The folks at Brassworks are a great team of people who really know what they're talking about. I purchased a wood-burning fireplace insert, and they were creative and flexible in helping me figure out exactly what was needed for my specific space, which presented a few challenges. Everyone I worked with -- primarily Luke, but certainly others along the way -- was responsive, knowledgeable, prompt, and friendly. Now I have a top-notch stove that I expect will improve my New England winters for years and years to come. Update: A year after purchasing my unit, I had to call Brassworks about a minor issue that had come up. Even though the store does not directly service wood stoves, they were able to provide me with much-needed guidance to point me in the right direction. And they even remembered me, which felt so nice! Five stars sustained.

If you are considering investing in a high quality fireplace, firepit, or grill, and you are unsure of what to buy and where to buy, take some time to visit Brassworks. Jeff is a rare and valuable combination of experience, patience and a general care, curiosity and passion for his client’s projects. We were working on our outdoor patio and thought we wanted an outdoor fireplace. After a visit to the showroom and a discussion with Jeff, he was able to help us realize what we really needed was a firepit vs. a fireplace. It was less expensive than our original plan and turned out amazing – exactly what we wanted. And yes, we poked around other places to buy because we like to be thorough. As expected, we experienced the typical response from these other places - not excited to help us and not very knowledgeable. So, felt good buying from Brassworks – they earned an appreciated our business. A month later, we had a question, and rather than a quick answer over the phone, Jeff volunteered to drive to our home, and came down on a Friday night after hours. We are thrilled with our experience and the results of our project. You will be too.

I have used Brassworks for two fireplaces in my home. Jeff Nelson is a very hands-on Proprietor with an extensive array of products and specialty customizations that I wanted, i.e. I needed to have painted a different color on the kitchen fireplace from black hardware to bronze in keeping with the colors....... this is why I'm all about customizing and its very hard to find people who can see what you are trying to create. I had a very collaborative experience with Brassworks. They not only saw what I envisioned, but gave me ideas to take that vision to its best conclusion. This is above and beyond a customer service that's hard to come by. I have now moved to NC and it just doesn't exist. Fireplaces are actually quite complicated to install for safety and each manufacturers installation specificity. In other words, anyone can sell you a fireplace, but can they install it properly. I have had to be in touch with Brassworks to help the places down here on how to install. Thank you Brassworks for still helping me.

We could not be more pleased with all of our experience with Brassworks Fine Home Details. We outfitted a new home in Rhode Island and purchased fireplaces and accessories as well as all the hardware from them. In addition, we have also made purchases in their Boston location. Susan in Boston and Mark, Andrew, and Sean in Providence are knowledgeable, responsive as well as help creatively solve challenges. In addition, their techs annually service our fireplace and they are outstanding as well. Highly recommend.

I contacted Sean asking if he could service my fireplace - he let me know promptly that it was a line that he did not work on so couldn't formally help, but over a series of interactions he helped me troubleshoot my problem and work to get my situation resolved, without ever asking for anything in return. He even filmed a video of how to do troubleshooting, which I was able to do. Unbelievably good service and character. So even though I didn't purchase anything from Brassworks, they have my full throated endorsement! Amazing.

I recently worked with Andrew with regard to having some work done at my house. Not only was he knowledgeable anbout all of the products, he had no problem voicing his opinion on what would be a good decision for me. Our gas logs are beautiful. Dania was super helpful in offering suggestions and guiding me through the process. Dania also introduced us to a wonderful plumber who installed our setoff us. Amazing, kind, and friendly service all around.

I had not used my gas fireplace in quite a while and forgot how to turn on the pilot and start the fireplace. So I called Brassworks where I bought the fireplace several years ago and spoke with Jeff who patiently guided me through the process. I'm not used to that level of customer service and it was much appreciated.
