Delectable food!! I tried the cornbread biscuits and gravy, along with the French toast. Perfectly cooked bacon, the cornbread muffins were soft, buttery, and delicious! The gravy was savory and the French toast so light and fluffy. Great service and atmosphere! I’ll be back soon!

You can tell that the food is fresh and well made down to the small details. They put thought into flavor and it shines through their food. Everything was well presented and cooked. Service was friendly and attentive. We would return here again, and it is worth the price.

The farm Greek yogurt bowl and chia pudding and mushroom omelet all look good. The interior is modern, loud and energetic. 6 counter spots and 3 two tops and the rest of the dining are for 4 or more parties. A bit more of a wait for 4 or more for sure. Elisa waited on us, she is nice, quiet, but checked up on us and was attentive. Ordered Hash bowl with protein packer, farm Greek yogurt, croissant and yolk sandwich with egg over hard, side of salad and side of fruit too. $62.06 The hash bowl is good, tasty, even better with Cholula sauce. Big artisan bread, which on its own is bland, the carb block is more palatable with their homemade mixed berry jam. The farm Greek yogurt is pretty good, good amount of each fruit and granola, didn't skimp on the toppings. The muffin of the day is chocolate muffin, it was okay, sparse on chocolate for me. I put some of the mixed berry jam on it to make it better. The croissant and yolk sandwich has two thin slices of the chorizo chicken sausage, which was really yummy and super flavorful. The spices of the chorizo sausage is well paired and accompanied by the arugula, pickled onions, Gruyère cheese, it all comes together so well. The side salad was really fresh and yummy too. The fruit bowl was okay, the cantaloupe and pineapple were a bit under ripe, the rest of the fruit was good. The food quality and service were all good. A really good experience. Would come back again for the croissant and yolk sandwich anytime. Well worth the visit and experience.

Google
I ended up ordering the smoked salmon eggs benedict and it was so delectable. the salmon itself didn’t taste too salty and the blend of the eggs, pickled onions, tomato, arugula and the sauce all together meshed very well. I’m very glad I tried this place out and definitely consider coming back!

Google
Went for the first time today and it was great! I have a caramel latte there and one Togo and eggs Benedict which came with soup or salad and I got the tomato basil soup which was delicious! Total was $30 without tip! Great prices and flavors, will return! Server was very nice also!

Google
Great Spot for a Quick Breakfast! Bread and Roses is a lovely little place that's perfect for a quick breakfast bite. The food is fresh, tasty, and comes out quickly – ideal if you're on the go but still want something satisfying. The staff are excellent – super friendly, welcoming, and efficient, which makes the experience even better. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area. Great food, nice people, and a relaxed vibe.

Cameran was our server, she was very nice and gave us a great service for brunch! we loved this place will definitely come again. we have a large group and she split out checks without us even having to ask and everything went so smooth :)

Google
Absolutely perfect experience! Everything looked so good that I honestly wanted to try it all. The food I had was delicious and beautifully prepared. On top of that, the cleanliness of the place was top-notch, and the staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. It’s rare to find a place that gets every detail right, but Bread & Roses truly did!

Yelp
Usually I review any place chronologically but for Bread & Roses I want to call out their amazing custard dipped french toasts first. These were probably the best french toasts I have had ( that too after a full meal) with perfect texture, sweet sour jam , whipped cream and just a little bit of cinnamon. Rest of our food was also amazing and our party of four devoured all of it. We ordered pork banh-mi, tofu banh-mi, hash bowl and the complete breakfast. There were quite a few side options - potatoes -again perfectly done, fresh fruits , slice of bread( they only had sourdough but it was good) and a perfect blend of mixed greens. The coffee was awesome and the juices we ordered - mango chia and watermelon were thicker than I anticipated but refreshing. The restaurant doesn't take reservations and is first come first serve. We got a 20 min wait time at 1 PM on a Sunday afternoon but got seated in 10 mins. They have booths, bar tables and normal tables and the ambience is pretty. Our service was quick and the server did check on us a couple of times even on a full day. I am definitely recommending this place to my brunch enthusiasts friends. I am positive they will love it too.

Ordered complete breakfast which had white eggs omlette with tomato, onion, spinach, tomato basil soup and rustic bread. Hou jave options to choose on side items. Alao ordered hot coffee which came in tall glass, Overall good experience serber was polite, , good brunch place

Yelp
First things first: the lighting and mood of this place was amazing! We went on a rainy day and it was the perfect way to start our Sunday. They had changed the menu, so we couldn't order most of the things that we saw on the reviews, but still had decent options. The juice : mango chia was too thick and was more of a smoothie. So I couldn't really enjoy my meal. The eggs were cooked exactly as we asked them but I have had better potatoes. The French toast was the icing on the cake though : it was light and fluffy and the right amount of sweet.

Yelp
I don't know how I haven't stoped by Bread and Roses sooner ! This is one of those places where you don't feel guilty for eating out after you leave. The food is has options that are nutritious and incredibly delicious. The menu has enough variety to please anyone. I can't wait to bring other people here. I won't say the portions are huge, like you may find at other diners or brunch spots. But they are just large enough to have you leaving content.

Yelp
Super yummy breakfast/brunch place! Protein smasher hash bowl is incredible. You can also follow that up with one of the yummiest french toasts I have had in a while. Coffee is not bad as well. If you are interested they have some very good looking coffee drinks as well. Service and the vibe are great. Our waiters were very nice and helpful. I will be back when in town!

Yelp
Food was great. Service was top notched. A one of a kind breakfast experience. Worth a visit every now and then.

Yelp
Delicious! Fresh! Great service, nice place to enjoy breakfast, brunch, lunch. Can even get an alcoholic drink & fresh juice, great coffee. Has outdoor seating when weather permits.

Yelp
We were very hungry. We ordered a waffle and biscuits and gravy. Very prompt service very clean We did not have to wait too long for the food to arrive to our table
google avatar

Lorie C.

Yelp
Very nice atmosphere. Love the bread and roses theme, tastefully decorated. We ordered traditional breakfast, raspberry chia pudding and waffles with side of bacon. The pudding was a hit, traditional breakfast good. The waffles were served with fresh whipped cream and drizzle of berry jam. The waffles could have been hotter and a larger portion but were well made. Coffee was good. Very good, pleasant service.

Yelp
It hit the spot both times I have been there. They agave excellent service, timely arrival of food. It tastes great and hit the spot. Place has plenty of seating, clean.
google avatar

Sam G.

Yelp
Not a big fan of Brunch spots but G&R changed my mind. Service was great, food was good and prices were reasonable. The Cubano sandwich was done right and the yogurt bowl with fruit and muffin was fresh and tasted great. Place was clean and smiling servers seemed to like their jobs. I will return .
google avatar

MarMar G.

Yelp
Went there for brunch on sat morning. It was busy but there plenty of tables for 2. We had the mushrooom omelette which comes with goat cheese and it was delicious. The almond milk latte was good. Service was prompt and pleasant.
google avatar

Bella B.

Yelp
Came back. Tried other items. Overall, nothing more to say. But, REALLY dislike the handheld apparatus to process payment. Seems quite clunky and awkward.
google avatar

Christy H.

Yelp
Been here a few times before, and had a great breakfast. Although this time I ordered poached eggs on top of avocado toast and the eggs were totally raw, I eat poached a lot, these were not cooked properly. They, without issue, brought me a new plate with scrambled instead. It was fine. Although the avocado was from bulk, not fresh, yuck. Tasted terrible. Could not eat it
google avatar

Amanda B.

Yelp
The staff was excellent very patient with us, especially since we stayed longer than expected. We ordered a lot of incredible food, all of which was fresh and uniquely prepared. The coffee drink was phenomenal, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend this place, and I have to say, their French toast with berries and cream was easily one of the best I've ever had.
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent! New place, and by new I mean it wasn't there 3.5 years ago. I had the Cubano (incredible) and chicken noodle soup. Really good food. The real star is the service. Ertiola was my server and it her service was just excellent. Food was served quickly-I was only half done with my soup. One point that I greatly appreciate, the silverware is high quality which I truly appreciate.
google avatar

Bridget S.

Yelp
We had a really good experience here. They were slammed but the food and service were excellent. We really enjoyed the lemon ricotta pancakes. The eggs Benedict used a really good quality ham instead of Canadian Bacon which I really preferred.
google avatar

Deamarlo B.

Yelp
I did love this restaurant not anymore, and the food was so good. I have even brought my family here for brunch. Everyone is so nice, but however the deal breaker for me is when I went there today, there was no hand soap in the ladies' room. Knowing that it was broken, there are some may alternatives. I did inform one of the waitresses and she said thatit was broken, all they hadwas hot water, The waitresses are not properly cleaning their hands.

Yelp
Pluses: the service was excellent! Also, the food came out very quickly. I was with a large group and was surprised by how quickly everything came out. I forgot to take a picture of my drink, but I had the summer breeze, and it was absolutely delicious! I also loved the ability to pay by scanning the QR code on my check. Especially with a large group, and the fact that they were willing to do separate checks for all of us, I felt like this sped up the process...at least on my end. Cons: it is a very popular place and parking was a little bit of an issue. I had to drive around a few times and essentially stalk someone until they left. Although that may have been because there was a large group of us dining there. I am honestly not sure if that is the norm. My food came out very quickly yet was lukewarm and one of the poached eggs was very over poached. Thankfully, the other egg was perfectly poached and the flavors in the Huevos Rancheros were very good. #royaloakbrunchclub

Yelp
Came here with a friend for an early brunch on a Saturday. We were seated right away, and our order was taken as soon as we were ready to order. The inside of the restaurant is cute and clean. There is enough seating for large parties. You can bring kids here as it is very family friendly. Our food came out quick enough. The food did not disappoint, and the service was great and fast. I will stop by again if I'm ever in the area again.

Yelp
This place is by far my favorite brunch spot, not only does it have great food but the service is on point and the people are super friendly. The interior reminds me of an modern diner from NYC. I've been here many times, so I am going to post photos, cause if I sit and talk about each meal..it will take be a long review and ain't no one reading the long review.

Yelp
Food: Service: Ambiance: First time here on vacation. It's in a small strip "mall" where the parking is average, but they have extra parking around back. We sat outside on the patio. At first we were given a hard time because we brought our dog in a stroller by the hostess, but she asked her manager and we were seated. Large menu with breakfast and lunch. I had the pick two: half club and fresh fruit. My husband got the mushroom hash and my bestie got eggs Benedict. The server was attentive, but nothing special. I like that they bring the tablet to run your card at the table so you don't have to check out inside. Definitely would be back next time I'm in town.
google avatar

Joie F.

Yelp
Updated review, the huevos rancheros here is a must try. Sooo good here, and the atmosphere is so refreshing and cozy. Also food came super quick despite being super busy during brunch hours!!!!
google avatar

Yelp
I had high hopes for this place based on the reviews and photos. Unfortunately, the food fell short. The seating is a little off - the tables too low for the booths, the banquette seating too high and the tables weren't laid out in a way to maximize seating or efficiency. All of this wouldn't matter at all if the food was on point. But it wasn't. The potatoes were under done, the bloody mary was too acidic, one of the poached eggs was under - just disappointing, particularly for the price point.

Lisa

Yelp
My two daughters and I had a great experience. The food was delicious and I loved my vanilla lattes - had to order a second one! Service and ambiance are great. Definitely a must visit.
google avatar

Jennifer B.

Yelp
The food is so fresh and full of flavor! Ma and I both got the club sandwich. It came on fresh bread with savory melted cheese and an amazing aïoli. I got the pink salad and it was the best Greek type salad I've ever had, and mom got the tomato soup. She said it had good flavor. It was thick and creamy. We didn't get into it this time, but they had a lot of cool alcohol alcoholic beverages for breakfast as well as fancy coffees.
google avatar

Patrycja L.

Yelp
I had a Greek yogurt bowl, that was delicious!! And service was amazing as always. I love coming in to see Ashley. Will be back!!
google avatar

Jacob H.

Yelp
Fancy prices, not fancy. Service was good. No problems there. Jelly was good. They need to work on presentation. Especially when you want top dollar for breakfast. Which is the cheapest meal of the day. 14 dollars for two eggs, tons of potatoes, couple slices of bacon and one half piece toast. Probably could have thrown at least a complete piece of toast. Been here a couple
google avatar

Shelley B.

Yelp
Love this place! There are no words to describe the deliciousness of this French toast!
google avatar

Emily M.

Yelp
We had brunch here on Tuesday and loved it all. I had Bread And Yoke (scrambled) and my friend the El Cubano. Both were fresh and delicious. I'd definitely have it again. The thrive coffee was fresh and strong the way I like it. The colorful atmosphere was beautiful and so creative, and the service was great. We would have stayed longer but they closed at 3 pm. For dessert we both had a Caramel iced coffee topped with a ridiculous amount of whipped cream! We both laughed but ate it all. Definitely recommend and it's worth the drive.
google avatar

Felicia L.

Yelp
Food was delicious! At Atmosphere is super cute. Would super go back. I want to try most of their menu. Service was ok

Nancy C.

Yelp
The food and service has always been outstanding. Never have had poor service. The food is always very fresh. This restaurant has spoiled me in going to any other restaurant for breakfast. Actually, we drive 30 minutes to have breakfast, passing by many other restaurants. This place has high quality food.
google avatar

Samantha O.

Yelp
Sat on the patio today for brunch and was very pleased with experience. Waitress was friendly and attentive and the outside speakers were playing at a nice volume. The food was excellent and a great portion size. The eggs Benedict was perfect and not split which is always great. Definitely coming back again sometime soon!
google avatar

Melissa M.

Yelp
Always good, fresh food and kind people. Would definitely recommend! My son loves their pancakes, I love their protein packed hash bowl (although I sub out the cheese for goat cheese) or the avocado toast. My older boys and husband haven't gotten anything they didn't love.

Colleen S.

Yelp
They changed the menu!! I realize chefs get tired of making the same dishes and they want to keep customers coming back but unfortunately this change in menu has one customer not returning. I first enjoyed the restaurant a few weeks ago and had an amazing salad. I have told countless number of people about how wonderful it was! And kept dreaming about when I could get back out there for another. I had the opportunity And made the half hour drive only to find out that the menu is changed! Nothing on the current menu comes close to replacing these salads on the last menu. I am so sad. And I will have to stop recommending. The food I got was yummy but nothing special.
google avatar

Michelle W.

Yelp
Granted this place was quite a distance from Detroit but the service and food was amazing! Our waitress was nice and offered many great options. This place is definitely in my top places for drinks lol
google avatar

Stefanie S.

Yelp
Bread & Roses hosted the RO Brunch Club, and they did a fabulous job for our large group! The service was beyond excellent! The food came out fast and was quite delicious! They were super busy and the parking lot was quite full, but that didn't stop me from finding a spot.
google avatar

Dawn C.

Yelp
You know you're in the right place when they serve real maple syrup. Already planning my next visit. Whatever sounds good to you probably is. I had a hard time deciding but went with the lamb hash because it's not something I wouldn't make at home. My mom went with the mushroom hash. Changed the goat cheese for Gruyère cheese. French toast was on point. Finally a place that means my high standards in Macomb county.
google avatar

Abhilash T.

Yelp
The appearance is upscale and modern, it's absolutely an inviting place to enjoy a meal. The service was fine, we were seated right away and the wait staff was attentive enough throughout the entirety of our meal. The food was just ok to me. The mushroom omelette had far too much goat cheese and while it might be complimentary in other dishes, I did not find it to be all that appetizing. The guac on top was not seasoned, so it just tasted bland. The potatoes were fantastic, I could've made a meal just out of that. The artisan bread with the house made strawberry was good. The pancakes were a 2/5 according to my daughter. She only had a couple bites so I did my duty as a parent and finished them. They were acceptable, but there are a lot of intriguing pancakes on the menu that I would've chose over the chocolate chip. Glad I got to try food here but I honestly am starting to prefer the places that might look ancient and outdated because they have phenomenal breakfast compared to some of the places that look amazing with average food.
google avatar

AGavin W.

Yelp
Very cool vibe in this place. We sat on the patio. Service was great. I had a cappuccino, while I struggled to pick from all the awesome food choices. Cappuccino was great. The frittata was incredible. My mom had crepes and loved it. Definitely coming back.
google avatar

Nha V.

Yelp
Love this place. We drive 30 mins to eat here. It's gets so busy on the weekend. All the food are solid, from the ones we've tried. Chicken noodle is really good, especially if you're sick. Definitely get the pancakes, French toast, waffles, or egg benny. They also have mimosas with different flavors & they're strong & delicious. Only wish it was closer.
google avatar

Kat S.

Yelp
It was a Saturday and they were busy so I understand BUT I was very disappointed. We paid $34 plus tip which made it $40. It was myself and my daughter. She's 4. I paid for a kids breakfast 12.99 and an eggs Benedict 14.99. I also got a coffee which was 3.79. The waitress was nice but she only came to our table a few times. I had to ask other people to bring napkins, water, salt and jam. When we got our food it was cold. No one wants to eat cold eggs. I never was asked how the food was or if I wanted more coffee. It's hard because I totally understand they were busy and it's normally really nice and good. But after waiting 20 min, getting bad service and then cold food, it was a disappointment. Especially for $40. I might go again, but never on a Saturday morning.
google avatar

Kristina A.

Yelp
Party of 7 for brunch today, and everything was fabulous. From cocktails to coffee, and that menu! I loved everything about the place. The potatoes are both crispy and soft without being burned, and the consistency in quality was very evident between the eggs and hollandaise sauce. That homemade jam was delicious, and the house bread was fantastic as well. I can't wait to go back.
google avatar

Raquel T.

Yelp
So good! This is such a great local place for a tasty weekend brunch. Also fantastic during the week! We have been back several times this year and the food, beverages & service are phenomenal each visit. Highly recommend any of their coffee beverages, as well has the mimosas. You really can't go wrong with whatever you pick for your meal, the Farm Greek Yogurt bowl is a fantastic option from the lighter side, you even get a delicious scratch made muffin of the day!

Esther F.

Yelp
The food is healthier than most places and delicious! The menu has lots of good choices to pick from and everything I've had there has been amazing. I love sitting outside when the weather's nice and the service has always been great too. I will say it's a little pricey but I will go back because I think it's worth it.
google avatar

Joe J.

Yelp
Is the food good? Yes. Is the atmosphere nice? Yes. Is it worth the money? I mean, not really. I visited Bread & Roses with some friends last week. I got the Huevos Rancheros and a hot chocolate to drink. One friend got the Caprese Eggs Benedict while another got the traditional Eggs Benedict. They each got a coffee, and we got a small order of pancakes to share as a sweet treat. The food was good. When the bill came, our total was right around $70. For three people to enjoy brunch, it seemed like a lot. Again, the food was good and the atmosphere was terrific. I just thought it was too expensive. If you're in the area, give them a try. You'll enjoy it. Just know that you'll leave with a bit of a lighter wallet.
google avatar

Tracy F.

Yelp
$$$ This is a nice restaurant for breakfast but it is on the pricey side. My girlfriends and I each liked our meals. One had the French toast they really liked. The other had a bowl that she liked and I had eggs Benedict. My only complaint is that it was no hot. I'm pretty sure it's because they had a tomato on the bread that was cold and it cooked off the dish. I can do without the tomato on eggs Benedict or perhaps it should be grilled. I think they are trying to make it too fancy adding the tomato. I say skip the tomato.

Greg G.

Yelp
Not your normal bacon & eggs kind of breakfast restaurant. Every they serve tastes fresh, not greasy. They have a lot of unique offerings that you won't find at most restaurants. They even have a small bar in case you may Bloody Mary or mimosa.
