Visit to brassiere de la mule in Schaerbeek 06.07 .3023 just round the corner of Schaerbeek’s beautiful commune building . The brassiere has lovely selection of beers which are home brewed and packed . There is free live music on certain days of week ( check agenda online) . The brewery has a lovely open garden seating as well as retro style indoor seating . If you are big group you can lounge into big sofas or couples can enjoy more romantic time on window side garden facing trendy bar stools with beer barrels as tables , standard bar stools option surrounding the bar remains too ! You can even buy cans for home and you can expect a good discount if you buy 2 dozens cans in single order . We did buy few dozens for home! I tried classic lager and loved the freshness and perfect blend of flavors and the beautiful colour and texture. The staff was so kind to explain the end to end process of beer making , we could taste even the grains that are used for beers . 4 key types Lager, pils, Heffe & noir ( swarzte- black) are brewed in-house & lot more . The graphic design on can is so beautiful & colorful just shows the brewers artistic perspective & uniqueness & passion for his products . Priced decently affordable but tastes really Outstanding a visit to this brewery is a must if you visit to Brussels. The most I like it as it’s tucked away from city centre ( still in centre of Schaerbeek ) and tourist traps and if you want a real genuine experience of good authentic beers as well as local Belgian evenings do visit here !

Fun neighborhood brewery away from the tourist center. The building used to be the stables for the horses that pulled the cable cars. A nice change of pace, they brew a lot of German style beers. No wonder that they threw an Oktoberfest party! Fries - which were excellent - and sausages were available on this day, but regularly it's just bar snacks and cheese. We got a few beers and relaxed on the big comfy couches. Nice terrace outside too. Staff was nice, and prices were fair (a half liter of beer was 5 euro)

A new brewery / bar that concentrates on German beer styles. The beers are lightly and tastefully hopped, which is a welcome change to the trend for just chucking buckets of hops in. Prices are competitive compared to other craft beer bars, just EUR 5 for a 50cl glass. There is a comfy and roomy indoor bit with a variety of seating arrangements, and an outdoor terrace. This place really deserves to succeed and is a very welcome change in Brussels. Please, give it your support.

Excellent brewery with a full selection of lagers available. In an old rustic building with a large back patio that is very cozy. Would assume music as a band was practicing. Some small plates available. Excellent hummus and bread, rillette, and a few dried sausages.

Nice place, characteristic and cozy. They make their own beer and it is great.

Long overdue review. One of the nicest spots in Brussels for live music and beer. Good vibes, good people.
