Recommended by our sales agents, we arrived late, so discovered early the following morning. Part of the Aying Brewery, the hotel is nice and the community is rural. Had a nice walk in the morning. Breakfast was nice and the waiter very attentive.

Fantastic property! The breakfast each morning was delicious, staff was friendly, and the rooms were well decorated and spacious. A group of 8 of us stayed here during Oktoberfest. My group agreed we would stay there again. The front desk staff was friendly and they do speak English. Your room even comes with delicious beer from the Aying brewery. The hotel can arrange a tour at the brewery (a 5 minute walk) for you. They have an upscale restaurant at the location. It’s a 10 minute walk from the train (30 minute ride to Munich). The town is very safe & everyone we encountered was friendly. I highly recommend it! ||An important thing to note is that there is no air conditioning or overhead fans in the room.

Lovely hotel - classic appearance with modern amenities. Fantastic breakfast. I'll be staying there again if I'm in the region.

This is the very best of Bavarian hospitality. I first came here 10 years ago for a wedding and always wanted to show the hotel to my wife. We spent two nights, including a wonderful 7-course dinner in their fine dining restaurant. The service is impeccable, the rooms spacious and beautifully decorated, and the surroundings stunning. Best of all: the beer!

I have visited this wonderful hotel 5 times and will keep coming back because it’s simply superb. It’s an absolutely classic Bavarian masterpiece. The setting is incredible. The hotel is plush and eat-off-the floor spotless as well as posh without a hint of ostentatiousness. This place is worth a stay here without going anywhere else!! The staff is considerate, caring, friendly and thoroughly professional. Definitely“bucket list“ worth it!! W. Rohrbach

I had a delightful stay at Brauerei Gasthof in Aying during the summer of 2022. The ambiance of this quaint small village location was just perfect. The traditional Bavarian rooms added a charming and authentic touch to our visit. Dining at the on-premises restaurant was a pleasure, especially with its great terrace setting — perfect for enjoying a meal outdoors. The breakfast here set a new benchmark for all hotels, with a wide variety of delicious options. Above all, the staff was incredibly helpful and attentive, enhancing our experience even further. Highly recommend for a genuine Bavarian getaway!

Great place for some German food with a french twist. Many dishes felt like the cook was taught in a French star gastronomy hence a classy combination. We had a 5 course tasting menu and the service was over the top great. Very respectful , helpful nice and making it a great evening without stress! For the food : nothing was not tasting or bad. But rating on a high level - The soup lacked some flavour peaks and was quite flat. The fish was excellent and very nicely prepared. The meat inside the mushroom was good from consistency etc. But overall you could barely taste the meat more only the mushroom. For most dishes sauces were served only separately somehow I feel the food not always wins of this and having less but better attached to it could make it even tastier. Overall this sounds critical but it just shows the high level this place is already. The craftsmanship of the cooks and the team is clearly visible. 4/5 as it was good but it could have excelled even more. One sidenote we came 5 mins early and it was a bit weird to not be really greeted or received as everyone was busy preparing. I understand we were early but for the great place and the nice service later they could have done better.

Yelp
When I was in Germany on a business trip, I asked my coworker to take us out to dinner in a good traditional German restaurant. It seems that the city we were in was a small town and there weren't a lot of dinning options, unless we drive into the city (Munich). I was pretty tired with jet lag, so instead of a 45 minute drive, he suggested we come here instead. The restaurant is actually located inside a hotel. From the looks of it, it seemed like a pretty pricey joint. As we proceeded inside the restaurant, I noticed that most of the restaurant patrons were..shall we say elderly? They were dressed up real nice which made me feel kind of out of place since I was only wearing a t-shirt. The decoration seem nice and elegant, which explains the ages of the guest. But its nice to be dinning in a place like this once a while. The menus were in both German and English, however, I still have no idea which ones would be considered a traditional German dish. So I had to ask my coworker and he suggested I get the Spanferkel, or Suckling Pig. It sounded delicious and I was so glad I went with it. The dish had crispy skin on the outside, and inside the pork was cooked very nicely. It was juicy with a lot of flavors. And the sauce served with the dish was rich and yummy. As for the drinking choice for the evening, I had to go with ordering a beers while I am in Germany. The waiter suggested I go with their house brew beer Brau Weisse. As it turns out, the entire establishment is a family owned business. The same family who owns the hotel, also owns this restaurant and the beer brewery located on the same property. And the waiter said they paid a lot of attention to their business. They are constantly on the property managing their business. Sure enough, moments later a woman walked by our table, asked us about how's everything so far with a big smile. Even though I felt like I was dinning in some German grandparents dinning room, the food and service was excellent. The dishes we order might be a bit expensive by me, but i had a great time and enjoyed my dinner and beer a lot. And I was very glad to be able to experience some German culture.

Yelp
Wonderful. Just simply wonderful. The Brauereigasthof Aying has always been a great location with impeccable service and fantastic food. They had a beer sommelier for quite a while that helps you figuring out what of the fantastic (Family run) Ayinger brewery beers goes best with your dish. And now - for the last 6 months (approx) - they have a new chef that whips out even better food than the predecessor. WOW. Seriously impressed.

Yelp
The location is amazing, especially for a wedding. Church, if needed, possible venue and hotel all within walking distance. Price, state of rooms and cleanliness throughout is amazing and well worth it. Would come back 100%! Only reason for three stars is the service personell at the wedding reception. One lady, who, in her defense seemed young and new to the job, basically avoided all eye contact, would refill one glass and not anyone else's. One older waitress, (brown bob), was asked for water, didn't bring it, asked again, shrugged and shook her head. Eventually groaned and said "oh, you can tell I'm getting tired". First of all it was 9pm, secondly if you know you'll be working a wedding, 9pm is NOTHING and thirdly, surely that's not something you tell guests?! When reminded by my friend that I'd ordered vegetarian she just barked "well, people who ordered meat get it first, then vegetarians. That was her choice, so she'll have to wait!" "Our" bride and groom were so anxious, angry and stressed before we even got dessert because the wait staff seemed rude and we were two hours behind. I felt so bad for them. Overall a four course meal took 4+ hours, the midnight snack ran out before half the people had eaten and they refused to make more. If you do have your wedding there, I'd insist on more serving staff and better attitude. Having said that, the lady who seemed in charge of the team was AMAZING and was so accommodating, especially with kids.

Yelp
We stayed in this Hotel on a Wednesday night and we have booked one of the larger suites at the Ayinger Brauereigasthof, which don't get me wrong, is very luxurious and spacious, yet it upsets me to say that both location and staff have disappointed me in every possible way. We were placed in a room exactly above the lounge which was filled with hotel guests, loud subwoofer music that clearly shook every single piece of furniture, hotel guests were stumbling half drunk across hall ways at 2 am as if they owned the hotel and the smoke of cigarettes just kept coming and coming through the unsealed door. After explaining our situation and complaining twice to the concierge we were left with an apology and that they would take matters into their own hand. They clearly failed. How disappointing! In conclusion, we had a terrible night at this rather pricey hotel, and for anyone who does want to come, make sure you are not booked above the lounge room or otherwise you will witness probably every single discussion from the room below. I certainly will not attend this hotel again.
