"We’ll set the scene. Your train back to Central line hell is in half an hour, you spent approximately four million pounds in the arcade trying to win that stuffed Sid the Sloth toy, and you’ve self-diagnosed yourself with hypothermia after a six-minute swim in the sea. Time to hit up Bready Delights. A great little street food van selling Jamaican classics like jerk chicken, patties, and plantain from The Avenue, it’s the perfect option if you need a speedy but oh-so tasty meal. It’ll also work for a quickfire dinner before cocktails if you got so distracted looking for the perfect distressed denim jacket in the Lanes’ vintage shops that you missed your dinner reservation. Plus, it’s a great back-pocket option if it turns out the entirety of London has descended on Brighton and you need a 10-minute time out on a patch of grass with some ginger cake for company." - Heidi Lauth Beasley

Went there this evening after looking for a jerk restaurant in Brighton for a while, food was amazing not to spicy just perfect; good portion sizes would defiantly recommend we’ve been to lots of Jamaican restaurants and this was one of the best will be returning very soon! The guy working in there was lovely and chatted to us the whole time! :)

The food here is absolutely delicious. Literally travel from London to eat the jerk chicken with rice and peas.

I had a lovely goat curry here and it was delicious and nourishing. Meat falls off the bone and melted in my mouth, and you could taste every herbs, spices and care that went into it. Just layers of authentic flavours in every bite. I regret going for medium portion instead of large. The rice tasted really fresh too. Not too spicy and you can always ask for hot sauce. Met Kevin the owner, very nice guy and down to earth. Will come back again.

B'S HONEST REVIEW ♡ Located in hove along blatchington Road, you cant miss it, lovely staff & clean establishment. I orderd curry goat that cost me £14 pounds for regular size, Lovely flavours however for the price I do expect to have a bit more meat /bigger portions

Best carrbean food on the south.we drive from Bognor Regis religiously once a week and take over there one table. Marya I think her name is (chef/owner) always makes us feel welcome. We go for large jerk chicken and curry goat, both pack with flavour proper wholesome cooking. If your ever in the area get down there. Also she’s always got a good playlist playing

I’ve been meaning to visit this place for a very long time, finally got around to it and my god was it good! Had the jerk chicken, with rice, and a mac and cheese on the side, happened to stumble upon a few pieces of plantain in my rice as well and DAMMMN was it good. I cannot recommend this place any more, will be a monthly treat… 10/10a

Ordered for the first time, jerk chicken, rice and peas with a kind bonus of plaintain and a small tub of coleslaw which were also tasty! Delicious and authentic in taste and at an excellent price. Best around for sure and totally recommend if you want to eat Caribbean cuisine ! Ordered for a 2nd time recently, equally as tasty !! Had their stewed chicken and rice, equally delicious. The lady can cook for sure 😋 !

I was really disappointed, half the box was full of bones and inedible, the plantain was burnt and greasy. Such a shame. I love Carribbean food and used lickle more and rids jerk roots locally which are far better in my opinion.
