Brew'd Coffee Bar

Very conveniently located coffee spot! They have traditional drinks and a menu for specialty drinks as well. Seating is minimal, mainly window seats and some tables outside as well. Looking through their specialty drinks, all are made without espresso and have an extra charge to add caffeine. I went with the iced Tiffany dreams latte and added espresso. The description was a peppermint white chocolate drink. The color is a beautiful blue from the butterfly pea flower, which also adds a slight earthy taste to the drink. Outside of the butterfly pea flower I didn’t really taste any peppermint or white chocolate, but it was a sweet drink. This also may be an unpopular opinion but I wish there was more ice. Within having my drink for maybe 5 minutes all the ice was melted and turned into a lukewarm latte. Service was great and my drink came out quick as well. I don’t think the Tiffany dreams latte was for me, but they had several others I’d want to try sometime.

A great spot to enjoy the sunshine and a delicious iced latte on a warm summer day! I tried their pistachio rose latte and am so glad I did - what a unique blend of flavors. Indoor atmosphere is beautiful but indoor seating is pretty much non-existent. We really enjoyed sitting outside though — there were several tables, large umbrellas for shade and well-landscaped planters for ambiance. This is one of the best coffee shop patios I’ve found since moving to DC. Their wifi did not work outside though - given the paucity of indoor seating perhaps they could consider getting a wifi extender. However, there was Xfinity wifi available in this neighborhood so I was able to get connected to that instead.

It’s a cute small cafe. It doesn’t have that many places to sit. However, I like their coffee. I ordered omelette with spinach and it was yummy.

I really liked the coffee and I thought it was a cute spot too. I got lavender oat milk latte. Service wasn’t great nor friendly.

My coffee this morning. I ordered a cappuccino and this is what came out. It's at least double the size of a proper cap. But I noticed that the foam looked great (barely any bubbles) and a bit of latte art. It actually tasted good and was the right temperature. So it was a tasty espresso drink, if not what I'd consider a cappuccino. The baristas were very nice, too, which always helps. Next time, I'll try a cortado.

My friends and I came across this place because we’d figured it would be a cute local coffee shop. Which it was, however we felt like the two staff members there weren’t exactly welcoming. They had a great selection of winter inspired coffees & lattes but on the wall there wasn’t exactly a description on what was in the coffee itself. My friends and I had asked about the coffee selections a few times & the girl there seemed annoyed based on her facial expressions & the way she was speaking to us.The coffee itself was great, however it could’ve been better if the staff there would be a tad bit more friendlier & made it with love.

Cute coffee shop in downtown DC! Love the clean café and the cherry blossom decor. There was only one barista working on an early Sunday morning. She was very nice and accommodated my three different coffee orders and pastries. I did have to wait a while, which I'm not used to (I'm on new york time lol) but it was well worth it! My Sakura latte was the perfect floral sweetness and my family enjoyed the mocha and cappuccino drinks. The almond croissant was perfect and so was the ham & cheese savory one! My total order was nearly $30, basically Manhattan prices! only other complaint is that it's quite warm in there; not sure if they turn on AC at a certain time? There's outdoor seating as well. Also, I'm not sure if there's WIFI, but if there is, it can serve as a nice workspace.

What an inviting place for coffee and a bite to eat. The corner location is lovely; floor-to-ceiling wraparound windows are fabulous. Their made-to-order hot drinks are well executed. Had a yummy cappuccino. The ham & cheese pastry is nicely savory, delicately baked. The almond croissant has a rich filling that's memorable. It's sparkling clean and bright inside. The outdoor seating area is pleasant. Enjoyed efficient customer service from the barista staff. Took part in the Be My Elite offer for February, which is what brought me to Brew'd in the first place. So, thanks to CM Sydney. I'll be back!

Solid local coffee spot!! Wish I could give half stars bc this really is a cute spot and super friendly staff! Location & atmosphere: 4/5 easy to find corner location, super bright with lots of natural sun and very clean Space: 3/5 it's pretty small inside with little seating. Does have a great outdoor space which would make it perfect for a spring to summer pick me up Food and drinks: 3.5/5 the black coffee was good nothing crazy but hot and what I was expecting. The almond croissant has a nice almond paste cinnamon filling, chocolate croissant was flakey but wish it was a bit more buttery and soft inside Overall a good experience and would go back for a coffee and sit outside

I saved Brew'd because they were featured in a collection of cherry blossom treats. I was intrigued and wanted to try their Sakura Latte but I didn't know what to expect. The lady at the front register told me it tasted like strawberry milk and didn't come with espresso. I ordered the latte with a shot of espresso and oat milk. It did not taste anything like strawberry and was a bit bitter, but still drinkable. I also ordered a chocolate croissant and blueberry muffin to go. The muffin was tasty but the croissant was a bit dry. The location was easy to find with limited street parking. The inside of the shop was bright and inviting. Customer service was great. I would revisit to try more items on the drink menu.

Cute and bright coffee shop with a great selection of syrups! I tried a latte with the brown sugar cinnamon syrup, which wasn't too sweet and didn't have a chemical-ly taste like a lot of flavored syrups often do. The interior is nice and bright due to floor-to-ceiling windows on two walls, although I do wish there was some more seating on the inside for some added privacy - the majority of the cafe is taken over by the barista station in the middle. They have a nice outdoor seating area as well!

I was really surprised when realized that it is a Nicoletta coffee house. Nicoletta is my favorite pizzeria in the area. The Coffee is good there.

Chocolate croissant and almond croissant were okay. Tiffany Dream latte was good but on the sweeter side. A con is that this place doesn't provide oat milk. Service was nice and friendly.

So many options in this cute coffee bar! Had awesome seating too, especially the corner window seat. If you're a fan of fancy lattes, then check out this spot!

I finally had a chance to visit Brew'd Coffee Bar after eyeing this spot for awhile. The staff were extremely friendly and happy to make adjustments for myself and my dad. The coffee itself was absolutely delicious! I ordered an oat milk latte and my dad ordered a mocha latte extra hot. Can't wait to make this my new coffee shop!

Got a kouign-amman sweet croissant pastry and an ice latte. The pastry was so good and paired very well with my latte

Brew'd Coffee Bar is the newest coffee shop in Mt. Vernon Square by the Capital View hostel and another coffee shop, Chez Lily. Here's what's to love: 1) Outdoor seating: There's oddly no seats inside, but there are plenty outside. That translates- only go when it's not raining outside. 2) Service: My barista was very friendly and fun to chat with. 3) Coffee: It's good. They brew La Colombe. The odd thing is the layout. You walk in and step down a few stairs to order your coffee or grab-n-go food. The coffee area takes up most of the space and looks like a space ship.

Got the matcha latte. Wasn't as flavorful as other places but still good. Brew'd coffee has the best straws in the business.

Princess party was mediocre. Seating outside was very nice but employee seemed uninterested in attending to the customers. Limited space inside.

Grabbed coffee from here yesterday morning. I was super excited to try it since it recently reopened, but was honestly underwhelmed. The latte wasn't great and neither was the hospitality.

Really solid coffee spot in Mount Vernon Triangle which offers outdoor seating. Went here on a Saturday morning and tried their Latte, Focaccia and croissant. Everything tasted good and the coffee shop it's self was vibrant with a good atmosphere. The only negative I took away from my experience was that they didn't offer recycling for the cups they provided.

Super cute little spot to stop in and grab a coffee or a bite to eat. My husband and I love walking here and the staff is always super friendly. Small space very well done!

They used to have amazing housemade syrups but since reopening, have changed to Monin. Paired with the pre-brewed coffee in carafes, save yourself the trip and hit up one of the other coffee shops in the area that actually put effort into their coffee.

Great new coffee shop in the area. Brew'd is one of the cheapest spots around the block (there are 3 other coffee shop within one block proximity, haha). Their coffee is one of the best ones as well. Great quality and smooth. I believe they use La Colombe coffee bean. We ordered the Pure Black Draft ($5), Mocha Latte ($4), Latte ($4), and a Breve ($4, latte w/half&half). We also got a Smoked Salmon Focaccia ($5) and a Tomato Focaccia ($5). We loved all the coffee that we ordered, especially the Breve that Cat (our awesome barista made for us). It was much creamy and much more flavored as well! Both focaccias were delicious. Their smoked salmon is freshly made in house everyday and their bread is aged for days. The smoke salmon focaccia was fully loaded with TONS of smoked salmon too! YASS!! My boyfriend and I were extremely satisfied with our visit and we are definitely coming back again since we are only a block away! I would love to try their pastries and the draft latte next time we visit!! Highly recommend this location! I think this will be my go-to coffee spot now! Hopefully, they will add more seatings, and outdoor tables soon! =)

Brew'd Coffee Bar is one of the best in the area for not only quality of product, but also service. Their baristas are so some of the warmest and friendliest people in the neighborhood! Beyond quality of product and service, the prices simply CANNOT be beaten. Their coffee is significantly cheaper than the coffee houses blocks away. That said, if you are looking for a delicious morning/midday snack, a more hearty meal, or some no frills, but excellent caffeine infused drinks stop by Brew'd.

I love my new neighborhood coffee shop. It's small, but trendy with great food selections (muffins, flatbreads, yogurt, etc.). They serve La Colombe coffee which is a delicious local supplier. The service here is also friendly. I would highly recommend their patio as well (see photo). Prices are comparable with other locally owned shops.

Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, non-dairy. Plenty of "Grab & Gos" for later or lunch. Friendly, fast service. So yummy fresh baked items - Nicoletta - On Site. Small, bright, corner shop with window seating, cushions are due any day. Outside cafe tables are also on the way. This is the location for Nicoletta's Take Out & Pizza Service.

Stopped In today because I was craving coffee. Never heard of this place but I saw the neon sign from the street BREWD. I walk In and Was immediately greeted with a huge smile by a curly head barista named Andi...she recommended I get a mocha with oat milk extra hot..Never tried oat milk before...I LOVED IT but overall I loved seeing the diversity and lgbtq support in such a clean and well put together coffee bar...she handed me a rewards card and told me to come back and see her, I will!!!

I love this cute coffee haven...Me and my dog took a scroll around and found this coffee bar...I walked in and was immediately greeted with smiles and hellos...The pastry selection was amazing and my mocha with oat milk was OUTSTANDING. The staff were sweet and welcoming...Best damn coffee I had in a while...Thanks again Jordan and Katt, lovely ladies

Went in to try this new coffee spot because it is close to my job. Went in and there was no one behind the register. Waited at least 5 mins and no one ever came out or asked if i needed assistance. It was not busy. Just one person was sitting down. Just went to another place to check out.

A friend of my recommended me to try this place out if I ever needed coffee. Today was that day. I came over to the bar and was welcomed with great customer service from Jordan. I was all over the menu until jordan step in with her knowledge of coffee. The menu had good options I went with a latte trying to keep it simple. The bar was clean on the inside also clean on the outside. Quick service is the best service. I will becoming back for my next fuel up!

This is the best coffee shop ever. They have plenty of food and will make you any drink you ask for. If they don't have it they always find a way to make it happen. They are also connected to a great restaurant Nicoletta which serves lunch and dinner. It's a win win spot you can spend all day with some great people and great food

Such a great addition to this area. They have a cute patio area to sit and enjoy your coffee with friends, or catch up on some work like I chose to. The coffee itself is roasted well it's not too bitter and has a ton of great flavor. Cant speak on the food items as I didn't have any, but I need to come back they had some really tempting options. Can't wait to make this my regular coffee place!

Best coffee place in the neighborhood! Love the staff, they feel like family! It makes my morning seeing them every day! Amazing iced oat milk mocha latte! (And there's this chocolate moose dessert that is irresistible!) the tomato and cheese open faced savory pastry is delicious too!

Love this place! Service is quick, efficient, and friendly and the coffee is delicious. My boyfriend and I started going here before work in the mornings and after a few days the barista already knew our orders. One of the best places to get coffee in DC!

absolutely not worth it. tried both an iced coffee and a latte. both were completely lacking in flavor. the cold brew was literally just cold bean water. didn't finish either drink. i'd opt for starbucks or peets or even a cup of local diner black coffee (which hit don't get me wrong, but this place isn't worth the price or the disappointment at ALL).

The customer service is amazing! I had the focaccia and a latte and it was delicious. The focaccia is also handmade and was incredible. Try this, you won't be disappointed.

Stumbled on this place while at a work conference. Best breakfast sandwich I've ever had!

Just had a delicious on-tap cold brew and a smoked salmon flatbread that was on special. The flatbreads are a nice touch and a big step above usual coffee shop fare. They feature house-made focaccia that is delicious and makes me want to try the pizza from the attached restaurant. The woman working there was extremely helpful, making recommendations and explaining the bakery items that were made in-house. It's a small space but very cute with great light and a lot of outdoor seating.

I recently went by this store on a Saturday to grab a coffee while out running errands. Cat was the sweet lady behind the bar and she was just wonderful! She was so welcoming and knowledgeable on all the items in the store. Thank you Cat and Brew'd for such great service (and a delicious coffee) and making my day!

This is officially one place that I will be returning to and all thanks to the amazing service that I received from Jordan. I'm not much of a coffee drinker but needed a quick pick me and Jordan found the exact drink that suited all my needs with her knowledge of coffee. Thanks again and I will be back soon
