Soups, salads, sandwiches, baked goods, and catering

"With two locations in Dunwoody and Sandy Springs, folks can satisfy their soup and deli sandwich cravings outside the Perimeter at Breadwinner. Order soups and stews like turkey chili, tomato basil bisque, hearty chicken noodle, and even gazpacho on warm days. There are daily soup specials on the menu, too. Soups come in three sizes: a cup, bowl, or quart." - Eater Staff

"A Dunwoody spot suggested for traditional latkes, serving the familiar fried potato pancake commonly enjoyed during Hanukkah." - Robbie Medwed

"The Sandy Springs-based Breadwinner Cafe and Bakery opened a second location in the former Wright Gourmet Sandwich Shoppe in Dunwoody Village offering soups, salads, sandwiches, baked goods, and grab-and-go food; open for limited dine-in service with online ordering for takeout and delivery via UberEats and GrubHub." - Beth McKibben

"The second location of Sandy Springs-based Breadwinner Cafe and Bakery opens Friday, July 31, in the former Wright Gourmet Sandwich Shoppe in Dunwoody Village for soup, salads, sandwiches, and grab-and-go food. In addition to limited dine-in service, Breadwinner includes online ordering for takeout and delivery via UberEats and GrubHub. Breadwinner Cafe is owned by Geoff and Katie Melkonian, who own Farm to Ladle restaurants at Ponce City Market and Avalon in Alpharetta. The Melkonians announced they were taking over the Wright Gourmet space last spring, following the closure of the much-loved sandwich shop after 35 years there. “We’ve wanted to be in Dunwoody for a long time, and this was the right location,” Geoff Melkonian says in the press release. “It’s in the center of town, and the community has been incredibly supportive. The Wright’s Gourmet was a coveted family favorite for so long, and we feel honored to be opening our second shop in such a beloved space.” Following a complete renovation of the interior earlier this year, Breadwinner now seats up to 75 people between the dining room and enclosed patio. However, capacity is currently limited to 35 people until the health crisis ends. As for the menu, expect freshly made soups, salads, and sandwiches, such as an Italian sub, pesto panini, and pimento cheese, boxed lunches, and weekly off-menu sandwich platter specials, like beef tenderloin with grilled vegetables and mashed potatoes. Breadwinner also offers catering services and an in-store marketplace selling baked goods and breads, dressings, dips and spreads, and prepared meals." - Beth McKibben

"Set to replace the longtime Wright Gourmet Sandwich Shoppe in Dunwoody Village, Breadwinner Cafe and Bakery — owned by Geoff and Katie Melkonian, who opened their original shop in 2010 — sells soups, salads and sandwiches in addition to a variety of breads and baked goods, offers catering, and announced on Facebook that it will open in Dunwoody in late summer 2019." - Beth McKibben
