"With this brasserie, Tabata and Ludovic Mey (whose other restaurant, Ombellule, is next door) prove that they have more than one string to their bow. Sit down to classic, bourgeois French cuisine: beef fillet with sauce périgourdine, chicken and veal sweetbread vol-au-vent, turbot with sauce bonne femme, savarin, millefeuille for two, cut and plated tableside… A tempting lunch set menu comes in at a lower price point to complement the high-calibre à la carte menu. Appetizers were delicious; the lobster salad was sublime, tender pieces of lobster with diced vegetables and wonderful dressing, the escargot were wonderful in a tasty foam. The sole for two was impeccable, perfectly cooked and presented. The service was excellent, attentive and knowledgeable. Wine selection excellent. As the restaurant got busy, the sound level increased with a noisy table near us. (Staff apologized for the other table)

I recently dined at the newly opened Brasserie Roseaux. The elegant, cozy ambiance set the stage for a beautiful meal. We savored delicious starters, the Chou farci aux champignons and the masterfully prepared Côte de boeuf rôtie. The wine selection and dessert were equally exquisite and service was attentive and kind. À bientôt !

We were abandoned by the staff. Had to beg for water, beg for salt, beg for any attention at all. Skipped dessert because it took too long. Tant pis. The food was excellent but a salad or more vegetables on the menu would have been welcome
