Great food made by people with big hearts! So much attention and thought behind the preparation of each dish. We love the salmon, the shrimp and the fried fish is amazing! Save room for some bean pie!

So glad that I found this place. One of the rare Black Owned restaurants in Charleston. Great food. Great customer service. I had the Seafood Rice today. Wow! Like, for real! Wow! I will definitely have it again! The staff was pleasant, and quickly explained how they would be handling this present situation with the COVID 19 parameters. I appreciated that. Look forward to experiencing more of the menu.

I am a regular at least two days a week. The food and customer service is phenomenal. I have never tasted a more perfect fried crab. The breading stays crunchy while remaining well seasoned. The garlic shrimp gives my taste buds life. You will enjoy anything you sample especially the seafood options, oxtails, and red rice- everything and anything the chef whips. Food is always fresh, deliciously made with love. I reccomend this place to everyone that asks for somewhere affordable, local, and just ol' feel good cooking.

I had the Seafood Rice and my sister had the Shrimp box. They both were great, lol. The husband and wife team were very nice and their customer service was awesome! We’ll definitely be going back again!

Excellent tasting fresh food at great prices. The salmon patties are the best in Charleston. The ox tails and fried fish are also on point. I haven't had anything there that I didn't like.

NEVER AGAIN. I ordered shrimp and oysters ($11.99)and a shrimp basket ($9.99) and my total came up to $30 and some change and the guy gave us a 10% first time discount 🙄, which brought our order to $27 and some change🤔. Being that I didn’t pay for it, that is not my issue. Nor did I have a problem with receiving 4 shrimp. My issue is the fact that the oysters smelled bad and were yellow and green on the inside. I do understand that it is not oyster season so I didn’t expect fresh out the creek oysters, but I do expect them to be fresh. When I took the oysters back CALMLY, the guy very aggressively told me there is nothing he can do since it was stated on the counter that they don’t provide refunds or exchanges. As a business, I feel as though if a customer does not like something they should be able to get something else instead. Unfortunately here they don’t care about the customer service. I would be cautious of what you order here as you will not receive a refund if you don’t like it. Btw...the one star is for the banging red rice.

Nice little neighborhood resturant with good authentic food. The restaurant is operated by a husband and wife which were very nice people. The food portions are tremendous, And very taststy. Monday they have this seafood platter to die for. It's like a crab boil but with there very own take on it.. they added 2 hard boiled cook eggs too the dish which to me very different. But you dip it into there 2 different sauces, outstanding well done.

On the weekdays on lunch break or to just eat for fun I would come to bread & butter. I never had a problem with my food and highly recommend anyone to come and eat there they make you feel like family. They also show all their customers with respect. So I gave them a five stars rating.
