The food was so good that I have to rate this place 4 stars for the food alone however dining out is more than just food, the service and vibe of the place has to also shine. The man on front of house we felt was rude and absolutely could not be bothered to smile or speak to us, just picked up the menus and expected us to follow him without saying a word, took us to the table and put the menus down and didn’t speak to us, didn’t welcome us or have any niceties which was super disappointing and already put us on the back foot. Service was very slow and our lovely waiter seemed rushed off his feet and although there were many other staff, none seemed to be sharing his huge number of tables. He turned our experience around though and was so friendly. The music and DJ was great, she lifted the atmosphere with her fun vibe and demeanour. The food was honestly brilliant, cannot fault at all, hence the 4 star review.

Wonderful ambience and amazing food, would definitely recommend the mussels with fries! In terms of service, both ladies who came with food were super friendly and polite. Our main waiter however was unfortunately very inattentive, slow and cold. We weren’t asked to have desserts or more drinks before our time was up and his short and cold answers lowered the experience of Astoria quite a lot. We booked a table downstairs so next time I’ll book the dining hall, hopefully the service there is on a level that corresponds to the standard of this restaurant.

Stylish French-ish restaurant with excellent food, well worth a visit for couples, families, or anyone else. The menu of elevated brasserie classics is full of great taste and value - try the caesar salad prepared at your table - and don’t sleep on the dessert menu, with terrific vanilla ice cream, flambé plums, and more.

As we were first booked at the bar and asked with the reservation for the dining room the team did a very good job in not even doing the switch but giving us a wonderful quiet table. This came together with a perfect service by all of the staff. Not to mention the extrem good food and drinks! Short summary: just perfect!

5 stars across given price and what you get for it. Fantastic place for family, couples, or a nice business lunch or dinner. Professionalism in every aspect of all guest interaction, should probably not call it “the little brother of Franzén” because that is the 3🌟, but this is so good, accessible and just an amazing dining experience nevertheless. I’ve done lunches, dinners, business and family here and we will always come back.

Absolutely loved this place. It was a long time I wanted to visit but somehow haven’t in last 7 years. Now when I went I was happily surprised. Such a nice decor, ultra upbeat vibe and such good food. Absolutely loved the cocktails. By the bar sitting was also so much fun and it was great to see these lovely bartenders making awesome drinks. Food was top notch, even loved the garlic bread that came, it was so super yummm. Absolutely worth going a place. I am definitely visiting again for proper dinner I visited it next time, it was a Sunday and everything changed. Atmosphere was dull and empty. And the service was shockingly bad. Host was super lousy. We got a side table. I asked to move us to the bar and then no one came attending us for our order or giving us menus. A bartender looked at us and gave us menus.Such poor service, super super super disappointed this time

Bar in the basement and restaurant upstairs.Veal in my opinion was too salty with different ingredients and sauce. Sitting near the open kitchen enhances the dining experience.
