"Located in a handsome mansion, not far from the Chartreuse cellars, this tastefully redecorated brasserie, which boasts a fine wooden staircase leading up to the guestrooms, offers a patriotic line-up of Gallic fare, in which delicacies from Voiron feature prominently, such as cabbage stuffed with venison, free-range poultry with a Chartreuse-flavoured jus or the iced parfait, also perfumed with Chartreuse. Very pleasant welcome and service." - Michelin Inspector

We visited on a busy Thursday evening in July. We arrived 15 minutes early thinking we could have a drink on the terrace but were told we were far too early and the terrace was reserved for hotel guests. We sat outside which is lovely. Wine was nice. Food was hit or miss. The gnocchi was far too dense and gummy. The tuna was fatty and overcooked. French fries and appetizers were good. Servers were overloaded and not attentive. It took 20 minutes to get water and 30 minutes for the check. We won’t be back

Food was a little bland (notably the ravioles de langoustine) and filet mignon de porc was over cooked and dry. Loads of very friendly waiters made the experience ok.

Ate and stayed there over summer. Lovely room overlooking the gardens and huge bathroom. Hotel is great value. Had dinner outside. Nice relaxed service with good choices on menu and well cooked food. Would definitely return.
