Love the vibe and comfortable tables. There was live ambient music last I visited on a Saturday morning, and the cappuchino was delicious. I love that they exhibit local art and they have interesting books to browse. I'll be back

I always want to try new coffee shops anywhere I go, and to see what they bring to the table, so my bar for "alright coffee" is pretty low. But everything here, from espresso, to matcha, to pastries, is just plain terrible. We got the almond croissant, lemon poppyseed doughnut, matcha with pistachio milk, latte with whiskey & maple syrup, and a sweet chai with oat milk. The pistachio milk is somehow both sour and bitter, and adding more honey made it somehow worse. The matcha tasted like dirt with just a hint of grass. And the pastries... They were very clearly day old at least, much too hard. But also, how do you make a doughnut taste like shrimp? How? Rebel Bread (their pastry supplier) makes fantastic pastries, we've been there many times, but these were horrible. The service was good, and they did offer to replace the matcha drink when I asked about it, plus the cute decor and live music were beautiful. But I would not come here again.

Best coffee shop in Sloan’s. Huge drink selection, consistently great coffee, and prices that don’t make you cry. The staff is super friendly and familiar, and there’s always plenty of space to hang out. Bonus points for the rotating local kombucha on tap.

Google
Coffee here is top notch ! The atmosphere is so cozy and inviting, perfect for catching up with friends or getting some work done. The staff is always friendly and makes you feel right at home. It's definitely a great go-to spot for a caffeine fix and a little relaxation. Plus, they have beautiful art for sale, like unique resin earrings and stunning canvas frames covered in dried flowers.

Google
Brew Culture is my neighborhood coffee shop and my Go-To spot for local meetups. Great staff, good coffee, and a great atmosphere for both conversation and for work! Tons of natural light from wide windows and almost always has convenient parking, whether you’re coming by car or bike. Highly recommend this spot conveniently located on Colfax.

Google
Awesome place to enjoy a beverage, if you’re coming from the west side it looks closed, but it’s OPEN!! Splendid service, amazing atmosphere, and abundant array of beverage choices. Close to Empower Field and Denver itself! Great place to chill and have a meeting or an intimate moment !!

Google
I love popping in here between facials (work across the street) for my “free day” coffee and treats. Always get good service and a yummy donut while I wait for my coffee. Great spot to chill for a few minutes or a while! Glad my local coffee shop is so close to work!

Caleb Connell

Google
Great selection of coffee drinks and kombucha on tap! Cold brew was delicious. Spacious seating areas with variety of seating styles (high community table, low 4-person tables, bar seating, comfortable couches, and outdoor seating. It can be hard to notice the entrance from the west entrance. The parking lot is smaller and is shared with a neighboring brewery, but there is plenty of street parking if you want to walk a little.

Yelp
Convert a garage into a beautiful coffee shop on gentrified West Colfax and you deserve 5 stars. Add friendly service, great music, good coffee, and tasty breakfast items and you're above and beyond any local business. BCC is the tip of the commercial spear, wrestling W. Colfax away from the homeless, the criminal, the degenerate, and the mentally ill populations that have invaded Denver. They offer a welcoming oasis for the growing neighborhood of young professionals and their families. Bravo!!

Yelp
*note - my review is for a mobile Brew Culture Coffee cart located at an apartment complex* I haven't been into the store but plan on doing so soon. I met Troy (Owner) and he was extremely nice and I imagine this is how he expects his coffee shop to treat his customers. I've tried the Nitro Cold Brew, Kombucha, and Yerba Mate and all were great. The nitro cold brew is full of flavor, strong, and gets you caffeinated! Looking forward to checking out the store. Thank you Troy for setting this mobile unit at the apartment complex.

Yelp
I have been meaning to try this place because it's so close to where I work and not far Away from where I live. I highly recommend checking it out. As soon as you walk in, it has such a lovely vibe. It was super busy on a Thursday morning, with lots of people working meeting, and/or enjoying their coffee. They offer vegan pastries, as well as lots of other food options . I had an oat milk latte, which was delicious! The service was friendly and they seemed very knowledgeable about coffee. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Plenty of staff to give great service experience and gave good recommendations. Plenty of tasty 3rd party food options. We had a burrito, oatmeal, and lastly an almond blueberry pastry that we'd all get again. Loved the rustic decor and plenty of seating to get a little work done. Oh and my cappuccino was delicious!

Yelp
Service was great, friendly and accommodating. Super cute vibe! Coffee did not disappoint T.m

Yelp
Great coffee and pastry options. Lots of seating as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great vibes!

Yelp
Came here from a recommendation. Limited parking on the side and the whole alley way was iced over, so I parked in the neighborhood a couple blocks away. Seemed fairly safe for being on a main road and free parking all around during the winter months. The whole cafe was quite busy and most of the tables were taken, but I managed to snag one. I ordered a matcha latte and a poppy seed scone. Came out to about $12, so I thought that was pricy for what I got. Amazing baked goods and the scone was so buttery and delicious. Don't know if it's worth the price ($6). Coffee was decent. The matcha latte (for dine in) was served in a to go cup, but my friend who got a black coffee got it in a ceramic cup. The matcha latte ended up being more warm than hot. A very lovely place to have a meet up and if you needed to work on your laptop or phone. I think if I figured out how to park in the alley it'd be more worth it. A couple homeless entered the cafe and they walked around staring at our table a lot, but we felt pretty safe.

Yelp
Brew Culture Coffee knows how to brew a cup of joe! It has super cool vibes with kind baristas and open sitting for people who want to bring a laptop to work. I'll definitely be back for a work day, soon. Today, I had a basic drip. It was hot and everything I needed this am, however, they have a ton of more interesting options: special lattes, kombucha on draft, unique teas and even coffee drinks I've never heard of. I really wanted to try the One - on - One. I wish I could repeat what it is but I've forgotten it's exact set up. It sounded super fun and delicious, tho! Other things to note, they brew Sweet Bloom coffee and serve Rebel Bread pastries! Which, if you've never had a croissant by Rebel Bread, you are not living. They are remarkably buttery and flakey ~ such a TREAT with or without coffee! Overall, I'd go back to Brew Culture Coffee 100 times over. Great place!

Yelp
Wonderful place to work (ergonomics, wifi). Perfect for meeting friends (coffee, kombucha, italian sodas, sweet pastries, savory food -- something for everyone). Pros -Wonderful coffee (only tried espresso drinks). -Knowledgeable and friendly staff (I just learnt what is a 'wet-cortado'). -Surprisingly reasonable pricing. -Easy parking - dedicated lot + street parking. -Good capacity, various types of seating, and I have never not found seating (even when it is busy). -Love the layout (ample space between seats/seating groups, some communal seating, couches, tables for meetings, and other smaller tables for solo working, plenty of power outlets, wrap-around bar, and more. -Good feng-shui; supplemental to layout - nice big windows, high ceilings, gentle breeze from an 8 foot fan, outdoor seating option. Cons (these are totally understandable, and I do not expect Brew Culture to address, here more as a tip for those in same boat as me) -I came here primarily to work. Found the music loud on occasion. -Went outside to conduct zoom call, wifi was spotty

Yelp
I had friends in town so we rode our bikes over and chatted outside on the patio while sipping our coffee and kombucha. The service was wonderful and the outdoor seating ample with a nice pergola overhead. The kombucha was so very refreshing. I'm looking forward to coming here whenever I need a catchup spot in the neighborhood.

Yelp
We stopped by Brew Culture Coffee on a Sunday morning and found it relatively empty. The vibe was casual with minimal decor - almost an industrial look with the exposed pipes. I didn't see any specialty coffee drinks on the menu, so I ordered a Mocha Cold Brew, which was ready almost immediately. Unfortunately, I didn't love this - it tasted somewhat watered down. I also got some Banana Walnut Bread (Spruce Confections, not baked in store), which was very tasty. My friend and I took our drinks to the large (dog friendly) patio, which was pleasant, with large picnic tables in both the sun and shade. Overall, just ok!

Yelp
One of (if not my most) favorite spots to work from home in Denver. It's nice that they don't only serve coffee here. They also have kombucha on tap (a variety of tasty flavors). Lots of people gather here to work on their computers, and it's very quiet. They've got chill music on in the background, but at an acceptable volume. They also have a patio if you want to go outside. The space is open and airy with both bars and tables to sit at.

Cat G.

Yelp
Amazing place! Wonderful coffee and food! Açaí bowls are top notch. Customer service is always great. Definitely recommend.
google avatar

Sierra Q.

Yelp
This place has a nice feel and is quite roomy for a city coffee shop. I went there for coffee and to remote work for a few hours. The Wi-Fi worked well, there were 3-4 tables with access to an outlet, and the table was large enough for my laptop and a note pad. I got a iced vanilla latte and a chocolate muffin. The latte was very espresso forward with more of a vanilla finish which I found delicious. If you like more of a masked coffee taste, you should probably get a tea. The muffin was VERY chocolate-y and I loved the sea salt on top. Parking was easy and in a lot shared with the other stores in the same strip. I will definitely return to this coffee shop again!

Yelp
Coffee was good but overpriced. $4 for a regular drip cup of coffee seems a bit out of line. I am from Oregon though so my expectations are high when it comes to coffee. Service was ok. Parking wasn't so clear so we ended up parking in an alley. Signs would be great.

Rose R.

Yelp
Not for oat milk lovers! I've had both the matcha and lattes with oat milk, and they were so bad I didn't finish them. I think the oat milk is made in house, so it is very strong. Although, I've never had any other drinks from here so I can't say much about those!
google avatar

Jane R.

Yelp
Service- very kind and helpful with coffee choices and kombucha flavors. Samples sure help. Ambience- very cool vibe in a car repair shop. And, how cool that it is right beside a brewery. Coffee- Black coffee was on point and how delicious is a coffee draught of peanut butter chocolate. A must stop and take your coffee for a walk around beautiful Sloan Lake.
google avatar

Cat H.

Yelp
To start, the vibe of the shop is great! The baristas were super kind and helpful when I was trying to figure out what I wanted. I got a hot honey lavender latte and it had the cutest latte art. I am coming from out of town, and the hospital I received for great! I went on a very cold day as well, and the shop was super warm! I would recommend Brew Culture Coffee.
google avatar

Emily C.

Yelp
Such a neat, clean, and trendy spot for your daily cup of joe or occasional treat. I stopped by for a decaf black iced americano and was greeted by the friendliest line up of baristas. Brew Culture has a tasty selection of baked goods as well -- it took a lot of self control not to try one. I'll definitely be back and stick around longer to do some work inside or on the patio!
google avatar

Claire W.

Yelp
Absolutely loved Brew Culture! I came here with a friend and a book and we had a great time. The menu has a variety of coffees, kombucha, and pastries. They even had some premade breakfast burritos if you are needing more food. I ended up getting the OJ Sherbet Kombucha and it was delicious! We ended up sitting and reading on a couch inside and the ambience is relaxed and enjoyable. They had soft music playing and most other folks there were working on their laptops. I also loved that they had a free library section with lots of amazing books to choose from. They also had games you could play. I will definitely be coming back to work or read in the future!
google avatar

Patience P.

Yelp
Cute spot for coffee. They serve a one and one which you don't find often and I love. Their espresso is delicious. My partner had a breakfast burrito and he said it was great as well.

Julia S.

Yelp
Ordered a large vanilla latte and it was literally a glass of milk. I get that it's only 2 shots in this drink but it is utterly tasteless; no vanilla taste either . The shops cute and pastries looked great but 7.89 for a glass of milk is insane.
google avatar

Alixandra P.

Yelp
If it wasn't out of the sheer convenience of living down the street, I'd never come back here. Every time I come here the staff is incredibly rude and they act like you're creating the biggest inconvenience to them by ordering coffee. You say "hi" or "good morning" and they will flat out ignore you. You ask a question and they respond like you're the biggest moron on earth. Maybe the owner or supervisors don't treat them well, but the constant rudeness is so unnecessary. The coffee is okay, it gets the job done and tastes better than Starbucks. The lattes aren't great a bit too milky and lacking in espresso. There is a newer spot down the block from this place, go there instead.
google avatar

Jessica S.

Yelp
Perhaps one of the more agreeable coffee shops with the clean, modern look and multitude of seating options available. The shop appeared to be a gathering ground for close-knit friends and functioned as a working environment as well. If you fancy your espresso, drip, or specialty latte then this is your shop. Otherwise, a pour over menu was missing. I'm more grab-and-go with my coffee while travelling anyways, therefore I am always partial to the ever constant hot soy latte. Most shops have been dropping the unfairly shunned soy milk, but they do offer it here. The latte was at an acceptable temperature and creaminess with hints of full-bodied robustness. I took my little to-go cup, actually, and walked around the perimeter of Sloan Lake, which is nearby, like a basic beezy. I love brisk Colorado mornings with a cup of coffee in hand!

Yelp
Good, solid coffee with plenty of great espresso options and fantastic seating but sadly no pour overs. Order: Campfire Cappuccino, Cappuccino, Kombucha Flight About: $14 Review: The first of our many coffee stops in Denver, Brew Culture felt like a bit of a hidden gem. It's very hard to tell from the parking lot and almost impossible to tell from the street that there is a coffee shop in that location. But once you're inside they have a fantastic seating area with plenty of chairs, outlets to plug your computer into study and honestly just a great environment. We ended up ordering a Campfire Cappuccino, which was a seasonal whiskey-based cappuccino, their normal Cappuccino and a kombucha flight. It was all pretty good though I think the campfire Cappuccino was just a little bit underwhelming. I'm not entirely sure what I expected but it tasted a bit like what I a would imagine whisky and espresso mixed would be. I'm sure some people would love it but it wasn't really for me. Outside of that the espresso was really good, and we loved getting to try different kombucha without their flight. While I wish that they had options for pour overs I still think Brew Culture is an awesome cafe and a great place to work or hangout.
google avatar

Jessica J.

Yelp
Sweet little spot tucked away in the suburbs of Denver. Definitely gives the hangout and stay awhile vibes, which is just what we did. I was in town for the week and my co-worker suggested Brew Culture as a place to meet up and get some work done. I can see why he's keen on the place, it's cozy, offers plenty of coffee, teas, kombuchas, and more, plus they've got that needed unlimited wifi and plenty of seating. Oh yeah, and plenty of friendly faces and a staff that knows him by name. Love that. For a bite, I went with the delicious oatmeal that was on offer. It was certainly satiating. Later on I went for the turmeric latte, because... yum. Have nothing but great things to say about the service and goods I enjoyed. Now I'll just have to return next time in town for that kombucha on draft!

Yelp
Brew Culture has rapidly become my neighborhood coffee shop and I can't think of one reason not to stamp 5-stars on their page. Their implementation of Sweet Bloom Roasters is a win-win for the West Colfax/Sloan's Lake community. They can whip up cortados and cappuccinos to extremely tasty cold brew, all the way to a coffee mocktail called the Cold Fashioned (do it!) As a few others have mentioned in their reviews, the people behind the counter are very friendly. Sometimes the coffee industry gets a bad rap because customers feel like they're a nuisance to the barista. Not here. Smiles and up-beat conversations are pretty much a guarantee from the well-trained staff. However, my favorite aspect of the coffee shop is the overall layout. With somewhere around 45 seats, there's lots of room to catch up with an old friend or bunker down and work remotely. WiFi is free, and they happily give out their network and password. You'll also find grab and go items are available for purchase, and even a sizable Kombucha tap list. Thankful for Brew Culture's presence in my new neighborhood!

Yelp
Spent the afternoon getting some things done in this cute new spot: great addition to West Colfax! A great open space, plentiful menu of coffees/teas/kombuchas, snacks, friendly baristas - what's not to love?? I love that they have indoor and outdoor seating, the high ceilings, and the vast menu. You could literally stay here all day! Love coffee shops I can just hang out in... I'll be back, because it's close to home!
google avatar

Victor M.

Yelp
Came here after a bad snowstorm. Nice atmosphere. Has a Denver-warehouse-outdoor-cool culture feel. Kombucha and latte menus add to the vibe. Friendly staff. I particularly liked the fact that my cortado was served with a slightly sparkling water (like Badoit) on a board. Sorry for the picture I couldn't resist drinking my coffee.

Hunter E.

Yelp
Busy coffee shop near Sloan lake. Good vibes inside but not a great place to walk around. Croissant was good but half tasted like whatever pastry it was sitting next to. Solid lattes.

Haley P.

Yelp
Love some fresh kombucha!!! No notes on the coffee, but the kombucha was excellent. Great flavor options and a decent price for the area. Very quiet, cute space with most people working on laptops.

Chris J.

Yelp
Coffee is delicious! When I travel I always try to find coffee shops like this to go to. They had a great selection and let me try a specialty flavor he was experimenting with. Would highly recommend trying it out
google avatar

Sandy F.

Yelp
Really clean, chill, and excellent service. Everyone here has been so respectful and kind. Beverages are well made (tasty) and noise level is acceptable to focus and be productive. Lots of great natural light. Restroom was also very clean. Definitely coming back!
google avatar

Patricia G.

Yelp
This coffee shop is one of my favorites near my house. They have a great selection of kombucha flavors. The matcha and coffee is yummy and they provide alternative options for milk. The atmosphere is super cute and quiet, great for working or reading. Ive visited this place a couple of times and have tried a couple of their items including hot & iced coffee, matcha, booch, etc. Would definitely recommend :)
google avatar

Austin H.

Yelp
We were visiting in Denver and stayed nearby. I went here a handful of times while in town and was impressed each time i went. I could not get enough of their cold brew abd even brought some beans home with me. The baristas were very knowledgeable and provided great service.

Terri E.

Yelp
I don't go to coffee shops all that often but I really like this place and will go again. Service was very friendly. They have spicy Sanctuary chai--my absolute favorite chai. Presentation of the chai was nice (leaf design of some sort on top), hot, and deliciously spicy. They also headed up a pre-packaged burrito and served on stoneware with a knife and fork. Place was spacious and clean. Highly recommend. The one downside seems to be parking. Se la vie these days in the Denver area.
google avatar

Lauren B.

Yelp
Such a good spot for a meeting. Their lattes were delicious and we were able to easily get a table on a week day. Their tables are spaced well so with Covid you don't feel uncomfortable. Don't let it's colfax location scare you. It is a diamond in the rough. There's a parking lot as well as street parking and it was a great central location with great coffee. Highly recommended.
google avatar

Kim A.

Yelp
Hidden gem on west colfax. I always walk here if my mornings aren't to busy with work. It's a short walk from my place so it's a great way to explore the neighborhood. The coffee is really good and reasonably priced. The staff are always friendly when you walk in too. There's plenty of indoor & outdoor seating which is much appreciated if you want to get outside your house & work elsewhere for a few hours!
google avatar

Phillip T.

Yelp
Watered down coffee. Nice place but drinks are not good. Service was ok. Forgot drink
google avatar

Christa M.

Yelp
I've been here twice, both times for meetings. Parking is tricky but once you're inside, what a cute little place! The drinks are nice change from the traditional chain shops. My first time there I had a latte it was smooth, silky, and delicious. It was served me in a large bowl shaped cup with the beautiful latte design on top. During my second visit to this place, I had the turmeric latte. Also delicious, also served in a big bowl shaped cup. What a treat it was to be able to sit there, unhurried, discussing business, but yet enjoying these drinks. The atmosphere is spacious and bright, unlike most coffee houses. The bathrooms are clean. And the staff is super friendly. If you go here, you will definitely want to make the time to enjoy the atmosphere.
google avatar

Allison S.

Yelp
Turmeric latte dirty is a great way to start the day! Second time in matcha latte dirty even better start. Very modern coffee shop with good space and a sleek feel. Pricey but worth it for the quality and great customer service. Good spot to to work or hang out for a bit until the brewery next door opens!
google avatar

Emily M.

Yelp
What a cute spot! Bright and airy with a lot of options. I got a cold brew, and it was so smooth! I like that they have fresh pastries and burritos too (breakfast burritos they'll heat up on a panini press). Yum!
google avatar

Ellen L.

Yelp
Support this local, inviting coffee spot! I'm always greeted by friendly staff and enjoy their coffee options. Their drip coffee is just as good as their blends and Americano. They also have breakfast burritos and a variety of baked goods that pair very well with their drinks. There's plenty of space so I feel safe dining in. The decor is memorable and carefully curated from the artwork on the walls to the lights, dried flowers on the table, and menu. I love the personal touch to this shop.
google avatar

Peace Y.

Yelp
Tidy and interesting (so neat, in two meanings) coffee spot. I'm a tea and kombucha gal, and the Strawberry kombucha was dazzlingly tasty. I saw a growler on a bar, so I plan on stopping back by and getting a supply for the house.
google avatar

Eliana C.

Yelp
Great pour over, friendly service and plenty of room to sit down!
google avatar

Aaron D.

Yelp
This coffee is amazing! I got an Americano Decaf and it has to be the best coffee I have ever had! I also give them 5 stars because the vibe is cool and the barista is not condescending. They were cool but gave great customer service. Many coffee places get this so wrong as they act like you are bothering them when you order your coffee. Not this place! A mic frequent for people living in the Denver area.
google avatar

Gwen P.

Yelp
I live right across the street from this place and am glad to welcome them to the neighborhood! I spent a couple hours Sunday morning here this weekend, getting some work done and enjoying an Americano. The space is beautiful and the employees friendly. That said, it's unlikely that I'll become a regular here because it's Just. So. Expensive. Over $3 for a cup of drip coffee. Sure, they serve Sweet Bloom coffee, which I've been told is exceptional, but that's a price I can't justify regularly. Hopefully my wealthier neighbors will frequent this joint! UPDATE: The coffee is delicious so I've been coming here more frequently than I initially thought. Also, you get $.25 off if you bring your own mug. Somehow, $2.75 seems *much* more reasonable to me ;) Overall, it's a great place to get work done.
google avatar

Deya Z.

Yelp
Welcome to (a slowly gentrifying) West Colfax! Do not get it twisted, I love local coffee shops and this one is great, but the prices are so high for the neighborhood. I stopped by before heading to a meeting down the road & needed somewhere close by. Rather than trekking to Starbucks I stopped by here. The coffee is a bit pricey, as was the kombucha at $4-$6 depending on size. It's a nice little shop that I'm sure will thrive and begin cater to new folks moving in.

Jennifer C.

Yelp
Baristas were super friendly and I really enjoyed my latte. I walked from Sloans Lake because my neighborhood shop was closed and wasn't disappointed. I'll be back.
