I visited the Bread & Circus food truck at an event in Marymoor Park. Prices were high (not sure if that was normal or event pricing) and I wasn’t super impressed with the food. I got a burger, side of fries, and a can of soda. The fries were great! The burger was perfectly cooked but lacked any flavor. All I could taste was the potato bun. Maybe mine was a one-off and the burger missed getting seasoned? Either way, not sure I’d spend $23 again on this meal if other options were available.

Google
Great food, but really disappointing that they have recently bumped up all burger and sandwich menu items prices by $5. $38 for 2 burgers that don’t come with sides and a basket of fries. Below are the increase in prices

Google
PORK BELLY REUBEN and fries smoked pork belly, fried sauerkraut, swiss, 3 pepper cider aioli, marble rye. I ordered it without the sauerkraut. This sandwich as well as fries were very delish 😍 ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!! My friends who tried it with the sauerkraut loved it as well. I’m not giving it 5 stars because the service window area could be a bit cleaner but the staff were friendly. I’m definitely going back. This food truck was on Union Ave and 21st. I’ve only seen it here on Sundays.

Google
Today, I got to have the Circus Burger at an event sponsored at work and it was divine! I’m not really a burger fan because I find most patties have a charred/gas flavor to them, not to mention some burgers tend to be dry... but not this one! The aioli sauce was delicate and enhanced the overall flavor of the burger. I also loved the use of arugula and the pickled onion with the burger, and it was cooked well; not oozing, nor dry, nor uninspiring... I will definitely be dragging my family down to the Woods so that my husband can try their burgers too.

Google
We ate gnocchi and a 20 piece chicken tenders side orders. The gnocchi had WAY TOO MUCH garlic, and we like garlic, that came with a pasta sauce for dipping. We gave it a try and tossed it. The chicken tenders were overcooked, dried out and terribly salty. Perhaps it was an off day, we were there on a Sunday the day before July 4, our experience was; don't bother with the food. We didn't try any of the adult beverages and have nothing to say about them.

Google
Always such good food. The smash burger is a go-to for me! I also really liked the gnocchi- such a fun snack! Great menu, quality food, and speedy service.

Google
We are visiting from Atlanta and decided to get a burger and beer before hiking:).Seattle Cider Company we visited before and was extremely impressed with the craft beers 🍻. This time, bread and Circuses 🎪 were crafting burgers 🍔that day. OMG!!!!!!!!!! Amazing! This combination will satisfy a real foodie.!!!!

Naqi Khan

Google
The food truck serves $12 cheeseburgers, where the patty is sub-frozen-Costco grade and is way overcooked. Walk to any other burger place, it’s better than this at a better price point.

Yelp
Whoah. Happy accident. Hunting for cider in South Seattle and found a food truck gone rogue. Simple menu, amazing food, great prices, and they bring the food to you. How do they remember me? Do they put in the notes, "gray beard, mariners gear, looks stoned." The server brought out the food and it was incredible. Located inside "The Woods" there is seating inside and out. While the service was quick, the food was great. We tried the gnocchi tots and served with their homemade marinara. Yes...yes...YES. The fried chincken Sando was spot on and the jalapeño mayo was just enough spicy...but I should have gotten extra marinara to dip the sandwich in. Perfect in every way. Great job.

Yelp
We were inside The Woods at Seattle Cider Company and asked about available food to share with our cider flights and bartender Gus directed us to the service window for Bread and Circuses close by. We were greeted by the lone employee who was super nice and accommodating. We asked him to make the salad vegan and he was super cool about it. We ordered and shared the Seasonal Salad, Garlic Fries and Gnocchi Tots. By far, the Gnocchi Tots were our favorite. These unique dime sized gems were fried gently with a nice light batter and served with marinara dipping sauce. Absolutely awesome! The salad was cool and refreshing and the garlic fries were decent (gotta beat Grounders Garlic Fries at T-Mobile Park to win me over - a tall order!). We ordered additional sauce sides of Chipotle Ranch and Burger Sauce for dipping options. Overall, the food went well with our drinks and were perfect for sharing. I would love to try the burgers on a future visit. Great service and unique and tasty bar food at a delicious cider house. Good job Bread and Circuses!

Yelp
Tried this spot at one of my favorite breweries, two woods! Tasty bites that go well with beer :) Ordered: -Circus Burger ($11), Delicious and chock full of thick bacon on a potato bun. This is probably the only thing I would get again -Fries - Nice and hot and crispy, loved the sweetness in the ketchup -Wings ($12 for a pound) - these were okay, I guess I was expecting Korean style crispy fried chicken wings with a sticky sweet sauce, but these were just regular baked (?) wings in a savoury Gojuchang sauce. The ranch dip was sort of watery They did forget about my order and I had to remind them - which is fine since they three in some fries :)

Yelp
I've expressed this so many times, but I hate how nowadays burgers and fries are separate orders. Their burgers are pretty overpriced for food truck food, ranging from $12-14. I guess that's pretty standard now? The mushroom burger was good though. Fries were pretty standard. The kale salad, a great idea, but too much dressing in my opinion.

Yelp
For me, Bread and Circuses is all about the chicken. We come here to grab a couple of ciders, sit out on the patio, and enjoy a giant pile of chicken from B&C. It's a great value option to share with a group, and the staff is always friendly even when things get really busy. Definitely grab some food when you're in the area!

Yelp
Got to enjoy some burgers from the Bread and Circuses food truck outside the Ridgecrest Pub in Shoreline. Greta service, good pricing, delicious food. We got the circus burger, the ringmaster burger, fries and onion rings. Will be coming back!

Yelp
Wow. I was a little skeptical at the pricing at this place, but it was great. $12 for a Reuben sandwich seemed odd. I also got $4 fries, so all in for $16 plus tax. Anyway, the fries were pretty average, but crispy, medium thickness. Solid. The Sandwich was amazing and rich. Describe as "Smoked Pork Belly, fried sauerkraut, cider aioli, and swiss cheese on rye." Bread - amazing, soft but crispy, buttery. Pork belly - thick, luxurious. Fries sauerkraut - a little unusual, maybe not crispy enough. Aioli - rich, very reubenesque. I think what the whole thing was missing was a break from the richness. Like, in a Reuben, you get a break from fresh sauerkraut. I think that's what they we're going for with the "cider", but I didn't get much vinegar from the whole thing - just smokey pork belly, heavy/buttery bread, and rich aioli. In any case, I'd definitely get it again - didn't need the fries, though. The sandwich was big! The price is totally justified.

Hannah B.

Yelp
The food is phenomenal. We got the ringmaster and circus burger along with some fries and onion rings. To put it simply: it was delicious. Some say a picture is worth a thousand words but I say a burger is. And this place wrote trilogy!

Yelp
There is always something new and enticing on the menu here that pairs well with the beverages offered at the counter adjacent to them! They don't have their own storefront, but rather are a stationary food truck of sorts located within Two Beers Brewery and taproom. I'm so glad they are here! Their unique take on food is refreshing and delightful - perfect for a weekend afternoon or sunny day whenever we get one! The people who work here are always nice and helpful and the food speaks for itself - keep up the great work!
google avatar

Alisa J.

Yelp
There's not a burger or sandwich you can go wrong with here. Today we had the pot roast French dip and dare I say.. the pot roast was more flavorful and tender than my grandmother's. We also had the ringmaster burger and it was the perfect combination of crispy, smoky, with a slight heat.

Terry M.

Yelp
The fried chicken sandwich was great! Thighs are the right choice. The onion rings were good, too. I liked the jalapeño ranch I got with them but the star of the show were the wings. I got them all with the ghost pepper sauce and, as advertised, it had a kick. I'm a bit of a pepper head and when I say it had a kick, it means for most Seattlites, it'll probably be more like a kick in the teeth, gut, and...well you know. It would have been a 5 star but they ran of of those gnocchi tots that looked soooo good. Also, the burger didn't come quite as advertised online so had to ding them there (but I had a bite and it was still tasty). All in all, we'll be back for sure!

Yelp
This place is in the woods tasting room and it's fantastic! Pros? Great burger.. juicy and large Jalapeno poppers are bomb Quick easy service Reasonable prices Cons? The size of the poppers changes drastically (but it's understandable)
google avatar

Katherine C.

Yelp
Sitting in Two Beers...ordered from Bread and Circus for food. The Chicken Bitz, Jalapeno poppers, and Garluc Fries...all delicious!! The chicken is dark meat moist nuggets with fries. The poppers were hot temperature wise but not heat wise. Still very delicious. The garlic fries were hot and garlicky. Helpers got it right on those chicken bits! The cider here is meh. It's a plus they have so many but the flavors don't taste great. The best I tried was Pineapple agave. The cucumber hibiscus was awful! The Blood orange was the next best and finally the spiced peach. I did a 4 drink flight. The beer seemed fine according to the hubs...he likes IPAS and got a new introduction beer

Yelp
Hands down, this is the best food I've had INSIDE a brewery in Seattle. I've visited The Woods twice now and both times I have ordered food from Bread and Circuses. Both times I have been blown away. Last time I was there I had the fried chicken sandwich special and previously I had the chicken bites. I also got a chance to taste the pork belly reuben and it was delicious. I would honestly say I now go to The Woods for the food more so than the beer. :)

Andrew F.

Yelp
I would love to base this rating on quality if food but after 30 minutes in line at Marymoor Park with no end in sight, I can't do that. I left the line, got pizza and when I looked over, the woman in front of me was still 10th in line. I have to believe the food is good but stay in your lane and stay away from crowded venues. I missed an entire band waiting on these guys who looked ill prepared and completely flustered! Just bad!
google avatar

Masil M.

Yelp
I stopped by here to grab a burger to enjoy outdoors. They are open for dine in, delivery, and probably take out through some delivery app. They seemed to be doing their part in ensuring proper social distancing measures were taking place and had masks and sanitizer available for customers in the brewery area. The menu has some nice burger options and side items. I got a burger and chicken bites. The burger was really good and the chicken bites held up for a couple of hours until I was ready to eat them for work dinner break. The customer service was good. The wait was fine. It was a bit spendy. There is ample parking nearby. Would come back.

Yelp
So so good! The food truck came to our apartment in Ballard and we were so excited!! I love that the menu isn't overwhelming, and everything is equally delicious. Thank you for the delish burgers and fries!
google avatar

Yelp
Super friendly and fast. The garlic fries were AMAZING! Absolutely to die for!

Yelp
We ate here tonight at The Woods and have no idea why our experience seemed to differ so much from other patrons. We ordered the fried chicken sandwich and the pork belly Reuben. Food took 20 minutes to get to us, which we thought was odd because there were only three other tables tonight. The fried chicken sandwich bun was just terrible - cold and bland. The sandwich was missing something to brighten up the flavors because the ice berg lettuce did not add anything and the aioli was too mild. The pork belly reuben was ok, but was pretty much just meat, bread, and cheese. It was missing something sour or some coleslaw to tie it together. Unfortunately, this place was a big miss for us.
google avatar

Brad H.

Yelp
The service here is great- it is friendly and they will walk food to your table (at Chucks). Where they loose points is value. The salmon reuben sandwich contains 4 oz of salmon yet costs $12.00. For living in the Pacific Northwest, this is way to high. The portion served also seems to be much less then the 4 ozs advertised (when compared to pictures of leading salmon providers in the area like Trident foods). For the price it is simply just A-OK, not a place I would ever recommend though due to the cost and value for what you receive.
google avatar

Yelp
If you saw the line outside this truck and decided to look into Bread and Circuses yourself - good call! - those lines do not lie. My sandwich was epic. War of the Pig. The pork was incredible! (slow cooked?) and piled about a mile high on the softest roll in the world - perfect for soaking up the amazing sauce. It's topped with aioli, havarti and broccoli rabe too, which is a nice touch, making it super unique. The salmon rueben was JUST as good. House cured pastrami-style salmon with gruyere cream cheese and fennel sauerkraut. How did they come up with that? Let alone have it turn out so perfectly.. and delicious!? You may be thinking that with such innovative and impressive sandwiches, their desserts might not be the thing to go for here, but dang, that espresso stout brownie with himalayan sea salt is good enough on it's own to bring me back. Thanks guys for coming to Chuck's Hop Shop! The combination is a match made in heaven.

Yelp
ONE. OF. THE. BEST. BURGERS. EVER. Yes, you heard that right. Let me back up. B&C came up on my FB feed one day and I thought... Heck, if they are in Bellevue today, I have a new lunch spot. Lo and behold, I was in luck! I traveled to the parking lot and saw a myriad of trucks. B&C did not have a line and that made it more appealing, some one on one service. Yes. Please and Thank you. Turns out.... B&C is the sister truck to Hallava Falefel!!!! Well, well, well... it is no wonder I love you so much. Burger, Fries.... alllllllll good. Bacon, cheese, arugula, onions.... perfect ratio of sauces and bun and cheese and pretty much everything.... so delish.

Liz S.

Yelp
Tonight I was cravingggg a burger and didn't want delivery and couldn't drive anywhere so I found this food truck a few blocks away I could walk to. I got The Ringmaster and oh man did it hit the spot! Perfectly cooked, loved the bun style, onion rings were crisp and it had just the right kick to it!! I have had bad experiences with food trucks in the past, specifically burger ones...but not here, I will definitely be back!!!!

Yelp
I found this truck at the Washington Brewers Festival and decided to try it out since it was one of the few trucks that had not been there years prior. I ordered a Circus Burger with jo-jo's covered in beer cheese sauce. (I was totally buzzed!) When my order was ready, the burger looked good but the jo-jo's didn't have any beer sauce that I paid the additional two bucks for; so when I asked the cashier about this - he quickly told the cook and the cook asked if I wanted to add chili on it. Hell yeah! In this case, it worked to have an inaccurate order. The burger with the bone marrow bun was solid, but wish I had tasted more of the bone marrow. The patty was a little too-thin for my liking, but it was good. I really liked the pickled red onion on it - adding a sourness to the overall taste. The jo-jo's were awesome. I can't remember the last time I had jo-jo's, so am really glad this truck serves them. The beer sauce and chili on the jo-jo's were hearty. I was afraid I was going to puke from having had so much beef before eating such a rich meal. It definitely sobered me up, probably what I needed. I'd probably skip the burger next time, and will try the War of the Pig sandwich, which is a roasted pork sandwich on a hoagie. I saw someone order it and it looked amazzzing.

Yelp
Suuuuper tasty burger... Like to die for! The salmon Reuben is equally delicious. Pairs perfectly with the cider served at Seattle Cider Co!
google avatar

Yelp
Judging by the other reviews here, I should give this food truck another shot. Unfortunately, what I ordered (the poutine) was devastatingly salty and I couldn't even finish it. I am actually a big lover of salt (much to my poor heart's chagrin), and it was even too much for me. It sounds like their burgers are amazing, so I will give them another try soon and if I enjoy it I will change my review. But as it stands, I was not impressed at all.

Amy N.

Yelp
Got their food inside the Two Beers Brewing and was extremely disappointed. I ordered the bacon wrapped jalapeños poppers. The lady who took my food order and delivered it was not very friendly and then the bacon came out raw! it was the worst jalapeño poppers I've ever had and I showed the lady the bacon but she did not care and just told me to throw it away. Very disappointed.

Yelp
3.3 stars One of the better burgers I ever had. I managed to try out this food truck because the food truck next door (Ezell's) had a really long line during lunch while this truck didn't. I opted for the burger, fries and added a side of beer cheese. I remembered the burger while pricey, it was juicy and very tasty. Definitely pretty big in portion size. The fries was very well seasoned but I was not quite sure of the beer cheese. It was basically had an appearance of a cheese on nachos, with a hint/infusion of beer flavor on it hence the bitterness. Not my quite cup of tea. Granted, since this is claimed to be a gastropub food truck, so I guess they tried to reinvent things? Never quite get the idea of a gastronomy in a food, just felt way too modern for me. I guess sometimes going for a traditional route works better on certain things (in this case, burger). What's wrong with burger with a good old cheddar cheese? Also another thing that bothered me a bit was the price point. While the burger was certainly great for the tummy, it was NOT very wallet friendly. I spent like almost $20 after tax just for burger lunch --- For heaven sake, are we in Seattle or in New York? Anyway, I am glad I tried this place, but not sure I will be back. I'm gonna stay away from the circus and continue the journey chasing the next great burger in Seattle.

Yelp
Amazing fried chicken burger special! Perfectly complimented our cider tasting flight. Chill pub and laidback woodsy ambiance - great hidden spot in SODO for beers and casual nosh with good company!
google avatar

Laura L.

Yelp
Think to yourself, "Should I really trust a restaurant that bases its name on the idea of placating the commoners with food and spectacle so they ignore the atrocities of the ruling class?" Or, "Why does their website have a blurry Star Trek still on the header?" Or, "Panem et circense...wait, Panem? Like in the Hunger Games? What?" Let me tell you, if this is what the ruling class is using to subvert an uprising of the underclass underprivileged, sign me up! Well, not really, but this food is damn good. We ate at the truck outside of Chuck's Hop Shop, and were surprised that everything, down to the french fries, were amazing and delicious. Seriously, this place is no joke. I ate a little too much, and I don't really regret it. I'd trust this place with my mouth just about any day. The service was also stellar, and they cut us a deal for our young boy who likes his burger with nothing on it. This place is definitely a win, and we'll be finding this truck again!
google avatar

Jake S.

Yelp
I first experienced these guys at the Belgian (beer) Fest in Seattle Center with a severe case of the drunchies. Booooy do they know how to satisfy. The brussles sprout ceaser devastated my palette and ruined me for lesser food trucks. Imagine my surprise when I found out that they do the catering for The Woods. I can't imagine a better way to waste a gloomy weekend afternoon.
google avatar

Alicia C.

Yelp
I've had food from B&C a couple of times - both from the food truck and at the Two Beers/Seattle Cider taproom. Service is pretty quick and employees are friendly. Their menu has some really unique and tempting items on it, but I've only tried the nachos (taproom) and the burger (food truck). Nachos are top notch, but I was super disappointed by the burger. I had read tons of reviews on the burger and had high expectations, but we thought it was so salty that it was almost inedible. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and will likely give the burger another go. Can't wait to try the other menu items.

Chris W.

Yelp
For $10 you can order a truly terrible dish of fried Brussels sprouts. My coworker and I got physically ill from eating just half of it. No human should ingest that amount of oil, it also shouldn't be considered a salad. Possibly the other choices are better but for $16 on a burger I wouldn't want to take the chance.
google avatar

Justin G.

Yelp
Just had "The Wilbur" - sausage stuffed porchetta, shishito pepper and apple slaw. It may have been the best sandwich I have ever eaten. Amazing flavors!

P K.

Yelp
Best ever. Say hey to "chef little Rob". Amazing food not your regular food truck. What a twist and fun way to have a classy great meal.
google avatar

George H.

Yelp
Stopped by the truck yesterday for lunch and was met with great service and an interesting menu. It being my first time here, went with War of the Pig. Great concept but underwhelming in flavor and construction. The sandwich became soggy and oily, with no flavor through coming from the aioli or cheese. The pork meat looked pulled rather than sliced and the cheese wasn't even melted in. I would try the burger instead next time, for the bone marrow bun.
google avatar

Antonio G.

Yelp
This place is NOT CLOSED...just go to The Woods in Georgetown and bread and circuses have a kitchen/ restaurant inside. Where Seattle Cider and Two Beers is located
google avatar

Mark M.

Yelp
First off, finding a breakfast cart/truck that would come to Kent was not an easy task. Coordinated a breakfast with Syd for an early morning event. Super responsive to my questions and requests. Made the process really easy. Demond showed up bright and early and was able to knock out 70 made to order servings in the short 2.5 hours we had him. All three menu items were a hit and tasted great! The Tres Leeches French Toast was a hit along with the biscuits and a fantastic gravy! I would absolutely recommend Bread and Circuses to anyone looking for a high quality food cart/truck experience. Thanks again and look forward to partnering again in the future!
google avatar

Nick P.

Yelp
This is the new Tom Douglas restaurant inside of Two Beers / Seattle Cider. The menu is small but the items all look amazing. I had the Circus burger and it was quite possibly the best burger I've had in Seattle. The service was also great and the place was super clean. Order at the counter, grab a beer at the brewery's counter, then sit anywhere in the room and enjoy a perfect culinary combination.
google avatar

Lee S.

Yelp
We ran across B&C at a Chucks Hop Shop and decided to try them out. I had the Wilbur and my wife had the Chick Pea Panisse. Absolutely delicious. The Wilbur may be one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Very good food.
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
Had the only vegetarian item on the menu at the Hellbent Brewery location - the quesadilla. It was soggy, bland, and I had to stop after eating half of it. I don't usually expect a quesadilla to be made with pita bread... disappointing.
google avatar

Tanya B.

Yelp
WHOA - Stop and eat here in the 2 Beers Brewery!!!! We had the Brussel sprout ceaser salad and OMG - it is the best that I have ever had and I LOVE Brussel spouts!!! We took one bite and couldnt believe it - I cant say enough! It is so good that we are going to order it for one of our next parties - we must share it with friends and you will want to share it with yours!
google avatar

Meagan F.

Yelp
A menu for everyone! You don't find this kind of variety in many food trucks, especially ones geared toward "gastropub" styles. The vegan tacos were so tasty and flavorful with the perfect hint of spice from the jalapeño sauce. The potato tornado is such an innovative idea for those who want chips! Such a great food truck. Can't wait to follow them and try some more of their grub!
google avatar

Dan S.

Yelp
*Picked up a burger, brussels and fries at the Ridgehouse last night, super tasty *I love that they put bone marrow in their buns *The fries were very very average but they brussels with a hard boiled pickled egg and prok cirspins! Man!
google avatar

Grizzly F.

Yelp
The food truck is outside my office building on Tuesdays, and never disappoints. The circus burger was the first thing I got, and oh man was it great. Best burger in the area. Today the guy working in the food truck convinced me to try "the Wilbur" and it was even better than the burger. Every single thing I have had on the menu has been wonderful. The brussell sprout caeser is incredible, but be wary a large is a lot of food. Their prices are very fair. Beyond the food though, are the staff. The people working the truck have been awesome everytime. Today, after I ordered a guy showed up with a dog and got a burger, and the guy working the truck asked if his pup would like a patty on the house. They are just awesome people, and they serve awesome food. I have nothing bad to say about em.

Joe O.

Yelp
Twice now I've ordered the vegetarian options when the truck was parked at Chuck's on 85th. The veggie patty burger was really kind of sub par, especially since I was paying over 13$, 15$ with tip. Likewise when I ordered the quesadilla. 15$ with tip for cheesy goop on a tortilla. At least the tortilla was good. Maybe the meat options are pretty good, but I won't be back.
google avatar

Chantel H.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place while exploring the Seattle space needle and was blown away! I ordered their "burger" with kimchi and it was hands down one of the best burgers I have ever had. It was packed with flavor and every bite was better than the last. I love the idea of adding kimchi to the burger and the buns are so soft. They also have incredible fries. I wish I lived in Seattle so I could experience this food truck more.
google avatar

Lindsay P.

Yelp
Salmon Reuben...I repeat: SALMON REUBEN!!!! It's delicious! Also, the Brussels Sprout salad with the soft boiled egg is a winner. I enjoyed the veggie tacos but haven't seen them on the menu in a while. The Portobello sliders were good but were big for being sliders (not that the fat kid in me is complaining!). Up next to try: Potato Tornado and the Stout Brownie for dessert. Great job guys!

Nate L.

Yelp
Realistically, this sandwich was overpriced. BUT, that's sort of the price you pay for the convenience of getting a tasty meal cooked fresh at your favorite kitchenless brewery. That said, The Jerk chicken sandwich was AMAZING. Juicy, spicy, and just packed with flavors. I finished eating and didn't want to be done. Not because I was full, necessarily, but because it was so dang delicious I was ready to keep eating until my heart stopped.
