BrewLab is such a great place and we're lucky to have it in downtown OP. Their beer never disappoints and the food is fantastic. The food menu is huge so there are plenty of selections. Everything we ordered was great but I was especially impressed with the jalapeno cole slaw! When we arrived, they had a large crowd with most of the tables taken. We were a little worried about how long it would take to get drinks. However the staff was excellent and working hard. We didn't wait long at all for them to take our order and bring our drinks. The food came out quickly as well. They also had a Trivia/Bingo game going on which was fun. We'll definitely be back soon!

I feel so fortunate that we selected the Brew Lab for our son’s rehearsal dinner. It was a pleasure doing the planning with Melissa. She made it easy. They have a charming private space which was perfect for our group of 28. We had our own server, Hannah, who took very good care of us. The food was a fun nacho and taco bar. The guests all seemed to enjoy themselves!

Google
Quite little pub, came for restaurant week! Was great, portions were plenty for both of us to share with each other! Truffle parm fries are great so are the garlic cheese curds. Hubs got the Rueben and onion rings, I got the cheesesteak with fries, also got the bang bang shrimp- all was good. If we’re back up this way would definitely come in and try something new.

Google
More like boo lab! There was nothing redeeming about this place. Table service at a bar? Half the fun is going up to explore the taps. It took half an hour for our two beers to actually arrive, both of which were just awful. One of them was warm and flat. I took two sips and left it. We were also promised water twice which never came. Such a waste of money and time. Very disappointed!

Came here for a beer before dinner. Service was phenomenal, bartender let me try a couple beers before deciding what I wanted to pay for. Will definitely be returning!

Google
Really enjoyed it! I visited on a Thursday and they had a good crowd for bingo and the bar staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice beer selection that has several high in ABV and some sours/goses as well. I particularly enjoyed the Science 101 cream ale and the Thirst Trap saison was good as well. Great location and a fun atmosphere. I have a feeling I’ll be back!

I came in today with a couple coworkers. The main guy working was great. I didn’t catch his name, but I think he mentioned. He was born in 1996😀He was attentive, gave us refills and our food came out cold and even took it back To hopefully warm up. My fries were even colder upon the return that my fish from fish and chips was hot and tasty! Same with my two coworkers half cold half hot. A gal working with a hot pink short sleeve top on with tattoos down one arm came over with two to go containers for us, which was nice of her to bring, but she just tossed them on the table no smile, saying nothing no thank you no nothing. Then I watched her delivering beers to other tables with a frown those those people shaking their heads at one table by us, I could hear the other people next to us talking about her service. My suggestion would be more training with the food. It can’t be that difficult. The food is simple and comes frozen I am guessing, maybe fake a smile and put on a grin, my father died recently, and I faked a smile it can be done easily😅

Google
We came in on a Saturday around 3:30 - there two other tables being served. We sat ourselves and waited 15 minutes with no acknowledgement from the bar or the server who walked by our table 4 times and ignored us when we waved and tried to get his attention. We left and went down the street to Burg & Barrel where we were greeted, sat and served immediately. Much better option and only a block away.

Yelp
On Fridays, I try to get Fish as much as possible, even though I'm not really a religious person. I love fried fish, as a Canadian colony diehard. While they had Fish 'N Chips on the menu, this was a misnomer, they should have called it Fried fish nuggets and fries. With a beer, tax and tip, my meal came out to $29. The food was not good, and it looked nothing like English or Scottish style fish and chips. A good fish is a large fillet of cod, haddock or halibut. I can also take in Salmon....but these were little nuggets and they were soggy, not crisp. To make it even worse, they had not been de-boned properly, a no-no. Two of them had bones in them that needed to be picked out. Secondly, the chips aren't chips, they're seasoned shoestring type fries, similar to those you get from Ore-Ida. I don't mind seasoned fries, but anyone who orders FnC knows that chips needs to be hand cut, thick and unseasoned (that why you give us salt and malt vinegar!) so they can be soft, mash potato-like on the inside. And the beer, it was good but at $7, I expected a pint. I swore, this was more like a half pint or less (can't confirm). The only reason why I gave it a second star was because it was a nice warm day and they put me close to the patio so I got to get some late afternoon sun.

Yelp
This was our first time here and we were very pleased! The vibe was very laid back, perfect for a brewery. We also came in during happy hour on a Friday night, so right before dinner rush. We started with in house brews and both of us thoroughly enjoyed our drinks! Zuzu's Petals is such a treat, definitely on the sour end of ciders but so delicious! Tinta Davila was a mouthful of Christmas and didn't have that bitter bite of a lot of stouts (which I personally don't enjoy) have, both were excellent! We started our meal with pretzel bites and they came out fast, piping hot and holy cow was it a MASSIVE serving! What is pictured is probably half of what we received but we were very hungry! You can tell they cook the pieces individually, so it's hot and slightly oily but in a good way, kind of like a funnel cake, without the sweetness. These were a home run. I got the fish and chips which were good but definitely not the best I've had in town. The fries were crispy and top tier but the fish had an almost frozen vibe...what did pull them back though was the beer flavor. It was good, just not enough to write home about. My hubs got the Philly Steak Pita with jalepeno slaw/ he enjoyed the wrap...the slaw, not so much. He is a slaw lover and said this one didn't really have any flavor other than jalepeno. But, that's why you try new stuff on your first visit! Not everything is always a banger! Overall, even with the partial misses, they get a solid 4 from us! We'll definitely be back! Our server was also great, he was attentive but didn't hover...just the way we like it!

Yelp
Hidden gem in KC. We visited Brew Lab during KC Restaurant week and will be adding this restaurant to our list for date nights. We fell in love with their pretzel bites and queso! We had a flight of their house beer and if you like cider, I recommend Zuzu's Petals!

Yelp
We drove over 30 minutes out the way to go to a brewery in Kansas. Times online stated they were open on Mondays at 11am. We arrived early and waited till 11:05 to enter, only to find they were not open. I don't understand why breweries cannot update their times! Very upsetting.

Yelp
Happy to be so close to this awesome hangout!! It is the perfect place to go for a late afternoon patio beer, a tasty pick-me-up snack, or to catch a game. They have some pretty interesting beers on tap - we tried one with gin and a bunch of strange botanicals and while we probably wouldn't order it again we do appreciate the artistry and intrigue of something we've never conceived of tasting before! They truly do live up to their experimental Lab name! The sweet and salty pretzel bites were outta this world! Crisp and hot but soft and fluffy on the inside, I'd crush a plate of these again in a second. The fries were also tasty - overall a great spot to wind down from a farmer's market run!

Yelp
Wonderful place! We had so much fun creating our own flights of beer and trying all of them out. Our server was wonderful and the place has an amazing vibe! Definitely go!!

Yelp
Went there two days in a row! Fun waitress, good food, good beer! Highly recommend! Shout out to Melissa our waitress!

Yelp
Love the trivia on Tuesday nights. Atmosphere is good, great for groups. Beer is interesting, not my favorite. The wait staff is always great! Food can be hit or miss, though the pretzels are delicious!

Yelp
Hiding on Brew Lab's menu you'll find an awesome vegan-modifiable option: Tofrito Street Tacos {corn torilla, pico de gallo, lettuce, lime salsa verde, tofrito, queso fresco*, avocado crema*}.  Be sure to remove the queso fresco and the avocado crema if you're avoiding dairy.  The tacos are excellent and also reasonable at 3 for $9.  The tacos are not tiny, so the 3 tacos alongside some chips and salsa is a good portion for me.  The tacos might fall apart so go ahead and ask for some silverware.  To drink, if you're not there for beer, I'd recommend skipping the Paloma and getting the Spicy Greatness instead.

Yelp
Food - pretty good for bar food Service - good Ambiance - pure bar vibes Had the fish and chips with a side order of Mac and Cheese Fish - light breading good flavor, in house made tartar sauce is tasty. Fries - nice and crispy on the outside, good flavor and a plentiful portion. Mac and cheese - average needs seasoning IMHO or real cheesse, I added pepper and Sriracha ... made it better. Place has a nice selection of beer, they make their own Non Alcoholic in house and have Kombucha on tap as well. Here you can also take MYOB (make your own beer) classes if that's your current or future thing.

Yelp
Local brewery on the north side of Overland Park. I'm not a beer guy but my friend is. He chose a 6 sample flight from the 19 varieties available and was impressed with all 6 (a rarity for him). Even the one advertised as eating a churro was good (he says it tastes like a churro dipped in coffee). The beers are flavorful and creative. I chose from the other liquor options behind the bar. We also ate dinner there. I had the street tacos which were ok. The service was good with the bar maid /waitress hustling to get drinks and orders to us. The facility consists of high tables and stools. Televisions are scattered to watch sports. Plenty of parking available. Highly recommended for their beer selection.

Yelp
Walked in for brunch and the first bad sign was that not one customer was there. The whole place just stank like dirty bar. Then my table was sticky so that was my last draw and left after being inside two minutes total.

Yelp
I am not always the biggest beer fan, but I came here on a Friday night with some friends and had a great time. They had a woman playing an acoustic set of covers and she was awesome. They also had the doors open, letting in the perfect breeze. Our server was also so nice and had some great recommendations. We tried some of the food and it was pretty good bar food. I also really loved the decorations and how cute the bathroom was!

Yelp
Brew Lab started off as a fun brewery concept where you could take beer brewing classes, but it has grown into so much more. It is now a great space that has incredible food. I have been there numerous times, tried a big chunk of the menu (best pretzels in town!) and have yet to be disappointed. Great food, good beer and an altogether fantastic experience!

Yelp
Great beer selections, awesome food, and good service make for a fun time at Blew Lab! I especially like the plentiful menu options for vegetarians. In particular, the wrap with tofu is a WIN. Recently, we have been going to Brew Lab on Tuesday nights for trivia and it's really fun! My best advice for trivia is to arrive early. If you are looking for a large table you should arrive by 5:40...yes really. Tables for 4 are easier to get closer to game time but if you want an 8-top you need to arrive about an hour and a half early.

Yelp
I tried out this local brew pub the other day and might have had the best beer shot combination I've ever had! We came in during their ALL DAY happy hour Sunday and I think I might have found my new favorite spot. Our waiter suggested I add a shot of Jameson to my MEADOWLARK-- PEACH PIE HARD CIDER and dang it did not disappoint! I highly recommend going and checking out brew labs seasonal beers and ciders before they are gone. Brew lab has happy hour weekdays 2-6 and all day Sunday. They offer not only discounts on their house brews but also $6 apps! The pretzel bites are my absolute favorite and they have a few different sauces you can have them bring you ranging from sweet to spicy.

Yelp
We happened to be out in Overland Park and wanted to find a Boulevard type place to grab beers and appetizers. Google and yelp helped us find Brew Lab! I had a flight and all of the beers were very good. Their food was good too. Very chill atmosphere and it seemed like a place you could bring your young child to hang too.

Yelp
"This is the best food I've had in a really long time" -my dad, who is very picky. I wasn't sure what to expect, since I hadn't really heard much about Brew Lab and it was a random selection by my mom from the KCRW list. We had 4 people in our party which was we the perfect amount to try each appetizer (minus the edamame), each main course, and each dessert. There was not a single thing we did not absolutely rave over!! Each item was cooked to perfection and so, so flavorful. The food I HAVE to point out as being absolutely TO DIE FOR!!! is the pretzel bites. I'm still drooling over them days later. They are SO crispy on the outside (not the dry, overcooked, chewy outside like some pretzel bites have) and SOFT on the inside. Each one was like a tiny bite of heaven. Not only do they have them as an appetizer with cheese dip but they also have them as a sweet and salty dessert. GENIUS!! Both were delicious in their own way and I just know I will be thinking about them forever, probably. Our waiter was nice and patient and helped with picking the beer flights. He was attentive and made sure we were always satisfied with our food and drinks. It was slightly loud in there but it was fitting for a brewery/restaurant and it didn't interrupt our conversations at all. It was neat having the brewery equipment next to our table to help connect us to the brewing process as we were tasting our delicious beer. I'm not much of a beer drinker but my favorites of the beer options were the chocolate cake beer the raspberry cider. Everyone else in my group had no complaints about the beer they sampled as well, and they made sure to try pretty much the entire beer menu. Overall an excellent experience, I will be back asap!!

Yelp
Great spot in downtown OP to relax and grab a bite to eat along with a refreshing pint. Went down here for happy hour with some co-workers and after all was said and done I was extremely pleased. They have a great selection of beers to choose from along with a good amount of cocktails. Personally I would stick with the beers, but there's something for all tastes. On the food side we only ordered appetizers. If I were to call two out on the must have side it would be the pretzel bites and the cheese curds. The cheese curds had a nice garlic to them and the pretzel bites were perfectly crisped. Definitely a great spot to meet with others and enjoy your evening.

Yelp
I've been here a few times to have apps and a couple of beers. But I was happy to see this place ended up on restaurant week. I didn't realize they had such a good menu and they offer lunch specials during the week. The BLT comes like a grilled cheese and it's delicious. The Baja chicken wrap has quite the kick to to it but it's worth it. However the best part are the pretzel bites and the cheese curds. Get an order of pretzel bites and a festbier and sit back and enjoy a game on one of the many TVs.

Yelp
The food and service is consistently good but the beer choices are outstanding- unique for sure. And the outdoor patio is really nice too

Yelp
Brew lab is one of my favorite spots for good food + brews. I typically frequent Brew Lab on Fridays for live music or Sunday for all day happy hour. The build your own sampler and lab nachos are my go-tos. Highly recommend the pretzel bites and mini corn dogs! Brew Lab is a cool space with fun names for each of their beers. The beer list is constantly rotated so there's always something new to try. I haven't been a fan of every beer I've tried, but that is more so personal preference than a knock on the beer. There are plenty of options to cater to everyone's tastes. My only small complaint is the service can be hit or miss sometimes. I think that may have been due to being understaffed a bit. However, I have seen some new faces in recently and service was solid my last couple visits. Definitely recommend giving Brew Lab a try next time you're in downtown OP!

Yelp
We try a different restaurant every week, and this week, we chose the Brew Lab. I really loved this place. The service was great. They had a great selection of beer, and we really enjoyed the food we ordered. So much so that i want to go back so I can try more things on the menu. I got the philly cheese steak and loved it. Now i want to try one of their big burgers. I was surprised how big the space was since it didn't look that big from the outside. We went pretty early and glad we did because the place was pretty full by the time we left. We will be going back soon and plan to make it a regular thing.

Yelp
Service is slow but the food is SO good! The truffle fries are to die for and my boyfriend absolutely loved the shrimp street tacos. We came back two days in a row when we're only in town for 3 days lol the place is also cute and has a nice little patio!
google avatar

Cindy C.

Yelp
Pretzel bites are toasty. Queso is good. Stout mustard is really good. Portion was way too big for one person! Only two workers in front of house so I being one person, wasn't a high priority. Basically, they poured my beer, I decided to set on patio for warmth but ordered pretzel bites before I went out. They kept going to the table next to me with 4 adults and 3 children but never bothered to check on me. I went ahead and walked to kitchen window where I helped myself to some napkins. They have even checked on table inside door. Me still nothing. lol! Must be me! The male server just redeemed himself by checking on me after 30 minutes of silence. He is a Radiohead fan, so all is forgiven. To be honest he is the personality here today! Bartender to serious for my liking!
google avatar

Hannah G.

Yelp
We came here with friends on Friday for the first time and I am shocked we have never been sooner. We were always getting coupons in the mail during the pandemic and just never went. They brew their beer in house and have some guest taps. Their food is delicious. They also have live music on Friday nights and that was super fun. The place was packed so definitely get there early! We will be back.
google avatar

Yelp
I had been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally made it! We went recently for a birthday party celebration. The private room where we had our get-together was a nice touch, allowing us to have some separation from the main area. I tried the flight of six beers, and I must say, I enjoyed all of them. They also have happy hour specials, including all day Sunday, which is great. I shared the build-your-own appetizer sampler with one other person. We tried the Southwest egg rolls, cheese curds, and pretzel bites. The food was delicious and had a decent range of flavors. I am eager to try more of their menu items in the future. Everything my friends ordered looked just as good too! I was also impressed that they serve standard beer like Coors Light, not just their own brews. Overall, my visit to Brewlab was a positive experience. However, I did notice that it can get pricey, but I understand that's typical of any place that serves alcohol. While some of my party had minor complaints about the service, we had one server taking care of a rather large group, so I understand the challenge of providing excellent service in such situations. In summary, Brewlab is a cool spot, especially if you're a beer lover. The private room, happy hour specials, and diverse menu make it an excellent option for groups or individuals. I would recommend giving it a try if you're in the area.

Olivia S.

Yelp
The food was very good, but the waitress was not great. She barely talked to us, we had to track her down to order drinks & food. It was 4pm on a Friday & she wasn't even busy.
google avatar

Dev T.

Yelp
I still like Brew Lab and would still recommend it, but it can take a while to order. Our last visit we sat for over 20 minutes without a server before I asked to order at the bar. Staff rectified this quickly but you may need to be ready to speak up for yourself.
google avatar

David L.

Yelp
Food is always good here. Probably my favorite food here are the pretzel bites!! There is a wide variety of beers that they make here. You should be able to find a beer you will like no matter what your tastes in beer.
google avatar

Bailey K.

Yelp
We came for trivia night and had a blast. Tuesday's at 7 is trivia. $2 street tacos which were pretty good! We also got the southwest egg rolls which were very good (and warning very hot when they came out). Wait staff were very nice and attentive. I got the seltzer and it was decent. Tbh not really a beer person but my husband loved his!
google avatar

Carson B.

Yelp
Good spot for some friends and I to get some beers at different times of the week. Wish you got more cheese for the pretzel bites. Also would love a more fully stocked main bar, know you guys do mainly beer but it's such a nice venue that I'd love to eventually move from beer to liquor when I get tired of whatever I'm drinking at that point. I start my night here but with some better late night grub and more bar options I could see myself ending a Friday night if drinks here with friends

Maria G.

Yelp
Went with some friends and loved the wholesome environment, delicious food, and fun atmosphere! I plan on going back!
google avatar

Kelly D.

Yelp
Brew Lab is a great place for a Friday night beer and burger. Everything on their menu is delicious and their rotating beers are always fun to try with a flight!
google avatar

Cindy F.

Yelp
Came here for lunch, sat at the bar. Tried some samples of beers, settled on a glass for each of us we liked. Berry bomb gose for me, oatmeal stout for the hubby. Started with killer chips and queso. Chips were perfectly cooked, clearly made in house, seasoned well, and I love a good white queso. I had the 3 street tacos: fish, pork and tofrito. All were good, especially the pork. Hubby had the loaded cowboy burger with onion rings. Onion rings were cooked perfectly, not too greasy. Food came out quickly. Crystal took good care of us, all her recommendations were spot on. Laid back vibe. Will definitely be back.
google avatar

Michelle L.

Yelp
We stopped in here one night on the way home from a long day in rescue outreach. The staff was friendly, beer was tasty/cold, and the food was great! Brew Lab quickly became one of our favorites due to all of the above. They struggled for a while with staffing which made for a few hit or miss experiences but this issue seems to have been corrected and it's still one of our favorite spots!
google avatar

John T.

Yelp
I've been here twice now and have really enjoyed both experiences. To start, the servers on both occasions were excellent....friendly and attentive. I had the Baja Burger on my first trip and the fish and chips on the second one. The Burger was cooked perfectly (medium) and tasted wonderful. It was SPICY, but i guess I should expect that from the description. The parmesan fries were wonderful as well. The fish and chips were fried perfectly and not over done. I wish they would have had Malt Vinegar, but they had a tartar sauce that was sufficient. There was live music on our second visit and it was pleasant to have that going on in the background. I definitely will go back and try some of the other items that looked so good on the menu. ......oh and I am not a beer drinker, but if you are, it looks like they have a wide selection of things you would enjoy!
google avatar

Rodney S.

Yelp
The beer was good. The appetizers were good. The service was average. I enjoyed our visit. But it wasn't so great that I have to tell others about it or bring friends to it. There are better places in Jo Co.
google avatar

Duong N.

Yelp
Me and my boyfriend love this place not only just for their beer selection but the foods are also amazing. We usually come in on the weekends and drinks and foods come out really quickly.

Yelp
We popped in here after a long morning of travel from PHX - KC with two tiny humans. That's enough to need a beer, or 5! We were greeted with a big smile and had a really lovely experience! It was very quiet for a Wednesday at lunchtime, but I think happy hour, evenings, and weekends are their jam. This spot is not only a restaurant and brewery, but they have a store attached that sells supplies to make your own beer, and you can even take classes and make beer right there! How cool is that? I had their corned beef sandwich lunch special with tasty fries and a refreshing wheat beer. My husband had a beer sampler and a BBQ pulled pork sandwich... he enjoyed each beer, and the sandwich! Our toddler scarfed his grilled cheese and fries. The food was delicious, they were so nice to our kiddos (crayons/color pages, too!) and we would definitely recommend this spot. It is a great place to come with a group as it's large and open! The beer-making class would be so fun to do with friends or as a company outing. We'll be back on a future visit to see fam!

Yelp
Ok, so choosing St. Patrick's day to try a bar/pub for the first time -with a large group- probably wasn't the smartest, but we were celebrating a work event. We were able to call ahead earlier in the day to reserve a table, which was nice. I was the first one there, and the place was decently crowded with more people coming in by the moment. I got there at 6 and the sign said seat yourself so I'm guessing if any of the people currently there were staking early spots for the night, the people coming in after would be out of luck. I found our reserved table, which was in the "grain room" separate from the rest of the bar. Its a decent set up, but you couldn't really hear the music from the main room and they didn't turn the TV on for us until like 10 minutes before we left. I also slightly felt like we were an afterthought for our waiter, but once again chalking that up to the holiday. I ordered a cocktail off their menu, the pink panther, which was a deliciously refreshing take on a vodka cranberry, made with raspberry vodka and the addition of lemonade. I loved it. To eat I ordered the smothered Bacon fries. They were decadent. They come covered in cheese sauce, topped with bacon, pico de Gallo, crumbled queso fresco, and a Thai chili sauce that hits you with a burst of sweetness. I scraped that plate clean. I also tried a couple bites of appetizers ordered by others. The Bavarian pretzels were crispy and perfectly salty, if a tad bit greasy. The jalapeno cheese curds were my favorite. Lightly crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and the perfect amount of spice. I would definitely like to come back and give this place another shot on a more regular night.

Yelp
Why have I never been here before?! Craft beer and the best pretzel bites in KC! Brew Lab has a good selection of craft beer. None of them were outstanding (to a beer snob like me), but a handful were solid. Happy hour food prices can't be beat. $6 pretzel bites (plenty to serve 2 people) with mustard and queso. They had live music starting as we left. The food came out within 5 MINUTES after we ordered. Service couldn't be beat! Definitely will come back here.

Yelp
FANTASTIC!!!!! I came here with my mom for restaurant week and what a treat. Our waitress was Melissa, she is the manager and VERY lovely. She knew the menu, and assisted us in making the best decisions. I appreciate places that participate in restaurant week because this is a time when people want to get out and experience something new and this spot was new and delicious. The pretzel is THE BEST THING IVE EVER HAD!!! I know that sounds weird but it was pretzel pieces, fried and it tasted like butter, just perfection. The burger wS really good as well as the fries. Definitely will be back.

Yelp
One of the best bar food we had in a long time. Every dish we ordered were equally delicious. The atmosphere was chill and not too loud. There are some normal size tables and some high tables as well. Family friendly and they also have a changing table for our little one as well. We will definitely come back for more delicious food! Beer sample is good but it's an an acquired taste.

Yelp
Hi all! How many of you know that I love beer?! As I assume is typical with people everywhere... we occasionally have our creative streaks... or desire for creativity streaks. In my world of many friends as performers in different arts across the board, I think I get to see more of it than the average person. For those that have had the opportunity to chat with me, you know I am not a physically creative/artsy person. But what is all this about? Brew Lab, besides having a tap wall of over 15 different home brews (and a few brought in from other local breweries), also holds classes on how to brew different types of ales, beers, etc. They have a store on one side of their location with a variety of hops, yeasts, malts, and all the other things you need to make beers/ales. But that isn't all... Swinging by a place to grab a pint and learn a bit about brewing sounds like enough... but someone decided that a top notch kitchen filled with some wondrous drinking snacks is also a great edition. The menu is apt for the type of venue. You are not grabbing a steak here... it is the sandwiches and the nachos that will have you coming back over and over. The pretzels are divine! And of course what would a brewery be if they didn't make their own mustards, dips, sauces, and the like. Of course when ever you have a place that teaches, serves beer, and food... then they need entertainment! So of course there is a small stage which has live music a few times a week (you will want to check the chalk board as this changes days & times). And if that isn't going on there is a plethora of board games also on the shelves. The locations sells Crowlers (the can style growler) but will fill other growlers for you should you (like me) have one of those amazing insulated ones. Oh and for those of you that don't like beer... (or haven't found the one you do like yet).. they carry enough to make you some common mixed drinks, or a few bottles of local wine. I highly recommend giving this place a shot. After my 4th time here I have nothing but praises to sing about his place. Thanx for reading! And keep on drinkin! At Brew Lab!

Yelp
One of the only breweries near Prairie Village. Went on a Tuesday afternoon and it was dead, so kinda weird vibes but makes sense for the time of day. Decent menu, just classic bar food. The beer list was great. The fries had good flavor but were very oily/fried, little potato. Would come back.

Yelp
After multiple (and all delicious) trips to Brew Lab, I'm finally getting around to sharing how great a spot this is. And more on the beer, which is also great, in a minute. This microbrewery and home brewing service is very accessible, for walkers, bikers, families, groups or just to hang out by yourself. In nice weather the garage doors get thrown open and the place has a cool vibe to it. For first timers, you've got to try a flight so you can sample the delights. On this trip they had enough new brews I went with a flight myself. The UpUpDownDownLeftRightLeftRightIBAStart is an American Amber and very tasty! Also great were the Mad Science, a just brown ale and the Triticum, their wheat beer. My wife tried the in store made hard seltzer and really liked the lemon lime and mango version. they also do a nice job on their craft cocktails. On Sundays they do an all-day happy hour, with both drink and food specials. Speaking of which, while we were just stopping in for a cold one, we always enjoy their Bavarian Pretzel Bites and their Hummus and cheese plate. Both are huge and great to pair with their beers! Crystal was behind the bar and she was awesome. Funny, knowledgable and super service.

Yelp
Convenient to the OvPk Farmers Mkt. Would highly recommend their pretzel bite appetizers. Soft & buttery.
