The 25 Best Restaurants In Paris 2024 - Paris - The Infatuation

"Famous for their buckwheat crepes from Brittany, Breizh is a perfect inexpensive lunch or dinner when you need something light and easy or you forgot to book ahead. Traditional savory galettes like simple ham and comté, or sweet crepes like pear, white wine, and chocolate sauce are terrific, but you could also go against the gluten-free grain by ordering one of their rolls. Instead of being served flat and open like a pancake, these are folded into a cylinder shape and then cut into pieces like sushi. The Marais location is probably the only one of the nine in Paris where you do need a reservation because it’s so small. Others, like Paul Bert and Odeon, have more space and lovely terraces for sitting outside when the weather’s nice." - Sara Lieberman

Google
Product quality and customer satisfaction at the highest level for a creperie. Made with very fresh ingredients, tasteful and colored plates very well presented, high quality ciders from small local suppliers in Brittany and Normandy … a real feast for the eyes and the taste buds. The team was very nice and looked happy to work here all together, a positive sign!

Google
Delicious take on the basic crepe. We had the breakfast crepe with ham, egg, and cheese on a buckwheat crepe. Had never had a buckwheat crepe before but it was quite good and healthy to boot. And their preparation was excellent. For me this was a unique, and very tasty, take on a breakfast basic. Definitely worth a try.

Was our first meal in Paris! What an introduction! We loved it very much. I had the sausage wheat crepe, excellent and the crust was crispy but yet had a crepe texture to it. Inside was meaty and flavorful. Service was excellent and accommodating, we visited around 3 pm and there were lots of others eating and enjoying the food and drinks. I would imagine this place would be extremely busy during meal hours.

After going through multiple reviews online, we wanted to try out some good cafes in Paris, and we managed to squeeze in Breizh Cafe on our first day. We were hungry after a long day of walking and traveling and wanted something filling. As a first impression, the overall ambiance, location and experience were good. The staff at the café were really friendly and made us feel so comfortable. I ordered "Poêlée de Champignons", which was kind of rolls stuffed with mushrooms which was slightly crispy and some really hot tasty mushroom fillings inside. My wife had Amuse-Galettes with extra cheese and walnuts. She really loved the melted cheese touch to the dish. And finally, to finish up the lovely meal we had hot chocolate and cappuccino. To conclude, we really had a great time, but however from a cost perspective, it didn’t quite satisfy our hunger for the price we paid. That said, the taste and ambiance met our expectations, and I would recommend it if you’re looking to experience a local café with some special crepes and coffee in the evening.

Google
Location is great, service is good but it can be slow if it's super busy. A mistake was made on our order but it was easily fixed, and it can happen to anyone when it's busy. The galettes were really tasty but a bit on the expensive side, same for the sweet crepes, the location is definitely the reason. (Also the place is crawling with tourists)

Google
We actually made three visits this trip. My autistic son is a picky eater, but he enjoys the fantastic crêpes! I tend to prefer the menu at the Marais location, but the Odeon is a bit more convenient. At all Breizh—in my experience, and I have been to at least six, the staff works tirelessly and maintains friendly spirits.

Google
In many touristy spots in Paris, the food and service can be hit or miss, so I wasn’t expecting much. But this place was a pleasant surprise. The galette was well made—crisp and flavorful, with balanced fillings. What truly impressed me was the service. The waitstaff were attentive, kind, and polite, which is rare to find in such a busy area. The terrace was great for enjoying the atmosphere as well. Definitely a spot I’d recommend, even in the heart of tourist central.

Google
This is a 16 euro crepe. Where 2.9 euros where from extra veggies (3 cherry tomato’s and 4 micro broccolis). The taste was good but quantities are really bad. Felt scammed. You can see the bottom of the crepe was empty and not much ham for a ham crepe.

Yelp
Walked in on Friday at 1145am without reservation, able to got seated right away, but all the tables taken by 12pm. Inside decoration modern with stylish touches, my favorite part is the stone walls, classy! There also has lunch menu before 3pm( Attached the menu photo). Both savory and dessert crepes tasted fresh and delicious. Kids also enjoyed it. And this is definitely great place for family and friends. The waitress is really nice and only thing was not easy is the packed tables , which is hard to get out of the table or walk out with backpacks. Other than that, food and price are 5 .

Yelp
NO NOTES, literally one of the best things I've had in Paris (granted I wasn't here for very long). I will say, if you go for dinner and have a big enough table, make sure you get a reservation because they WILL be seated. I think this is more of a snack vibe than a true meal but also anything can be a meal if you need enough of it. We got the suzette, the avocado tofu, the raclette, and the standard jam crepe. The wait staff was in their standard french behavior but the food came out REALLY fast / I think they were understaffed but literally you have to go here. there's also a bunch so no matter where you go you'll probably find one

Yelp
If you love crepes in all forms, you must go here in Paris! Some friends recommended we check this place out, so my dad and I went for dinner one night. We didn't have a reservation but were seated at a table immediately. They had a ton of seating outside too but it was a little cold to sit outside. The menu isn't huge, but they do have specials every day as well. I went simple and ordered the cured ham galette which was absolutely delicious. The egg was perfectly runny and the cheese was gooey, and the ham was good - flavorful but not too salty. You HAVE to get a sweet crepe while you're there too, so my dad and I shared the dark chocolate crepe. I love dark chocolate but this was insanely rich, so I asked the server for a side of vanilla ice cream. It needed the sweet, milky-ness of the ice cream to cut the chocolate and it was so good, we devoured it in like 2 minutes. Yum

Yelp
This cafe is about a 5min walk away to the Luxembourg Palace/Garden, so perfect place to start the morning with a hearty brunch before going for a day of site seeing. Food: - Artisanal truffle cooked ham - Great. Buckwheat crepe with sunny side up egg in the center with ham and cheese folded inside. Nice savory brunch dish and one crepe is very filling for each person. Service: Great. Picked our own seating, waiter promptly brought over menus, took orders, and food was served in about 10min later. Ambiance/Vibe: Great. Casual, plenty of outdoor seating in a cozy and quiet residential area on a weekday morning. Cost/Value: Great. Each crepe costs about $15, which is very budget friendly for a filling breakfast. Visit again? Yes. Lots of different types of crepes to try and memorable experience to a classic French dish.

Yelp
Just finished a nice visit to the Jardin de Luxembourg, and needed something to eat. I wanted to make sure we had a great experience with some crepes, and this café was highly recommended so we decided to give it a try. We were seated quickly outside on the patio, and we all enjoyed both sweet and savory crepes. The food was delicious, the service was quick, and it really hit the spot! They make their own cola which was different but delicious. Would highly recommend!

Yelp
My mother in law said if there was one thing we should make sure to eat in France, it was a galette. Stopping into the BREIZH Café Odéon location on a rather hot day we enjoyed making use of the covered outdoor seating. I ordered the beef pastrami traditional galette, which also included cheese, onions, and cabbage. It was mouthwateringly delicious. Galettes in the US are sweet and small, like a tart, but a french galette is more like thinly fried injera which - similar to a crepe, holds meat and other ingredients. The service was helpful, the seating was plentiful, and we enjoyed our meal. All in all, we would definitely return on our next trip to Paris!
google avatar

Marsha J.

Yelp
Plenty of outdoor seating and indoor seating. Service was quick. Service spoke English and French. Food was great but a little on the pricey side compared to other cafés, but we were in a touristy area. Loved the multiple crepe and galette options. Great drink list as well. Would recommend given how unique the options are.

Yelp
Great crepes. Great atmosphere. Good service. As an American tourist, which was apparent due to language , the request for the tip came with the bill. I was not happy with that. 5 stars for food and 2 stars for the tip gouge since a service charge comes with the bill. To be fair, this occurred at the location in the Marais. Average of 3 star review.

Yelp
Here for a friend reunion dinner with a group of six. The service is efficient, attentive, and knowledgeable. The restaurant offers both rolled and flat sarrasin crêpes that are great for brunch or light dinner. Decent artichoke, wakame crêpe that I switched to flat instead of rolls. Everyone enjoyed their owns. Rich and creamy matcha, sarrasin gelato. One friend raved about his dessert crêpe with the rum infused gelato(didn't get the name unfortunately). The cider is light and crisps. Apparently is a popular choice by many.

Yelp
What a fabulous experience!! My bestie and I were visiting and wanted some amazing crepes. This restaurant had great reviews so we decided to try. We were able to quickly get a table which was amazing. The service was also fantastic and we got great recommendations for our meals. The food.... oh I still dream about it. The crepes were soooooo good! So fresh, so filling, wonderful combinations of ingredients. It was a fantastic experience, and I will definitely return!
google avatar

Reh L.

Yelp
The crepes here were delicious! I really enjoyed their buttery caramel, and the chantilly was light and fluffy. The caramel crepe with ice cream was the best as it was bursting with vanilla.
google avatar

Kristin B.

Yelp
Excellent crepes with great choices. Espresso was also great. The service was friendly and fast. We had a great experience here. Definitely recommend! Plenty of seating outdoor and indoor as well.
google avatar

Yelp
Food: Crêpes here are AMAZING. Best crêpes I have ever had in my life, so fresh! You need to get both sweet AND savory when you get here, soooo yum! Service: Food is very fast, servers and staff all speak English. Ambiance: We came for dinner 2 days and it gets very busy in the evenings. Recommend making a reservation beforehand. There is both outdoor and indoor seating available, but only one bathroom.

Yelp
Still amazing after all these years. Got the cured ham this trip, which is still my favorite. My wife got the smoked salmon, which is also great, but I'm not the biggest fan of the salmon/goat cheese combo.
google avatar

Cindy S.

Yelp
I made a reservation for two here online while en route to the restaurant. The gentleman at the hostess stand initially thought I didn't have a reservation, but was kind and welcoming anyway. Really enjoyed my food here and thought the service was exceptional. They do have a menu translated into English and can provide it to you upon request. Lovely space inside!
google avatar

Marie S.

Yelp
It was above average at 3.5/5. I ordered the Magret de Canarde Fume(smoked duck breast) galette. It was ok. The serving was unexpectedly above average, however, I didn't really taste the smoked duck breast. Also, there were only 3-4 little strips of duck breast in my galette which was probably why I didn't get a lot of flavor. It is conveniently located in Odeon and near the metro. Had pleasant interactions with the servers, although, they forgot to serve our drinks. It was very busy and I would go back and try a different galette.
google avatar

Rena W.

Yelp
Amazing!! Savory was the right move, outside is crunchy and the cheese is perfect. They had a really great cider as well. They sometimes have a line but generally seat you quickly. Have outdoor seating options!
google avatar

David M.

Yelp
This cozy little place was hopping! We got a couple of chairs at the bar and got a ring-side view of the kitchen where the team of chefs and servers kept the assembly line running efficiently. I had my crepe with a generous dose of Grand Marnier, and my companion went with a savoury option: buckwheat with fried egg and mushrooms. Both were excellent. Also a good selection of ciders.
google avatar

Yelp
A great place to try the unique buckwheat crepes of Brittany. We've enjoyed this restaurant since it first opened in a tiny Latin Quarter spot. Fresh ingredients, casual dinner, welcoming service. Note: for some reason we don't understand, this place uses an American style credit card machine that will prompt you to add a hefty tip.... this is not a welcomed feature, although you can just decline the prompt. Tipping is the customer's prerogative, not an expectation.

Yelp
Breizh Café in Paris is a go-to destination for savory galettes, offering a taste of Brittany in the heart of the city. Breizh Café's savory galettes are a culinary delight, with each bite transporting diners to the shores of Brittany. Made with buckwheat flour and filled with a variety of delicious ingredients, these galettes are both hearty and satisfying. Breizh Café delivers an authentic taste of Brittany with its savory galettes, making it a must-visit for those craving a taste of France's northwest coast.

Yelp
We decided to stop by this café since it's conveniently located just a few steps from the subway, and it has become my go-to brunch destination. The café has a lovely atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing break or brunch, and it also serves as a charming spot for tourists to enjoy coffee and a good book. The staff were very accommodating, taking the time to explain the menu options. Everything here is creatively transformed into a crepe, and we particularly love the smoked duck galette and the goat cheese with sautéed vegetables. The Breizh rolls are also a must-try. We've been exploring wine pairings, and the server has recommended some excellent ciders that seem to be quite popular. Their dessert crepes are equally tempting, especially the strawberry rhubarb and chocolate with ice cream. This place has such a great vibe.

Yelp
I visited with a friend last week, and we loved our dining experience here. The menu offers a good range of savory to sweet crepes as well as different folded variations of crepes. We ordered the brown sugar yuzu butter crepe and smoked duck fillet raclette. The crepes were out within ten minutes of ordering despite it being prime dinner time. The crepes were super thin and so appetizing. There was a good amount of filling included per crepe as advertised, but the portions were overall a little less than what I'm used to. We loved the menu items that we chose and would visit again to try more of their menu! We were given caramel candies with our bill, and they were amazing. We asked the waiter where they sourced it, and they actually make the salted caramel bonbons in house and sell it in the interior of the restaurant! Would highly recommend grabbing a bag. The service was amazing as well, with all the waiters being super responsive and friendly. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting the area or wanting to try crepes in Paris!

Yelp
The best crepes in Paris! Hands down! They have a wide variety of crepe selection to choose from. Service, ambiance and location was perfect! I normally don't go for savory crepes, but I had to give it a try since I was in Paris and Breizh Café exceeded my expectations!
google avatar

Andrea S.

Yelp
I was blown away by the ham and cheese galette with plain butter. It's like a crepe folded in a different way and was toasted perfectly. The ham and cheese with the egg go together with the galette perfectly. I also ordered a yuzu butter crepe for dessert but the butter tasted like plain butter. They may have given me the wrong butter or the yuzu butter tastes like regular butter. The crepe was amazing too.
google avatar

Evan D.

Yelp
I don't like crepes nor gallettes much but these were quite good. Place was super busy but squeezed in a table and enjoyed the raclette and ham crepe, the smoked duck crepe and the salted caramel crepe. All three were good but I especially liked the sweet one. Good pear cider too. Will definitely be back to either this one or the one near Les Halles
google avatar

Diana N.

Yelp
Made reservations a few days in advance for an outdoor table (since the weather had been gorgeous!) and the food and ambiance didn't disappoint! Pros: - our family tried 3 savory crepes (cured ham and cheese and egg crepe, pork belly crepe and the lobster avocado breizh roll) - the lobster and avocado was out fave - the banana, chocolate, vanilla ice cream crepe was really good (the bananas were carmelized) - some items come with salad or you can order a side dish (generous portion) of a salad that is fresh and delicious... the wasabi dressing was really goos - service was more prompt than other restaurants in Paris - outdoor seating was lovely and great for people watching Cons: - can't think of any!
google avatar

Yelp
Some of the best Brettone-style crepes you can get. Breizh Cafe has been a favorite for almost a decade now and I usually squeeze in multiple trips whenever I'm in Paris. Here's what you should know: 1. Get the bottle of cider. You know you want to do it. 2. I don't think I've ever had a less than delicious crepe here. The savory ones are top notch. 3. 12/10 people watching. 4. For those that need an English menu (or one in another language), it is availble. I dream of this place all the time and wish it were closer so I can swing by more ofter. Bookmark this on your list of places to go if you want crepes.

Will C.

Yelp
Odd food - kind of a fusion of French (galette), American (peanut butter sauce?), and Japanese. The galette was served like a sushi roll! Quite tasty, but odd.
google avatar

Yelp

Yelp
This spot was recommended by a high school friend who had been living in Paris for 4 years now as a great nearby spot to get crepes. As you know, crepes are famous in Paris but in so many places, you find the kinds of crepes you might find in the US or elsewhere. Not to say there's anything wrong, I'm all for an Akihabara sweet crepe wrapped in a thin cardboard holder overflowing with ice cream, bananas and whipped cream, but that is most definitely not what made French crepes famous. I love the atmosphere at Breizh because you can instantly tell it's a local favorite. Of course, there are tourists, but they only have certain menus in French. The staff is as friendly as it gets, and their food comes out super fast. I loved all of their signature crepes, definitely ate too many, but particularly the mushroom one was amazing. Definitely come early, or make a reservation. While we were dining and they were busy, people were just getting turned away.
google avatar

Marc S.

Yelp
Good is plain Service is slow to absent but nice when present. The crepes themselves are thin an without any specific taste a bit dry. Location is good.
google avatar

Mazarine P.

Yelp
Delicious, ORIGINAL crepes and definitely worth the visit when in Vincennes! I have had crepes throughout the country, but these were the most interesting, and nicely presented I've ever had. The ingredients paired wonderful on all the three gallettes we had. It has a nice ambience in the interior, a little like a cavern, and the exterior has a charming street to enjoy, if you are able to get a spot. 20h dinner tends to get crowded for street seating. ****
google avatar

Lauren L.

Yelp
Tried this place because of the high recommendation for "the best crepe". Place is small and seats are close so be prepared to cram to your next door neighbor. There was a line and about a 35 minute wait. For the price point I feel like it should've been bigger. Maybe it was just the dish I ordered. I ended up getting one of the "chef specials" from the separate menus. Was good but not sure if I'd return.
google avatar

Caroline K.

Yelp
Came here based on the reviews, loved it so much we came back the next night too!! We only came for the crepes and a glass of wine and we were not disappointed! Cute area and everyone speaks English! The Crepe with the homemade chocolate sauce is a MUST!!!! i cleaned my plate. Can't speak to the dinner, but it was packed and there was a pretty long wait unless you're okay to sit outside. No heaters outside, so bring a jacket!
google avatar

Kris D.

Yelp
For what they do, they do well! I have never tasted a "black wheat" crepe dish such as this and the flavors, including the dry-aged cheese, were amazing. You wait a fair amount of time for your galette to be prepared but that's what makes it special and good (love the European way of dining). Very friendly wait staff who provide great menu suggestions and a fun location with both inside and outside seating.

Kathleen A.

Yelp
Hands down the most delectable caramel crepe ever! Cocktails were a little pricey, though. However, would definitely go back.
google avatar

Zermin A.

Yelp
Overly hyped! Underwhelming and definitely doesn't scream Paris! I guess I expected so much! I guess if you are looking for the organic healthy crepes, this would be your spot! But don't go here for tasty good Paris crepes!

Bailee R.

Yelp
I went here once and it was a great experience. I've come back twice and it's always chaos. Once I sat down at an open table in the mid afternoon and the server was obviously annoyed about it so I left. I come back today and waited to be seated, only to have someone else come and sit at the table while I was waiting for permission from the staff. Whoever is managing this place needs to consider the insistence to require a designated host to seat people: it's not really working out. It's a cafe, just let people sit and you'll have customers.
google avatar

Rebecca N.

Yelp
We went here for lunch while in Paris (before visiting the Catacombs). Recommend making a reservation to sit inside otherwise it looked like tables outside might be an option. The crepes were delicious..one savory and 2 sweet. The service was great too. Overall highly recommend especially since they have many locations that should accommodate anyone really well.
google avatar

Jessica D.

Yelp
Beware the andouillette! I believe it was a special. It was special, alright. I was expecting a crepe with cute little andouille sausages. What I got literally made me gag. Andouillette, it turns out, is the large intestine of the pig, and it tastes exactly like you would expect a colon to taste. This was my first time trying a crepe, and after that, I couldn't even look at crepes. Service was fine, and everyone else seemed to like their crepes, hence the five star rating, but I don't think I can ever eat crepes again, I am that scarred.
google avatar

Kristen B.

Yelp
Delightful café! It does get extremely busy at dinner so you need to have some patience. The chorizo and cheese appetizer was so good! And the dessert was incredible- we had the one with apples and caramel.
google avatar

Eejay M.

Yelp
Highly recommend this place. Absolutely amazing food and great atmosphere. Came here for our last lunch in Paris and we were wowed by the great service and amazing food!

Landis K.

Yelp
As an American on vacation, I found this to be a delightful casual crepe spot at a pleasant intersection in Saint Germain. Very accessible and fair value.
google avatar

Jade L.

Yelp
Walked by this place several times on the way to my hotel this trip. On the last evening we decided to try these crepes as our last meal in Paris before heading home. What a pleasant surprise! Great oysters, fantastic crepes, great view, a little pricey for crepes but it was totally worth it. Do the plats du jour for a better deal if you like the daily special.
google avatar

Lala T.

Yelp
My galette was so oily I didn't want to finish it. Perhaps this is the style. On a late Saturday morning, the customers were overwhelmingly tourists. Service was fine; I felt sorry for the patron next to me who didn't finish her salad and was scolded by the person who cleared her plates. The cider is exceptional--it deserves 5 stars on its own.

B. G.

Yelp
Lovely, simple perfectly made crepes in Montmartre. At an intersection for great people watching.
google avatar

Drew P.

Yelp
Food was great, tried oysters for the first time ever and they were great. Service was excellent with the waiter able to speak both French and English. Would recommend this place to visitors.
google avatar

Marq C.

Yelp
5 stars for the most amazing crepes I've ever had, location, service, great crepe selection, and ambiance. Super cute ambiance with English speaking servers, although their menu is strictly in French, the server was more than willing to help translate. They offer sweet and savory crepes and trust me, they're all AMAZING! How can anyone make crepes this good? They literally taste like it fell from heaven. I had the ham, onion (caramelized), and egg. It was magnifique! Every corner of this squared crepe is covered in cheese! YASSSS!!! The bf got the banana, salted caramel, and ice cream crepe and that was even more fantastic! Best ever! Thank you, crepe master! I can't wait to return!
google avatar

Yelp
The best crepes I have ever had! And i eat a lot of crepes. We are visiting from California, USA The people were so friendly. The butter from Brittany is to die for! How do I get this recipe!! I definitely recommend Breizh Café.
