It was our first night in Paris, and we wanted a nice place to eat. I saw this restaurant was close by and decided to walk in around 10 p.m. The food was amazing, I loved how fresh the salmon was and how perfectly the yogurt sauce complemented it.
For mains, we ordered the steak tartare, which was absolutely delicious and came with some of the best fries I have ever eaten. We also had the beef steak, which was equally tasty. For dessert, we chose the Paris-Brest, which was labeled as the house specialty, and they were right. It was rich in flavor and a soft, delightful way to end a savory meal.
They didn’t charge us for the bread, and they served plenty of it. It was fresh and soft, just as it should be.
The staff was amazing, always friendly and helpful. Our French isn’t the best, so we switched to English, and they were always polite and accommodating.
I would definitely come back (and probably will). I recommend this place with my eyes closed!
