Brussels Beer Guide: Top Breweries, Brilliant Restaurants and Gorgeous Hotels

"This former Art Nouveau banana warehouse, which now houses Brasserie Surréaliste, is worth a visit on its own, but you can also enjoy a brewery tour and occasionally musical performances. You’ll learn how Surréaliste is brewed, as well as discover the various IPAs that have made the brand famous. The house's design, created by Brussels artist Elzo Durst, is the cherry on top." - The MICHELIN Guide

For a cocktail or drink is a charming place and would recommend (even if you need to go order to the counter). However, I do not recommend - it is pricey for such a below average experience - given the extremely slow service.

The ambiance was very cozy, there was two guitarists playing live which made the experience even better. The staff members were friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty, make sure to try the corn ribs and cauliflower burger!

One of my favourite decors in Brussels ! The dishes were good , cocktails - I had Moscow mule which was served in a glass with cubed ice instead of crushed ice in a special mug, so it took away from the taste . Food does take longer to arrive , but it didn’t really bother us. Overall - will recommend !

What a gem of a brasserie! The décor is absolutely stunning—a perfect blend of antique, industrial, and chic. The spacious interior, with its beautiful wooden tables made from old factory pieces, feels both cozy and grand. The lighting is just right, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The prices are reasonable, and while the food is simple, it complements the setting perfectly. Highly recommend discovering this place!

Fun concept and interesting interior design. Excellent draft beers, all made in house. Beef carpaccio and chicken plat were the standouts - absolutely delicious.

A hidden gem in Brussels! The location is stunning, truly beautiful. The food is excellent and well-priced — definitely five stars! The only downside was the grilled rib-eye, which was unfortunately burnt on the outside and not really edible. I had to scrape and cut off the charred parts. But apart from that, all the other flavors were amazing!

Trendy place with good food. Nice local beers. Menu could have more meat choices for a Brasserie, but the food is very well done. Price is ok for this kind of restaurant. Our waiter, cannot remember her name was amazing.

A friend of mine in San Francisco recommended this place. Everything was perfect! I had steak with the sliced potatoes and a few beers and it was perfectly cooked and tasty. The host and server were very nice and accomodating and we loved the decor and atmosphere.
