Bratsera Hotel

Such a beautiful hotel on beautiful Hydra! Bratsera has a very nice, welcoming, authentic ambience; it is an escape I am happy to recommend to anyone. Attentive service. Very generous breakfast with fresh, healthy, savory, sweet options. Perfect location at Hydra; very close to the harbour but just by entering the hotel you move into a state of calm. Hope to be back soon!

The service was perfect and the position but the suite Number 22 (although traditional) hadn’t got the simple amenities of a nowadays hotel. So paying so MUCH money for a room of 3 decade's old amenities without balcony, is really not worth. The hotel is dangeous for small children, if for example they open the old windows, they could fall down. Also the swimming pool was big enough.

This was my fourth time visiting Hydra, and I can honestly say that Bratsera Hotel stands out as one of the best accommodations on the island. From the moment we arrived, the team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The service was outstanding — warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Our room was spacious, stylish, and incredibly clean, with all the little details that make a difference. The breakfast was delicious — fresh, generous, and served in a beautiful setting that made every morning feel like a treat. The location couldn’t be better: tucked away just enough to enjoy peace and quiet, but only a short walk from the port and the main attractions. If you’re planning a trip to Hydra, don’t think twice — Bratsera is the place to stay. It made our experience truly unforgettable, and we’ll definitely be coming back!

A lovely hotel with clean, stylish rooms and a great staff. The courtyard and pool are wonderful places to relax and take it all in. The staff is exceptional. The bathroom was a little small, but it fits the character of the property. I would absolutely recommend this beautiful hotel to anyone.

Top dining We did not stay at the hotel, but we had our Easter lunch at the restaurant. The food and the service were excellent. The setting beautiful, very calm and relaxing. The attention received was impeccable. Thank you so much for a great experience. Recommended 100%

😊: The pool which is rare on hydra. The location.. 😢: I had to leave on first day. The manager had a dog roaming around and I have a severe dog phobia. Hotel is listed as no pets which is why I chose it. She argued with me and refused to keep the dog on a lead. I had to leave my son there and go stay at a hotel 3 times the price. She gave me a refund but it ruined my holiday staying at the other end of town on my own. Also before I left AC was poor as was shower..

I stayed at Bratsera Hotel for a birthday trip and arrived one day late due to a ferry strike on May 1st — something the hotel knew about in advance but never warned guests about. When I kindly asked for a refund or credit for the missed night, they offered only a dinner I couldn’t use since had to attend a birthday. Manager was completely inflexible when I asked for alternatives. The hotel is clean and peaceful, but attention to detail was lacking — the welcome drink we didn’t touch was left in the room for two days. A beautiful setting, but disappointing service and poor communication. I won’t return and I won`t reccomend.

This is an outstanding hotel, the staff were lovely and extremely helpful, the ambience is chilled, the breakfast was excellent, the room was very comfortable and the location was perfect. We had dinner one night at that was extremely tasty also. It also has a pool. If you want to stay on Hydra you can't go wrong with staying at this hotel. Highly recommended.
