Love the Sunday specials here. Got a half-priced peach mimosa and some fish and chips while my husband got a bread bowl of clam chowder soup and the pub sandwich. Everything was SO delicious and the service was amazing, too. The interior is so huge and cozy and the patio out back has tables that are perfectly shaded. ☘️

Great food and a great beer to compliment. Service felt rushed, I believe the server was at the end of her shift and we were her last table of the afternoon, she made us feel rushed as if to hurry, so that she could leave. I noticed after we paid our check, she grabbed her coat and bag and walked out the door. But besides that, the food was delicious and brought out quickly. I would come back here and eat again.

Overall really good experiance. The food was absolutely delicious. We got their brie appetizer which I enjoyed however some parts seemed to be a little cold. wasn't sure if that was meant to be. But the taste was good. We also got fish n chips (small) and a boxty . it was so good and yummy really fresh. You get a lot of food! Our service was pretty good. Was a little slow getting food after we ordered but worth the wait. We will definitely be back to visit.

If you come at the right time, the happy hour can definitely save you some money. The food is good, but the atmosphere will definitely lighten up your day; they have live Irish music. If you’re in town, I highly recommend you come and try.

Brazen Head Irish Pub delivers a mixed bag of experiences, but overall, it's a solid spot for drinks and a few standout bites. Having visited twice in a week and spent over $200 on food, I found that some items were excellent, while others missed the mark. As an Irish pub, it shines when it comes to drinks-Guinness on tap, proper Irish beer and whiskey selections, and even the ability to get a proper float. The service is friendly and fast, and the place is clean, which adds to the welcoming atmosphere. The highlights of the menu include the spicy cheese curds, crispy onion rings, and the rich bread pudding. The Reuben is also worth mentioning, with well-balanced portions of corned beef, kraut, and sauce, all on perfectly toasted rye. The Celtic burger and coleslaw were also enjoyable. However, not everything was up to par. The clam chowder lacked filling and was mostly liquid. The fish was soggy and I couldn’t finish it, let alone take it home. The roasted beef on the pub sandwich was dry and lacked flavor, ultimately removed to finish the sandwich. The red (jerk?) sauce served with the tenders didn’t work for me it didn’t have the right balance of flavor and was a bit off. All things considered, I would recommend Brazen Head for a visit. The drinks, some of the food items, and the overall atmosphere make it worth trying out

I was so excited to stop here for my birthday lunch. I’ve been here a few times and loved it…however, this time it fell short. I ordered the French onion soup and while it tasted great, the consistency was much thinner than it usually is and it had little to no onions. The spinach artichoke dip tasted off and had a grainy texture, so we sent it back and got the Rueben nachos instead. They were good. Not even an hour after our meal, I started having stomach pains and vomiting. I’m pretty sure I ended up with food poisoning. What a rotten way to spend a birthday!

This place is Fantastic! Quick, friendly service with a smile. Food is wonderfully prepared and served piping hot, as it should be. We will be back!

A colleague and I really enjoyed ourselves here. Very friendly bartenders and the food was very tasty. Strong drinks and friendly atmosphere. It was late in the afternoon so it wasn't too busy so I cannot tell you how busy it gets a night but is awesome as this place was I can only guess it's very full when the evening hours hit. When in Omaha a definite must see

I was craving a Rueben for lunch. It has been said that the Brazen Head had good one. Pretty neat Irish pub decor, we seated ourselves and a server brought water quickly. We went with the artichoke cheese dip as a starter and I ordered a Guinness from the bar. Our server was busy as can be, but took our order. We went with the fish and chips, the Rueben with coleslaw and the onion soup. I wanted this to be good and a small part of it was. My beer could not have been poured any better. I am certain of that. The artichoke cheese dip was basically just cheese dip, disappointing. The Rueben tasted good, real good although the portion was a bit smaller than I expected, it still tasted amazing. The coleslaw was gritty, I still ate it. The fish looked delicious and well prepared, it was hot and the fries were too. The breading on the fish tasted great, but the fish was bland and not flaky at all. It was soft and mushy. The fries were perfect. The soup came after we were finished with our lunch. I had no idea that a cup of onion soup could be so good. It was the star of our lunch. Very impressive soup and I would eat that everyday if I could. Maybe they were having a bad day? Maybe my expectations were too high? I'd be open to a redo at Brazen Head Pub.

We stopped into The Brazen Head before heading to a show at the Omaha Community Playhouse. It had been a while since our last visit, but it felt good to be back. We found our own seats and were greeted right away. That's always a good sign! Drinks came out fast: waters, sodas, and tea. It's a Pepsi joint, but they've got Diet Mountain Dew on tap, which honestly deserves a small round of applause. Happy hour was still going, so naturally, we had to order a couple of appetizers. The Jamaican jerk wings were perfect: hot, fresh, and full of flavor. No complaints there! The cheesy artichoke dip was tasty but a little thick and on the cooler side. The place was getting busy, so we decided to just go with the flow and enjoy. For dinner, I went with the creamy onion soup, and my husband had the Dub Linn Stew in a bread bowl. My soup hit the spot, and since it was buy one, get one 50% off, I grabbed another to take home for lunch the next day. The stew looked great, though maybe a bit smaller than we remembered. All in all, we had a cozy meal in a charming Irish pub that still holds up after all these years. A great spot to warm up, fill up, and kick off a fun night out!

Great food, inviting strip mall pub atmosphere that's better than expected. Service was surprisingly good considering the lunch rush. Food was very good, vegetarian options.

Enjoyed the Irish Pub atmosphere, fun things to look at on the walls. We just stopped for a cocktail and my espresso martini was good.

Stop in for lunch. They were super busy and appeared to only have two waiters. The waiters did a very good job of keeping up and they were very friendly. Came specifically for the creamy onion soup which is so good. You actually get chunks of melted cheese with each spoonful so it is a bit rich, but oh so good. The large croutons on top become chewy in a really good way. Piping hot and a delicious treat once in a while.

We tried stopping in with a larger group for some drinks Saturday night. We were celebrating a birthday and the birthday girl wanted a Guinness they aren't familiar with Omaha and stopped in. Our group was pretty rudely turned away stating they aren't a bar and we can't sit/stand around their bar area. Seems like bad business when you could've sold a drink to 10ish people and been gone but they acted like we were a huge inconvenience for their night. It wasn't super busy of anything either. Anyways don't expect to be able to drink at the bar they have if you stop in here. Very disappointing and odd experience to say the least.

My family adores Brazen Head. That being said, the prices have gone up quite bit. Most of the items are all several dollars more each now, and the dishes that used to come with soup no longer come with soup. You have to order the soup separately and it's $5 for a cup. The sandwiches no longer come with fries, they now come with chips. You can change it back to fries if you want for $1 more. Prices have gone up everywhere, this is true, but it cost my family of 4 an additional $40 the last time we were in for the same order that we always get. $3-$4 per entree plus another $5 per soup and suddenly we are paying quite a bit more. The food quality is still fantastic, the service can be a bit hit and miss, depending on your server. The prices though, they really got us. We just can't afford to do it unless it's a special occasion anymore.

I've been going to Brazen Head for almost 20 years! Always received great service, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the food is delicious. My favorite sandwich for the last five or so years is the prime minister's prime rib sandwich but it this economy, we'll have to save it for special occasions. I ordered a burger and my husband ordered the stew. Aside from my aunts recipe (she makes a whiskey sauce) I'll only eat bread pudding here. It's not overly sweet and the bread isn't super mushy.

This pub is clearly a staple for its area. We've been here several times and it's always filled with of happy patrons. The service is prompt and friendly, the environment is clean and inviting, as a pub should be. Naturally, there is a plentiful variety of beers and whiskeys. There also other drinks for those who don't favor beers and whiskeys. My wife is such, and is always pleased. I was delighted. The food is delicious, if you seek pub fare. If you're fancy, you'll suffer and that's for the best. Their pub dishes have always suited and satisfied. We enjoy them greatly. It's a large location, and it's surprising to find them overfilled, but it does happen. We go early on a weekend to avoid such chaos. YMMV. We will absolutely return.

Always a great time! We came for St. Patrick's day and it did not disappoint. The prices are fair and the food was delicious. The Irish stew was so rich and flavorful. The Rueben was tender and tasty!! I loved their selection of spring cocktails on top of their already huge drink menu. This place has every classic Irish drink and dish you can think of. The inside is beautiful and interesting. There's always something new to discover inside. The staff is friendly and quick. I want to come back for their bottomless mimosas they do on Sundays for $15

i made the mistake of coming to THE Irish pub on St. Pasdy's day. By the time I arrived, they were out of food, and had a limited supply good Irish Whiskey. Katie - the manager - invited me back...and I finally made it. i started with a Teeling - if you have never had a goodn Irish Whiskey, this is definitely one to try. i prefer it with two small ice cubes. Their onion soup.... amazing. I actually prefer it over French Onion Soup. It was very creamy and just ...perfect. I wanted to lick the bowl... The Boxty was highly recommended, so i went with the Ruben, with a side of Kraut. (Yes - i am a fan of sauerkraut with my corned beef.) It did not disappoint. It was kinda like a ruben taco with mashed potatoes. The perfect Irish dish. It was well proportioned, and the perfect size. the corned beef was thinly sliced and layered inside the pancake with swiss, and sauerkraut. Delicious and highly recommended.

Haven't been here in years. LOVED all the happy hour choices. We got chicken wings, chicken tenders and spicy cheese curds. Everything came out hot and fresh and tasty! I'm picky about my wings and these were done right. The chicken tenders are marinated in Jamaican jerk seasoning and served with sweet and sour sauce. Sounded different and we loved it! Great flavor combo! My husband thought the cheese curds were a bit spicy but I didn't. They were melt in your mouth. I love the atmosphere of this place. Exactly like the pubs in Ireland. Service was fast and friendly! We were very happy and will definitely be back soon!!!

Brazen Head is a staple for celebration dinners in our family. You just really can't go wrong with a draft irish beer and some fish and chips! Some other items they have that we really enjoy are the spicy cheese curds, the salads, and the various boxty options. Service is always great, and if you're lucky, you'll get to enjoy some live music!

Brazen Head has been in our rotation of places to dine at for years now, and it never gets old! The ambiance is super warm and homey, with comfy booths and little wooden tables around the center. The decor is filled with cute Irish signage like Jameson and Guinness advertising pieces and old photos. Their menu tells the story of their founding and how their bar was made in Ireland and shipped over, based on the oldest pub in Ireland, also called Brazen Head. (I have actually been to that pub in Ireland and I totally see the influence!) There is also another side of the establishment called the Robert Emmet Room, to use for events, parties, and overflow. I have have been there for both a private party and as overflow on St. Paddy's Day. It's a super cute space so take a look at that for your next party or event. The service is always absolute fabulous. Even when the place is super busy and bustling, the servers are always killing it with how often they check on you, give recommendations, and answer questions. Now, onto the most important part - the food! For starters and side items, our favorites are: -Baked Onion Soup: They have a soup du jour each day, but they have this Baked Onion Soup every day, and thank heavens they do. It's so ooey gooey and the perfect amount of slaty savoriness, with melty cheese on top. I always ask for extra bread or croutons with it to get a toothsome bite every once in a while by letting it soak in there. -Farmhouse Brie: This is just super fresh brie cheese, lightly breaded and fried. It's served with a bunch of little toasty bread points for spreading the brie on it, and then a little cup of Cumberland sauce (almost like a jelly). The sweetness of the sauce with the pungent bold flavor of the brie works perfectly. Entree-wise, my husband and I like to cycle between a few things that are our faves: -Fish and Chips: This is just a simple thing that a lot of places have on their menus, but it's a step above here because it's just done super well. Tasty beer breading, expertly fried (read: not too crispy!), and so tender and never overcooked. The tartar sauce is obviously homemade or at least sourced from a high quality manufacturer. The fries on the side are no throwaway either. They are crispy and salty, and never burned or even worse, limp and soggy. -Chicken Salad Sandwich: This is not available on the weekend menu, just during the weekday lunch hours, which is a shame because it is SO good. It's made of not-too-crunchy toast, slathered with mayo, and filled with a slightly sweet chicken salad (I think maybe there are grapes in the chicken salad that gives it the sweetness?) If you can make it here during the lunch hours during the week, definitely give this a try if you're a chicken salad fan! -Boxtys: These are always a good choice and there are so many flavors to pick from. A boxty is a potato pancake (almost an "omelette") filled with any combo of flavors to make the options you choose. My favorite is the Cordon Blue Boxty, which is full of Black Forest ham, Swiss cheese, chicken breast, and topped with the most divine cream sauce. Definitely ask for extra cream sauce because it's that good. -Rueben: My husband is a Reuben connoisseur, and maintains that this is the best in Omaha! It comes on a marble rye bread and is heaping with the fillings of corned beef, sauerkraut, havarti cheese and plenty of 1000 Island dressing. Again, something you can get a lot of places, but why do that when the best is here at the Brazen Head?! The atmosphere, service, and delicious food make Brazen Head a perfect 10.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Brazen Head. She had the cottage pie and I had fish and chips. The servings were generous, and the food was very tasty. Our server was also attentive and helpful. The setting is cozy and the made-in-Ireland bar is impressive. We will be back.

The best french onion soup in the world!! We go out of our way for it and stop every time we're in the area. If you look French onion soup you must try it. We've tried other things on the menu and they're great!! Always an awesome experiment here, staff is super friendly!

Always an amazing experience at Brazen Head. Have been here multiple times for Fish & Chips during Lent, and not Lent times for food with MEAT, haha. Everyone is always on point, food is always on point. Quick service and hot food! I've never seen Brie served like they do, it's a fun twist with the jelly too! One of the top places for Fish & Chips in Omaha. Get there early because during Lent it's hard to find a table for 2 at 5pm! Ambiance is a typical Irish pub, lots of wooden features and plenty of seating. Parking is complimentary in a lot out front!

Ate here the first night. The creamy onion soup was really good. I loved the seasoning! Not a traditional French onion with a coat of cheese, but there was cheese in it. I had the Reuben with it and it was really good. I didn't eat many chips bc I was full on my Reuben and soup. My coworker had the stew with mashed potatoes on top. She said it was delicious. The Galway bay fish and chips. They couldn't tell me if the fish was actually from Galway bay or where it was from, so I passed on that. It did look good though. Being from the east coast, I like to know where my seafood comes from. The atmosphere is cool. Wooden and feels a bit like you might be in Ireland. The staff were all friendly.

Great good and experienced. Dropped in with my girlfriend to try something different. Needless to say, no disappointment on our account. The good and service were top notch and appreciated the servers checking if all was satisfactory. I enjoyed the Banger & Mash, highly Irish and she had the Garden Boxty. Definitely looking forward to a Happy Hour.

Another solid lunch today. Bangers and mash today. Great deal for $11.99. Snow day in Omaha so it was not crowded at all. Great service and food was on par.

Saturday evening, the pub was about 70% full, and there seemed to be only three wait staff members. I have always liked the place. The food was generally good, and the beer was cold. Tonight, we had Onions Rings, which were good but overpriced at $10.99. You got six big rings and a few small rings. We split the 3-piece fish and chips. Unfortunately, the fish was a bit mushy, you would expect some firmness to the white fish. We guessed it was undercooked or wet. Anyhow, it was disappointing. (The table next to us asked us about the fish and chips and we told them) Overall, our server was okay, if not a bit hurried.

One of Omahas' finest and most authentic Irish pubs for sure! From a relaxed date night with fish & chips and live music to the revelries of St Paddy's Day, Brazenhead does not disappoint.

Looking for an Irish pub with great beers and PO-TAY-TOES? Look no further! Boxtys, bangers, beers...they have it all at Brazen Head! I've been a few times and never left disappointed (or hungry). I recommend the Toad in a Hole for a large meal (mashed potatoes inside a puff pastry topped with bangers and brown gravy sauce). If you're looking to just drink and have some snacks, the potato skins, onion rings and soup options are all great. They also have lots of sandwich options, as well as standard pub food. Have a Black and Tan, sit back, and relax!

Everything was perfect! The food, the ambiance, the staff and my favorite item of all, the creamy onion soup! They were kind enough to give us a copy of that recipe. I had the chicken pot pie and it was overflowing with potatoes and chicken. It was delicious!

The Brazen Head is a great place to hang out. The food is exquisitely wonderful The drinks are reasonably priced. I am now I have bad service at all and Brazen Head at all. I like it a lot my feeling is is it's the best place to go eat.

We like the fish and chips and Shepherd's Pie. They are capable of holding salt and make decent salads. We often come to hear the Irish music. Usually, the staff is friendly and helpful.

Food was fantastic. We had the Irish nachos, fish & chips, and the boxtys. All was wonderful. Best Irish food I have had in awhile.

Took great grandson for lunch today. Service and food were great. Never been there before but I'll put it on my must list. I'll be back next week.

A reservation was made and 7 of us gathered at Brazen Head for lunch. Our waitress was attentive, The food was plentiful and delicious. I got the chicken pot pie and brought more than half of it home with me. The person across from me intended to take half of hers home with her, but ended up eating it all so it was apparently very good. Everyone seemed happy with their meal.

Great fish & chips & good creamy onions soup. A cup was enough. My French dip tasted like old beef used.

The location is very cute and has a real pub feel. It looked like a lot of people were maybe regulars from the neighborhood too. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had their French dip which wasn't bad but could have been better. Maybe offering sautéed onions? Horseradish sauce? It was a basic slice of toast beef on a bun. The au jus dip had a good beef flavor.

The Brazen Head is a quaint pub/restaurant near Crossroads in Omaha. It was quite busy the other night given the upcoming St. Patrick's day, but overall, the service was reasonable given the number of customers on a Wednesday night. The beer offerings include a number of interesting mixes with Guinness. The food (just had appetizers and the brownie) were good, albeit nothing mind blowing. Overall a solid pub.

This was a fail. We went for happy hour what a disappointment. My friend wanted the stew. It comes in a bread bowl, she wanted it in a regular bowl. Nope, will not oblige. I don't know on what planet you can call those things Jamaican jerk wings, but to each his own I guess. The fish and chips, blarg!! Wow!! So greasy, the oil in the fish was nauseating. Fries were good. Beer was cold, other than that DON'T GO TO THERE!!!

Country cottage pie (shepherd's pie) was outstanding Service was great, helped us get a table for a large group. The dining area was clean, the atmosphere was comfortable and enjoyable, and the value wasn't bad. Overall, one of my favorite restaurants in Omaha!

Food was great! Kept expecting rugby songs to break out! SO loves the fish & chips, proclaimed them "Best in Omaha" on first try.

Everyone is SUPER friendly, the staff have lots of fun. Great drink menu, this either cocktail was my favorite. Clean environment. Love they have all the favorites on the menu but also try new dishes in the kitchen

I'm literally writing this while I'm still eating; been eating here for a years now. The Rachel Ruben is excellent, if not one of the best sandwiches hand down. Staff is awesome. Service is impeccable. I'd eat here everyday if I had the time.

Always GREAT food, service and atmosphere! Fish, boxtys, nachos ruebens, wings, salads, clam chowder, and Irish music on certain nights. The decor is Irish Pub and very welcoming.

Hidden gem! It's tucked into a strip mall, but don't let the exterior fool you. Once you open the door, you'll find a classic, charming, and surprisingly spacious Irish pub. Excellent food, unique beer selection, friendly patrons and staff. Terri and Lauren were awesome. We will be back soon!

I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant in Omaha, Nebraska. My mom and I visited on several occasions this summer and were never disappointed with the food or service. I will always cherish the time with my mom spent eating at this restaurant during a trying summer 2023.

Pro tip: get the artichoke dip! It is different but delicious!! We love all the food we've gotten here and love the atmospheres dedication to all things Irish. We had our engagement party here previously and it went so well. We love Brazen Head!

Visually, it's a treat -- but if you close your eyes, you could be in any American sports bar that plays obnoxious country pop music. The food is okay -- it's filling and has a good range of options for different diets, but it's too salty. The drinks are good. The service is great. If they paid more attention to the atmosphere, I'd be back more often.

We came here two nights in a row. It was good! I had the Seafood Boxty(did I spell the right?) then the second night we had happy hour and I had the fried Brie and wings. The baked onion soup is also legit!!! All really good. Good food, good service and the ambience was cool. Walking distance from our hotel so it was perfect! The prices are also reasonable. I'd recommend!

My car keeps bringing me to this place when I'm in Omaha. It is a great place for afternoon lunch with a drink.

It is long due I write something for Brazen Head Pub. This place is inspired in the OG one in Ireland and has copied its vibe to the best of its abilities. Big space! A lot of sitting and a warm feeling of the Irish glory surrounding the atmosphere and making every patron welcomed. They serve hefty portions in their meals and have a good variety of high quality bar food. I've been here countless times and, yes, sometimes its loud, sometimes the food may not hold when the place is overwhelmed but there's always something that keeps you satisfied. Highlights? Their Potato skins, Boxtys, their Brie, Fish and Chips and the Reuben (because Omaha!). I just wished they served a full Irish breakfast and this may easily be my second dining room! Not many pictures taken because their food is so good my brain just goes into feeding mode. Highly recommended!

Attended for lunch only too discover they had the best potato leak soup I've ever tasted I here the cream of onion is their soup everyday with a daily special including Wednesday 3.00 bowls Monday 5.00 cheeseburger! The ambience was great staff super friendly prices reasonable enjoy
