18 Portland Breweries Showcasing the Evolution of Craft Brewing

"Since its eponymous IPA was given the gold medal at the Great American Beer Fest in 2014, Breakside has been on a roll. A decade later, the brewery shows no signs of stopping — it took home a sizeable chunk of hardware again at the 2023 Oregon Brewing Awards, nabbing a total of seven medals in different categories. Visitors will find everything from sandwiches to nachos at Slabtown, Lake Oswego, and Dekum brewpub locations, or just grab a brew at its Milwaukie location, where customers are instead encouraged to bring their own food." - Ron Scott

The Best Restaurants in Northwest Portland’s Slabtown | Eater Portland

"In a city with a lot of breweries, it takes considerable presence to stand out. Breakside manages to do so with its exceptional takes on classic Northwestern brews like IPAs, as well as some bolder fruit beers and sours that manage to stay grounded. The busy Slabtown brewpub has pretty standard vibes — spacious and industrial with a large covered patio — and offers a hearty menu of pub stables like sandwiches, salads, and a few entrees." - Alex Frane

Where to Throw a Bachelorette Party in Portland | Eater Portland

"The Northwest Portland location of one of the city’s favorite breweries is roomy, airy, and well-suited to big groups. The snack-y plates, like furikake shrimp cocktail and braised beef nachos, are a smart choice with sampler trays of the brewery’s latest." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden

Attended a networking meeting in the mezzanine and had a great experience and a wonderful cocktail. Before heading home my friend and I had dinner downstairs. We were seated promptly at our table and instructed to order via our phones, which had us pay for everything ahead of time, including tip, which seemed a little strange to tip before the service was provided. I ordered the Cuban sandwich with waffle fries. The fries were fantastic and in general the Cuban was great but on half of my sandwich, there was a ton of horseradish. However the interesting thing was the other half of the sandwich did not have horseradish . My friend ordered the macaroni and cheese and halfway through our meal she stopped eating and mentioned that her noodles felt like they had a lot of horseradish on it. I noted that mine did too, which seems strange. Double checking the menu. We noticed that neither of our meals mentioned in the menu description anything about horseradish. With this being such a bowl flavor it seems like something that would be mentioned in a menu. I would have wanted to get the attention of a server to say something about our meals, but no one checked in with us after our food was dropped off. It was a busy night and even when we tried to make eye contact with the server to ask for a box for our fries. No one caught our attention so we had to walk up to the bar.

Very nice vibe! We sat outside and the weather was great. Big windows were open for indoor people to enjoy outside too which was nice. I ordered the blueberry pomegranate cider and really enjoyed it. It also came out in like a minute after I ordered which was nice. They also have a 6 sampler of beer for $15, which I will definitely be trying for next time!

Google
Visited in Aug 2023 Really nice place to hang out and have some good beers. Would recommend folks to go with the sampler tasting tray where you can try 6 beers in each order. We ended up trying almost every beer on the menu by doing so. Fast & efficient service. Would definitely recommend visiting this place if you’re in Portland.

Google
Nice brewery in a nice neighbourhood. Ordering was through online system which was quite fast and efficient - we prefer the usual personal style better though. Staff is niece and helpful. Beer selection is quite big but unfortunately some of them not really to our taste. ps: they make huuuge and delicious pretzels

Google
Super nice venue to hang out with friends and enjoy drinks and food. We're here for a wedding and there was lots of room for all of us inside and out. Beer was good as was the big pretzel. Loved the vibe. Service didn't disappoint. check it out.

Google
The beers are tasty and easy to drink, and the flavors are well balanced. The foods are okay. The buffalo chicken wings are spicy and delicious.

Google
Fun, lively, fantastic vibe and great food! Super busy when we arrived but food is also served at the bar, so no need to wait if you’re with one or two others! Best pretzel in town, great tostadas/crab cakes/chicken & waffle sandwich, solid apple crumble dessert. Staff was super nice, too! Loved going here for dinner on a Saturday. I would definitely suggest going early, though, considering it was packed at 6 PM with the warm, sunny weather.

Yelp
The beer is great! One of my favorite breweries. The food we ordered was pretty weak however; nachos with pulled pork and "hot" wings. The nachos didn't come with any house made salsa or hot sauce, you just get tapatio. Was also hoping for house made cheese sauce instead of melted shredded cheese. The hot wings weren't spicy at all. The chicken was tender but yea I expect hot wings to be covered in hot wing sauce but not here.

Yelp
Once again Breakside Brewery is amazing! I haven't ever been to this location before until recently and the beer is as creative, refreshing and fun as it ever has. We got two different beers on this outing here. We started off with the Shades of Purple Pale Ale. This was a nice one for sure with it's flavors of floral, spicy, brown sugar and cinnamon. It was also an extremely aromatic beer too! But our favorite for this sitting was a fruit beer called I Purple You. Quite literally it's Purple (or pink) and it was a real joy to drink. It had the presence in the flavor profile of Graham Cracker and berries. Light bodied and refreshing which is what we desired on this particular day. Breakside continues to keep their beers interesting and experimental with it's beers and that is always a good thing as far as Steve and I are concerned!

Yelp
Breakside apparently wins a lot of gold medals for brewing. I've yet to taste a beer that I loved. Some are solid enough, others mediocre. But in a town with so much wonderful beer, I don't know how Breakside gets the hype. Also the food is pretty mediocre. They only serve waffle fries, which everyone knows is the least good way to prepare fries. The nachos are really unconscionable. I don't know what those are, but they aren't corn chips. Pita slices? The ones I had last night (I didn't order them) had barely any cheese at all, like maybe a Kraft slice for a whole bowl. I hate to slag on a place that has good people working there and is a fun location, but the food is subpar and the beer is mediocre, so what can I do?

Yelp
Nice happy hour spot located in downtown Beaverton (directly across the street from where my husband gets his haircut at Dita Barbers). Street parking is easy and the vibe is super chill. I met a friend for happy hour on a Thursday night. We initially ordered beers at the indoor bar and then we migrated outside to one of the large picnic tables under the heated pergola. Service was prompt and helpful. I'm not much of a beer drinker lately so I asked the bartender for a pale ale & he recommended their Rainbows & Unicorns, which I loved. It was light and crisp with a peach/pineapple flavor noted. I'd definitely order it again. My husband joined us and ordered a variety of food from the carts available: fries, onion rings, pizza & taquitos, which were incredible. Overall, good vibes, service and food. Easy & approachable. Great place to gather with friends.

Yelp
Came here on a beautiful sunny Saturday and this is a great place to hang out! The outdoor seating provides shades and dog friendly, and the inside is open and there are more tables upstairs for bigger groups to mingle. You check in at the hostess stand and everyone is super friendly and service is quick for the bar. Their tap list is extensive with lots of options for everyone and bar food to share as well. I got the dirty fries to share and the Passionfruit Sour - very refreshing on a hot day. Come chill here and enjoy a beer or two!

Yelp
Bartenders are nice, good ambiance, the food that I have had so far was well priced and tasty. Fan of the nice bright setting. Good brewery worth coming to.
google avatar

Yelp
Awesome spacious space in the heart of 23rd & 22nd. Well established brewery pumping out thousands of gallons of beer since 2010 ~ good variety of tasty styles, award winning, seasonal rotations. Every location is different ~ this one has a huge taproom, shaded outdoor seating that is pup friendly. At this spot the flat service is consistently too snobbery versus the other locations. Cheers.

Yelp
I can't say enough about the beer. The food was okay. I can't say enough about the beer. Yelp what more can I say.

Yelp
Breakside is the small neighborhood brewery that's now a Portland institution. It's one of those breweries that people outside of Portland know about since they have won so many awards and medals for their beers, particularly their IPA. Their beer is clean and polished. Well-made, on a technical level. This is probably the best brewery located in the downtown area. The ambiance though, was a bit too clean and polished for me. It just felt kind of cold and sterile. We didn't have any of the food, but only because we weren't hungry. It looked great!
google avatar

Kamron H.

Yelp
Breakside brewery by far one of THE best breweries in PDX and in my top 5 for the west coast. The fresh hop IPA was their best beer. The house breakside brewery ipa is pretty good. The black ipa was nice and definitely worth trying. Food here was also really great too. Whether it's your first time here or your 50th brewmasters here are always accommodating and know how to tailor recs to your taste. The vibe here is pretty chill and people around here were generally friendly too. I'm coming back here next time I visit PDX!

Jazzy S.

Yelp
We came in for an afternoon drink. Ambiance is like a casual chill brewery. Service was good. You order via QR code. We got a flight of beer, and everything was good, but nothing special. It was nice variety with 6 different beers. We will have to be back for food next time.

Yelp
I ordered through Uber a woman called and said they were out of wings but could they send tenders tossed in Buffalo sauce instead I said sure sounds great. She then CANCELS my order and now I'm stuck trying to figure out what I'm going to eat again like wt* who does that!?!?

Yelp
I went here with my cousin after bouldering and it was a much needed pick me up! We got seated outside without a long wait time at all, like we waited 1 minute do the waitress could wipe the table down. There was also a fire heater in the middle of the outside seating area, it is also covered by what I think was a giant tent. After we got seated, we ordered beer, I got a flight and my cousin got the Wanderlust IPA. Out of all 6 beers, I have to say I liked What Rough Beast the most, I like hoppy beer. There is a self serving water station. My cousin and I ordered our food, we got the drumsticks appetizer with buffalo sauce on the side and the Ahi Tuna Sandwich. Let's just say the drumsticks where WAYY bigger than we anticipated! They were very tasty but a bit dry for my preference. However, drizzling the hot buffalo sauce made the drumsticks taste just soo good, the outside of the drumstick is crispy! The ahi tuna sandwich was so delicious, I would highly recommend trying this sandwich out if you like seafood! Very tangy and fresh at the same time, the cucumbers I think were marinated so they offer taste and freshness. The waffle fries were also seasoned, warm, and crunchy When I come back to Portland, I will be coming back here 100%, solid for a nice Sunday afternoon! We also saw dogs in the outside area

Yelp
Was here about 2 weeks ago. Very last stop before heading back to the airport for a late flight home. THESE WINGS!! Absolutely the best I've ever had! I ordered them via the QR code at the table. Requested for them to be extra crispy; they came out perfect! I think this was a house or original Buffalo. The service was great, but the order yourself concept is a really great idea for when you need more time to sit with the menu. The weather for the patio was perfect. The beers on tap were great even though I can't remember which ones we got. LGBTQ friendly and fur baby friendly. We would totally come back!
google avatar

Sophia L.

Yelp
Great spot for beers. They have inside and outside seating. Super high ceilings so it feels really spacious. You can order drinks and food via QR code on the table.

Mike B.

Yelp
Cool spot on NW Portland. Nice outside seating. Greeted by a very friendly host. Order at the bar or using a QR code at table, not ideal for a group dinner but no biggie. Beer was cold and delicious. We got waffle fries and buffalo fries to share. Waffle fries are great, buffalo not our favorite. I ordered a French dip and it was great. Prices were on the high side but I get it, costs have gone up. I'd go back but maybe for fries and a beer next time.
google avatar

Aimee P.

Yelp
Solid brewery. Ample sitting with indoor and outdoor options. The outdoor option also had outside patio heaters. Great selection. Order through your phone with a QR code with the order coming promptly. Worth a try.

Yelp
Good drinks, great food, good vibes, good peeps, good patio, reasonable prices. Easy rating! We came straight from a tasting at Bull Run Distillery, and I wanted a proper pour of their whiskey. So I was relieved to find that this very beer-centric spot also had a few whiskeys on hand. (Liquor laws are typically insanely corrupt and harm distilleries, and Oregon is no exception. Bull Run was allowed to sell me a flight but couldn't sell me a proper pour of a whiskey. I expected more of you, Oregon - I expected you to be more supportive of small businesses.) I got my proper pour of Bull Run whiskey with excellent food and open-air restaurant to boot. The patio was hoppin, which was fine because our table near the patio was open to the same delicious perfect-temp air. Got the blackened chicken sandwich, which was awwwwwwesome. Perfect sammich, even sans bacon since I don't eat pig. Fries were perfect. Oh yeah, and we started out with a Bavarian Pretzel, which lived up to its "famously large" description. It was absolutely massive (see other people's pics). Highly recommended.
google avatar

Johnny C.

Yelp
Service and food have gone way down, and prices have gone way up. $13 for a chicken sandwich that most closely resembles a bad Wendy's, then you pay $5 extra for the small portion of fries. I only mentioned the portion size of fries to the server, but had to mention it twice to get a little bit more dropped off. Bad experience with a spot I used to frequent.

Brian S.

Yelp
Do you like to wait tables? Yes, then this is the place for you. Order at bar, carry drinks to table. They DO bring the food minus napkins and utensils so eat like a caveman. It's the trend you just don't know it yet. Oh yes then bus your table and be asked to tip Eat a bag. Beer is good but don't t eat here, I can buy this beer at Safeway on sale. Thx
google avatar

Crystal H.

Yelp
I had an Early Grey beer before and I've been trying other beers with similar flavors, so I ordered Breakside's version of it! It was pretty subtle though. Their service was nice! I like their outdoor patio, it is nice and big with tables and high tops. We didn't order food, but looks like they have some pretty standard food that accompanies Portland's brewery locations: burgers, wraps, fries, etc.
google avatar

Ryan H.

Yelp
Breakside Slabtown hosted my retirement party. We rented out the Mezzanine, which was the perfect size for my approximately 60 guests. The booking and organizing was super easy and stress free. On the day, the team was ready and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this spot for your private party needs. Thanks so much Breakside!!

Minji P.

Yelp
Ordered corned beef cabbage for St patty's and I got back something you wouldn't even feed to your dog. It definitely ruined my st patty spirit.
google avatar

Yelp
Went with a large group of 9 on Sunday evening. You can order at the bar or at the table using the QR code. Not everything was on the QR menu vs paper menu so decided to order at the bar. Friendly service but if you want to order additional drinks or food, need to go to the bar. Nice variety of food and almost all dishes were good. We also did sampler beer tasting to share. Cheeseburger - thick patty, nice and juicy Steak sandwich - nice slides of steak and tasty Steak salad - Also good and comes with nice slides of steak meat Hummus and olives - Nice assortment of veggies, hummus was good but I prefer more garlic Waffle fries with blue cheese - Amazing! Got the blue cheese and sauce on the side to keep fries crispy Quinoa bowl - Although roasted root veggies were great, I didn't care for curry flavored quinoa Mac and cheese - Not to traditional looking or tasting but pretty good. Kids loved it
google avatar

Kelsey C.

Yelp
Great place to try the beer. Lots of interesting selections, and a six-serving flight is the best way to try them. The menu descriptions are incredibly accurate, capturing every ale to a tee. All the IPAs are insanely bitter, and descriptions like "dank" and "marijuana" are on the nose. There's also a Pilsner that tastes like a textbook Pilsner and a passion fruit sour that finishes like fruit juice. All super creative and they really go all out with their flavors. Food comes in generous portions, perfect for drinking with; Bavarian Pretzel, Chicken Tenders, Cheeseburger, etc. Come for the brews. Every sip will make you think!
google avatar

jason c.

Yelp
Service was horrible. Stopped in to check in with the hostess to get seated in the patio area. I was directed to a table. I proceeded to order using their table barcode online for something I presumed would be quick to fix up (soup and salad) as it was cold and I had my dog with me. I ended up sitting out in the patio area for over 30 minutes without a server coming out to check on me or even offer me water. I prepaid using the barcode app, and wish I didn't pay before the food got to the table, because my tip would of been less than what I gave.
google avatar

Yelp
Well I forgot to get pictures of the food and the beer! This is a solid place a good beer and a bite. Breakside has been one of our favorite breweries in Portland so we always enjoy going. The north west location is spacious and open with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They had plenty of space and high chairs for children as well. The beer is solid and you can't go wrong with your choices. I ordered the ahi tuna sandwich which was my least favorite item. The tuna was plans and the wasabi spread took over the whole sandwich. My husbands macroni was creamy and tasty. Honestly, our favorite item was my sons chicken tenders. I previously had their burger which was delicious. Other options that looked good that I haven't tried: blue cheese fries and nachos.
google avatar

Julie E.

Yelp
We came, we saw, we left. After being directed to a table, we waited, and waited and waited. Our waiter walked by multiple times and not so much as a glance or a "I'll be right with you". We were excited to give this place a try but the window closed. Great outdoor and indoor seating areas and fun selection of craft beers.
google avatar

Tom T.

Yelp
Great range of beers, specifically their FH options right now. Drumsticks always on point. Bartenders are really helpful considering the rotating beers they always have. Drumsticks are my fav. Outdoor seating is covered and plenty of indoor seating.
google avatar

Amy K.

Yelp
Stop in during the week for a late lunch. Options were to order at the table with an app or go up to the bar. I chose the bar as I find that much easier because online you can't normally make accommodations or substitutions. Bar staff was not very friendly or welcoming. Ordered an appetizer of the blue waffle fries, the ahi burger with minestrone soup, and the daily special a quinoa tofu bowl. Was told they were out of the special. Ordered a blackened chicken salad instead. Fries were cold and not good. Ahi was good and had a lot of flavor. I would get it again. Soup was ice cold and lacking in flavor. I pretty much just ate the noodles out of it. The blackened chicken was extremely overcooked and very dry. Even with the side of ranch it was not appetizing and not edible. Decided to order a sampler beer tray and went back to the bar. The first three beers I picked from her their list she stated they were out of. Pretty disappointing with a small list to begin with. Overall experience was extremely plain and nothing stood out for a return trip. Plenty of other places to eat, good luck with your experience.
google avatar

Joshua L.

Yelp
Atmosphere is pretty upbeat and a Great place for a meet-up with friends. They were great for accommodating a large group of us for New Years Eve despite being relatively busy the whole night. Despite being at a brewery, I did not have any drinks but my friends seemed to enjoy the large selection. Regarding food, nothing really stood out to be honest. Selection is pretty typical of most breweries like burgers, chicken strips, etc; although they did have a selection of Mac and Cheeses. I had their chicken strip which was pretty unremarkable. I liked that they had waffle fries so that was fun. I had their side of habanero sauce which tasted good but was a little too watery for me.
google avatar

Cindy I.

Yelp
Nice and quiet on a Saturday for lunch. Been at night before and it's very busy. It's been a while since I have been here and the menu is trimmed down. They only have regular waffle fries and I really like the sweet potato ones on Dekum. The burger was great. Asked for medium rare and it was done perfectly. Always love the flavor and quality of beef at both locations. Back in the day here I enjoyed the halibut fish and chips. I think long gone. The self service water and order with your phone or at the bar is not my favorite. This is a huge place and to not have table service is odd. I'll come back for the food but the experience just isn't the same.
google avatar

Isabelle S.

Yelp
A great spot for food and drinks. The hummus plate was huge and pretty tasty, not a ton of non-beer options but the food and atmosphere were nice.
google avatar

Paige A.

Yelp
Great beer and great space! Personally I appreciate the QR code menu at the table, but they offer physical menus as well. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
google avatar

Scott C.

Yelp
Great craft beers, great food and good service. Breakside is a fun local brewery! If you're new to them or just looking for a fun way to try lots of beers, I highly recommend doing a sampler Flight of beers. They are well known for having great IPA's and they were fantastic! Also, as many reviewers have stated, try the giant Bavarian pretzel! You'll be happy you did. I didn't have a full dinner so can't comment on entree dishes but I definitely want to go back to try. Overall, Breakside is an awesome brewery in a great location and you won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Kareem A.

Yelp
Probably one the more iconic taprooms/breweries in the area. I always find parking hard in this area of Slabtown and this place gets pretty packed during peak hours. They do have big tables, great beers, and a very family-friendly environment. I've been here with a large group, including a 3-year-old and a baby. We still had a blast. The food doesn't disappoint either, highly recommend if you're in the area.

Irene L.

Yelp
HEALTH HAZARD! Beware the outdoor benches!! If you sit in either end on the last 2 slats (without anyone else sitting on the bench weighing it down) YOU WILL TIP AND FALL!!! These benches are poorly designed, extremely lightweight and dangerous!!!
google avatar

Heather R.

Yelp
This brewery came highly reviewed in a travel blog, all I can say is wow. What a commercialized establishment. Out of all the breweries we went to in Portland this one was the largest and most impersonal experience. The beer was NOT it. We are from Colorado, we love us some IPAs and when I tell you we could not find one we liked, I mean it. We didn't finish not one beer in the tasting menu. But, what sealed the deal was watching a bartender who was serving the couple next to us catch a whole attitude with them simply because they didn't understand what she was explaining to them. Total turn off, and it was then we closed out and left. There are a plethora more of breweries in this city to spend your money at, go there instead.
google avatar

James R.

Yelp
Came here to have a few beers before our dinner reservation. When we sat down, the menus were dirty. It wasn't a huge issue for me but my partner was turned off a bit. I told her not to worry. I got up from the table as using Toast to order from the table was kinda a pain. The bartender was very nice and was clearly busy and said they'd be with me in a moment. As I waited I noticed some movement from my peripheral. A fruit fly. Then I saw another. And another. And another. 100 fruit flies flying around the bar. I turned on my heals and told my partner we were outta there. That many fruit flies = terrible cleaning practices. You don't get that many fruit flies over night.
google avatar

Allison M.

Yelp
I haven't been to any other locations but this one is great. The patio is dog friendly and covered! Order the Giant Pretzel with Extra Beer Cheese. Thank me later. Great selection of beer on tap.
google avatar

Kevin K.

Yelp
Beers were tasty and served quickly. QR code ordering was odd - had 4 people at the table and it wasn't informative to ensure we got 1 check so we passed a phone around. Food was good. Buffalo chicken wrap seemed like all the sauce was on one side - glad I ordered an extra sode but not sure it was worth 50 cents! Steak salad with medium steak was pretty rare. Overall not a bad experience.
google avatar

Kayla H.

Yelp
Love a good burger from Breakside! It was busy when we came in but the staff was quick so we got seats immediately. You can order from the QR codes at the table so our food and drinks was also pretty fast. I'm a sucker for their burgers and friends - some of my favorite in Portland! It was a nice day out and they had lots of outdoor seats so we enjoyed our time outside!

Joe G.

Yelp
great visit. good selection of beer & noted that their whiskey selection is pretty good as well. bartender was very friendly & helpful. great chat. nice, comfortable seating at the bar. beers were all quite good. a few were exceptional. worth the trip.

Yelp
What a Joke. No real service. You have to order off the bloody phone or physically at the bar. WTF. Service has gone out the window but on the app they suggested a bloody tip? Well, at least they didn't have a sign, "Bus your own table." Using the freaking app I ordered a taster tray. Usually I'd ask the server for some advice on beer but there are none. So I picked my own. Best thing about this place is lots of beer to choose from. Bring back table service.

nicole g.

Yelp
It's truly unfortunate that such a fun brewery in a nw area closes PROMPTLY at 9pm sharp every night of the week. They make it well known and uncomfortable that they want you out by 9pm and the employee Jesse is not shy to glare at you and make you feel unwanted when you show up at 8pm. It is a bummer because it has so much potential but Jesse makes me want to go literally anywhere else.
google avatar

Charlie D.

Yelp
Food is already bland and they just redid their menu and now they've kept the most bland food on the menu. Friendly service gets them the second star but when you cut a majority of the menu that was edible it's not worth coming back at all with all the other great breweries around that have better food and similar beers.
google avatar

Scot N.

Yelp
OMG!!! Not only do they have amazing beer but their food is incredibly tasty, as well. We visited the Slabtown location in Portland and was really impressed with how they handled everything during Covid. The location was incredibly clean, the wait time was manageable, and the ordering process was simple. Every single beer they have is amazing. No matter what your taste preference or style of beer, they have something for you. The food menu, while not exceptionally large, is filled with enough choices that everyone in your party will find something they like. Best of all, every time we have been there, the food has been amazing. Do yourself a favor and check out this incredible brew pub.

Yelp
Thanks to others' great reviews, we found this great spot. Great staff, great spot, delicious and varied beer offerings, along with wine, bourbon, vodka, and other choices. Menu is impressive. Salads and bowls to traditional pretzels and beers. All genuinely delicious. Sitting outside (under cover) enjoying a breeze and a great beer and happy to be alive in a world with breweries.

Yelp
Breakside is a full bar brewery that seems to specialize in Westcoast IPAs with four of them on their 11 draft menu. Despite most the beer I tried on my flight being very similar to each other they were still good and I do have to say their passion fruit sour is probably the best sour beer I've had in years. I usually don't bother with sours since most breweries do a lackluster job making them but theirs had tremendous flavor. Smooth taste that didn't make your face pucker when you sip it. They also have a menu of cocktails, ciders/hard seltzer, wine, and mimosas. They have a variety of food on the menu that we didn't get to try since our visit was just to check out the beer. The location is in a cool spot, lots of other places in the area with small easy to walk streets so you can park nearby on the street and not have a long walk to get here.

Breakside's beer is familiar to me so during my latest trip to Portland, I decided to stop in at the tap house. Good decision. - Had two beers on tap that I hadn't had before. Both very good. - Food is solid, especially the pretzel. The salad with seared tuna also was nice. - Space is comfortable. I could see visiting often if I lived in the area.
