San Francisco Bars With Great Arcade Games | Eater SF

"Combining 25 beers, 6 pinball machines, and a dozen or so cabinet games, Brewcade is a gaming paradise in the Castro with a clean, industrial aesthetic. It’s as inviting on an afternoon as it is by evening, and it’s been a hit since it opened in 2014." - Caleb Pershan

Castro Bar and Restaurant Botellón Has Already Closed at 2200 Market Street | Eater SF

"I saw that neighboring arcade bar Brewcade recently sent a letter to the San Francisco Planning Department seeking to merge its smaller space, which lacks a kitchen, with the Botellón restaurant space, and the Planning Department is still considering that request." - Caleb Pershan

Hawaiian Celebrity Chef Sam Choy Opening Poke to the Max in San Bruno | Eater SF

"In the Castro, arcade bar Brewcade has sent a letter to the San Francisco Planning Department expressing interest in taking over the space next door, which is currently occupied by Mexican restaurant Botellón; at this stage it’s merely an inquiry." - Janelle Bitker

They just opened 3 months ago, and they already provide such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I went on Thursday, November 7th and was warmly greeted immediately upon entering, and was helped to make sure I had the right tokens. They have free darts and shuffleboard and a great selection at the bar. Will be back, can't believe a place like this exists!

I came to The Brewcade originally and had a great time. They had a token system where you put money into a machine and got tokens for the games. I had some tokens left over, so the staff wrote and signed a voucher saying I had 20+ tokens to use next time. When I came back last night, I found out they don’t do tokens anymore. I showed my voucher, but the staff said they couldn’t do anything for me. No discount, no free drink, nothing. That left a bad taste after what was otherwise a fun first experience. It’s disappointing because I liked the place at first, but the way the situation was handled made me feel like they didn’t value me as a returning customer.

Very chill and relaxed place, great atmosphere, and affordable prices on enjoying a night out. Highly recommended to check out, especially if you’re an Agawam local.

Enjoyed our visit as part of a bachelor night. Game assortment was good, pool table was very affordable and plenty of choices on tap. Woman at the counter was very friendly and accommodating. Will be back.

A true hidden gem! Family friendly nook featuring retro arcade games, a pool table, dart boards, Foosball, and more... serving a rotating selection of beers and wine. Old-school video games and beer... what more could you want??

Yelp
The place is pretty close to where I live & okay it's mostly a bar with not much food but I'm ways it's really unique deeming it's an arcade with a beer/wine part. Place is cash only but as I recall it has a couple pool tables, numerous video games/pinball/jukebox/tv sets etc but least I am giving you an idea (I opted not to do photography in the place for respect but maybe I could've done it-Idk) & in my case they will provide water if asked plus as I saw at the bar they had beer national/regional & the bartender does see it you can rest easy when you come in & even letting you soak everything all in if first time in & I guess for the arcade stuff they use tokens (I get it). Now you least get an idea & hopefully I have helped in my own way.
