Brew Brew Coffee & Tea Pilsen

This is a nice spot to park down, hang out, and enjoy your coffee. They offer a bottomless coffee deal for $3.85, and that includes a to-go coffee once you're ready to leave. They have a handful of pastries that probably are not made in-house, but are huge and not expensive (~$2.50). I got the apple fritter, and was very pleased. The seating area is spacious and comfortable, more so than many of the other coffee shops on the main drag in Pilsen. Brew Brew has actual chairs with backs! They have 4 great window seats at a bar that look outside, and then another 5 tables for 2. It looks like they do have a very small outdoor seating area, but I'm not sure what type of table / chair set up they employ there because it was 10 degrees on the day I visited. Other tidbits: WiFi: yes, just ask for the password Outlets: I found one easily up at the window bar Pour Over: they didn't have this available when I went, even though it is on the menu

Great coffee shop that also serves food tea. Super friendly staff and the place has a cozy atmosphere. Try the holiday special Oaxacan Horchata Latte with cantaloupe. Delicious! They also offer a variety of sandwiches and pastry.

If you're looking for a speciality coffee shop in Pilsen, this is the place, they're using Ipsento and PassionHouse coffee, the atmosphere is amazing!

Been here over a dozen times spread over five weeks. First and foremost, the staff are consistently nice. Every person I have seen working there has been really pleasant and they are always doing something seemingly productive. The coffee has always been great. I know that's a subjective preference, and I am pretty ignorant on the flavor profiles coffee can have. My test for whether coffee is "good" is usually met when I can drink a coffee black or with minimal additives. I really enjoy the coffee here. Finally, the tortas and bagels have been fantastic.

Genuinely my favorite coffee shop in Chicago right now! The espresso is great, the seasonal drink variety is great (I miss the cardamom rose summer latte!), the food and pastries are all excellent and the space itself is lovely. I always look forward to the mornings I get to visit.

My one star would easily be a 4 star, but let me explain. My partner and I WERE regulars at this place. We spent 16 dollars 5 days a week at this spot. Do the math, that's around 4k a year (easily paid one of there bills). The coffee is good and the staff are generally polite. However, recently we placed an online and it was mistakenly done at there alternate location. No problem we thought, we paid for our items at the Pilsen location although we already paid online. We figured they would return the money. After speaking with the manager, Chris, I was informed that if they already made the drink I would not get a refund. I told Chris that I was a regular and would be very disappointed if that was the case considering the situation and our frequency of attendance. He informed me that he would look into the situation and get back to me. I was never contacted and did not receive a refund. Brew Brew has just lost two loyal customers and I will also encourage my peers (many of which we referred before) to not go to this establishment because it is clear they do not value their customers. Shame on you.

My favorite place to get coffee in Chicago, hands down! Always recommend to anyone coming to visit Chicago.

brew brew has friendly service, good drinks, nice seating (inside and out). they sell a few coffee accessories like filters. they also sell their whole beans at the counter. they can grind them there for you if you don't have a grinder at home. they often have one natural process coffee. although I haven't eaten the baked goods they look delicious. The sandwiches are okay. they also have a printing station and wifi.

Cute and cozy coffee shop with a great coffee menu and delicious pastries. Lots of seating in a bright space and friendly service. A good spot to have in your back pocket if you're in the area.

My friend and I came across Mandala while exploring Pilsen, and decided to check it out. The space is on the smaller side, but very carefully and thoughtfully decorated. It is a Venezuelan inspired cafe, with cute plates and knick knacks. I decided to order a hazelnut latte made with oat milk. The espresso itself was very bold and smooth, however the hazelnut flavor was a bit too sweet for my taste. I think next time I will ask for half the amount of flavor. My friend ordered the berry bagel with cream cheese and fruit. She said it was delicious! The lady working at the counter was friendly and helpful. The space itself is nice and quiet, perfect for studying or getting some work done. I will definitely be back!

We were recently in the area and were looking for good coffee and a yummy breakfast sandwich. We discovered Mandala Cafe and thoroughly enjoyed it! The entrance and decor are inviting, colorful, and very inviting! The menu is varied with delicious looking baked goods, a fantastic coffee menu, and plenty of more sandwich/entree related items. While you can ask questions from the incredibly kind staff, the primary means of ordering is a large touch screen menu. So sleek, convenient, and simple! Almost every item has a photo along with its name and description, so it is very helpful for visual learners like me! Prices are great, too! My husband got a sausage, egg, and cheese bagel while I got a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant. Both were filling, generous with ingredients, and delicious! They came with side chips, as well! My husband got the Nutella latte and I got the lavender latte. Both were delightfully flavored and hit our coffee spot. The cafe is also a great place to sit and work or catch-up with a friend. The seating area is varied with plenty of spaces to sit. We sat in the window seating and did a little work. The outdoor space looks great for warmer weather, too. We loved our experience at Mandala and we will definitely stop by again next time we are in the neighborhood!

Cute little coffee spot in Pilsen. The cafe de olla latte was really good. Warm slices and sweet enough. The pastries were filled with ham and cheese, which was good and filling. The barista was very friendly and helpful in giving suggestions. Will be back!

First time here. They offer a variety of coffee, tea, as well as a variety of breakfast sandwiches on either a croissant, or 1 of three types of bagels, everything, plain, or cinnamon raisin. I ordered the sausage and egg on a plain bagel. They gave me the everything bagel instead. I usually don't complain anyway, but in this case I will say that got it wrong, but they got it right, if you know what I mean. That everything bagel was on point. The cinnamon roll was good as well. Will definitely be back here.

Was in Pilsen for a Dia de Las Muertas event at the National Museum of Mexican Art and stopped by to caffeinate beforehand. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the iced vanilla latte was delicious and the food looked good (the carrot cake was calling to me!) Come support this local coffee shop and try it yourself!

I needed coffee! Mandala saved the day! I got a mandala coffee with cardamom- fantastic! Croissant warm and buttery- a definite win! Now I know my day's going to be great! Do yourself a favor and check them out!

Try giving this one another try and the workers are just dumb and rude and slow . I wanted 30 for a avalado toast . It's not even busy in here .

I found their signature coffee drink to be weird-- it just didn't work for me, and it didn't help that the lime zest collected at the bottom. Having said that, this place is great! The quality of the coffees and baked goods were outstanding. I had a latte that was perfectly lovely one of the best cheese danishes in recent memory. The employees were great and handled a rush with ease and high quality. Definitely recommend this place!

I tried a lavender oatmilk latte with a hazelnut puff. Both items were amazing and so was the service. Very energetic environment and they had cool merchandise off to the side as well.

Cute cafe with delicious treats, friendly staff, and artsy lattes. I was happily surprised to find a bear in my Nutty latte! They also have other savory bites that I would love to try next time.

Coffee is ready good and at a good price, having said that the cashier there took a call from home in front of me and went to the back as she kept laughing and I'm standing there looking like a fool as there was people behind me, overall really rude service theres a spot a few feet a way with better service and food.

A favorite of mine in pilsen. Great espresso, great food! The service is incredible and it definitely feels like a community coffee spot. Love this place and will keep coming back. I recommend the Mandala Croissant!

I LOVE this café!! The setting is very comfortable. I ordered chai latte which was perfect, and I also had a sandwich, with a few changes I requested for dietary reasons. The server was so kind, he was happy to discuss ingredients in detail with me. The food was prepared with so much care, which I appreciated. I plan to visit Mandala Cafe often and highly recommend it!

The sweetest staff ever! I aways come in on my work from home days for coffee and a quick breakfast. A cute place to work with tons of cozy seating. 100/10
