We were recommended this place by the visitor center, which is funny because it is literally across the street. The beer and mead is exceptional and the food was just as good. My wife and I tried a new restaurant each meal and this place was both our favorite meal. I highly recommend giving them a shot!

Great selection of brews, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful service. They were setting up the small stage in the back room when we were there but we left before we could enjoy the live music. Maybe next time.

Go for the beer, NOT the food!! Great tap selection with a point-earning brew club. Nice staff. Cool ambiance. Terrible food. My nacho were of the lowest possible quality with floury “cheese sauce,” ridiculously salty chips, canned toppings of little flavor, and the driest chicken chunks I can recall. I’m not a mean reviewer and usually am vague about the bad stuff, but this has not left my mind.

Update: these things have occurred here MK consistently. Maybe confront your staff about my “ opinion” or check your cameras. These are consistent issues you should take up with your staff not me! Great management I used to love this place but the service has gone down hill. The same beertender always has her partner here flirting ignoring the rest of the bar/ ruining the experience, they serve in plastic cups even if you are staying inside and the food comes out way later than when you ordered and usually cold. Not a pleasant past few experiences.

My wife and love going there either before or after a concert at Granbury Live. Having a few drinks and sometimes pizza or other things. Nice staff and the owner hangs around quite often and talks with folks. Great time hope to see you there ! RF

Stood in line and were kinda ignored. We finally got the attention on the guy closest to the register. The appetizers were pretty bad. To be fair, we originally went for a drink. Not bad , but as expected, pricy. Probably won’t come again.

Coolest vibe in town that is NOT a winery... Great beer selection, updated frequently. Good music, too. You should go..

We walked in at 5:27pm with a child and a baby. Ordered two beers and sliders for the child. Over 40 minutes later, at 6:08, after literally everyone else in the entire establishment received their food, including the people who arrived and ordered after us, I complained when the sliders finally came out. The dude with his hair half up said, “Oh sorry, didn’t see you there,” after I sent my husband to the car with the baby because he couldn’t sit any longer. No remorse. We came because of the positive posts on Instagram, and I will be making sure others do not fall for the same trap.

Came here today with a group of friends. First off their website and the yelp photos were very misleading. Apparently their website is not up to date and was hacked so they can't update the website. The menu is very limited, but still has decent options. They mainly have pizza but when I searched online it said they had all these different kind of bowls (Greek chicken bowl, Cuban bowl, etc.) Well they only have one on the menu. And the rest is pub bar food. Also it was advertised it was a bar and restaurant, not a bar that happens to serve food. Our experience wasn't terrible, the staff was very nice, we were just expecting more of a restaurant experience, vs ordering at the bar and waiting for food. Overall the food was decent. Just came out kinda slow and out of order. Probably won't be back here in the near future with kids, but if you're looking for a bar with friendly staff, this is that. The bathrooms are really clean too, so that's a plus.

Great place to get beer ! Service was a 10 ambiance was a 7 food 0 sorry just don't do it. But I would definitely come back for the drinks, service and friendly people.

Awesome local spot. Was here for the night for work and stopped by this gem. The owner was here and was telling me all about the place. Woman working the bar was kind and knew all the beers. Stop here!!! Awesome spot worth your time.

If you have not been here, you are missing out!! This was our first time- great outdoor patio area right off square for people watching. Inside has an entertainment room for bands. We were lucky to go on a night of acoustic and EJ was amazing!!! Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They have wide variety of beers on tap and several wines- let you taste to choose. If you are a liquor drinker- they do not have bar. The lemonade cider and choices of wine worked for me. We had the pretzel bites and cauliflower crust pepperoni pizza and they were amazing!! Entire experience was great! Will definitely be good back and recommend you all do the same!

I was here a while ago. It was a cold day, but I still felt like sitting outside. Drinking a beer and watching the traffic on E. Pearl Street go by. Lots of good quaffable options. Info on the adult beverage screens is clear enough... I always look for a good APD (ABV Per Dollar) ratio. There are food options too, but have not tried any, yet. There is an app, that you can get updates, and I think earn rewards, with. It's called "Untappd" ( https://untappd.com/ ) : Untappd is a geosocial networking service and mobile phone application founded by Greg Avola and Tim Mather that allows its users to check in as they drink beers, and share these check-ins and their locations with their friends. Wikipedia Bottom Line: Only thing left do do is find out if they have a happy hour.

Stopped in here while exploring this adorable city. Heard they had over 20 different types of beers. They had a great selection so we did a f light with some sours and ales. Ordered a pulled pork bowl and pretzel bites. They were delicious and the bowl was big enough to split for two Great customer service, friendly and sure made us feel like a local , not a tourist.

Brew Drinkery & Bistro is a great little place in the heart of Granbury. They have an amazing selection of beers to choose from. Their food is delicious! They have a large dog-friendly patio that had a fun polka band playing when we were there on a Sunday afternoon. The only downside is they were very understaffed when we were there. I believe it may have only been two workers as the lady taking the orders mentioned to another patron that there was only one kitchen guy there that day. Food took a little longer as a result, and the outdoor tables were not able to be cleared as folks were leaving. Perhaps they were unexpectedly busy when we were there? We still enjoyed our food and drinks, but one could easily see that they needed more hands on deck.

Bartender didn't greet, care or give a s&&t unfriendly service. Check out was ridiculous. No thank you or have a great day. She needs a class in hospitality.

Brew is a great place to hang out with your friends, enjoy some drinks, and not feel pressured. My group meets up here often and we have kindly been obliged with changing what is on the big tv wall to suit our preference. Dogs are allowed as well. Nice patio out front but can be noisy with the street traffic. The food is good but nothing heavy. Small pizzas, and salads are most popular. The staff is great and I have no complaints.

Very nice selection of beer and I'd also noticed they had quite a few wines to pick from. I had the meatball sandwich and it was good. I really enjoy the outdoor seating area.

Food is great especially their pizzas. Service is the best. Very friendly and attentive. They always make you feel welcome and greet you when you walk in.

We love the beer selection. It's really the only place in Granbury to find a great selection of beers. The Brew house beers stand up pretty well to the other local brews as well. The food is good. Not great. But we like the pretzel bites and the paninis. Patio is always fun and you get to watch the crowds of Granbury walk by. It's a routine stop for us on our ventures.

As a professional restaurant and hotel reviewer, I must highlight this review is based on 3 collective experiences over the course of a year. It is also based upon my own personal discussions with local folks who have visited The Brew Drinkery in Granbury TX. This place is definitely in a class of it's own and is located just a stone's throw from the famous downtown Granbury Square. You cannot compare it to anything else in the area!!! It has an eclectic vibe, with newly painted bright colors, fun decor and even a front yard patio complete with covered picnic tables where you can share a fresh baked pizza and a pint of your favorite craft beer with friends. This is not a restaurant where you are seated and served, but rather an authentic and fun drinkery where you can meander outside, sit at the bar and watch the game or simply hang out in a cozy place and sip on your favorite coffee drink. They have a succinct menu that pairs well will their craft beers as well as their non-alcoholic root beer (my favorite). The food was excellent all 3 times. I've had their cauliflower crust pizza as well as their hand tossed pizza, elotes and southwestern style bowl. I've had no complaints. The only potential issue I've experienced was food availability during an unexpected crowd one evening. I cannot fault the venue for having an unexpected crowd. That was on one of the 3 visits. We hosted a birthday party here 6 months ago and the owners and staff were super attentive to our needs, requests and any potential issues we ran into. In light of staff issues, everyone we have encountered has been kind, helpful and professional. In over a decade of reviewing, I have to say ALL businesses have a lapse on occasion but we have yet to experience anything but quality customer service during our visits. This is neither a 5-star bougie dining establishment nor is it a 'bar' environment. It has a craft brewhouse feel with a comfy pub community and outdoor beer garden area to boot. They offer live music indoors, fun events and specials on food and drink, so check their social media page for upcoming events. If good friends gathering to connect and sample some incredible craft beers and share a pizza (or not!) is your thing, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Brew Drinkery. Also...come see the changes they have made and say hello to Ginger! I recommend the St Arnold's Rootbeer and the Prosciutto/Arugula pizza on cauliflower crust! Then again, I'm always looking for the extra thing. They did not disappoint! Simple. Succinct. Eclectic.

Revision: We came back and brought our group of 4. Two of us ordered glasses of beers and 2 of us ordered flights. Oh my gosh. So good and so much fun. Insane a meatball pizza come out of the oven - it looked amazing. Next time we're in town and have more time, we're stopping for pizza and beer.

Good option with live music in Granbury. We enjoyed seating outside and listening to the Jazz band. Creative decor and menu. I end up always ordering the Django Reinhardt pizza with Brie cheese, arugula and grapes. It's delicious. They have a variety of tea and coffee also. The jasmine tea is very flavorful. Right by the square.

Go as often as you can the food is delicious service is normal for a small Town young people not sure how to wait on people besides that yummy food and nice beer selection.

Visited this place a couple times while I was out in Granbury to work the Tough Mudder event earlier in the month. Super thankful for Untappd and Brew Drinkery utilizing that profile. With that being said, they have a great rotating tap list and I was beyond happy to see how they had a plethora of stouts to choose from. One of my biggest pet peeves is when beer bars have little to no stouts. They have some pretty great drink specials throughout the week too so make sure to check up on those! The food is great too! The first time I had their pizza and the second time I had one of their bowls. Both were filling and yummy! If I'm ever back in Granbury then I will definitely be visiting this place again.

Dropped in for a quick beer. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Loved that they were going above and beyond to make sure patrons were wearing masks and following protocol. Great beer selection - I think they said 45ish beers on tap. Will definitely be back on our next visit to Granbury.

Food was actually very good but the wait for it was not acceptable. We waited an hour and a half for our food. This was at 1 pm so not even a prime time.

The food and atmosphere was great!! They gave me a discount on my beer because the keg wasn't cold (just cool) but that didn't bother me and would have still paid regular price. Will definitely go back when we're in Granbury again!

A great spot to visit for good, craft beer! They have an excellent selection with great descriptions on their overhead TV's. We ordered a couple of flights and a few beers too. (The flight is 4 beers of your choice.) Would visit again if we were local. Thanks Chris!

Such a great addition to downtown! It's literally steps from the main square streets and tucked in a small side building. Owners say a patio is coming soon and that will really solidify this as a downtown must go. They are neighbors with the Fusion table so in addition to coffee and a massive variety of beers on tap, they will have some of the best food in town.

This place was super fun, cozy, with great pokey nachos! Stopped in for one night during a high school robotics competition. They had live jazz playing which was a special treat. :-) would highly recommend if ever in Granbury.

Finally a good sports bar tap room in Granbury! The burgers and fries are top notch. Great spot to hangout with family and friends. It is a lively atmosphere with so much potential.

So glad we went inside. Super hardworking and friendly staff. They were super busy running around and juggling so many orders all at the same time. Great beer selections and their Coffee bar is awesome too. Hope to get something to eat next time we stop by.

Found this place when we first moved to Texas. So glad that we did as it is now a go-to spot when we are in town. We love the variety of beers on tap and the friendly staff. As many times as we have been there, just recently we enjoyed some food and weren't disappointed. If you need a cold one and like variety, this is the place for you!

Great beer list, good food and super cool staff. Both the Louie and Duke were so good! Definitely a spot to check out! The live Jazz was icing on the cake.

We were there to listen some music students from Tarleton. We ordered a selection of pizzas, chips and dips, and the pretzel bites for the band. All were a big hit. However, starving and broke college kids will eat anything. I did try a little of everything and I especially enjoyed the pretzel bites. The beer selection is phenomenal. The staff was courteous, professional and very supportive of our kids.

Were treated horrible. Only ones in there but yet chose to be horribly rude. I understand all this covid but we had been on square all day without any problems. Tried to pay and leave and they told my husband literally to get out. So we did . I mean we were really the only ones in the whole place

Made a late night stop to have a drink and listen to a local band. The kitchen was closed and it wasn't too busy. A good selection of beer. A little disappointed that another table took away from the ambiance. They were louder than the band.

Whether you like jazz, beer or coffee this little gem in Granbury has you covered by a Maria's of choices. My first reaction was that this drinkers should be in a larger city and not little ok' Granbury, however the patrons seem to disagree as they were having a fantastic time! Hang out and grab a drink while listening to some live music for some well deserved R&R.

I'm so glad this bar is still able to operate even with COVID. Getting my favorite beers and cocktails delivered is a treat, and the live jazz music on the patio is amazing!

What a fun Friday Date Night!! As "locals", we hadn't tried the brewery but were so very surprised at the lovely welcome we received! Nummy spring rolls on the patio lead into to music by a great trio! A fabulous offering of local beers as well as a delicious Sangria slid us into an amazing panini!!! We'll definitely be back!!

As a frequent visitor of this place, I feel compelled to tell others just how fun it is! I really enjoy the live music every weekend and my friends love it too (we're all in high school). As a jazz enthusiast this place puts off a certain vibe that I can really get used to and the staff are always happy to help and are super friendly. I've had no problems with food and it all tastes great. I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting to sip a cold beer and relax with friends.

This place is a no go. Slow service and they really are more concerned about if you're wearing a mask than serving you efficiently. I do not recommend at all. I understand being cautious about covid and health, but they aren't going to survive if they don't try to take care of the customers in an efficient manner.

Trivia night is FUN! Cubano bowl is Great! Beer is Refreshing! Music is Cool! FUN- GREAT-REFRESHING-COOL. Need I say more? Go try it out. Pet friendly patio is a bonus.
