Great taproom on Marina Bay serving a nice variety of beers. The servers are all very friendly and the beer is excellent. It's a very lively location. The outdoor area is nice and also dog friendly.

Opening weekend for a new Marina Bay brewery. Break Rock serves seven inspired brews in a low-key, family-oriented, dog-friendly, comfy setting right on the water. Service was quick and friendly. Had a great meet-and-greet with the owner, Jay. My fave so far is the nitro dry Irish Stout 👍👍👍👍. There are a few arcade games and a closet full of board games. Ooh and free cookies... There's only light snacks on the menu, so I got a slice of pizza from the always dependable Boardwalk Pizza 😋.

Great new brewery addition to the area! Unmatched views from a gorgeous sun-drenched place with an endless amount of parking a few steps away and welcoming dogs inside. Come summer with outdoor seating, and it’s going even to lift it to another level! Great expansive styles of tasty beer getting cranked out too 🍻🍻🍻

Google
Definitely worth checking out if you’re at Marina Bay or in the area. Aside from being a prime location, this is one of the only places in Boston that is dog friendly! You can bring your own food, order from the shops nearby or support vendors at BRB. Their tap list rotates often so there is always something new to try. Additionally, they always have different events going on and varying vendors at the brewery. The vibes here are unmatched, especially for the area ( Q can be a bit sleepy). We need more places like BRB in Quincy.

Google
Break Rock Brewing was an outstanding choice for the Cunningham Parents Social. Just right vibes for the event, excellent brews, and fantastic service. Plus, it provided the perfect space for our live entertainment, featuring the talented Sam Chase. A must-consider venue for any event!

Google
Great New England IPA - lovely space, super dog friendly and nice views of the marina. Definitely stop in for a brew!

Google
this place BLEW MY MIND! never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that hot cocoa seltzer could be good, but it was incredible. i look forward to trying more of the seltzer flavors, as the owner said they switch out pretty frequently. they are homemade, and gluten-free as well. super super super friendly and engaging staff/owner.

Google
Very cool spot. Terrific beer and a great atmosphere. One of the best local breweries I've been to in Massachusetts. The place is beautiful too.

Yelp
Break Rock Brewing located at Marina Bay is perfect if you love brewed beer! Jay gave us a tour and explained the brewing process. I had a delicious frose as I am gluten free. It is spacious, board games are provided but no food. However you can bring in. Also lovely patio overlooking the marina. Also, music is scheduled regularly. I recommend this one of your stops for a night out in Marina Bay.

Yelp
Great place for a party. They don't have food, but they allow catering. The owner seems really awesome. Loads of parking outside, great dog, friendly outside,

Yelp
The space is big and the location right by the water is nice, even in the winter. They have a skeeball and a basketball arcade game you can pay a little cash for and a bunch of table/boardgames which is always fun. The beers we had were not super impressive but definitely solid! The Tripel Trouble (Belgian tripel) is great. Quincy Center is a solid NEIPA. High Sierra was maltier and not as hoppy as I would expect for a west coast IPA but it was still good.

Yelp
Located down in marina bay in quincy, plenty of parking in the municipal lot across the street, walk up past the convienent store and you're there on the left. The space was great for hosting our school reunion, has great beers on tap, games in back, space for DJ music setup, cater food tables etc. Had a great time. Saw lots of old friends, great beers and food. Music was popping.

Yelp
Stopped into break rock for a couple beers on a beautiful Sunday afternoon and were very happy with our decision. Location is perfect! There's a few restaurants at the marina but nothing like this. Multiple TVs were playing the patriots which was a bonus despite their less than stellar performance. There was plenty of parking behind the brewery, which in Boston is a huge plus. Taproom was beautiful, clean and the vibe was right for the location. The beer tender I had was the friendliest I've ever encountered and I've been to quite a few breweries over the years. He really made the experience even better. Shame on me for not catching his name. The beer was good, but nothing out of this world. Had a few ipas, a dipa, and a marzen and they were all quite palatable. I wouldn't hesitate to visit any time I'm in Quincy and want to grab a few brews.

Yelp
Let's start by saying I LOVE THIS PLACE! Great location! Great atmosphere! Great scenery! Great staff! And most of all Great Beer!! Someone recommend checking out the Marina Bay area so I came on a Thursday night. After walking around enjoying the scenery of the bay, I decided to stop at this brewery for a beer. Since they give free samples to see what you like, I decided on the Golden Goose NEIPA which was delicious. Brewed in-house, these beers are fresh and potent. Honestly, one of the best beers I've had. Highly highly highly recommend! I'll be coming again. Come here, sit outside and enjoy their amazing beers.

Yelp
The excellent views along with live music and food vendors on the weekends during the summer make this a 5 star. Dog friendly is an extra bonus

Yelp
FIRST TIME at this great location to experience this waterfront Brewery and Tap Room and the ONLY BREWERY in Quincy was the perfect time to check it out and enjoy the location and its beverages! Arrived on Thursday January 25 and to my delight it was "QUINCY POINT NIGHT", it was the new release of a New Brew at this location. It was a night of fun, food by Blacks Creek BBQ, Raffles if you wanted to take a chance on the great prizes displayed. The Owner Jay was a great owner and host to its patrons and was nice to be able to meet and speak plus many impressive guests that attended including the newly Elected Richard Ash Quincy's Own City Councilman to enjoy and met many of Quincy's Residents! So the food was great the service was perfect and the whole atmosphere was a night to remember. Lots of happy smiling places and it brought people talking to people with several high top tables and seating area! Will go back again!

Yelp
Beautiful location! Clean tap room, family and dog friendly, gorgeous views and some of the nicest staff around! Perfect spot for larger groups or just a few quick ones. Love that they allow outside food but also nice to see them supporting other local food vendors who do pop-up events there. Often seeing fun craft events or music from local artists. Overall, Break Rock really cares about giving back to the community. The Golden Goose and the rotating seltzer flavors are worth trying!

Harper H.

Yelp
Our favorite place - always a great rotation of beers and good cider/seltzer options! Love their Quincy is Everything beer especially!

Tessa S.

Yelp
Nice area and has parking but menu is a little unclear between the seltzers and cocktails, feels like you're rushed when you order at the counter. We ordered pizza from next door and brought it over which works but it does add a little more time when you're trying to find a seat in Break Rock and everything.

Bailee P.

Yelp
I literally felt happiness in my heart being here. They were so nice and a huge plus is that they allow dogs! The beer was really good. I tried both of the seltzers and I hated one and loved the other. We got a 4 pack of the miserlou to bring home and the next day those were even better!

Michael M.

Yelp
I was fortunate enough to try their beer a few years ago when they started dialing in their recipes and it was absolutely delicious. Thanks to COVID and supply chain madness, I have been waiting awhile for this place to open. But GODDAM was it worth it. The beer is top-notch, and their spot is absolutely awesome. I am not someone who "notices" "things" but they must have hired a team of beer-drinking designers to draw this place up. It's efficient. It's pretty. It has function. It has form. AND IT IS ON THE GODDAM WATER. I can't wait to see what this place will be like once it gets warmer. Went twice (don't judge.) First time was with the guys. Got a big table with easy access to the bar. Their stout is amazing, particularly if you like drier stouts. Then I came with the wife and we sat a bit away from the crowd. Sampled a few things but decided A Tip of the Cap (their pale ale) is incredible and is probably my go-to going forward. I think it's going to be in their regular rotation, according to one of the owner/brewers who was super friendly. These aren't some rich kids playing with mommy and daddy's money. Two world-class, pedigreed brewers who have created this place from the bottom-up. BRB LFG!!!

Harold S.

Yelp
Amazing! The staff is so friendly and the vibe is perfection. Do yourself a favor and grab a Break Rock brew!

Hannah F.

Yelp
Enjoy a tasty cold beer in a fun atmosphere overlooking the beautiful marina! I enjoyed a delicious sour beer and others in my party said the wheat beers were good. The IPA's however are not the best and it's clear this brewery does not specialize in IPAs. They don't serve food but there are many other restaurants near by that you can order take out from and bring in. We enjoyed a delicious pizza from nearby! Apparently this brewery also frequently has live music, which I'm sure would be fun to attend! Note - this brewery is dog friendly (inside and outside) so if you have a well behaved pup, feel free to bring them!

Yelp
Just had the Alaus! It was delicious!!!! Want to come back in the spring and enjoy the views of Boston over the water...

Janice Z.

Yelp
We hosted our sons graduation party there this Saturday night... The staff couldn't have been more wonderful! Up until the event they were always checking on us making sure we were all set with food and the singer, I hired, etc.... The day of the party they were unbelievably helpful! The venue was wonderful all reserved for us! They gave us anything we needed and asked for! All the people that attended the party, said they would definitely come back! And without saying the beer was amazing!!!

Alexandra M.

Yelp
Great space that has a lot of tables in and out and a few places to order from at the bar. They may have some things that are not in the menu so be sure to ask! There are a few games inside as well.

Crystal B.

Yelp
We anxiously awaited the opening of this brewery and are thrilled to have it in Quincy. Atmosphere is fun, and the brewery is spacious and cool. The setting is beautiful on the marina. Love all the dogs coming in and live music events. The beer is great. Opening Salvo is our favorite.

Mark A.

Yelp
On Black Friday let me grab a drink. I had one of the best on menu: Tripel trouble on tap

Monica D.

Yelp
My husband and I hosted our rehearsal dinner at Break Rock Brewing. It was an absolute hit! We are huge brewery people and this place was right up our alley. It is right on the boardwalk of the beautiful Marina Bay with stunning views of the marina. They reserved an area for us where we had plenty of room. They don't serve food, so we had our dinner catered by Fat Cat in Quincy Center. There are a number of other restaurants in the area where you can pick up food. Their beers are delicious and their staff is super friendly. The planning process was incredibly easy and their event manager was very responsive and transparent throughout the entire process. They also had a live DJ and arcade games which were a huge hit! Highly recommend hosting your event here!

Matthew L.

Yelp
Great spot! I've been here twice now. I really enjoyed the "Hard Sighs" Stout (picture perfect, as you can see in the photo) and the "Opening Salvo" NEIPA. Both are solid choices. I took home a 4-pack of the "Peacefield" Kolsch. It is a solid representation, I can see myself enjoying it on the patio or mowing the lawn. Best of luck to Quincy's first hometown brewery (not counting that place that used to be on the Artery in the 90's).

Mo E.

Yelp
Decent selection of beer but small interior gets crowded especially with everyone bringing their dogs. Better places with outdoor seating at Marina Bay .

Yoshie M.

Yelp
