"An outpost of its namesake in Stockholm, this is the brainchild of the Swedish owner-chef Björn Frantzén. Nestled in the historical Victoria Concert Hall (1800s), its retro glamour complements the chef's new spin on brasserie classics, some with trolley or tableside service. Try the råraka, a Swedish potato cake topped with vendace roe, crème fraîche, chives and red onion. Toast Astoria with prawn, king crab and wasabi aioli is also unmissable." - Michelin Inspector

Astoria is a true gem tucked inside the historic Victoria Concert Hall — dining here feels like being part of something timeless. Every dish was flawlessly executed, packed with amazing flavors and presented beautifully. I never had anything like that any where else in Singapore. It's unique to its own. I guess it's the Swedish influence from the chef. The ambience is elegant yet relaxed — ideal for everything from a romantic date to a fun girlie brunch or night out. The wine selection is impressive and thoughtfully curated, and the service? Absolutely top notch — warm, attentive, and professional from start to finish. There wasn't a single miss all evening. And best of all, it doesn’t break the wallet. For the quality of food, service, and setting, it’s worth every penny. A must-visit spot in Singapore!

Brasserie Astoria Singapore is an absolute gem. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with a warm, elegant atmosphere that perfectly blends classic European charm with modern sophistication. The food is simply outstanding — every dish is beautifully presented and full of flavour, with careful attention to detail. The service is equally impressive: attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. Whether you’re here for a special occasion or just a refined evening out, Brasserie Astoria delivers an exceptional dining experience. Definitely one of the best additions to Singapore’s fine dining scene. Highly recommended!

From the moment you walk in the service, wine recommendations and every dish makes you feel like you’re in France. Our waiter, Xavier was attentive, warm and a joy throughout the evening. The sommelier was fantastic as well, as he suggested wonderful wines at the perfect price point for us. Overall, a truly delightful experience that left us very happy and me noting it’s my favourite restaurant in Singapore

Treated my friend to the weekday set lunch ($58++) for her birthday back in April, and the whole experience felt quietly luxe and relaxed. The restaurant is located next to Victoria Concert Hall, haha quite the dramatic space, high ceilings, great lighting. Definitely good for pictures, just remember no flash photography in the dining room. (my friend was chided lol) We went with both options from the set menu so we could share and try everything. I don’t remember the exact menu now, but the dishes were well-executed. Nothing overly experimental, but everything was plated beautifully and tasted balanced. Food was good, not mind-blowing, but the whole experience felt special enough. I’d recommend it for birthdays, client lunches, or a weekday treat if you work around City Hall.

Strategically situated within the beautifully aged Victoria Concert Hall, the restaurant exudes old-world charm with a classy ambience. It is the kind of place where first impressions matters. Unsurprisingly, many couples chose this spot for a romantic dinner, with the atmosphere effortlessly setting the mood. Service was strangely inconsistent, with different waitstaff displaying varying degrees of hospitality. However, the common issue was the difficulty in getting their attention. This might be attributed to the dim lighting, which can make recognising guests’ facial cues hard to notice, until frustration sets in. Both food and drinks took a while to arrive, despite it being a relatively quiet Friday evening. In addition, there was a two-hour seating limit that we were not aware of beforehand. Due to the slow pacing between courses, we were eventually moved from our cozy corner table to a less private lounge area to finish our mains, which disrupted the flow of our dinner. Pricing is fair and accessible, especially considering the setting and overall theme. The menu offers a wide selection of dishes, complemented by an extensive cocktail list. The food hints of Michelin-level finesse, but what it does deliver is textbook consistency, generous portions, and fresh ingredients, particularly in the seafood dishes. We created our own tasting menu by ordering multiple plates across the starters, entrees, and mains. While none stood out as exceptional, everything was solid and satisfying. The cocktails were the true highlight. Each drink was meticulously crafted, with the alcohol seamlessly integrated to enhance the intricate flavours. For dessert, we opted for the petit fours. The macarons turned out to be peanut butter-filled, which was a surprise, especially as one of us has a mild peanut allergy. Thankfully, it was a non-issue eventually, but it would be helpful if allergens were clearly indicated in the menu, especially for diners with more serious concerns. All in all, a pleasant evening with great vibes. Once the service smooths out its rough edges, this could easily become a go-to for all, and not just special, occasions.

Nice food, good service, lovely setting. Ordered the garlic bread as per everyone’s recommendations. It’s delicious though a little expensive. Love my clam and uni pasta that they brought back as Mother’s Day special. Thanks for the complimentary birthday tarts as well as Mother’s Day cards cocktail. That is thoughtful and meant a lot. Will be back!

Came here to celebrate my birthday. We liked the romantic atmosphere, the lights and decoration were insta worthy 🤩 lovely food, we definitely will return for their Astoria toast. Plus point for their service, they were attentive yet didn’t give too much pressure. We were served by Rus, he deserves a special mention for making our dinner experience so positive!
