My wife and I had a very disappointing dinner at Brasserie Chic. The starter options were extremely limited and uninspiring. nothing stood out, and what we ordered lacked flavor and creativity. We were especially looking forward to the venison, which is supposedly their signature dishes, but it was a complete letdown. The meat was chewy and overcooked, making it nearly inedible that we ended up leaving almost half the plate. When we raised our concerns with the waiter, she simply said it was the first complaint they’d received and left it at that. No apology, no offer to make it right. For a hotel with such a reputation, this level of food and service is unacceptable. We won’t be returning.

I have had many good meals at this restaurant. I see some reviewers were not happy. Can't say I agree, I only had good experiences at this brasserie. It may not be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Service and food was excellent, hope I can have a chance to visit again.

Quite expensive. Quality of food is good but service is not extraordinary. Bread is served cold - not a fan of cold bread in a 5 star hotel. Their "home-made" ice tea is made with the cheapest box of juice that you can find in our local supermarket added to tea that they make themselves. Oh and they also added Dholl puri to their menu at rs350 (they sell this everywhere at rs25). Prepared with gold maybe?

For the price that you are paying, you expect a better service and food. The starters and dessert were good but the main dish was below average. It lacked refinement and taste. The thai curry lacked flavour and was served only with rice.

One of the restaurants at the Labourdonnais Waterfront Hotel. It has indoor and outdoor sitting areas with views of the waterfront. The menu has a mix of local specialties and European cuisine. Good atmosphere and service. Good option for a fancy meal in Port Louis.

The only thing worse than the food is the service. It felt like a lack of management. Clearly not one was tasting the food, we had 5 different mains and most were inedible. No flavor, seemed like 5 box meals had been microwaved. The service was no existent and in such a restaurant you wonder what the management spends their time doing.

Good food and good drinks but just the spaghetti did not have good taste

Fantastic place with a beautiful al fresco area right by the water and bay and attached to a luxury hotel. The service staff were excellent and extremely friendly and hospitable. We had an infant with us and they went out of the way to make us feel comfortable and made a ginormous portion of fresh baby food upon request. Each dish was excellent and the portions were massive. Enough to share for 2-3 pax. Absolutely great value for money. Highly recommend.
