"This former Art Nouveau banana warehouse, which now houses Brasserie Surréaliste, is worth a visit on its own, but you can also enjoy a brewery tour and occasionally musical performances. You’ll learn how Surréaliste is brewed, as well as discover the various IPAs that have made the brand famous. The house's design, created by Brussels artist Elzo Durst, is the cherry on top." - The MICHELIN Guide

What a gem of a brasserie! The décor is absolutely stunning—a perfect blend of antique, industrial, and chic. The spacious interior, with its beautiful wooden tables made from old factory pieces, feels both cozy and grand. The lighting is just right, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The prices are reasonable, and while the food is simple, it complements the setting perfectly. Highly recommend discovering this place!

Trendy brasserie with great food. Service was amazing and the space has very cool vibes, it used to be a banana storage hangar, now filled with vintage furniture and peculiar lamps. Music is loud, so di take that into account if what you are looking for is a silent evening

Really unique, very spacious and nicely designed space. I heard that the letters on the restroom were given by Bozar - really cool if that is the case! The food is balanced and healthy and the portions hit the sweet spot. I tried picanha and chicken, both were good. The fish was a little on the drier side, not sure I would recommend it, but all other dishes are good. Highly recommend aubergine miso as a starter, such a treat!

We loved this place Unique decor, nice ambiance , good service The food was very delicious For the main plate there was some problem and they brought it longer that expected but they offered us some drinks. Strongly advise to visit and I’ll do it myself once in Bruxelles

This was a fantastic experience. The place looks amazing. From the moment you walk up to the restaurant to going to the toilet. It all looks great. The staff and food is also great. We went here, of course, because the place was owned by a brewery.. and the beer was also fantastic. This is definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone going to Brussels 👌

The restaurant was EXTREMELY warm and food definitely one of the best tried in the city. Our waiter was very kind and able to suggest the food and beers. The only Downside, in our opinion is the time required between one plate and the other and from ordering to having the first plate in the table (clearly not waiter fault). Definitely suggested and will definitely come back

The place and atmosphere is amazing, but their kitchen is insanely slow..waited longer than an hour..the waiter did his best and kept informing us all the time.. but the kitchen was just too understaffed for the big location that it is..its better to just have a drink there, We areived at 21:45 and got our food from the picture served at 23:48, see screenshot

Beautiful place - one of a kind in Brussels! Great selection of beers, all particular (we had some fruiry & sour beers). Happy hour every day between 5-7 pm. Went on a Saturday without reservation at around 19:30 and we found a place - for later hours, a reservation might be required.
