"Manchester Grand Hyatt recently revamped Redfield’s Sports Bar, located on the lobby level of the Seaport Tower, into a new gastropub for downtown visitors and residents. Called Brew30 California Taps, the eatery spans a 4,500-square-foot space that holds a whopping 22 TVs and a big screen projector for game watching. There are 28 rotating taps dedicated to local breweries including Fall Brewing Co., Thorn Brewing, Modern Times Beer and The Lost Abbey, plus two taps that will pour barrel-aged cocktails from local distillery Cutwater Spirits. Brew30 California Taps also features a full bar with top shelf liquor, and private dining room; it’s menu includes The Brew30 Burger made with grass fed beef topped with candied bacon, a fried egg, caramelized onion, jalapeno, and a special sauce and The Impossible Burger, a meatless, plant-based patty topped with mixed greens, jalapeno-tomato jam and smashed avocado, both on a Sadie Rose bakery bun, plus appetizers, sandwiches and sides. Open from 11 a.m. to 11p.m. daily, Brew30 has also partnered with Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens - Liberty Station’s Senior Manager of Brewing & Innovation, Kris Ketcham, on an ongoing beer release series called Freshfor30. The first limited edition brew is a 7.5% ABV India Pale Ale with notes of citrus, stone fruit and pine." - Candice Woo

Super cute bar with an arcade. Walked over during Comic-Con and it did not disappoint! The dry rub wings were delicious! The nachos and strips were right on point! Good beer on draft and never a bad idea to throw in a cocktail. Staff was working hard, we didn't wait long at all and all the food was great! Great place on the edge of the Manchester Hyatt ❤️

Google
They just reopened with the new concept. Look forward to seeing their new food menu but was ok with the option of ordering from the expensive market next door and bringing food over this time. Love the concept and the service. Bartender was so nice and attentive. Looks like a great spot for sports and some games. If you care for examples of pricing- bud light at 12, a shot of Jameson 15, House Cab 14. Will be back for the ambiance!

Google
Delicious burgers! I would highly recommend this place if you are in the mood for a flavorful burger which won't leave you too stuffed or greasy. The side salad and onion rings are wonderful. Try to replace the cheddar with pepperjack and add sliced jalapenos to the burgers.

Google
I don't really drink so I didn't bother with that. Great Jamaican Burger -- cooked right, flavorful. Attentive staff. Fried pickles are whole pickles instead of sliced, which was something I'm not used to. I recommend going here if you need food but don't want to leave necessarily. Bill came out to be about $30.

Great Beer 🍺 and Sports Bar!! Awesome service from Ian and good chicken 🐔 strips too.

Google
My friend and I came to try what appeared to be a very interesting menu. We ordered the Brew30 Burger and the Brisket sandwich. The burger was good but nothing to write home about. The Brisket was extraordinarily dry and overcooked. I typically order brisket for it’s tender, juicy, flavorful nature. I am not sure why the chef thinks flavorless brisket-jerky is a desirable ingredient in a sandwich. Following the dinner was the apple pie desert, also not terribly impressive, as the dish it came in was hot, the contents were room temperature. Isn’t apple pie supposed to be served hot? The staff was very friendly and the ambiance was generous.

Google
Wow wow wow this is a excellent place I really enjoyed the burgers and onion rings it’s attached to the Hyatt but it is not like other restaurants attached to hotels that are completely disgusting this one is very lively, hip place. The staff are very accommodating you can watch the ESPN channels in different directions, there is a bar, what really impressed me was they have the menu on tablets with pictures for everything, I don’t know maybe I am easily impressed but if you are looking for some comfort food this is the place definitely a foodie paradise. It’s children friendly.

Google
Really good burgers and a great view of the downtown area! I had the Brew 30 Burger with a salad and both were very good. I didn’t grab a drink this time but the beer list looked worth exploring. Definitely eat outside if you can.

Yelp
I thought the food was good. Ample amount of TVs and all to watch some sports. We liked the Bavarian Pretzel sticks, warm and doughy with really tasty beer cheese dip. The massive "wings" were interesting. Four whole wing sections of the chicken instead the traditional drum or winglet. Decent seasoning and some tasty dipping sauces but sweet Jeebus were they crazy oily hot. See the issue with frying the entire wing section of a chicken is that there's a ton of skin there and oil will get trapped in the skin pocketing and if an unsuspecting hungry football watching man bites into a whole oil filled skinned wing, that pocket of oil is going to burst and burn your mouth. I hope I'm not the only idiot that that's happened to. But ouch upon ouch. Burned mouth meant it was hard to enjoy the pulled pork sandwich later on and even my beer tasted awful with a burned tongue and mouth. Watch out for those wings. Service was good. Place is very nice. Located in the massive Grand Hyatt so super convenient if you're staying there! Cheers.

Yelp
They now charge a 6% surcharge. I would NOT recommend this spot. The staff could not handle the amount of people. It was one bartender handling all orders. Took us more than 20 minutes to order. They kept serving people sitting at the bar. All signs said to order at the bar. Only when a line formed behind us did someone else walk over to take orders. All my friends were all in line and we ordered and they tried to lump our check together. Even though we were ordering separately and waited in line. After I complained they finally separated the checks but the orders were still wrong and one of the burgers came out very late we had to ask for it. Food and drink were fine. Burger was well done and super oily as was the bun. Fries were decent. I will never ever come back. This place was horrible.

Gary N.

Yelp
The place is temporarily shut down for renovation, I could be wrong, but I was here before they close, since they are holding this area for more private events at the hotel, they still serve food and drinks, just not to the public, unless you are here for a corporate conference or summit of any kind, I still can get some decent sandwiches and salad here for togo, but next door is Market One, that opens 24/7, you can try that instead for the time being.

Yelp
Lobster Roll & Crab Cakes Great bar in Manchester Grand Hyatt Tasty but a little pricey. Cozy interior and friendly staff

Lawrence C.

Yelp
There is an arcade inside that you will enjoy and to order food & drinks you will have to order it at the bar. The service is good given it's busy during comic con. The vibe itself warm and friendly. I ordered the beef nachos with everything. It was really good and filling with lots of meat, peppers, and tomatoes. I shared it with my gf and it makes good bar food marvelous for something late at night. Next time I'll come back with the chicken tenders or nuggets selection.

Connie M.

Yelp
Conveniently located inside the Hyatt it's a good place to gather. I can't speak for any of the actual games they had but the waiters were attentive and the drinks decent.

Darryl G.

Yelp
Right now, Brew30 is having a vintage arcade game popup with 30+ games, cocktails that match the arcade theme and food that you can order from the market next door. They had games that were ideally suited for the kids too, so it'll be a good family meal and outing too. Two thumbs up for the friendly staff that work here.

Shelby S.

Yelp
Stumbled on this bar when walking around downtown and it was the BEST!! Tyler, the bartender, took great care of us over the week we were in SD. The food was bar food, so the options were a little limited but the wings were great :) The vibe was awesome. Plenty of good games, good drinks, and good food. 10/10, will go again!

Mike V.

Yelp
Came here after the debacle I had at another restaurant. Was served immediately by the bartender, service was great. Had the burger and fries which were good. Cool arcade games around that I wasn't able to play. Would recommend if you're staying at the hotel and need a quick bite.

Angela C.

Yelp
This is a huge, spacious restaurant in the Manchester Hyatt with pretty good food and drinks! The burgers and brews are definitely solid options here. Be aware that there is a 4% surcharge tacked onto your bill to "offset minimum wage increases". I'll chalk it up to the cost of doing business, but it sure would be nice if they disclosed this beforehand instead of after you're handed your bill. The highlight of our meal was definitely my Cali Burger. They asked me how I wanted it cooked, and I said medium rare, and they overcooked it. But the components made up for it. It came with super fresh guacamole, roasted tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and their house sauce (similar to the in-n-out spread). The patty was made with grass-fed beef and good portion size. Every burger order comes with your choice of onion rings, fries, or salad. We also ordered the jumbo wings to share, and they're not like your traditional buffalo wings. Unfortunately, they were really dry and I wasn't a fan. Comes with three dipping sauces (Buffalo, BBQ, and ranch). The kids shared a kids burger - it's just a plain burger without lettuce or cheese, so just a meat patty in a bun. Good for simple or pickier eaters I guess. All kid meals also come with a side of fries.

Yelp
1st of all, This place is very lowkey but easily I have eaten my Best Burger of 2019 here! I worked and managed to small team for a convention out in San Diego and after a long week figured that I should have a big fat burger to celebrate! Well, I initially came because it's a brewery I'd figured that they had some nice beers on tap to celebrate....but after reviewing Yelp and seeing servers bring out some really delicious looking food, I definitely couldn't leave without trying an amazing burger from this place. Needless to say, The food here is delicious and service was, although a bit slow, respective and professional. I Came here because it's located in a hotel then I was staying at during the week, but I will return because of the amazing food. Take a look for yourself! For this meal, I requested my egg to be fried hard and it came out that way, onion rings were crispy and delicious, and I love how they put the pickles on the side. Me personally, I like to eat my pickles after my burger Service:4/5 Food: 5/5 Ambience: 4/5 Prices: 4/5

Anna G.

Yelp
Came in for dinner but only got a cocktail. The kids in my party got burgers to go. I really wish they had more to the menu. It left a lot to be desired. It even mentioned burgers and hot dogs but the only hot dog I saw on the menu was under the kids section. They could definitely use some variety and a few more options besides 3 burgers and a chicken sandwich. The margarita was ok but it was also $15. We ended up going to the market next door and spending even more money to get better food and desserts.

Yelp
Really solid spot for a ton of beers, cocktails and glasses of wine. The establishment is connected to the Grand Hyatt Manchester hotel, just a stone throw away from the Gaslamp district. You'll find tons of tablets and bar space available with a huge array of TVs - ideal for watching any sports game. Some favorite drinks include the coffee stout and guava-infused beers! Glasses come in multiple sizes and shapes. And if you're interested to couple your drinking experience with coffee, there's a starbucks immediately next to the restaurant entrance.

Nicole Y.

Yelp
Stayed at the Hotel the restaurant is in. The Grand Hyatt offered a $10 dining voucher as well as a free draft beer so I decided to stop by and watch the World Series. I ordered the wings which came with ranch, BBQ, and buffalo sauce. There were 4 huge pieces fried and crisped to perfection. The skin was brown and the meat inside was still tender and soft. For my drink I had their Cherry Old Fashioned ($12) and a couple of local draft beers. Their drinks were strong and not watered down and the selection of local craft beer were pretty decent. The servers were nice and attentive and the restaurant was very cozy. Great place to stop by to relax at before heading to bed.

Yelp
Tonight was my second time coming to Brew30, and it's definitely not going to be the last. It's located right off the lobby of the Grand Hyatt but also has a storefront entrance outside. It's also close enough to Seaport Village that you could just as easily stroll through the village to walk off those huge portions. The food is consistently great. The sriracha burger was full of flavor and had enough kick to keep my interest (coleslaw belongs on burgers, I said it!) and the bird also had a perfect garlic aioli that paired great with the smashed avocado. My favorite thing, though, hands down are the jumbo wings. When they say JUMBO they mean it! Four huge wings (flat and drum) perfectly seasoned and crispy served with ranch, buffalo sauce, and bbq sauce. I only wish more came in a serving because then we would come just for that. The service was great. Erin was quick to get our orders in and out so we had plenty of time to get to the Yelp event next door. Love coming here for dinner when coming to Seaport Village.

Vinh G.

Yelp
One of the best burgers I've had in a while! I ordered the Cali burger with added jalapeños. I asked for the burger to be cooked medium, it was cooked a little over, but honestly it was still juicy and tasty. They have a good selection of brews and I would definitely come back. It is a little pricey, but considering the convenience of it being right in the hotel, if you don't have time to go out, I would recommend grabbing a burger and a beer.

Adam R.

Yelp
This little restaurant joint is in the bottom of the Hyatt. If you're in the area and looking for a decent burger, stop on by. I was there for a work conference at the hotel and needed dinner one night in a pinch. I didn't want to travel very far (no car), nor did I want to order and pay a premium for delivery, so I opted to head downstairs to Brew30 and check them out. The folks inside are quite nice. The truffle fries and garlic aioli are pretty good, but I will honestly have to say: PASS on the grilled chicken sandwich. While I actually received a great piece of meat, itself, it was completely unseasoned and bland in taste. Yeah, I get it... I ordered a chicken sandwich from a burger spot. Still, if it's on the menu, they should be able to do it justice, right? Ah well, it sufficed for dinner that night, even with a little bit pricier of a bill than one would normally think for a mundane chicken sandwich and some fries, but whatever. I'd go again, just order a burger instead of chicken. The rest of their menu sounded pretty good too.

Travis P.

Yelp
This place was a pleasant surprise. Great food, and they have great portions. Friendly staff and they have NA beer available. If you stay at the Hyatt and love burgers, do their Brew30 burger. It's fantastic.

Jim E.

Yelp
Located in the lobby of the Manchester Grand Hyatt this place was packed, they had a decent number of servers but it seems the kitchen was having trouble keeping up with the orders which for a property the size of the Manchester Grand Hyatt is a little hard to believe, once we found a seat out waited let us know that it would probably be about 30-40 minutes for the food, this was much appreciated, and after ordering it was almost right on 40 minutes when the food arrived. We all had burgers, 2 beef and one Incredible Burger all three were good. Price was on par with a hotel bar, but the food was good and they get an extra star for the waiter letting us know of the delay in the kitchen.

Todd D.

Yelp
Damn good burgers and brew! If you are looking for a really good hamburger and a great selection of beer, come check this place out. I ate here by myself here in San Diego tonight. The menu is very simple; a couple of hamburgers. A couple of salads. The burger is cooked perfect with lots of taste. The bin is crispy. The bacon had a maple taste. Great selection of beer. I had a citrus flavored. Perfect. The service is a bit slow and it is kind of noisy. But not worth dropping below a 5 star.

Alison C.

Yelp
Was a little unsure being a hotel restaurant. They usually aren't that great. This place was awesome! Huge burgers and super delicious. Juice running down you hands. Throughly messy and good. I got the truffle fries which I loved. I just got full too fast. I still dream about that hamburger. Super delicious. Can't wait to go back.

Yuki M.

Yelp
Popped in for a quick couple nights stay just to get away from OC. After a long ride inland through the mountains and down to the border, we headed back up and check-in before settling down for a beer and apps. The bar counter was large and wrapped around the service area so that was easy. Bartender was very friendly with great charisma without being cheesy. He had generous pours and an easy smile. Appetizers ordered for dinner were chips and salsa and guacamole, truffle fries, and pretzel bites which were more like fluffy clouds of warm buttery goodness. Chips and salsa were whole fried tortillas stacked on a tray. You cracked them as you went along and they were on the thicker side which was very nice since the guac was also dense. Truffle fries were great. I'd order two of these if not for society's standards against gluttony. Pretzel bites were phenomenally comforting. I ate almost the entire pile and wanted to go for more, but I had to finish the guac first and by the time that was done, I still wasn't full and was eye balling the burgers. Prudence won out so I filled up on another beer then walked away to dream about bacon and ground beef. There's a small cigar humidor next to the bar area but as expected in a bar/hotel, they are criminally over-priced, not to mention that there is NOWHERE to smoke them. Loved the atmosphere and local beers on tap. Whiskey selection is not impressive so go for beers instead of paying $20 for a shot of 10yr Bulleit bourbon worth $4. Very happy to come again and since I stay at the Manchester regularly, I am looking forward to a rerun.

Ian B.

Yelp
For a hotel restaurant and bar it's one of the better but does come with its own set of issues. Food 3/5 - the food is ok, but not amazing. They do have some insanely good French Fries but the rest of the menu is average at best. Service 3/5 - If you sit at the bar you will get pretty good service but anywhere else it's hit or miss. The second night I came here a group of people walked out very angry because they got zero service. Beer 5/5 - Great local beer selection and also a full bar. Like I said if you are staying at the Hyatt or nearby and want a burger or some good beer I would come here. If you are not there are plenty of other spots nearby.

Eric B.

Yelp
The beer is good. The brew 30 burger is great. Wish I could give more stars....I sat at the bar... The service is awful. The place was at 20% occupancy and the servers shuffled around talking and did not acknowledge myself and several others presence for over 10 minutes. There must be no incentive for them to try or everybody must have been scheduled for break at the same time. Strangely, when helped, it seemed the female servers were rude when serving to men. Had to flag down a server to get the tab.

Tony M.

Yelp
Came to San Diego for a few days (my favorite city in the country) and staying at the Manchester Grand hotel which is so beautiful and right by the bay so the views are great! Arrived early afternoon so was hungry and came down to the restaurant Brew30, nice atmosphere and views. Was very busy due to a real estate convention. They have a pretty nice selection of beer on tap here and decided to try a seasonal pilsner. Ordered the brew30 burger, bacon, fried egg, cheese and was a good sized burger even for me and tasted pretty good. The food came before the beer, which is a first time for me, I like to drink my beer beforehand. Service was very slow, yeah there's a convention going on but you staff accordingly. Then they just brought my tab over, guess I will pass on dessert then? May try again the day or so, maybe.

Bino P.

Yelp
If you are stuck at the Hyatt, perhaps wheelchair bound or maybe you have new robot legs that don't work and you cannot muscle the thought of leaving the safety of your hotel because of San Diego's terrible weather then yes! This place is just right for you! I kid I kid! It was ok.. nothing spectacular , a lil greasy, reasonable portions, and affordable price. I only went here because of a conference I was attending and it was decent. 3.7 stars.

Kurt K.

Yelp
Really good burgers and a great view of the downtown area! I had the Brew 30 Burger with a salad and both were very good. I didn't grab a drink this time but the beer list looked worth exploring. Definitely eat outside if you can.

Susie K.

Yelp
It's a regular restaurant that doesn't really stand out in the crowd of others like it (Yardhouse, etc.) Service, food, cleanliness, pricing is A-OK, but again, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again, especially if I wasn't staying at the hotel.

Jimmy L.

Yelp
What can I say about Brew30 that hasn't already been said about the city of San Diego as a whole?.....It's amazing. Brew30 was in the hotel I was staying so naturally it was super convenient for me to try but you don't have to be staying in the hotel to enter through the main entrance. The atmosphere is good both inside and out as they have patio seating with heaters if needed. Their selection of craft beer is pretty diverse. Their food, while it can take a while to get when busy, is top notch bar food. You can get a flight of 4 samples for $15 and I highly suggest that you do. While I'm at it, I have to strongly urge you to try the Belching Beaver Peanut butter Milk stout in tandem with the Bivouac Blackberry Jam beer.....you'll thank me later. The service is great and friendly. All in all I give it a 8/10 with the only downfall being the length of wait for food when you're in there around lunch time.

Leanne D.

Yelp
We came here for a beer and to watch the football game and decided to eat here. We started with the pretzel bites with a beer cheese sauce and mustard. These were delicious! My husband ordered the big dog and I ordered the grain bowl with chicken. The grain bowl was so tasty!!! Love the combination of sweet potatoes, faro, quinoa, cauliflower, almonds, dried cranberries etc was so satisfying. I would rate this a "5 star". On the other hand my husband was disappointed with the hot dog. It was not hot and the bun was not fresh. He would definitely not order this again. He would rate this a "2 star". The pretzel bites and grain bowl were a big hit but we would stay away from their dogs !

Cara C.

Yelp
Overall, nice place to dine in the Hyatt hotel. The brisket was a little chewy/tough. Impossible burger was yummy. It tasted pretty similar to real meat. The chicken Cobb was very good. I personally like my salad leaves pre-chopped, but overall, it tasted good.

Jessica N.

Yelp
Been here a couple times, once for late night drinks and another during comic con, from what I remember. Service can be a little slow but the cocktail menu is pretty awesome lots of beer! As if you couldn't tell from the name haha.... really love the pretzels and the set up of this place. Lots of individual high tops or booths that have TVs, would be an ideal spot to watch a game or something like that with a few friends. can't speak to most of their food but the menu has things that I'd certainly like to try! It's located at the bottom of a hotel so some people might be wary, but I say give it a try!

Johnny C.

Yelp
Pretty mediocre restaurant located inside the Manchester Grand Hyatt. The GF and I mainly came here because it was close to Comic Con, and they were running a special Hulk smash avocado burger. The Hulk smash burger has bright green buns, which really adds creativity points to this restaurant. Although the burger was aesthetically pleasing, the patty fell a bit short of our expectations because there was not enough seasoning and it tasted a bit dry. The guac was flavorful on the burger, but the cheese was not melted onto the patty, which would have enhanced the overall flavor profile of the burger. Let's not forget that we also ordered an appetizer, which was the spicy battered cauliflower. This appetizer was decent because the batter was crisp and light, but if they could slightly ease up on the spices that would have been perfectly balanced for this appetizer. Overall, even though it's close to the convention center, I don't think the GF and I will return to Brew30 because there are better restaurant options around this price point near the con.

Sean L.

Yelp
OMG! We both had the Maytag blue cheese burger, talk about melt in your mouth flavor explosion! Cooked perfectly with a side of sweet potato fries and washed down with one of the many beers on Tap. They have a large menu for tap beer, many local and all kinds from lagers, IPA's and light beer. Great wait staff and a cool relaxed vibe. Definitely will eat here again! Highly recommend this place for anyone that wants a great burger and cold beer!

Keli K.

Yelp
I've eaten from here two times so far during my stay here. 1st time I had the turkey burger, which had shrimp on it. It was a lot of burger. Like A Lot. You get your money's worth as they're is almost too much food/meat. And the Truffle fries. This time is the American burger and Truffle fries. Is it obvious that I really like the Truffle fries? I have had great luck with great servers both times I've placed my order, to go both times, second time having a drink at the bar while I waited. I will say I was surprised that both times, I was allowed to take glass wear back to my room. 1st time was my smores dessert, 2nd time was my drink. I really like the food, it hasn't disappointed.

Shelly A.

Yelp
Worst service I have experienced in a very long time. The food runner who was very friendly dropped our food and said be sure to let her know if we needed anything. Unfortunately, we didn't notice we needed silverware until she left. Five plus minutes later we are able to flag our waiter down to get silverware so we could begin eating. We both ordered Cowboy Salads (steak salad). No complaint about our food but the service was horrendous. We never saw our waiter again after delivery of the silverware. After waiting ten minutes after we finished our meals we were able to flag down another restaurant employee to get our check. Meanwhile another family of 8 got up and walked out after waiting 10+ minutes just to be greeted.

Lora R.

Yelp
Our first stay at this Hyatt. Ordered food from here this eve to being back to room. Maybe we were pumped up from reviews, but we thought food was just ok. We likely wouldn't go out of our way to come back. We had the brisket burger and the jerked burger with fries. We also ordered onion rings, wings, & fried cauliflower. Cauliflower was probably my favorite, hubby liked jerked burger and cauli. Fries tasted sweet to me which I thought was kind of weird, onion rings were typical type, wings were big but kind of boring/bland. We got smores and apple pie for dessert but haven't eaten that yet. Will update if it affects stars. Worth mentioning: thought it a little "different" to be charged 18% gratuity for a take out order.

Jenny P.

Yelp
We are staying at the Hyatt, where this restaurant is located so naturally, we are going to try it out sooner or later. My review is based on the two times I went here in one day (Tuesday). 1st time, had a friend who came to the hotel to visit me and we only had about an hour to catch up and grab a bite. She wanted a salad so we headed over to this restaurant. It's about 1pm so there's no hostess and it wasn't busy; you just walk in and seat yourself. The waitress came over fairly quickly and took our order. I got the Chicago dog and the bloody mary drink and my friend got the Cobb salad and a glass of white wine. The food quality was pretty good and their bloody mary is perfect (comes with candied bacon, lime, lemon, olives and rimmed with celery salt). We ate and drank everything so I guess that means first try was a winner! 2nd time was with my two business partners of whom I came here with for a conference that was being hosted by the hotel. Time was about 8pm and it seemed like the dinner rush was over. We requested to sit in the front section by the hostess because the noise level allowed us to be able to converse about business without having to yell. We ordered the jumbo wings (2x) and brew30 burger. We were surprised that the jumbo wings were actually delicious and not dry as some of the reviews said they were. The skin was nice and crispy and the meat was moist and tender. My only gripe is that I wish it came with the usual celery and carrot sticks because I always have to have some type of greens when eating a meal. On the other hand, I felt the burger was just okay, like it was missing something. In hindsight, we realized it was cheese that was missing-it doesn't come with it. The burger patty was dry as well but I have to admit, the fries were good. Overall, service and food was good.

Yelp
San Diego has many breweries to choose from and I chose this place. It's a nice brewery close to the downtown area. I had the beer flight bc they had too many choices and I had to try some beers. The steak salad was great. The fried pickles was good as well, but they are the long dill pickles, i was expecting the cut up fried pickles. This is a good place for food and beer.

Keith M.

Yelp
Service is sad. Not real busy either. Won't be back. Ordered one pint and took over 20 minutes to deliver.

Elizabeth S.

Yelp
I stopped by the bar after the Brewer's Guild Festival for a beer and snack. The cauliflower was spectacular and I'd go back for it. Looked like a nice space with TVs and conveniently located to the convention center/hotels.

Troy B.

Yelp
Found this place on Yelp and thought it was a stand alone restaurant but when we arrived it is located in the Grand Hyatt hotel. Ordered the classic American burger. It comes with their house sauce and I opted for it on the side. The sauce turned out to be pretty good. Burger was really big and the onion rings are awesome. Was with a friend from Chicago and we ordered the Chicago dog so he could rate how a California restaurant makes a Chicago dog. It was really good as well and he said it was spot on (except for the toasted bun). Wait staff service was slow and it wasn't busy. Took 10 minutes just to get waters. Food came out quick though.

Yelp
OMG!! I thoroughly enjoy when I go out and there is actually something fried and different that I can eat. These Spicy Battered Cauliflower in Roasted garlic chive aioli is a huge hit! The truffle fries were ehhhh. Good sharable portion sizes too. There was a huge conference was taking place so it was busy and loud, but the staff was still very fast and attentive. I would recommend this venue.

Yelp
The 5 stars are solely for the burgers & fries. Real burger lovers like substantial, flavorful, and juicy burger meat. Not a slither of meat. Not a dry meatball. Not some unnecessarily stacked patties that do nothing for the tastebud experience. Brew30 has mastered the perfect burger at the perfect size. This was one that I had to do a double-taste of just to make sure I wasn't just starvation lovestruck. Against the underwhelming review of my friend who went there earlier in the week, we went back and I ordered the Cali burger that he had. I don't know what his problem was, but that burger was delicious. And the fries? They're seasoned nicely and crisp. They break up the dull salt flavor with a different mix of savory tones in addition to the right amount salt. It was the *exact* taste I was looking for. The next night, I accidentally got the American burger because I was too tired to remember which one I had ordered the first night. But I'm glad I had this one too. It reminded me of a slightly souped-up version of an In-N-Out burger because of the large patty (compared to In-N-Out's). Listen, if you're in the mood for a good, solid burger: this is the spot. BUT -- I do warn you: Good things come to those who wait. Service is slowww as hell. And I hope this is only because of the remodeling going on at the hotel but I hated leaving the restaurant smelling like burnt cooking oil. My sweater and hair couldn't shake the stench.

Yelp
During my stay at the Hyatt I went to this place for food and it was very good. Both times I got their salad. The first one was a chicken Cobb salad and the second was the cowboy steak salad. Both delicious and satisfying! The drinks are also delicious especially the specialty cocktails. If you're staying at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, drop by this place!

Yelp
Order the chili cheese fries. Just do it. Knocks your socks off. I also had the American cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. When ordering the sweet potato fries as a side of an entree, it doesn't include the garlic aioli. But you should still ask for it, because it was fabulous. My only complaint is that they don't carry pickles.

Yelp
The food was delicious! The chips and guacamole were unique. The chip was a cross between a tostada chip and a wafer. The pretzels were also delicious. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was for the speed of service.

Yelp
Great food with main squeeze . In San Diego at the Grand Hyatt. The atmosphere was great and the outside scene on the bay even more grand. Christine was exceptional in her suggestion on the menu selection.

Yelp
Lots of local and regional beer, great place to grab a drink, socialize and be seen. Not very busy on a Wednesday night, but the staff was really friendly and attentive. A little on the pricey side, but again, great place to socialize and have a few drinks.
