Matt greeted us as soon as we walked through the door. Warm and inviting. After discovering this was our first time he explained the process told us some fan favorites and we got to ordering. We both enjoyed our sandwich. The broccoli soup was bomb. I got the metropolitan, ate half and the other half for dinner. I will return to try something else. Oh and the bread pudding was the perfect end to my meal.

Google
I literally drive by this spot a few times a week, and even though I'm driving behind it (on Westpark), they're signage in their back parking lot always intrigues me... one because it's a trendy sign, but also because I'm a Led Zeppelin fan, but also.... Because I love bread Deciding to pop in for a quick bite for lunch on a Friday, I was surprised by how spacious the interior is, and I was surprised that there were no patrons and 5-6 workers. Within minutes this place was packed with The restaurant is immaculate. Everything has a place, and the colors, displays, fixtures, decor, etc are all appealing. This feels like a trendy salad spot, and I'm honestly surprised I don't see more of them around Their literal BREAD and butter (pun intended) is salad bowls. They offer salads without bread, but a zeppelin is a unique bread bowl where you get a hollowed out baguette to enjoy. There are also soups and options for kids like a "half zeppelin" The menu offers classics like Caesar, southwest, etc, but they also have plenty of signature salads to choose from. You can also build your own with so many choices of veggies and dressings. They also have chips, drinks, cookies, and right on brand... BREAD pudding You order with the staff and they will ask you some questions to see about modifications. You can order through the app OR try their user friendly kiosks by the to-go station The salad I had (southwest) was very tasty. I wasn't sure how I would feel about a bread bowl like this, but it works really well as a salad sandwich because the bread is so thin and lightly toasted. It is an interesting juxtaposition having the cold salad components and the warm crispy baguette The staff were very friendly, helpful, and attentive. I know they've been open for a while, but it was the staff service level you might find on opening weekend... everyone was on point, and you were well taken care of. Also, from the time I ordered to when I received my order was less than 2 minutes Some tips: Join their rewards programs for exclusive deals and free stuff. I noticed that many people were ordering togo through the app. They also offer catering for all your party and business needs. Once you order through the app for the first time you will get $5 off. This isn't the cheapest salad spot as roughly $13 for a zeppelin, but the experience is well worth it Cheers!!

Google
An absolutely unfreakingbelievable experience - WOW - from the moment I walked in I was in awe! Giovanni was exceptional - immediately noticed it was my first time and he helped me figure it out. The zeppelin was absolutely delightful - best sandwich in Houston hands down. Fresh taste and absolutely amazing bread. AND THEY CATER!! I’d give it 10-stars if I could. BRAVO!!

Google
First time here and they explained all the options. Tried the Southwest (most popular) and it was amazing! The Caesar was great as well. Option to try any or all of the dressings before making up your mind, to ensure you love it. Very clean, fast and friendly service!

Google
I really like Bread Zeppelin, and I have eaten a few years ago at another location. The interior of this one is spacious, nice and bright, but I was a little confused by the computers at the front that you could apparently order from. Do I order here, or with a warm body? My husband decided to go to the counter and bypass the computer to order. I ordered the Southwest, I think. The food came out fast and it was so delish! I love that the meat and veggies are inside the bread, it makes it so much easier to eat. The workers were patient and helpful, and I love that they have a huge shared parking lot with other establishments, as there were no issues parking whatsoever. Will def be back.

Google
Finally found a fantastic spot in Houston for healthy and delicious food! We dined in and ordered a Zeppelin and a Bowl. Typically the Zeppelin typically includes four ingredients and the Bowl six. We customized our orders with extra toppings for a small additional charge. We’ve also ordered online and had a great experience both times. The friendly staff and fresh, delicious ingredients make this place a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!

Google
Had the very good Lone Star Zeppelin. It's about 8" long, but bulky. Prices at under $14. The ordering kiosk was user friendly. Great selection of excellent fresh ingredients. Easy to customize. The baguette was fresh and I liked it wasn't too bready.

Google
Fantastic concept! Fresh made salad served in a toasted baguette. The food is excellent, and the service was even better. We were greeted by friendly staff and the owner quickly came by to introduce himself and explain the menu. We will definitely be eating here on the regular.

Yelp
Salad is delicious and fresh with some fun and different ingredients. However, it is crazy expensive. (20$ salad not including the baguette) Understandable given the quality of the food. Now why the two stars? Let me explain. I did a build your own salad with all the veggies and grilled chicken. It's not like salata where it's unlimited veggie options. After a while they start charging for extra toppings (like certain veggies that probs would be included at salata). They mix your salad in a metal bowl and then attempt to fill it in a plastic bowl once it's mixed. The plastic bowl is much smaller than the metal bowl. Obviously it's not all going to fit. Get this...they THROW AWAY THE REST. If it doesn't fit in the plastic bowl (which it doesn't take Einstein to realize it won't) it's thrown away!! And then they still charge you for the extra ingredients that were thrown away!! My heart sunk when they were like oh ya this all didn't fit (yall it's a lot)...we just throw it away. So you charged me for extra things and then didn't even give me all of it?! Also I was dining in. Why not let me eat out of the metal bowl?! I really loved this place the first time I came. The bread is incredible. The staff is kind. The place is spacious and very clean. The flavors are on point. But I felt like Ross on Friends when someone eats his turkey sandwich. YALL THREW AWAY MY SALAD?! Ugh!

Yelp
What an awesome find. Wife found it and we gave it a shot and wow: dominates cava .... The bread is phenomenal and salads very tasty. Finally a salad/sandwich place that's no messy and the perfect portion size. Worth the price I had the Cobb my wife had the chicken Caesar. At first bite, I knew we'd back. Glad I found it before 2024 ended! PS please open your next branch in Fort Bend county (Richmond). Lot of hungry salad eaters there!!

Rashan D.

Yelp
Tried bread zeppelin for the first time yesterday and it was ok. For the price, taste, and quality I prefer Salata, Zoa, or Salad & Go. The serving size is good but to me the taste just isn't there.

Yelp
If you're looking for a unique twist on sandwiches, Bread Zeppelin is a must-try! Their signature "zeppelin" concept--freshly baked bread filled with a variety of delicious ingredients--takes lunch to a whole new level. The atmosphere is casual yet inviting, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal with friends or grab something to-go. Don't forget to check out their selection of house-made dressings; they truly elevate the dish. Overall, Bread Zeppelin has quickly become one of my favorite lunch spots. I can't wait to go back and try more of their creative combinations! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Giovanni, Matt, Jackie and a group of other employees made my first time here AMAZING not only is the food concept the first I have ever experienced but it tastes great! Basically, it's a salad dressed and stuffed into a baguette style bread. I wish we had this in north east side of Houston. Until then, I will be visiting the Bread Zeppelin in the Greenway Plaza across from Lakewood Church. I am grateful for the kind treatment from all the workers but I thank Matt, the manager for spending the time to educate me about the restaurant. PLUS THE BREAD PUDDING IS OUT OF THIS WORLD! I only do reviews if a restaurant positively impact me so you give this establishment a try.

Yelp
YALL...on a whim I decided to order the classic Caesar zeppelin with chicken and WOW. From living in NYC, having great chicken Caesar wraps up there...I've been on a Houston search for one. Now this isn't a wrap but it might be better!!! The bread is so delicious, never hard or soggy and just the right amount of softness. The inside!!!!!! I'm not sure what dressing or spices they use in their caesar but it's absolutely amazing. This has become my all time favorite lazy day door dash lunch order! Service is always FAST, I've picked it up in store a few times and they are always quick & have it ready. Inside is always clean & the staff is very friendly. Will definitely continue to order.

Yelp
The bread here is absolutely amazing!! I love the concept of salad inside a baguette, healthy and yummy too. Bread Zeppelin executed it flawlessly - bread is hot & crunchy, salad ingredients are fresh, and they have so many dressings to choose from. I didn't get any dressing because I felt like the protein (chicken) was seasoned well enough. I got the Pacific Beach, which includes avocado, romaine, tomato, artichoke hearts, cucumber. There's also the option to build your own salad or zeppelin. This location is spacious and clean. I really like how tables are not spaced too close to each other. The staff here is very friendly & helpful. My group came in on their customer's appreciation day with the 50% off offer. We were helped with instructions on how to claim to offer on the app. A great experience! I'll definitely be back

Yelp
3.5 stars. Staff was friendly, but order took 20 minutes even when we ordered ahead online. Sandwiches were overly salty and overpriced. We were shocked at the small size of the sandwiches for an average price of $15 each. The French bread is excellent quality, and the sandwich ingredients are fresh and appealing, but a sandwich from Jersey Mike's or Jimmy John's or a salad from Salad and Go would be much more satisfying for a lower price.

Yelp
My friend and I came here for the 1st time on a Saturday around 1 pm. It's in a busy complex but there is plenty of parking. The restaurant is very spacious and naturally lit with all the windows. Plenty of table options. We ordered our food at the self-service kiosks which were easy to use. My friend got the Washington State & I got the Southwest with chicken & avocado ranch dressing. We both really thought the flavor was refreshing like a salad and paired so well with the toasted baguette without feeling so carb heavy. We each ate the entire zeppelin. I'm looking forward to coming back soon to try another one!

Sophie R.

Yelp
I went here on Sunday with my fiancé. I was looking forward to trying bread zeppelin but the young lady working there was full of attitude and clearly did not want to help us. When the customer service is bad, the food ends up being bad. Definitely won't be going back there.

Yelp
A clever concept for a nice, filling, yet light meal option. I think of it as a Subway x Salata crossover - build-your-own or go with a pre-selected classic salad to stuff within a hollowed out French baguette. They have a wide variety of fresh salad ingredients, toppings, crunchies, and dressings so you can have it any way you like it. You can order ahead for pickup or use one of their self-service kiosks for an easy ordering experience. Plenty of room to dine in within their clean, spacious restaurant. I ordered their Classic Caesar Salad Sandwich and it was really yummy - would definitely order again!

Yelp
Great salads in a bun. Nice concept. Need to have more stores around Houston, especially in Suburbs like Sugarland! Patient service. The girl at front desk helping with serving salads on Saturday last was very good at what she was doing and polite too. We went for dinner time, place was kind of empty but filled up fast. Nice quiet place. Had tried it in Dallas and will definitely go again.

Yelp
Really have become a huge fan of this place. Every bread Zepplin I've eaten has been a home run. Staff is always fast and friendly. Definitely recommend this spot and I always stop by when I'm in the area.

Yelp
Delicious soups and sandwiches with such yummy bread! We had the bread pudding too. Super unique flavors! Will absolutely be back.

Yelp
I went in for a to-go zeppelin. I ordered the limited time one, the Shanghai zeppelin. Tofu was my protein. Service was fast. Food was refreshing. I was pleased. It's a great spot to pick up food in a hurry. If you dine in, the music was kind of loud. But maybe it's not always loud. I only been there that one time.

Yelp
Stopped in when wanting a not so heavy meal option. The folks were super helpful for it being our first visit there. They informed us of the choices of how to order. Made the process go easy. When we were unsure of the sauce for my husband's they gave a chunk of the warm bread to try the sauce with. So yummy. Overall it was incredible how much they fit into the zeppelin. Mine was the Nashville hot which I didn't think of as overly spicy but a good level of it. I will be going back for more of that along with the tomato soup. The juices and tea options for drinks were a nice change up also.

Yelp
Salad in a hollowed out sandwich? I'm in. I first had BZ in Dallas years ago and haven't shut up about it since.. You can customize your own or pick a ready made option (but I like to customize!). My fav is the Caesar. This time we got the southwest with avocado ranch and the Shanghai. For my personal taste, I'd take the currants off the Shanghai and replace the cotija cheese on the Southwest with another.. they didn't seem to fit.. However the bread was perfectly crispy and the salad was NOT soggy after a long drive home in traffic, so I could only drop one star. Go ahead and download the app for $5 off your first purchase!
google avatar

Diana J.

Yelp
It's like a crispy shell for your salad. Like a taco salad burrito but with a crispy baked bread shell that's stuffed with your choice of salad filling. And the bread pudding is dense and gooey. Absolutely great for a quick meal. Pretty filling. Can't wait to try other stuff on the menu!
google avatar

Yelp
Super friendly and energetic staff. Zeppelins and ingredients are all fresh. Great dine-in experience.

Yelp
Driving by, the name Bread Zeppelin stuck out to me. Looked them up online & saw the coolest way to eat a salad! It's stuffed in a hollowed-out bread! I want to try all if their Signature salads and chose the Atlantis Zeppelin today. Staff was super nice and they encouraged me to place order on the app next time. The veggies were fresh & mixed with the perfect amount of Greek vinaigrette. Will be back!

Yelp
A salad in a sandwich?? Umm yes, sign me up! I discovered this place as I was going to a spin class at the cycling studio next door. I was already planning my post workout meal at Jimmy John's but I saw the "Bread" Zeppelin sign next door and immediately had to Yelp it and subsequently try it out. Upon entering, the store was bright and welcoming. The place is setup just like a salad bar, you start at one end and choose your base and then proceed to other toppings. I chose one of the featured salads in a Zeppelin (which is bread hollowed out). The server was informative and made it fresh and quickly. I took my order to go and was surprisingly happy to see my salad-sandwich was still crisp and delightful to eat when I got home. The salad was fresh and and even more delicious in the Zepp (hollowed out bread). I was completely stuffed after this meal. Overall, the salad itself was just ok- not as great as Sweetgreen or Local Foods. But maybe I just need to come back and try out the other salads on the menu. I also tried their chicken tortilla soup here and it was disappointing- very watery with minimal flavor. I would definitely come back and try out their other salads in a zepp. But my one suggestion would be to make sandwiches in a zepp! How great would it be to eat a sandwich with less bread?! P.S. I asked what they did with the leftover inside bread and they use it for bread pudding! So nothing here goes to waste!
google avatar

Yelp
Wowzers this place is good! I placed a order for pick up and it was ready in 10 mins. Secondly the product. Rated GAF. What a refreshing sandwich. Very tasty and not overly dressed and fresh tasting ingredients. It'd the perfect amount of salad and ingredients tucked into a hollowed French roll. I'll definitely be back.
google avatar

Schuyler S.

Yelp
Led Zeppelin inspired salad restaurant. Count me in! If you've been to Sweetgreen or Salata, it's more of the same but this is a much larger place, that has the most dressing options I've ever seen, while jamming classic rock hits on loop. They have some great menu items or you can build your own salad or zeppelin (salad stuffed inside a loft of bread). Make sure to sign up for their app. You'll get $5 off your next order!
google avatar

Jenny N.

Yelp
I've eaten here twice and have always had a good experience! If you're not sure if you want a salad or a sandwich, this place combines the concept of both! Bread always has a good crisp. They also offer a lot of different toppings for the salad. I've also had their broccoli cheddar soup which is also delicious. The workers have always been welcoming and quick to take care of you. Overall, a solid lunch spot!
google avatar

Joiya A.

Yelp
Great place for lunch that's fresh and quick. Salad in a baguette. First time trying this and I was pleasantly surprised. You definitely get a lot for your money. Assembly line style with an array of items to add. Great beverage selection and ample sitting.

Cindy B.

Yelp
I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Bowl based on their menu picture and recieved a bowl of lettuce, carrots, celery and A FEW tiny slivers of chicken. Don't pay $14.00 for what you can buy for $5.00! I've never taken the time to post a review, but felt compelled to write this one.

April M.

Yelp
What an incredible sandwich we had, from out of town and the service was so friendly definitely coming back here on my future trips you guys are a keeper.

Yelp
Bread Zeppelin is a great concept and awesome for those who want something healthy and quick, we really need more places like this so I was super excited to go. There are pros and cons to this place. Pros: Healthy, quick, lotssss of variety, delicious, fresh and quality food, very clean, vegetarian options Cons: really bad service depending on who you get. I've been there twice now and only one time was a worker very nice to me, but both times there was at least one worker who was extremely rude and unhelpful when it came to adding toppings. My major issue is that there are no food lists/signs to tell you what protein or veggies are actually available, and everything is so high up so if you're short like me, you have to stand on your toes and even then you can't really tell what everything is and this is why a visible accessible list would help. Also, not everything they have available is put out which is odd. By that I mean, once I finished ordering my sandwich, I saw on the very last sign on the wall a sandwich with banana peppers and banana peppers were not on the line. You're also weirdly only allowed 4 toppings and they charge for more. Also, they have a ton of unique sauces, which is awesome; however, the glass is taller than 6 ft so it's not very conducive to a "you're allowed to try them" kinda vibe... especially when the workers don't give that vibe either... Lastly, with them offering things like crispy chicken, steak, shrimp, etc, I feel like it should be standard to ask if the customer wants their meat warmed up vs making us seem like it's weird to ask... It just seems a bit disorganized and in general the restaurant is not set up to be visibly used friendly. The first time I went I came in 10 mins til close. Bad choice on my end, however, the woman/person was aggressive about letting me know that I had "5 minutes till close" and that I "need to hurry up". So bc I was rushed I chose the Lone Star and it was not good. Cold steak feels very odd to be considered normal. Second time I got crispy chicken with buffalo and other toppings. Incredible. Overall I would come back for sure. But I really really hope that they make these necessary changes.

Yelp
I've been eyeing this place ever since I passed by it one day. I did some research and thought the concept was interesting. The inside is big, nice and clean. There can be some confusion of where to order and how to do certain things since there's really no signs. Some of the staff is really young and the other half is older and more experienced, so be prepared for that. I got the Rodeo Brisket (seasonal) and my mom got the Shrimp & Sesame Zeppelin. I replaced the jalapeños with black beans. It was super delicious!! The shrimp and sesame was also super flavorful and delicious. I asked one of the younger girls what they did with the inside of the bread, since they put the insides in a big tub. She had a malfunction trying to tell me that they make banana bread and croutons, but she wasn't 100% sure on that answer..? Ok... She also said they could give it to you, but I wasn't in the mood for the attitude so I just said that I was just asking and went about my business. Later on, I goggled and yes, if you ask for the insides of your roll, they'll wrap it up and give it to you at no charge. It is fairly expensive. The zeppelin being less expensive than the bowls. I'd definitely come back to try a different zeppelin.
google avatar

Ishika K.

Yelp
I had this place for the first time a few days ago and think it might be one of my new favorite spots. It's a chill vibe on the inside, nothing fancy at all. I love the way they make their zeppelins and I love the different combinations and options they have. I got the box lunch with the southwest zeppelin. It came with a chocolate chip cookie and a bag of chips. I got a drink on the side as well, the peach lemonade was amazing! I loved the box lunch idea, and it is super filling. The staff was kind and helpful as well. One thing I truly love about this place is how they use the extra bread to make fresh croutons! Absolutely amazing and will go back again for sure!
google avatar

Maggie S.

Yelp
This place is so good!! I feel like their pictures online don't do it justice because I would've never ordered if it weren't for my sister having tried it before. I got the Atlantis zeppelin and it was so flavorful. I love how easy it is to eat without everything falling out. The bread was crisp and didn't overpower the flavors which I loved. Portions are very plentiful!
google avatar

Claudia C.

Yelp
I had a great experience at this location. It was my first time trying Bread Zeppelin and I was not disappointed. First, the staff were so nice and helpful! I grabbed the Lone Star and just subbed out some of the items. It was really good and I love the avocado and ranch dressing and I enjoyed having my salad in a bread, but I mean who wouldn't. I will say it does get pricey, if you want to add additional vegetables to your salad you have to pay an additional .89 per item and that adds up. I think they could definitely benefit offering some freebie vegetables to add to your salad, just a thought. I will definitely be back to try more combos.
google avatar

Misty K.

Yelp
Food is amazing!!! I can't eat here enough. I plan to try all the different Zepplin's.

Katie B.

Yelp
SO GOOD!! The Bread is a long pocket so it doesn't get messy. The filling is always well chopped and mixed so every bite is the perfect combination of flavor and texture.
google avatar

Shannon H.

Yelp
I got the Atlantis zeppelin and it was everything I hoped it would be! 10/10 flavor and balance

James O.

Yelp
I always had this idea. So happy someone else did as well. Unfortunately not right around the corner but will be back when nearby. Excellent.
google avatar

Bob S.

Yelp
I've now been there 4X. Zeppelins have all been wonderful [flavorful and warm]. I've tried 4 different kinds of zeppelins and have now determined my favorite. Service is quick (less than 5 minutes) and employees are very friendly. Restaurant is clean.
google avatar

Yelp
We met at the SW Freeway location, great parking available. It was large, well lit and clean. In getting started I would suggest two things: a menu up front so newbies who aren't ready to order do not clog up the ordering cue - second a visible "Order Here" sign to make it clear where the cue starts. The pre-set salad options are a great way to get comfortable with the product and second trip a visitor may venture into self choice. We were hungry so we stuck with bowls like the Lone Star and all was very fresh and well tossed with a dressing of our choice. We dined in and our salads were quickly ready. Comfortable seats availed quickly and drinks and drink refills were convenient. I'll be back to try the Zepplins as the bread is very fresh.

Yelp
This is such a simple but stellar idea. Take your salad & sandwich and combine them (in a synergistic way). What I'm saying is that they have a great premise and they execute it well. A "zeppelin" is a hollowed-out piece of bread, filled with a salad of your choice. The bread was excellent -- crispy but not overwhelmingly so. It made the perfect receptacle for my salad -- I got the Kale-ifornia. It was delicious. I ordered the dressing on the side and poured it on btw. Not sure if the bread gets soggy faster if you don't? We got take-out so we wouldn't be eating it immediately. Also tried one of their soups -- broccoli/cheddar -- yum yum! Definitely a keeper in our go-to take-out arsenal -- when you want to be healthy but still want the carb-tastic satisfaction that only a piece of bread can provide! Btw, you can order just a healthy salad bowl here and skip the bread. I do recommend you try their signature gimmick, if it's your first time visiting.

Yelp
I had been so curious about Bread Zeppelin and I was so pleasantly surprised about the whole experience! Misty made sure we had an amazing experience with a warm welcome and took the time to explain all the available options! The Zeppelin is a baguette stuffed with your choice of salad. Everything is prepared to order with high quality fresh ingredients. The bread zeppelin is FILLING! I was so shocked that a salad could fill me up so much but it was absolutely perfect! This is a fun new way to eat your salad and I thought it would be perfect on the go!
google avatar

Roma B.

Yelp
Lots of different make your own salad options, similar to CAVA. Download their app to get $5 off your first meal. Got the kale chicken salad with champagne vinaigrette. Can get the salad in a bowl or in a hollowed out baguette. Great portion size, had plenty for two meals.

Laura M.

Yelp
yumms like always. I got the tuscan zeppy with steak and banana peppers ‍ Staff was great like always specially on a busy zeppy free zeppy birthday event. Lots of tables and its really clean

Shelly R.

Yelp
The food is very good. The service is very good too. I've only been there twice and both times the person different person each time they were super nice and very helpful. I was kinda having a bad rushed kinda day but the young lady that helped me was so patient and helped me realized that is ok to just breath and take a moment for myself. She was such a sweetheart. I completely forgot to get her name. But I would definitely go back. And I recommend it to everyone.

Jayme B.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised by this interesting concept of a salad in your bread... The bread is a perfect crispy contrast to the yummy salad ingredients. The restaurant itself has a nice vibe and was very clean. I had the Nola w crispy shrimp and my husband tried the Metropolitan with chicken and we both very much enjoyed them. Good portion sized to leave you full but not stuffed. We finished by splitting a bread pudding-- tasty but not remarkable. But yes that's what they do with all the bread insides- croutons and bread pudding! We would also recommend the yummy lemonades!

Yelp
On 8/16 at 7:25PM entered with no customers in store. Two male and a female employee were standing in rear store doorway eating and playing around. One employee SLOWLY approached but did not offer a greeting or assistance as he was chewing on his food. I told him I had seen their spot on the morning news and wanted to check them out. I got no response. Our poor eyesight causes difficulty reading elevated menu boards, so I asked if they had a paper menu? The male employee still standing in rear store doorway, RUDLY blurted out "in the front" . As we perused paper menu, employees were busy clowning around with female sweeping behind the counter. Never an offer of service. How about offering: any questions on menu, what can we get for you, etc. Nothing. I can't speak to the food as we walked out. This was our initial visit to try what we thought would become another eatery choice for us. With the vast array of eateries in our great city, customers expect excellent food and customer service. Their staff and customer service we encountered were terrible.

Yelp
I have had this place and I don't have too many complaints. The concept is really good And a tasty change from regular salad places. The service was also very good.

Yelp
My chicken Caesar sandwich was delicious but I have to say there was way more croutons than chicken.

Yelp
This was so good I want to stand outside of the front door and scream at strangers to come try it.
