelp
Nice restaurant! Great food, Excellent service, Comfortable and Cool atmosphere. TVs everywhere were to catch the game were a plus. They have a nice bar selection as well. Great place to go for lunch or dinner. The steak salad looked as good as it tasted. A+++

Anthony G.

Yelp
Loud, loud,, very loud Find your own seat any open spot will do. Parking is off street, they share a parking lot. Service....... Overworked and under staffed. Ambiance..... a lot of tv's. But four had a message that the program wasn't available in my market. Food and drinks, a full bar.food portions looked on the smaller side Other than that I can't tell you about. I told the waiter I wanted to sample 3 beers, I told him two that I wanted he said I'll be right back and walked away and didn't come back . 5 minutes later we left

Shauna D.

Yelp
The service was great! Food was good. It is quite small including our high top table. We didn't really have much space to move any empty dishes or glasses around. The jerk salmon bites were okay. They needed more jerk sauce. We will come back for drinks next time.

Tommie G.

Yelp
Pretty solid neighborhood bar that's worth the visit. We don't have much down here in Hapeville like this so it's a nice place to have, I'm not sure why it took so long for me to get in here but glad I did. It's a nice sized bar with plenty of TVs for the game, a huge beer menu and full bar for everything else. And the food? Actually really good. The bang bang shrimp was a suprise, very crunchy and delicious - I'd go back for that alone. And the blackberry gourmet grilled cheese, also really good. The burgers are just burgers, but they go well with the drinks. All in all, it's a chill spot. Nothing to fancy, nothing to complex. Just a nice place to come after a long day and hang out to decompress while having a drink and chill with friends or make some new ones.

Glenda B.

Yelp
I came across the spot due to Facebook advertising. Every time I will go on my page this restaurant will pop up in my feed. Normally I keep scrolling when I see advertisements but this one caught my eye because it said Hapeville. Since I decided to purposefully interact with more people and be more social I have been restaurant hopping lately. Why not do it in my own backyard? The perfect time was yesterday, a late Saturday evening. So me and my girlfriend we could ride over and had some drinks and some food. I like the set up although most of the seating is high top tables. They have an outdoor section as well. The place was full of people but not crowded. Everybody had beer, shots and drinks. Some had food. We ordered: WING BASKET - 15 8 wings, fries, celery & dipping sauce. I got the boom boom sauce on these. They were piping hot, perfectly crispy and oh so good with blue cheese dressing. They were good sized wings. Perfect! No celery was included. BRUSSELS SPROUTS - 10 Baked & tossed in garlic butter with fire roasted red peppers. This dish was disappointing and the one that I looked forward to the most. I will try anybody's brussel sprouts if it's on the menu. It came in this nice cast iron skillet but it was not cooked in the skillet. In fact the skillet was room temperature. The brussel sprouts were dry, tasteless, not cooked well. They have a chart on them but they were on the raw side. They also didn't have any taste which was disappointing. Where was the garlic butter there was none and there was no sauce in the pan either. TRIO - 11 Salsa, house-made guacamole & white queso. This appetizer was a delight because the chips were sprinkled with some kind of spice which was good. The guacamole had salsa verde in it. The queso and the salsa was also pretty good. FRIED SHRIMP - 15.25 Cocktail sauce with coleslaw & crinkle-cut fries My friend ordered this and she said it was good. The shrimp were a nice size. QUESO - 9 Creamy white cheddar cheese, ground green chilies, onion, garlic & fresh jalapeños Drinks THE WEEKENDER - 11 Tito's® Handmade Vodka, sour apple & peach liqueurs, cranberry & orange juices. If you are not careful you will guzzle this down quickly because it's just that good. The vodka is so smooth. RASPBERRY LEMON DROP MARTINI - 11.5 Tito's® Handmade Vodka, house-made simple syrup, raspberry liqueur, fresh lemon juice, served up with a sugared rim. Loved my drink but it there was no sugar on the rim. I enjoyed my time here at the spot and will be returning. The next time I will be getting a burger though and more drinks. They make very good drinks. There were a lot of local folks there just having drinks either solo or in a group giving. It's a nice addition to the trip city area of Hapeville, College Park and East Point. Also our server Paris was very attentive, knowledgeable and very sweet. She was on top of everything.

Yelp
I came here for a Friday night dinner with some friends in Hapeville. Parking is super easy in the lot and there was a lot of space inside the restaurant, even on a Friday night! It was a little noisy, but plenty of space to sit. Even though service was a little slow (I think they were understaffed), our waitress was awesome and had lot of recommendations, especially on the drink menu. I loved how many craft beers they had on tap! I had a local lager which was refreshing. My friends tried their cocktails which were also super strong and delicious! For dinner, I had a Creole burger with brussel sprouts as my side. The buger itself was pretty average for a burger and I didn't taste the Creole seasoning too much. The remoulade was delicious (wish there was more!) and the brussels were pretty crispy and tasty, Overall, a decent spot to grab a drink!

Terry K.

Yelp
Stopped in for a beer. Tried a couple samples. The first was their Back Forty Truck Stop Honey Brown...I love a good brown, but this wasn't one of them. I settled on their Arches Mexican Empire Vienna Lager which was sorta like a Corona. It was good enough that I had a second one. At $8 a 16 oz draft, pricey. But again, rising prices are everywhere. I looked over their food menu but didn't try anything. But definitely saw a few items that I wouldn't mind trying on another visit. They have several big screens throughout the place. So if you're looking to down a few brews while watching your team, this would be a good choice for you.

Yelp
I've been here twice so far, once during happy hour and another time during Saturday Night College Football. Both experiences were great. Service has been consistent and excellent, food always comes out hot and honestly if there has been any issues that arise my servers have always addressed them to my satisfaction. Drinks are pretty decent. I've also had the strawberry mule . I wish they added just a tad bit more alcohol in my Mules on my last visit. My server Matt was really Pleasant and helpful. Pretzels, bang bang shrimp, lemon pepper wings fried crispy and crinkle fries were all to my satisfaction. As for the atmosphere it's laid back, look like more of a place where the local Hapeville folks are regulars.

Marty S.

Yelp
Drinks are good if you can get someone to bring them to you. 2 visits each time waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged. There is nothing to be learned from the 2nd kick of a mule.

Jerry M.

Yelp
I was amazed when we got to the brass tap. I never knew that it existed but I enjoyed the surrounding experience of the place. Very nice and relaxing atmosphere. Service was excellent I enjoyed talking with one of the owners of the restaurant and he made us feel like one of the regulars. I gotta say that the food was smashing!

Tiffani W.

Yelp
I'm all about a good happy hour so I checked out this spot. The drink of the week was an espresso martini and it was really good, it didn't need the sugar rum though. They had lots of cocktail choices and beers on tap. The tequila flight was whew!! The food was good, the service was on point, especially since there was only one bartender. It's a nice sized establishment and I'll definitely be back!!

Cassandra Tia H.

Yelp
This may be my new spot. The 2 times I've gone was mid afternoon so the Delta employees are in for lunch.. you can seat yourself... walking in its a covered "Patio" area with tables and Tvs. Then you walk into the main dining area plenty of high top and regular tables.. sorry no booths. the bar was clear so there I headed. Greeted by Lexi.. she is AWESOME.. She made that Spicy Margarita GUUUUD!!! I usually have a beer after a cocktail.. but not that day. They have many craft beers on draft I was able to try a few stouts. The first time I went I had a burger and fries it was good. I saw on a old menu they use to have sweet potato fries.. please bring them back. I I think the menu changes like some places change with the seasons. The second time I went... to the bar. I got me a good stout.. something Moneybags, lol. I got the pork quesadillas.. with the sour cream, pickled onions tomato lettuce and barbecue sauce on the side. When I tell you that barbecue sauce was good it was sweet with a hint of spice.. like I like.. next I will try the brisket sandwich. Maybe I will make it for Happy Hour.. yessss they have some happy hour specials. I watched this place being built I waited anxiously for it to open. And I must sat I'm not disappointed AT ALL!!!!

A.J. H.

Yelp
My cousin works in the area and brought me here after I landed. We sat at the bar. Tiffany's friendliness and recommendations were welcomed after a long travel day. The fish and chips (subbed tater tots) were delicious. Like I WILL return tasty. They had Ace Pineapple cider on tap. Tiffany recommended two other options for my not-really-a-beer-drinker palette that were quite delicious. My cousin recommended the flat bread pizza, so I'll try that next time. Good place to watch sports.

Yelp
GIRLS DAY OUT TO LUNCH! My lunch companion and I were very excited to dine here as its only been open a few weeks. The food was good, I ordered the Chicken Club Wrap, with Applewood bacon, in a flour tortilla. I ordered sweet potato fries which I really enjoyed and Brussel Sprouts. My lunch companion ordered the Blackened Cod Tacos which came with two delicious tacos, and tater tots. She enjoyed her meal as well. Now although the food was great the service on the other hand was not as great as the food. After we were seated PARIS came over to take our drink orders, we gave her the food order as well, all at one time. Our food finally came out no drinks and no silverware. It was a while before she came back to the table. We ordered Dessert which was Chocolate Chip Lava Cookie & Ice Cream. Another server who was friendly brought out our desserts. The lava cookie was a little over cooked otherwise not bad overall. The ladies bathroom was clean as a whistle. We loved that. I'm hoping for better service the next time we visit here, this place is awesome to meet friends for lunch plus it's very close to my friends house.

Thomas T.

Yelp
This place does the basics right great service, draft list and food. It's nothing fancy its bar food done right. The food was great it can be so easy to not do simple food right its all too common at places like this. But this place sets the standard in simple good food in the area. I'm sure we will be back soon.

Matthew V.

Yelp
Good local sports bar, plenty of TV's, good customer service.. I ordered the chicken nachos, very good, just wished they had pickled jalapeños peppers available. Met the owner and he was super nice.. I will become a regular here at this location..

Bill D.

Yelp
A solid beer menu and good food. Great place to watch a game. My wife and I had steak nachos that was good. Loaded with lots of steak but as advertised has queso for the cheese. Lively on a Saturday night with only a few empty seats. Mostly high top or bar seats so not super kid friendly.

Ryan L.

Yelp
Poorly run. Virginia Ave isn't the safest neighborhood, so when you plan to walk from one of the local hotels after dark to eat, it'd be nice if the place you're going to was open. Well, on this particular night their website said they were open until 10pm. Sure enough, I make the walk over there, arriving shortly before 9pm, and all the lights are on and there are people sitting in various areas eating and drinking. I take a seat at the bar and after awhile the bartender comes over and dismissively states that they're closed. I queried her as to why their website reflects that they are open until 10pm. Again, dismissively told that they were busy earlier in the day and the decision was made to close over an hour earlier than stated in their website. That made absolutely zero sense, and I didn't peruse the issue any further. Unfortunately, I'm required to stay in this neighborhood from time-to-time for work. I will no longer be stopping by this place nor recommending it to co-workers.

Mark W.

Yelp
Thursday evening around 7:30 walked in and found a seat. Waited on quickly. Awesome beer selection. Tried the guacamole and chips. Brought out quickly and they were good. Ordered the Baja chicken Flatbread. Served hot. Lots of chicken and was delicious

David G.

Yelp
Excellent beer selection; good food. Easy walking distance from Virginia Ave hotels. Pleasant wait staff.

Brian B.

Yelp
The fact that this business is unclaimed on Yelp let's me know that the owners are more in love with entrepreneurship than actually running a business. This review will be very critical since I live in the area and I'm always trying to find good restaurants so I don't have to travel to Atlanta for a good meal. In our area you must be better than or equal to 4 restaurants, Pit Boss, Corner Tavern, Chairs, and Malone's. This restaurant is not even close. I ordered the 2 main staples of any good pub or bar the burger and the wings. Let's start with the burger. Let's just say it's not better than the Wendy's across the street. I ordered the pub burger medium. The patties were over cooked, dry and seemed like the cheap patties you buy from the grocery store. I ordered the wings and got them rubbed with the Cajun seasoning. Let's just say if I was Cajun I would feel disrespected. The seasoning was bland! It's like who ever created this blend had NEVER been to New Orleans or even Pappadeaux. Even though the food at this establishment is It will still make money because of it's location, the front of house staff, and strong drinks. However, it will not last for long. This restaurant is probably not even averaging $100k a week, but could easily do real numbers if the owners really cared about the culinary experience. I urge you to please get a real chef to curate this menu and help source quality ingredients. Yes, it will cost, but you will reap the rewards. This area has a robust workforce and sees millions of travelers every year that look for establishments like yours to have a unique experience. I'm even willing to give it a second try ONLY if changes are made.

Sarah J.

Yelp
Plenty of free parking is the first plus. Customer service always on point. Never too crowded therefore you can hangout

Jim L.

Yelp
Stopped in here after experiencing many different bars in the area as I was here visiting, and I have to say I love this place as it had so many beers on tap and wasn't like many other places I visited with loud rap music playing so you couldn't hear yourself think. This place had great music and a super friendly bar staff Chelsea was amazing!! Was able to try many beers and the food is very good here too!!

Keith F.

Yelp
We've been here over a dozen times at least. We meet the PSU alumni here for the games Saturday and hold this bar in high regard for the excellent service we get for our visits.

Taylor H.

Yelp
I came in mid-day and sat at the bar on a Sunday. I enjoyed the friendly/attentive service from Chelsey. She was knowledgeable about the beers and menu! The beer selection was large and diverse. I ordered the steak tacos and liked that they were grilled, which melted the cotija cheese w the steak. Only constructive criticism was the guacamole seemed under-seasoned. Good news is, it was fresh!

Grace F.

Yelp
Came with a party of 9 for dinner, within walking distance from Hilton. Appetizers were awesome (boom boom shrimp, chips with avocado/white cheese/salsa dip). Entrees were ok, not a lot of selection, I just had the chicken tenders. Way too much breading but once I peeled it off, the chicken was tender and juicy.

K A.

Yelp
Stopped at this bar on a whim and was disappointed. The hours states it closed at 12a however @ 1020p we were turned away saying the kitchen was closed and they were on last call If that is the norm it should be stated in advertisements for the business. I encounter hundreds of travelers at ATL Hartsfield Airport looking for late night eateries in the area from delayed flights. Brass Tap will not be recommended to anyone at the airport or Delta Airlines by me!

Gabe C.

Yelp
Have been here three times. Sports bar atmosphere with several large screens. Nice selection of beers on tap. Bar tender and wait staff are friendly and attentive. Enjoyed the Caifornia chicken wrap. Will be back.

Laila E.

Yelp
Me and my Husband wanted to try Brass Tap for the first time since living in Hapeville. We walked in today at 3:35pm. After being seated for 10 minutes with no service, my husband approached the waitress Stephanie to let her know we haven't been greeted yet. She let him know she was by herself and would be over to us in two minutes. After waiting an additional10 minutes we decided to leave. 0/10 would not recommend if you enjoy and look forward to great service.

Robert J.

Yelp
Excellent beer list, good selection of bar foods. If you are stuck near the ATL airport it is a great spot for a night out.

Edwin P.

Yelp
This my go to happy hour spot on Friday. I love the craft beers and the drinks are decent as well. There hasn't been a time that I've been here and haven't enjoyed the food. The beer sampler is super dope and I absolutely love the pineapple cider they have. 5 stars. The customer service is great. My only complaint is that if you sit inside it can get quite loud which makes it kinda tough if you are there on a date or something. You can always sit outside which is my preference, but I love the Brass Tap and I will probably see you over there on Friday.

Nil S.

Yelp
The food was hot and fresh. The service provided was nice and friendly. I love how there is always a game on. Nice spot to hang out with friends

Shereka J.

Yelp
The service was excellent and the food was on point. Definitely will visit again! Crispy Chicken Sandwich, with the chicken dipped in buffalo sauce, OMG!!!

Mira M.

Yelp
Fix your door it's freezing! Place was full tonight and we had to sit on your outer area by the door. It doesn't shut all the way. Not fun.

Peter S.

Yelp
Excellent Happy Hour till 7pm. Recommend the Brussels sprouts and chicken tacos. Cheese curds sold out.

C Denise H.

Yelp
We were in Atlanta the night before our flight and just wanted a nice, warm, friendly place to grab a bit to eat. This place fit the bill and we really enjoyed our food and all the staff were very friendly. Thank you!

Taize T.

Yelp
5 stars for happy hour. Amazing boom boom shrimp, great queso, guac, and salsa, also wonderful Brussels !! Service was impeccable. It was packed when I came but definitely sports bar vibes. Everyone I came with got the grilled cheese sandwiches and loved them.

Diana H.

Yelp
The food was great and nots let forget the drinks! Grab yourself some pretzel bites with cheese and the brisket tacos are oh so good! Favorite drink has to be the raspberry lemon drop! Come to have a drink , relax and enjoy yourself. They even have a room for your private events.Ask for Ciara she is the best server!!!!

M P.

Yelp
Sweet potato fries. Sweet heat BBQ bacon burger. Back forty truck stop honey brown. The burger was cooked perfect. The bacon, nice and thick with lots of flavor. Really liked this burger a lot! The sweet potato fries were nice and hot, cooked great. I realize the taps rotate, but this one was awesome! They have the coolest ambiance. And LOTS of taps to choose from. My bartender gal was fantastic!

Jennifer B.

Yelp
So lucky to stumble across this place near our airport hotel. The food was great... and the server was busting it... only table server and he was working the room to get to all the tables and get our food and drinks in... we will come back next time we are flying out of ATL

T S.

Yelp
Good food and beer. Service was good as well once we were finally greeted. Every time I've visited they seem to be short staffed.

John F.

Yelp
Beer heaven!!!! Great place to catch your college and NFL games! The menu is just the right size. Ample parking

Jacob D.

Yelp
If you are ever close to the Atlanta airport and need a place with great service, great beer, and great food this is the place to go. They also have a large selections of tvs if you ever want to catch a game. Tiffany was the bartender/server of our group and she did a phenomenal job! She was so welcoming when we walked in and never left our table unattended for too long. I do not have one complaint about this place and highly recommend.

Allan R.

Yelp
Great addition to Virginia ave. I had wings and a side salad. Both were really good. Great beer selection and friendly staff. Another note, very clean inside. After the same old stuff on Virginia ave this is a great addition.

Eric D.

Yelp
The best lemon pepper wings I've ever had! The beer selection is top notch! Great service and great staff.

Jillian O.

Yelp
Fantastic staff! Good food and craft beer/cider! My Avacado Burger was delicious! Pineapple cider was very refreshing! Will definitely be back!

Eric G.

Yelp
Great beer selection, wings are great, sandwich great, service great. Not sure why it doesn't have a higher rating. Best place on Virginia Ave for sure.

Robert J.

Yelp
Food was decent, beer selection pretty good, ambiance sucked. Now that you have the gist, the details. Happy hour menu sounded really good, but they were out of the item I wanted off of it (cheese curds). Happy hour pint ($5) was limited to one beer... Crispy chicken sandwich was good, tasty and crispy. Crinkle fries were meh, I'm not a crinkle cut fan when there are so many better ways to cut and fry a potato, but so be it. Service was friendly. Our server was attentive and quick with requests. Overall, if it stopped here I'd say it was 4 stars and worth going back....BUT....it's loud. I mean it is LOUD. My Apple Watch registered over 80db always and occasionally peaked around 91 or 92db. That is enough to cause hearing damage in the time you eat a meal. Seriously, you can't have a conversation. The tall metal roof with no sound proofing, plus the music playing, leads to everyone shouting to be heard. It was uncomfortable. I seriously worry for the waitstaff and employees, they should be wearing hearing protection....they WILL suffer hearing loss from working there.

Lauren W.

Yelp
Me and my friends came here for dinner before leaving for spring break, we had to wait 30 minutes for someone to even come and give us a menu. Then we had to wait forever to have our order taken, then the food took over 30 mins to come out and wasn't warm. We ordered drinks and 2 came out and the 3rd took another 20 minutes to come out. Not to mention the drinks were terrible. To top it all off, one of my friends got FOOD POISONING! 10/10 do not recommend and will never come back.

Quen S.

Yelp
Excellent bar food, wings are flavorful and the amount is worth the price. The pulled pork grilled cheese was also delicious. There is a lot of beers on tap, and there's a full selection of cocktails.
