Yelp
Top notch all around. The flavor, quality, proprietor, even the space itself is excellent. The bread is the star of course, and is freshly baked and hard to beat: the za'atar bread is where it's at and is a must order, and you can get it a variety of different ways (note the 'veggies' on the "labne and veggies" option are tomatoes, cucumbers, and olives FYI). The spinach pie is also tasty, and I bet the lamajun is equally as good. And if you're lucky to order at a certain time, you'll get a side of their poufy bread with your entree instead of the standard thin pita. Their wraps are pressed for extra texture, and the Taouk wrap had great flavor with the toum and pickles. Their falafel was another standout: fresh, so light, so flavorful, definitely one of the best in the area and another must-order. And don't sleep on their prepared foods case: their moujadara is deceptively delicious, and their baklava and namoura are an excellent way to end the meal.
The owner is super friendly and proud of his food, and it shows. I love how they have bowl options, and can't wait to try the chickpea one. Would love to see more bowl/dinner options (taouk rice plate?), and maybe a shrimp option- and maybe extended hours too?
