Came here two nights in a row. I love the atmosphere. The aesthetic is really nice, simple, and classy. Bartenders were great. Andrew and Alex were definitely entertaining and kept great conversations with everyone. The drinks they made were great. Also the other customers are very friendly and it felt like a great community spot to hang around met really nice people and got great hugs lol. If you’re looking for a great night out Brennan’s is a great spot. Also don’t forget to tip your servers and bartenders🙂

Upscale-ish and cozy cocktail bar with enough food options to let you skip dinner. The drink menu changes frequently enough to keep it fresh and they can make anything you're looking for. Great spot for after work, or after dinner.

Truthfully, it's probably the best establishment in St. Louis. The atmosphere is second to nobody. The food, the service, and the drinks are all more delicious than you'll ever ask for. The bartenders are epic. Ask for Jacob the bartender, ask for Franny, but anyone coming to your table or serving you a drink is immeasurably amazing. I moved here from Miami, FL. This place competes with them. Have a cigar, or bring a friend, a date, your spouse, or your boss. If you're reading this review, know that I am a restaurant owner myself. I rarely miss a week coming to Brendan's. Enjoy.

Classy, chill ambience. Bar area id a bit loud, but side room with couches is cozy. Cocktails are on point.

My 1st time in there, I really didn't feel welcomed. Blonde server didn't even smile, took order and asked for card b4 I couldn't even decide if I wanted to start a tab or close or. Male bartender and the other female server were more inviting. The knocked the chill out the atmosphere, so I ordered another drink. The establishment in a couple blocks from home, yet, I'll probably drive a short distance further for my next drink and fresh air!

Unfortunately last week I had to send my diva dog over, The Rainbow Bridge. I was sad, but I wanted to celebrate her life. So, a friend and I decided to belly up to the bar at Brennan's. We lifted our glasses multiple times to her amazing life. I am a drinker of classic cocktails, so my drinks of the afternoon were; Dirty Martini, Manhattan and Old Fashioned. They were all made superbly. I asked one of the bartenders how long he had been mastering his craft and he responded, one year. He's got a great career ahead of him, he made me some great cocktails. When drinking, it's always good to have a little nosh, to mix with the alcohol. We munched on their Potato Chips and Caramelized French Onion Dip. The chips were house made and crispy. However, the dip was a disappointment for me. We also had the, Black Truffles Flatbread and it was excellent. On my return, I will definitely be ordering it again. Brennan's is a great place to day drink. The atmosphere is classy and relaxing. I'm kinda glad I moved out of STL, because being retired and having a lot of free time, I'd be here doing a lot of day drinking. Now, I can treat myself to a cocktail when I'm in town running errands. If you haven't been, you need to go experience Brennan's.

I really like Brennans, I really enjoy the atmosphere but this time I had a visit I did not like it what so ever. Our server was a blonde girl (never got her name). She was not attentive, she made it seem like it was a problem we were there… we had two people come in a little bit after we showed up and after she dropped off our drinks she then asked for all of our IDs. Very unprofessional. The other staff on the other hand were very nice! We asked the brunette woman for our check because we could not track down our server. Brunette bartender was very very sweet!

went for a 50th birthday party that was set in advance but.. owner failed at recording the event. Star behind the bar definitely made up for the owners irresponsibility. star rocked it!!!

Super cute place for drinks. Came on a Saturday and it was pretty busy but we were able to snag a table. Had a great vibe but was a little loud. For food, we got chicken tacos, dumplings, and the jalapeño honey flatbread. The flatbread was an absolute stand out and we need to go back and get it again. The tacos weren't the best and we would not order them again. The drinks were also good.

went on a friday night! pretty busy but lots of seating. loved the dark and moody vibes. they have seating outside as well. if you're a true espresso martini girly don't order theirs is a bit diabolical. i will say some of their tables were sticky and since so many people were coming and going it was a little hard for the workers to get to clean. the crowd here was the typical 25+ girlies. some couples and groups. a little more upscale the drink menu didn't wow me personally. there was only one drink i even considered trying. they do have a decent amount of small bites though

Brennan's is such an intimate date spot. Go earlier as it can get crowded and has limited seating. The Pineapple Daiquiri is so good, so sweet! The Shrubbubbles was not my favorite drink (good if you like champagne!). The small plates are also excellent, I recommend the Spicy Coppa Flatbread!

This is a very cute spot! Came here for the drinks as I am not a cigar smoker, but the drinks were still great. They have an impressive wall of liquors, including what looks like whiskeys on tap! Interesting menu of cocktails, including good take on classics and some very inventive drinks (my friend let me try her beet cocktail and it definitely had a lot of jalapeno in it -- I could smell the jalapeno). That said, I really enjoyed my martini. It was phenomenal! Possibly one of the best martinis I've ever had. Very dirty martini, but with complexity from the different types of brine. A tiny bit of heat from the dried chili, dill and pearl onions nicely compliment the briny umami flavors. So delicious! Highly recommend coming here for a drink or two - preferably at the bar, so you can admire their wall of liquors!

Wonderful bar with light food. We wanted to eat light to begin with, and had left a grill since no one was really waiting on us there. This place was perfect. My husband enjoyed his cold stout and I enjoyed a nice chardonnay. We split a shrimp salad (very good) and had some tasty pork dumplings. Would recommend is looking for something light, fit and welcoming.

This place is super cool! I love the design with funny sayings and even funny art in the bathrooms. It is a little small, so I would bet a lot of days if fills up pretty quickly! The servers are frequently returning to help, but they are not overly chatty which is nice. They refill water regularly and they can answer questions about the drinks. It is fun to watch the bartenders make cocktails, as well! I ordered the Corpse Reviver #2, a cocktail I already knew I liked. It was great! I definitely recommend stopping in for a drink.

Brennans has everything a bar needs - great drinks, tasty snacks, friendly service, and an awesome vibe. This place really picks up towards the end of the week and it would be a rarity to see an empty table in the evening. The food is very good and well portioned. The drinks, while tasty, aren't groundbreaking and are quite safe, making this the perfect bar for beginners to the cocktail world or just those looking for a good time in a classy looking environment. The staff is friendly; however, can be a bit slow later in the night. Overall, a super fun bar to start a night out with or grab a drink after dinner. 100% worth a visit especially if you live near or in the CWE. *Pro tip, book the event ticket for Halloween in CWE!

It was super crowded on a Friday night but we were able to get a table. It's a small, comfortable place that can get pretty loud. Cocktails are very strong! Was hoping to try some food but the kitchen was closed. Great spot for a date night!

Brendan's in the Central West End of St Louis is a friendly establishment for your drinking pleasure. Our group stopped for a nightcap and were greeted by Andrew. He seated our group of 6 and promptly provided us some water while we reviewed the extensive list of spirits , beer and wines. He returned, took our drink order and promptly returned with our selections. For a late Sunday evening the place was hopping and all the patrons were enjoying the friendly atmosphere and each others company. Thanks for a good time Andrew. Next time we're in St Louis we'll make it a point to stop by. If you're in the area, you should too

Absolutely love this bar. First off the ambiance is amazing. Love the dimmed lights and the vibes are amazing coming in. They always have a great playlist going. The food is really good. They are small portions but that was enough to fill us up. The service was really good and the food. Will def be back for more drinks

Love me some Brennan's. The vibes, the drinks, the people, the bathrooms. Yes, the bathrooms. Keep reading you will understand the allure. Brennan's is nestled in the heart of the Central West End and the interior is insanely moody. But, the crowds are lively. Dark colors adorn the walls with mirrors and décor while the dim lights create dramatic and exaggerated shadows. Quite prohibitionist, it is wonderful. The drinks are great. Brennan's has what I consider to be the best Old Fashioned in the City. They make it a bit sweeter than the average old fashioned which I prefer, so if you are an old fashioned naturalist it may not be up to your standards. I also rolled with a smoky the pear. Wow, this thing was beautiful. The smokiness of the mezcal was accentuated perfectly by the slightly sweet nuances of the pear. Absolutely a top tier cocktail. Craft and balance are at the forefront of Brennan's bar program. Now, the moment you have been waiting for: the bathrooms. Some may feel uncomfortable as you have the eyes of hundreds of celebrities staring at you while you use the restroom, but I love it. Every inch of the bathroom walls have celebrity yearbook photos, which is just a wonderful ode to St. Louis culture. I always try to name as many celebrities as possible. It is a fun little game to play while washing your hands. Brennan's is an incredible date night spot, celebration spot, or anywhere in between. Low key, vibey, and boozy. The makings for a memorable night.

One of my absolute favorite cocktail places. The menu is great and the bartenders are always really knowledgeable if you want any other drink. Beets by J is a personal favorite. And the food is incredible! Highly recommend their Monday happy hour. Get there early because it's not a very big place

I came here on a Friday night with a couple of coworkers to celebrate the weekend and for one of them, who was leaving for another opportunity in another city. It was a going-away get-together. The night we came here was super busy, and there was no open table since it was a busy Friday night. However, the host informed us that for $25, we could go to their cigar bar and lounge and buy a cigar and pay the fee, so we just did that. The cigar bar was nice. It was on the second floor with a private entrance, where the host escorted you to the bar. The cigar bar was spacious, like the same floor surface of the first floor, without the rush of crowded people. You have a bar and bartenders exclusively for the cigar bar, and the fee was worth it, especially when trying to avoid the weekend rush. All the drinks that we ordered that night were strong and delicious! I highly recommend this bar if you are in the CWE area. Cheers!

This is one of my favorite cocktail bars in Saint Louis. It is a cozy little spot with fun drinks and great vibes. I always bring visitors here on the STL tour and it is a go to for my local friends as well. The charcuterie board is my favorite bite, well worth the price for a small group. And how fun is the bathroom? Covered in pictures of celebrities' high school photos. The staff are very attentive and the bartenders are phenomenal.

This is one of my favorite spots to grab a cocktail at. Typically, I sit at the bar and Alexandro takes care of me. It's honestly so entertaining watching him bartend because he's literally just that good. I've never seen anything like it. He can make anything you want but do not get me started on his old fashioned or spicy margaritas. Way too good. I leave there feeling buzzed and very pleased.

THE GOAT CHEESE APP IS TO DIE FOR! The dirty martinis are also amazing. Expect it to be busy, especially on the weekend, but rest assured that it's worth it.

Delicious cocktails and a swanky vibe, this place is awesome to grab a cocktail, cigar and snack! We sat inside at the bar, but they had a good amount of outside seating to enjoy the weather. We strongly recommend trying a few cocktails. They have batch cocktails to go as well. Service is phenomenal and the bartenders are genuine, kind and great conversationalists. Awesome experience!

This is always the best place to stop for cocktails. They have high quality drinks and a huge selection of different liqueurs. The bartenders are very talented. It is very moody and well decorated inside.

We had a great time at Brennan's. The short rib flatbread was insanely delicious. Please keep that on the menu!! We also got the dumplings and could have had 100 more, especially after a few yummy dranks. Service was fun and "Cocktail" movie style bartending. Ambiance was loud at first, but calmed down after a large group left. We will be back.

Absolutely wonderful spot! Stopped in yesterday for a little happy hour when they opened at 3. The ambiance and interior of the place is what dreams are made of. Great spot for a date. Tried their spicy margarita and the vodka elderflower cocktail and both were phenomenal. They have a great drink menu. For apps we had the chips and onion dip as well as the chicken flatbread. Both were delicious and came out quickly. They have a large bar with some seating and tables in the main area- the other side has more seating like couches, loungey type of area. The service was great too. Surprised I had never been here before- highly recommend!

Amazing spot! We walked to Brennan's after an event at 100 Above the Park- what a special little spot. When I say it's little- it's little :) that's what makes up part of its charm! The ambiance is classy and has a low glow to it. Tables have candles and are located along the right side of the bar. They also have a back room as well, which I didn't get a sneak peek of. We got a table for 4, and were greeted by our server with waters. The group ended up getting cocktails and I got a glass of cab. Cocktails were amazing, as I had a sip of them. Definitely will go that route next time. The table next to us had food that looked delicious, so may come here to eat next time as well. There was quite a crowd when we were leaving- this spot fills up fast! I suggest going a bit earlier in the evening if you want a better chance at snagging a seat.

So cozy and cool! We haven't been to Brennan's since they reopened, and we had the best night drinking cocktails & snacking on their amazing apps. My group tried the Lavender Sidecar, New York Sour, Smokey the Pear, and Don't Worry About It- our favs were hands down the Smokey the Pear, a delicious mezcal concoction with a little kick of Serrano pepper, and the Don't Worry About It, the perfect balance of bourbon, ginger & lemon. The apps were amazing! We tried the smoked salmon latke and the black garlic pizza. They don't take reservations, so go early or expect to wait a bit for a table if you go during peak times on the weekends. But they do have room to stand and sip on drinks while you wait for a table or spot at the bar!

I came to Brennans in The Central West End on a late night after dinner. I loved that they were open pretty late in the middle of the week since you can't find that often! I was shook when I walked in & saw the most chill vibes. You walk in & there's couches with tables to hangout with your friends if you didn't want to sit at a table or the bar. The thing that caught my eye was the bar. The way they have their bottles of liquor on tap was so intriguing to me! They have a perfectly curated cocktail menu! I got the Lavender sidecar which was amazing if you like Cognac! My friends got the Manhattan & the Smokey & the Pear which I will definitely be getting next time! Make sure to try out this dark lowkey vibey cocktail bar! You won't be disappointed.

It's giving sexy speakeasy vintage library vibes. The dark walls and decor with ambient illumination is alluring. Perfect for date night or going out with the ladies. We had Brennans a Signature charcuterie board it was delicious. Potato chips with caramelized French onion dip, also very good. The star of the show is the Beet Martini. I've just gone back for a round of those. So many options for upscale fares and Spirits. Service has always been fantastic. It does get busy and loud. Parking is 50/50 I've been able to get close parking and have also walked a block or two.

Went here for drinks and was not disappointed. They had a very unique selection and I really liked mine. I had the I wanna get buzzed but I don't want to drink, drink. Love the unique names and the great presentation of the drinks. I would definitely come back here.

Great drink selection with some unique options but every cocktail/most wine is $12+ and the drink portions are small for that price, in my opinion. Servers were nice and we enjoyed the small outdoor seating area on a nice day. Plenty of seating inside but for a weekday night they were surprisingly busy inside.

Stopped in to Brennan's for a cocktail before date and was surprised by the ambiance. It was intimate, sophisticated, yet casual... My jalepeno margarita was perfectly made and my boyfriend enjoyed the beer selection. All whisky lovers would love it here for their vast selection. Would come back to check out the food menu.

I'm not sure what's up with the four stars! We needed a little date night after the excitement of our wedding weekend, and this sounded like the spot for me, so we gave it a try. First of all, the aesthetic is SO cool. We're bourbon drinkers, but my husband also loves an occasional scotch and Japanese whiskey. They had IT ALL. Walls worth of liquor and so many amazing options. Their spread was amazing and so cool to look at. All the liquor ON TAP was also so unique! We just sat at the bar in awe at how cool this place is. We will definitely be back Now to the menu - the drinks were phenomenal. If we could sit here all night trying every single one, we would. And we probably will one day. These are try bartenders, making unique and very tasty cocktails. The food - also wow. We shared a few plates and it was so hard to choose what we wanted. Everything looked so good, props to the chef for such a carefully curated menu. We can't wait to try more off of it. We ended up with Tomitican Sauce & Goat Cheese, dumplings, and my husband got a taco. The deal of the day was free hummus. EVERYTHING WAS SO GOOD. Holy moly. We will absolutely be back and will be telling everyone about it. SO GOOD.

I quite like Brennans. The spot definitely feels like where young yuppies go to be seen and gets extremely crowded but the service is fast and the cocktails are good.

Went here for an impromptu date night and it is such a special place!! Dim lighting but also cozy vibes made it feel so romantic. Drinks were PHENOMENAL, not too sweet and fairly strong. We came at a happy hour time and got complimentary hummus and naan with our dinner order which was a great deal. Would love to keep going back and try all their cocktails. Great for date night, would recommend!

Came on a Friday afternoon after work, 5pm, sat at the bar. The vibe on the opposite side of the bar is super cool library/study feels, and that's where I would sit next time. They had some great cocktails! I suggest coming early to snag a good seat - it's small on both sides. Not sure about other days but there were no happy hour deals on food or drink. That said, everything we tried was good. I tried the Smokey the Pear Mezcal Cocktail, which was tasty and served up (no ice). They batch their cocktails to speed up service as 70% of booze sales are cocktails according to bartender. I couldn't tell a difference and thought they tasted great. We tried the pretzels with Irish beer cheese appetizer. They were served piping hot and tasty. Portion size was 2 smaller bites for $8-9 bucks; I could have used 3. Service - it was ok. They were busy. Bartender asks for a credit card immediately upon first drink order to keep track of your tab. This is probably coached by management and is a best practice but it seemed transactional (hey I need a cc) vs. with a smile (could I please get a cc?). It's all about server vocal tone on that initial question/request. There was little to no bartender conversations with customers that I noticed. But hey it's Friday night, and again, they were busy cranking cocktails. If I'm comparing the bar service / personalities to say an O+O pizza or a Frazer's (what I consider a comparable cocktail establishments) I'd give the service win to O+O or Frazer's. I'd give a 3 way tie on cocktail quality. Side note, they do sell cigars by the front host stand. If I was to come back during nice weather, I would order a cigar and smoke it outside. Overall, take a date here for cocktails and do your best to sit on the opposite side of the bar! I'll be back again!

Awesome cocktail bar on Euclid. They have 25% off drinks every Monday, which happened to be the day we went. It has a cool laid back vibe. Bartenders were friendly and helpful. There are a few rooms, including a cigar bar. They have a decent whiskey list, but nothing I would say is hard to find. Cocktails were well balanced and tasty. They have a full menu, which looked good, but we didn't get any food. This is one spot I would return to in St Louis.

This is a members only cigar lounge but they have a main bar area and green room open to the public for small plates and drinks. We had drinks in green room. I really loved the vibe. The lighting is low with 2010s hip hop playing the night we went (Friday). We sat ourselves and shortly after a server came over with menus. We ordered the If I Did It, Jalapeño Margarita, Lavender Sidecar, and the Wake me Up, F me Up. Everyone loved their drinks. I tried the If I Did It, Lavender Sidecar and Jalapeño Margarita. Not a fan of hot, spicy drinks (unless it's a Bloody Mary) so the Margarita was a no for me. The other 2 were delicious. They only have 1 bathroom and it was clean. I'd definitely return to Brennan's for drinks again!

Love love love this spot for cocktails and small bites in CWE! I haven't had any food there yet but the menu looks wonderful! The cocktails here are aweeesome and so reasonably priced! The overall vibe is very fun and decorated nicely. The bathrooms are so cool haha - weird thing to notice but both are not only clean but have fun themes! I love to try any new ones but my favorites would have to be: I Wanna Get Buzzed, Aviation, and I Used to be Tacky Parking is all street parking - so depending on when you arrive, it can be a bit tricky but the walk isn't too bad as it's mainly residential and restaurants

The bar/restaurant was seat yourself, and we picked a lovely booth in the back room. A server came to our table immediately, and our cocktails were brought out in a timely manner. The cocktail list was a great length--had something for everyone. We ordered the charcuterie board, and it was plentiful and delicious. Great location, too!

We went to Brennan's on a Saturday night and I feel like we were lucky to get a table inside! We were there kind of early because we had an early dinner reservation. It was packed but we found a table big enough for 6. We just ordered drinks and a late night snack. It was really loud and hard to hear with a group that big, but that's alright. The drinks and service were good! It's a great place in the Central West End to go for before or after dinner drinks

Brennan's in the Central West End is our Monday spot and they don't care where you went to high school First, they open at 3:00. Second, they're open everyday! Finally, we love them because they are #stlouispescatarianapproved @stlouispescatarians on instagram. Our options...their smoked salmon, shrimp and arugula salad and tuna tartare! The chips and dip app is solid as well!

Brennan's is a great spot for cocktail enthusiast! It is located in The Central West End on Euclid right before you cross over Maryland going towards Starbucks. I love the new location and look. A quaint little intimate cocktail bar with plenty of character. I discovered late, that Monday was the best kept Happy Hour Secret...........25% off cocktails.......say whaaaaaaaatttttt!?!?! YES! Go for the drinks but definitely stay for the food. I absolutely love their zucchini and squash flat bread!!! A must order with a side of hummus to dip in (trust me). It is enough pizza to share but you'll wish you hadn't. This is my favorite item on the menu hands down. The chicken dumplings are quite tasty as well and the charcuterie board doesn't disappoint but that flat bread pizza is filled with soo much eeewwwyyy goooeeeyyy goodness I usually have to order a second. The crust is light and chewy and the flavor combination of the veggies and cheese is awesome but I'm telling you, if you want to kick it up a notch, order a side of their hummus to spread on top.....mind blown!!! I love their olive tapenade as well but the last time I went they didn't have it. The drinks are delish, well crafted and simply delightful. If you do not see something on the menu to your liking, they are more than happy to concoct something special for you. There are two areas to sit inside, both VERY different. I prefer the atmosphere of the second bar. It's more seductive and chill. Either area is laid back but I like the vibes coming from the sexy side. They also offer outdoor seating as well. A great place to meet friends, hangout with co-workers or chill on a date. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The only draw back is parking sucks!!!! Get there early enough to catch a spot out front at the meter or park for free on Maryland and walk. Did I mention they offer my new favorite novelty.......cocktails to-go and in various sizes.

I came here for New Year's Eve night, and I had a wonderful time! The drinks and service was incredible! The 2000s throwback playlist made the night even better!

Really loved the vibe of this chic lounge space and had been eyeing a few menu items. I was a little bummed the pierogi was no longer being offered (mostly because we were starving and it was the one thing I was certain of when the server came over). It took them awhile to come back and take our order. Luckily when the next person brought over our cocktails they asked if we needed anything else and we made sure to get water. The veggie flatbread was delicious. Love the funny bathroom signs that covered the walls! Really bummed when we tried to get more food only to be the told the kitchen had literally just closed with no warning. All in all the atmosphere was cozy and artfully curated and the cocktails were stellar. Food was on point but the one server we had was less than impressive and totally killed the mood by not providing better attention to detail.

The new space is so funky and cool and cozy. One oh my friends walked in and said she wanted to move in! Great cocktail & wine menu and the music paired well with a Saturday afternoon storm. It's a great space for a date, a girls night, or drinks before/after a wedding.

They offer small plates and cocktails on the menu. We tried Smokey the Pear, Manhattan Rye and Wake me up, F me up. All three drinks were very good. Our favorite was Smokey the Pear. The servers were very polite and attentive despite being extremely full. The food is supposed to be very good and we look forward to coming back to try out the food. This is the perfect neighborhood bar with great drinks and service. We liked the decor and ambiance as well.

Enjoyed the revamped Brennan's in CWE. It's a chic cocktail lounge with good drinks and small plates. A great place for happy hour or date night. Mondays, they have discounted cocktails. Staff wasn't the friendliest, but the COO Gentry was great to talk to! I also loved their high school themed bathroom!
