"This is the OG of breakfast food in Dallas. It’s the place to go for cinnamon rolls, a scramble, or more waffles than you can shake a syrup bottle at. For less well-trod options, order the French ham Benedict served on a croissant, the Monterrey enchiladas (add chorizo), and a side of jalapeno bacon." - Courtney E. Smith

"Sure, Bread Winners is a go-to spot for brunch, but check out the mac ‘n’ cheese spiked with green chiles on the dinner menu. It’s a sleeper hit." - Rachel Pinn

Overall, wonderful. Our waiter was delightful and made us feel at home. The food was great. The menu though had so many options that I ended up going with a basic breakfast 2 egg, scrambled, with toast and bacon. My husband ordered their chicken and waffles. I had a bite and was immediately jealous. It was tasty and our boys ate almost all of their food as well. We will come back next time we are in town.

The food was delicious and hot! Our server was new so he was still learning the menu but he was really nice and answered as many questions as he could. The pineapple mimosas were great and I’m looking forward to trying the sorbet later.

I visited here with my granddaughter on Nov 17 for a late lunch. It was a beautiful day, so we sat out on the patio & I was happy that my car was parked right in front of us, that almost never happens! Our server, Meheret was prompt to take our order and with a smile, no rushing us. She was patient & smiled at us, then quickly went for our drinks. She brought our meals quickly. She returned to check on us & see that everything was fine. Before I could flag her back down, she brought extra napkins - I thought with a smile - did she read my mind? But I noticed as the patio emptied she stopped coming around. We had full plates of food & had asked for 2 to-go boxes. We didn't notice until she was gone that she had only brought one & didn't bring my to-go cup for my drink. Had to wait a bit for her to come back by for me to ask for one. She ran my card & left the receipt on the opposite side of the table, I thought that was weird. Had to drop a star for all of that, she started out so well. We both had the raspberry chicken sandwiches, they were messy but tasted great. The sweet potato fries were very good.

The Earl of Sandwich would be doing backflips over this breakfast sandwich! Ordered one to go, comes with a truck-load of fresh fruit too. This breakfast sandwich is one of the top 3 that I have had in my 55 years. Every employee I encountered was very welcoming. They took my order and brought out my food promptly. Very nice decor, feels like a Frenchy-french bistro. I will definitely return with loads of people to dine in next time.

Hm... I expected more. We’ve seen so many great reviews, and went in with our hopes very high. We were sat quickly & the food delivery was speedy, but the wow factor wasn’t there for me. The best part was the nice, fluffy eggs. I ordered the chicken and waffles, but the combination of what’s inside wasn’t for me- my girlfriend loved it, however. We can’t wait to return once COVID is over.

Ate there with my son. The Chicken and Waffles were great. Not as spicy as I would have like but delicious. My sons french toast was a little tough but well made. I loved the sample of breads that you get like for lunch in other restaurants. The only complaint is the price. $18 for a chicken breast, some sauce, and a waffle. I would come back if I was in the area.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Everything was so fresh and delicious! The whip cream was homemade, the avocado was REAL, the French toast was perfection. Excellent customer service even though we had a big party. Highly recommend the mimosas!

This place is our go-to restaurant for breakfast. Location wise is perfect since it’s just 3 minutes from my home. Ambience is good. I never have to wait for a table when I go there. Service is amazing. Though, I gave 4 out of 5 coz of the food. They hit or miss and are not consistent. But I still like dining there for breakfast.
