A coworker spoke highly on this place . In my adult years, I've become extremely fond of lamb chops and don't know too many places that knows how to cook them in a way to where they are still nice and juicy but isn't so gamy in taste . Knowing this new found love for lamb, my coworker and her fiancé swore by this place. Mentioned that it was black owned, and that the food was on point . I took my daughters here for a late breakfast. We went to the Arlington location, just us and another couple were there. I heard that they are usually packed and the waiting time can be ridiculous. Maybe because of the day we chose to go , we encountered nothing as expected. Practically had the entire restaurant to ourselves, with a few people coming in to pick up or place Togo orders . It's a small restaurant, but nicely ran and clean . We sat in the center of the restaurant. Food came out in a timely manner, nicely prepared and delicious. Also enjoyed the music selection as well, I love a good 90's playlist.
I think the only thing I wasn't too fond of was my bacon, everything else I smashed and even had to save some so that I could enjoy it later that day. My daughters also enjoyed their menu options as well.
I really like that they weren't like traditional breakfast restaurants, and I was able to order things that people usually wouldn't pair with breakfast foods , like the collard greens . Lol..
