"A popular stop for Chicagoans driving to Milwaukee, just across the state border on Interstate 94, the Brat Stop in Kenosha, Wisconsin has earned a reputation as part tourist trap (complete with a gift shop) and part nostalgic hang. Find the classic sausages piled with sauerkraut, red cabbage, or slaw. There are also smoked, veal, cheddar, and jalapeño options." - Ashok Selvam

We stopped here completely by accident! We got a flat tire on our way to Germantown, and got very hungry while waiting, so we went to Brat Stop on a recommendation. We love cheese, so we got the cheese curds appetizer, which never disappoints. I've never actually had Wisconsin cheese curds IN WISCONSIN, so this was a first for us. I liked them so much, I ordered the combo platter for my meal. Oh my God, the chicken strips are RIDICULOUSLY TASTY. I realize we're talking about chicken tenders here, but these were so good, I can't even believe all chicken strips don't taste that way. No dipping sauce needed, but they have several! The brat of the day was a cheese and bacon brat, and my husband loved it! You can tell this place really cares about flavor!! The wait staff was all very nice, and patient with our questions. The atmosphere was open, and seemed like a time capsule. They don't have to modernize, because that place has everything you need. The decor should never speak for the food, and Brat Stop knows how to focus on the food. That being said, everything was clean and comfortable. I recommend anyone to eat here.

The restaurant had a great family atmosphere. There were lots of families that stopped into dine and the food was really good. I look forward to coming back and trying the other brats on the menu.

If you're looking for a quintessential Wisconsin dining experience, this is it. You can catch a whiff of 50-year-old smoke sometimes. You can feel the history of the place and see the stage where bands like Cheap Trick and Styx have played. And you can enjoy some of the great foods we have to offer – fish, cheese curds, the best fries you've ever had, and plenty of good bread, beer, and more. Before I left the US in 2024, this was my last meal eating out in Wisconsin because it's a meal to remember.

Great stop for Brats, cheese curds, beer and a fun atmosphere for watching your favorite televised game! Very large place with areas for many activities! I wished I lived near so I could visit more often! Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area!

So, I was hungry for dinner. Seeing as I like to support local establishments, I decided on the Brat Stop. This was a good choice. Looking at the menu, i knew I was in for a good meal. It is simple - standard bar appetizers and brats. Sure, they have burgers and salads, but it isn't called the Burgers and Salads Stop, is it? I decided to get a 20-oz Spotted Cow for a drink, along with my standard two waters. For the app, I got the small cheese curds, and for my brats, I got the Two Brat Plate with the traditional and cheddarwurst. The drinks came out in a timely manner, and that beer went down so smoothly. Wow... The curds were out shortly thereafter, and they were delicious. Not too heavily breaded, and the ranch/dill dips were a great accompaniment. My brats came out right as I was finishing my curds, and they not only looked good, they tasted great! The traditional was a pretty solid Brat- spiced just right and had a decent amount of char. The cheddarwurst was full of cheese and tasty as well. The potato salad was creamy and the sauerkraut and grilled onions were the perfect consistency for toppings. Overall, it was a decent meal. When I'm in the area again, I'll be back!

Found this place by accident, was in town for work and wanted to bring home cheese curds. This came up in search and was amazing- deep fried curds and the best Brat I've ever had. Plus the vibe was super chill.

After Mars Cheese castle this is the spot to go to! Delicious food and amazing customer service. The cheese curds were delicious! The brats were really amazing. We did a Jeep take over & had a blast! Thank you :)

I've never fired up a grill, without putting brats on it, since I've been an adult. I'm a simple man when it comes to brats; grilled with mustard. However . . . . Maybe I need to be a bit more adventurous. Brat Stop brats are BY FAR the best brats I've ever had. The atmosphere is unbelievable. The service was delightful, and the brats were phenomenal. Any brat lover should drive to Kenosha just for the experience. I had the Smoke and Garlic and the weekly house special Garlic with pineapple and ham. I thought I would be disappointed but surprisingly wasn't. Great place.

Yelp
Weiners and Cheese are usually a bad mix, but not here at the Brat Stop! Brat in this case is short for Bratwurst, and they have a nice selection. I figured I'd try the Sausage Party (actual name) which was 1/4 of 7 different types of sausages. I felt like a Cannibalistic Snow White eating a part of each Dwarf. I wish the sausages in the sampler were labeled as I was only 100% sure on the Jalapeño Cheddar sausage, which was spicy! I think I had the garlic one identified too, but it could have been the cajun one. I'm not a sausage sommelier (yet) so apologies for not being able to tell. As much as I loved the Brats (and Bratz, but that's a different story), I will say the cheese takes the blue ribbon! I had two versions in the form of Fried Curds and Beer Cheese Soup. Both were excellent in completely different ways. I'd give the Soup the golden star as this liquid gold had the aroma of beer wafting up with each delicious spoonful. I'd probably get some pretzel bites or something which would go nicely with this. The curds were awesome and I just dipped in their golden brown mustard! Nothing special needed. There's also a store with some T-Shirts to remember your trip. Some display some good ol' ribaldry, but it's all good cheesy fun. It's right off the highway if you're traveling between Milwaukee and Chicago (I don't remember which highway). But plop it into your GPS and stop! If you have kids kicking and screaming in the back, tell them this restaurant is for them!

Yelp
We were on our way home from visiting family in Michigan. This was our first time at Brat Stop, but of course we had heard about it. I foolishly had a salad. It was good, but based on my husband's raves about his brat, I probably should have gotten a brat! We bought six frozen Cajun brats to bring home. WOW were they good!!! Very flavorful without being hot. I wish we could order online! Side note, we loved how wherever you sat you'd be able to see the Packer win!

Yelp
This is a must stop location in WI just over the boarder from IL. It is famous for its cheese curds, their brats, and their concerts! It is an eclectic location that has a bit of everything but they also have live music concerts that can get some pretty big names in here. I have been to several concerts here; the space is smaller and can really ROCK! The food is outstanding WI cuisine... you just can't go wrong with the different options. They also offer a pretty extensive beer and drink menu. This is not for the feint of heart, no vegans here, and you better be ready to party hardy at night time. This is a great location to cut loose, have some good comfort food, that will do nothing for your health, and listen to some choice music! If you're anywhere near this location I highly recommend stopping... it is a true slice of Americana that you just have to experience for yourself.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places to visit when we go up to Kenosha or Milwaukee. It's an old-school dive bar/restaurant. They have some great local beers on tap and the service is always good. There is a long winding bar in the center of the room. One of my favorite Meals is the sausage party which is a variety of their brats and sausages with red cabbage and sauerkraut.

Yelp
06/09/24 - We were up @ Holy Hill. On the way back we had to make our obligatory stop @ the Brat Stop in Kenosha. What would a trip be to cheddar land wo/stopping for a Brat & beer @ the Brat Stop. I was w/my wife& brother in law. We all had a brat. I ordered the garlic brat w/German potato salad & a Bluemoon beer. We all ordered the garlic brat. This was very good as was the beer but the German potato salad was good but a little too vinegary for my taste. As usual they were pretty busy. We were kind of pressed for time & our server was a little slow. I had to go up to the front to get my check.

Yelp
We met some friends at Brat Stop at 2:00 on a Saturday afternoon. We didn't have to wait for a table; we were seated near the stage. Four adults and two adult teens - we ordered Cheese Curds and Mini Italian Beef's as an appetizer. The Mini Italian Beef's were delicious. If I ever make it back to Brat Stop, I am ordering them as my meal. Both my kids ordered the chicken strips - one added fries the other added tots. My husband ordered the 2 Brat Plate, I had the Gobbler wrap with tots. Our friends ordered the Tony Sub and a burger. I also ordered a cheese soup to take home. My son, husband and our friends really enjoyed their meals. Unfortunately, my daughter gets migraines/seizures from flashing lights (there are flashing lights in the stage area) so we ended up having to sit in the car (we had our food boxed up). I had to run in and ask for a bag a few times (if you know, you know); the girl at the hostess stand was SUPER nice. We did eat our food the next day and it was very good. The cheese soup was AMAZING. I am not sure if we will be back... if we do go back, it will be without my teen daughter.

Yelp
Completely turned off. Today they held a so called charity for St. Baldrich's Charging $5 per person for a cover. My husband is a retired Cook county sheriff so they let us in for free. Not once did they mention the charity. When I went to talk to the bar tender about this at 10:00p.m. She made a mockery of me. I asked her if she ever lost a person to childhood cancer and she laughed. I was so put off. The Brat Stop was trying to profit off of a charity that they were not even promoting. The band they had only mentioned the charity because my husband and I had mentioned they were collecting money for the charity and not mentioning it. I will never go back to the Brat Stop because of this. How can you use a childhood cancer charity only for your own gain. Well let me tell you, karma is a bitch and she has a good memory.

Yelp
It's been decades since I've been here and I can't recall what I ate then. This time I wanted their cheese curds and their original brat with fries and sauerkraut. The fried cheese curds are made with white, or undyed, cheddar and are breaded just enough to give texture and still allow the cheese to be highlighted. I also got a decent cheese pull from one of the bigger curds. I liked the ranch and marinara. Not among the best I've had but pretty good, and I would get them again. The brat comes from Usingers, and it was great. I liked the seasoning Usingers uses. The bun that the brat was served on was probably the best sausage bun I've ever had. I should have asked which bakery made them. It was fresh and soft with a slight crisp, and it was perfectly sized for the brat to bun ratio. The fries were forgettable. Frozen battered (an unfortunate treatment of potatoes to make fries crispy) and bland fries. I should have tried the tater tots instead. The brat and cheese curds and service from Melissa were enough for 4 stars.

Hungry M.

Yelp
The positive, great service and the beer. The problem, the food other than the sausage. The so called homemade chili made with ground beef was prepared with little to no effort. The sides; German potato salad, braised red cabbage and sauerkraut lacked flavor and taste not to mention, served like warm. The retail side was greatly overpriced and underwhelming. Such a bitter disappointment.

Kayleen H.

Yelp
Top tier brats and we loved the BSBLT. The BLT legit has 6 pieces of bacon. A fun atmosphere. Don't leave without trying the fried cheese curds. We stopped in the gift shop on our way out. Don't miss it...it's a slice of Americana. We bought some homemade caramels for the road. The kids loved them.

Yelp
An interesting spot which makes it a place to stop and try at least once! The outside doesn't look like much, but the inside is huge, with tons of seating on two floors. There is huge bar with lots of on-tap options, along with a full bar. Multiple screens make this a good spot to watch a game, plus there is video gambling, pinball and other games. The Brat Stop offers live music, trivia night, moonshine tastings, volleyball, golf and pinball leagues, cheese shop, banquet hall, take out menu and a variety of events that serve and benefit the community. While this is not a fancy establishment by any stretch, in fact it's a bit outdated, it is a fun atmosphere and family friendly. We stopped in on a Sunday night, and it was not busy at all. We opted to sit at the bar, and while it took a minute to be noticed, when we were the service was good. My husband and I both ordered the "Smoooookin'" brat. He had his with tots and coleslaw and I ordered fries and sauerkraut. The brats were very good, with a nice char, both the tots and fries were hot and crispy, the coleslaw had a great consistency and good flavor, and the saurekraut was truly the best I've ever had. When I asked our server about it, commenting that it didn't taste like it came out of a jar, she told me that the restaurant orders their kraut but finishes it in house. This is most likely why it was crisp and not soggy and tangy but not sour. If you're passing through, The Brat Stop is a conveniently easy-on/easy-off place to grab a beer and a brat. It's an experience!

Ann H.

Yelp
Our coach was determined we do a team dinner here and I'm so thankful for his recommendation! We ended up going twice - in one day! Wings are very meaty though I wish they had homemade sauce vs jarred. Pizza was delicious, a nice thin crust. They also have games to occupy the kids while you wait for a table and your meal. Can't go wrong with this place if you're coming from out of town.

Carl D.

Yelp
We came with a party of 10 for dinner on a Saturday. Our wait wasn't log and our server did an excellent job keeping up. Everyone who had requests to remove items from the order (like onions) was done correctly and service was timely. I had the prime rib sandwich which was very good and filling however for a sandwich they should trim the fat off. My wife had the Gyro and said she would order it again.

Eric F.

Yelp
I have been to the Brat Stop four dozen times. I was my favorite "Go-To" place for a decade and a half when I worked at the Bristol Renaissance Faire just a few miles south. I could write a HUGE Review about this place, but I won't. Anyone in southern Wisconsin or Northern Illinois already knows all about it. What I will say is that the Brats are not Sheboygan style (gritty brown-grey ground pork), nor are they standard packaged style (solid like a rock). The bratwurst at Brat Stop are lite and fluffy and nearly white, a mike of pork and veal akin to Bavarian "Weißwurst". They are steamed and then flamed grilled, and they are GREAT. In their own words, the sign on Brat Stop says: "Welcome to The World Famous Brat Stop, making Wisconsin Legendary since 1961. Owner and founder Gerald Rasmussen was only 18 when he purchased the original 8 stool bar and cheese shop from his parents. Just 5 minutes from the Wisconsin/Illinois border the Brat Stop serves as your official, "Welcome" and, "See you next time" to the state of Wisconsin." Good beer is also available here, so drink lots of frosty steins. It makes driving better. Also, the space here is extra large, so there are lots of games to entertain you while you're trying to sober up. Brat Stop is an iconic establishment in southern Wisconsin that everyone passing through the area should visit. Enjoy!

Yelp
Just a great place to eat, drink like an adult, hang out, listen to live music, play darts, pool, and even damn volleyball! The staff are great too!!!!

Jesse N.

Yelp
It's not gourmet but it's also not prison food. If comfort food ran off with bar food, they would create these foods . The place is dated and dark. There is quite a bit going on. I lost my thought quite a bit and had to restart my conversation. The staff is friendly and helpful. It was a good experience.

Andy R.

Yelp
One of three pizza places open on Thanksgiving. Actually pretty great pizza and they were quick in getting it out to me. Been here before for the bar, school reunions, etc.. the place is a Kenosha staple. Not much more to say about it. Long may you serve your tasty encased meats.

Becky L.

Yelp
Not much has changed since I was little. The vibe is still very Wisconsin and there are a lot of regulars and visitors to the area. They still have their gift shop if you need to grab merch, beer or cheese for a trip. Also, plenty of games (pinball, driving, etc) throughout the space. The menu is surprisingly large for this bar, and someone recommended to not veer too far away from the staples like brats and burgers. Happy I stuck to that. The cheddarwurst was excellent! The tots were not good though - very greasy. The pizza was okay - very saucy, almost too much. The apps were good - liked the curds lot! Our server helped our large group and was a rockstar (thanks, Corissa). Everyone got what they wanted quickly and she even anticipated needs by refilling soda, water, etc. All in all, a good experience. Recommend if you're in the area!

Warren M.

Yelp
A lovely place. In addition to brats, they have a tremendous selection of cheeses. There are many many souvenirs to get. I purchased mine to go, but it appears they have a huge area for meeting and eating. There is a large bar area... there is much more... I like the place and went back. Given the opportunity, I will be back again.

Lynn M.

Yelp
The Brat Stop is a fun piece of historical dining near the Wisconsin Illinois border. They have a bar, stage, beer garden and large cheese, beer and wine gift shop. They boast their famous brats. We had a cheddar brat today, and it did not disappoint. The German potato salad side was okay. I also ordered a chicken chopped salad. I would have liked it to have been actually "chopped." I have been here a few times in the past. If you are looking for tasty bar food and brats, this is your place! Our server was friendly and attentive. On a busy sports day, this place is rocking. Today, it was still a busy lunch hour, as it is a popular stop.

Oliver Y.

Yelp
Swing by the brat stop after a afternoon of outlet shopping. Ended up ordering the Italian beef w/ mozzarella (with tats) and ham slam sub (with German potato salad). The beef did need alittle of the juice, the toasted bread was good. The ham lam sub was good but the Mayo/Dijon mustard made it even better. Wait staff was great, beer was got half empty of warm. (Watch your step!) Main bar area was packed with cub fans (sorry brewer fan.) Played some play tabs (you cash those with the bartender) "Ask me about my wiener"

Andrew J.

Yelp
This was my first time here! It's apparently very popular and I'm guessing because of its convenient location right off the interstate. I met an old friend here for lunch. They have a bar, gift shop and then plenty of seating for dining. This is the perfect spot to bring a group of friends to watch a game. Their menu is not huge but it had a good amount of selections including their infamous brats. The bathrooms were clean. The entire place has an odor, though. It's like the smell of an older building. It's not totally off putting but you can easily smell it in the air. I HATE that smell. Our server was wonderful. She had a friendly demeanor, she was efficient and helpful. We both decided to get the Polish-Wurst as our server recommended. This thing was ridiculously good (see attached picture). It was cooked just right. The grilled onions were heaven. I don't know if I've ever had a brat that tastes better than that one. French fries were also outstanding. Crispy, flavorful, crunchy, yummy! They also give you a small cup of cole slaw and a pickle. The cole slaw was delicious as well. It was similar to KFC with a sweet, tangy taste. I loved everything I ate! I also REALLY appreciate the fact that they had other diet soda options instead of just diet coke. I got a diet 7-Up. The prices are reasonable. Both brats totaled just over $40 bucks which isn't bad. I would definitely come back here for a different brat. The staff was kind, we were served fast and the food was delicious. The only reason for removing a star is that smell. Otherwise, I highly recommend!

Jodi W.

Yelp
Love this place for brats and beers! Always stop on our way from Madison to Chicago. You'll love it!

Kate M.

Yelp
We sure were lucky that when we were in town to see family that our hotel was right next to the Brat Stop!! We were there for two nights but made multiple trips to the Brat Stop. We had an amazing breakfast there, which is served everyday thankfully. And in the evenings we went to enjoy some local craft beers and hear live music. We had so much fun there and the staff was SO nice. If I lived in Kenosha this would be the place that we would go to the most!!

Wayne P.

Yelp
It's been a little bit of time since I've been here, but I will say I was not impressed with my experience with their brats. I guess I'm spoiled when it comes to my father-in-law's cooking. The atmosphere and vibes are pretty cool. Next time I come in, I plan to watch a band so I can get the full experience of the potential that this place offers. My experiences with the staff were pleasant, as they were very friendly.

Diana G.

Yelp
My favorite place when hard to decide where to eat. Loved it 20 years ago and still do. So different from most local bars. So much to see anywhere you look and the brats are my favorite. Local and family owned is why I return. No where else like it!

Cheri B.

Yelp
Found this "little" gem while visiting family on a quick weekend trip to WI/IL from TX. Being in Texas means we don't get a lot of northern food (brats, Italian beef, pizza puffs, etc) so when I saw the name, I knew we had to go. Hubby had their daily brat special which included a brat wrapped in bacon and deep fried and then covered with cheese sauce accompanied by French fries. Brat was a good sized bratwurst with nice flavor and juicy on a fresh airy roll. Small bowl of fresh made sauerkraut...AH-mazing! I literally ate that right out of the bowl with nothing else...great pucker and tang. I had the pressure fried chicken (broasted) with French fries and cole slaw. Woah!!! Such flavor and juice...I've had it two other times at other places and this was the best HANDS DOWN! Anytime we're here from Texas, this is a MUST! The slaw was not fresh made but still had a nice savory, slightly sweet taste. Service was top notch. He knew we were new to the establishment and took great care of us. Ambiance was fun! Lots of TVs, music, etc. Gift store to purchase some of their original foods, cheeses, shirts, cheesehead gear, etc.

Dan M.

Yelp
This was a large place with a store attached to it. There were a bunch of televisions present throughout the establishment with plenty of sports memorabilia and pictures hanging as well. This was a perfect place to catch a game. The huge menu had something for everybody. The deep-fried cheese curds (8 oz. for 9.99) were ordered to start. They came with marinara and ranch. These were very tasty. The cheese was stretchy, and the outer layer had a perfect crisp to them. The double sausage party ($29.99) was ordered for the main portion of the meal. It consisted of tastings of traditional, veal, Cajun, garlic, cheddar jalapeno, and polish brats. It was also served with cabbage, kraut, pickles, tomatoes, and crackers. An order of tater tots ($3.99) was also eaten, and they were solid. Each flavor of brat seemed to be 1 whole one. The cheddar jalapeno was definitely my favorite. The cheese inside along with a hint of spice from the jalapeno really made for an appetizing bite. All of the brats were grilled ideally while the kraut and cabbage added another element when combined with them. Will I go back? Easily.

Jim S.

Yelp
Food was very good and service was quick and accurate. The beef sandwich could have come with more AuJus but it worked out okay.

Jason J.

Yelp
This will be no surprise to anyone who has ever stepped into the Brat Stop. It is the quintessential Wisconsin dining experience, if you love simple food done the Wisconsin way. First it's huge and has a lot going on. It's a restaurant, arcade, store and bar all rolled into one. The food is really the star of the show though, and with a name like the Brat Stop you simply must get a brat and they have many to choose from. The cheddar jalapeño brat was exactly how it sounds cheesy and spicy and cooked perfectly. Our waitress was great, gave us recommendations and was on top of it even though she was running between multiple tables. We also had cheese curds which were amazing, and I had the chili which was a great blend of spicy and meaty. My friend had the beer cheese soup which he really enjoyed. We were also there on trivia night which we participated in and actually won a gift card to come back and get more delicious food. It s an over the top snippet of the typical Wisconsin bar and grill and it hits on every mark. I will be going back with my gift card to have another one of the best brats I've ever had for sure.

Diane M.

Yelp
What a great place! Fun atmosphere for game day, good bloody marys, brats, and the service was fantastic.

Renata S.

Yelp
Service is great Food is delicious Atmosphere is really nice, you can have conversations with no overwhelming noise in background

Jodi K.

Yelp
Where have you been my whole life!!!! It was recommended from my sister in law and she didn't disappoint. The polish, the BOW, the original and smoookin garlic were all amazing. The service was perfect, she was on it! Not to mention, they had darts, slots, big tvs, and SHOPPING! All my favorite things wrapped into one restaurant off the highway!

Connor B.

Yelp
Interesting spot off the road in Kenosha. Typical bar food selection. I was hoping that the bratz would be better but overall, it was fine. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, but definitely if I lived in the area I would swing by for a beer and some food.

Scott C.

Yelp
This place is...an experience. That may sound negative, but it most assuredly is not. When you first pull into the parking lot, you think it might be a typical restaurant. But, when you step inside, your mind immediately goes to "sports bar". It isn't quite either. It's huge. The place just seems to go on and on. We were there on a Saturday afternoon, so it wasn't too busy, but I hear that at peak times, they really pack them in there. Plus, they apparently have theme nights of different events and the space for it. The menu is wide and varied. But, the place is called "the Brat Stop", so the biggest portion of it is dedicated to...well...brats. So. Many. Different. Types. Of. Brats. My wife and I both availed ourselves of one of the dishes that allowed you to pick a variety of types of brats. What I received was incredible. So flavorful. So much goodness. Juicy in just the right way. I thoroughly enjoyed. The sides were generous in portion and also very tasty. The server was attentive, but not overbearing, just as I want. They got a great tip. Seriously, if you have any interest in brats, you need to visit here. It's not going to be what you expect, but you are not going to regret it!

Jose C.

Yelp
The Brat Stop looks very inviting from the outside. You're in Wisconsin, it ha big CHEESE letters on the roof and they sell brats. I didn't eat here, but it seem busy. In the retail store, you can buy cheese curds and brats. I made the mistake and bought some curds from here, to find out later that they're a lot cheaper across the street in Woodmans. I try and support local vendors, but won't be if their prices are too high.

Chris L.

Yelp
I actually like this place. Good music, good beer selection, food is Wisconsin. It's a tourist trap in a way. But people like it. You will see the finest assortments of mullets during concerts. They get good bands. It's a Kenoha Staple. Only complaint: Super dark in the bar.

Daniel L.

Yelp
I only got here once back in 2019 and I really hope on day I can make it back here. A buddy of mine and I were making a swing through Chicago, Milwaukee, Minnesota, Dyersville and then back to Chicago for a week. Our first natural reaction was "As soon as we get to Milwaukee, we need cheese and beer" and sure enough... there was the big CHEESE sign along the highway. Next thing we knew, we ended up in a place call the Brat Stop and it wasn't just cheese! We walk in there and its a bar, with enough TVs to watch a lot of sports, a shop on the side for souvenirs and to top it all off, a stage where apparently a lot of live music has been held. This place was like heave to us and the only regret we had was that we didn't look this up sooner to get to a time when there was a live music event. We of course ordered the cheese curds, and they came out fantastic. The waitress that served us was amazing too, making some recommendations off the menu for some of the other items. We wish we had longer to stay but as it is, we had a time constraint.

Shawn M.

Yelp
Typical Wisconsin bar. Good food and huge seating area. Brat is my go to. I have only been during lunch time. I believe they have live music ? Was a spot that was first to open during Covid. They

Yelp
If you are into a kitschy eating experience this is your place. Not much a has changed around here since they opened including the carpet on the walls of the booths and the lights on the ceilings in the stage area, or the retro space job on the ceiling. The food is great, the service is friendly, the beer and beverages flow and there is even a shop in the back where you buy some cheese, brats, sweatshirts or postcards to commemorate the journey. Must try's include he Merkts Cheese sauce on your fries, the brats of course - to go with it some Spotted Cow or a Sprecher's Soda. Yum!!!

Yelp
At first glance, this is one of the most confusing establishments I've ever visited. They have SO MUCH going on. Volleyball, gift shop, bar, restaurant, outdoor buildings, and of course Brats. While it was confusing at first, every part of the establishment I visited made me love it a little bit more. There's so much WISCONSIN to visit in this place. We tried several of the brats on the menu and each one was very good. Paired with an ice cold draft beer makes this the perfect combination. We were very impressed with their ability to make a brat even more delicious than usual. Be aware that the tourists and locals both love this place so it is almost always packed! Highly recommended!

Yelp
Just ok . I don't understand the swarms of people waiting. Maybe when there is a band playing, in the afternoon 3/5.

Yelp
Had the cheese curds and ordered 2 brats for $16.99 deal. Did a Smoookin and a OG brat. All very good. Nice atmosphere and waitresses were on point. And the diet coke for some reason was good. Ha

Yelp
I used to stop in for lunch pretty often on business trips. Really good brat platters, I suggest getting the 2 brat deal and mix em up. Service is very friendly. They have live music sometimes too. Beer for the adults but kid friendly. Hit up the shop after lunch for some brats and cheeses to take home.

Yelp
A trip to WI just isn't complete without stopping at The Brat Stop. Their known for their brats, but have so much more to offer. This is a wonderful place to gather with family or friend's. It's located just over the border 5 minutes from the Pleasant Prairie Outlet Mall.

Yelp
Food was excellent! We had a brat and the Friday fish fry. Both were delicious. Have good local microbrews. Service was cheerful and reasonably quick. Ambience is noisy sports bar.
