The World’s First Beer Hotel Opens in Ohio - AFAR

"Opened August 27, 2018 and marketed as the world’s first crowd-funded beer hotel, this 32-room, beer-infused property in Columbus, Ohio sits on the site of an on-site sour-beer brewing facility and overlooks large oak foeders used for beer aging. Guests receive complimentary welcome pints at check-in, and rooms feature in-room taps pouring seasonal beers from the adjacent brewery, built-in beer fridges, and showers stocked with locally made craft-beer soaps. The hotel offers an immersive beer-focused program that includes an interactive craft-beer museum, brewery walk-throughs with special tastings, beer-pairing menus for every meal (including breakfast), and playful on-site activities such as beer pong; spa treatments are similarly beer-themed, with options like a hop face mask and a malted-barley massage. Select rooms are pet-friendly, and standard rooms start at about $162 per night." - David K. Gibson

Super disappointed in our stay. We stayed 8/1-8/2 for our 5 year wedding anniversary. We thought it would be like a little mini getaway, but most of what is advertised wasn’t offered. In the room there is a paper that states they do cookies and stouts from 7p-9p, which they didn’t. Online it mentions the included breakfast offered beermosas, it didn’t. We made sure to mention that we were bringing our dog when we made the reservation as the website request, but there was not a water bowl in the room or the welcome treats that are mentioned online. We went into the gift shop to buy a toy for our pup, and there was nothing. The other brewdog locations I’ve visited have offered more than this dog friendly based location. In addition to that, the record player in our room didn’t work. We thought we were paying the higher price to stay here for a cool experience, but ended up being just like any other dog friendly hotel. The brewery aspect of the stay definitely didn’t really shine through. On a positive note, the staff we did interact with were very nice. We opted not to bother them with our disappointment because they were short staffed and trying to set up for a wedding, but we appreciated the friendliness.

Absolutely loved our stay! The entire vibe was spot on; cool, laid-back, and full of character. From the moment we checked in and were greeted with a complimentary beer, we knew we were in for a great time. The in-room tap was such a unique touch and totally on brand, it really set the tone for the whole experience. There was no shortage of fun with the next-door restaurant and bar, table shuffleboard, board games, and even ping pong to keep us entertained. Every staff member we encountered was super friendly and added to the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a fun, memorable place to stay with a unique twist. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed here during our cross country move. We had a 26’ U Haul and had plenty of space for us to park. All staff we encountered were helpful and kind. Food at the restaurant was great. The property was beautiful and well maintained. We enjoyed being able to take a walk around after being cooped up in the car all day. And the room was clean, comfortable, and we loved being able to grab beers out of the mini fridge after a long drive. Highly recommend, would stay here again!

Had father's day dinner there. Most of the food was good. My granddaughter ordered a hamburger but, it came out raw in the middle when she ordered it well done. They bright her a new one so all was good. Service was a little slow. But, we had a large last minute unexpected party of 10. And they had 3 other large parties and they accommodated us. My granddaughter played rock, paper, scissors with the waiter and won a free dessert. But, I will give it a 7 and try it again.

Before I get into the details of why I'm providing only a 3-star review, I do want to highlight the friendliness of the Team that was on-site. Each team member that I encountered was very friendly and willing to help immediately. The concept of this 'hotel' is awesome...unfortunately, the execution needs some work. We arrived VERY late on the night of our check-in and when we finally got into our room, the room had been slept in and not cleaned. No big deal- we quickly got a new room. This room could use a bit of love; there were cobwebs on the walls, one of the pillowcases had a huge gash in it, there was no blind on the door leading outside, the trash can outside on the patio was filled with dog poop, the TV remotes did not work and the shower fridge did not go below 50, resulting in lukewarm beer. As I first stated, the front desk was so helpful and kind and gave us new batteries for the remote (fixed one, the other the batteries had exploded), a new pillowcase and a sheet to cover the door with no blind. Easy enough to fix, but still a bit disappointing for the price we paid per night. Additionally, the dog run area was overgrown and there were no poop bags (we had our own!), but since it's advertised, you'd hope that they would be stocked. The concept is there....just need to fine tune the details a bit!

Highly disappointed and would not recommend… Don’t get me wrong, the concept of the places is GREAT. It’s a beautiful place, and has a lot of great attractions outside and in the rooms. You have a mini bar fridges in the rooms, the atmosphere is different and intriguing. Beautiful place in all, BUT we were assigned a room and when we went to go in the card didn’t work, so went to the front desk and she said they’re might be someone in the room already and we went to another room. When we went to get into bed the sheets were DIRTY. Absolutely disgusting. We get assigned a third room and the sheets seemed clean but then there was a chair in the corner that was absolutely once again disgusting. The glasses in the room, coffee maker, etc was all dusty and clearly haven’t been cleaned. On top of all of that they offer a 24 hour pretzel you can have delivered to your room by texting a number and I never received it or didn’t even get a text back… everything was great, but none of that matters when the rooms are dirty. I woke up multiple times feeling disgusting.

The staff here are some of the kindest I’ve ever met. After a long travel day and arriving early, they rushed to prepare my room and offered a free meal while I waited in a quiet, cozy space. I didn’t even have to explain, I felt instantly cared for. The room was spotless, beautifully detailed, and full of character. The food and drinks were fantastic, and breakfast was a highlight (easily the best bacon I’ve ever had). This place goes above and beyond, true hospitality at its finest.

We cannot recommend the BrewDog DogHouse highly enough. Staying in the hotel is such an unique experience, and they have thought of so many ways to make our stay feel special. The food at the restaurant is unique and delicious. We also really enjoyed the museum and learning about the history of brewing beer and BrewDog specifically. Definitely a place to visit in the Columbus area.

Yelp
Stayed at the brew dog doghouse hotel and grabbed dinner at the restaurant when we checked in -- WOW. Wonderful tacos and Cobb salad. Fantastic brew dog berry cider. My husband had the rice lager. Just a really good staple and awesome experience. 10/10 recommend.

Yelp
I heard from multiple people about this spot and of course had to use this as our weekly family night. Very nice and accommodating to people who do not like going out without taking their pets at home. As for us, our dog stays home! Nonetheless the atmosphere of this spot is very hip, service was friendly, and although this place was very busy, the seating was very quick. Facilities were clean, huge plus. This place still is a brewery , first and foremost, so the brew is pumping here. I really didn't get the family setting like I thought it would be, and maybe because I've always gone to blue collar, pub style, diner types all my life. This place isn't hoity toity by any means, but family night feel, I didn't get from this spot. So lets get to the food, my wife wasn't too hungry so she had a salad, nothing too fancy or unforgettable about it. The Fast Joe burgers were cooked to medium, not the backyard burger I like, but not bad either. The steak knife in the middle is cliche, and not necessary. Also ordered a side of the truffle fries, which if you haven't gotten your salt intake, then these should send you over. Heavy with garlic, too much salt on the fries. Definitely not fresh fries. I ordered the chocolate cake , and honestly didn't even realize the price. The single slice of cake w/ a scoop of ice cream was $14. Damn! That's close to an order of wings. Overpriced items on the menu, for what we got. Will we be back, not sure, but the waitress (Debra T.) was very nice, swift, and professional. Food was eh, atmosphere was where my money went though.

Yelp
Went on a Wednesday around lunch. We are traveling across country and wanted to try the original since we have been to the BrewDog in Vegas. What a disappointment!!! We have a dog so had to sit outside. Not a problem. Before sitting went to dog park to let our dog off leash for a little, gross! YThe area is not mowed and pretty high, mostly weeds. The server at the bar was very friendly and helpful. The flights we chose we enjoyed. We ordered the fried chicken sandwich which was overcooked and the thigh was small compared to bun. Glad we are passing through, would not come back!!

Yelp
I'm not sure what happened between now and the last time we ate at BrewDog Tap but the food was not up to par. We ordered Korean BBQ wings that were supposed to be breaded and sauced. What we got was not even close. The wings were not breaded but were dry and not sauced. The wings tasted and looked like the went straight from the freezer to the fryer. No taste at all. I also ordered a Caesar salad that was not up to par. The salad consisted of Romain lettuce, croutons and over peppered. Not one bit of cheese was visible or to taste. I basically paid for a container of lettuce. We were so disappointed and will not be back unfortunately. Please do better. The only thing that was consistent was the great customer service.

Yelp
What amazing food! The servers are all very prompt to greet you and give you the run down of the offerings. The food came Out fast and fresh. I had the beyond burger and it had flavor which made my day. The fried cauliflower was amazingly as well the out side and inside were crispy and the sauce was delicious. The truffle fries and the pretzel were Delicious as well. The beer was amazing they are heavy on the IPA but I'm an IPA girly. The restaurant is cute and cozy. The decor really give elevated brew house. There is also an amazing museum and gift shop be sure to check out both you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
Brew Dog has some great food and drink options. We've been there multiple times. Try the Mugshot, if you like dark beer, and the Brussel Sprouts for a side. They are mouth-watering. We tend to sit at the bar. It's first come, first serve. The bartenders typically are super attentive and very friendly. I think Brew Dog is mostly known for their ambiance. It can be whatever you want. It can be a casual , family dinner, a fancy date night, or just to grab a beer. This evening, we stopped for dessert. It was okay. My cheesecake was frozen, and my husband said the cake was just chocolate cake. We'll still go back, just probably not order dessert.

Yelp
It's a pretty cool place. I'm staying in the hotel part and ate dinner at the restaurant. The burger was pretty amazing, the fries yeah Just Ok nothing spectacular, could use more seasoning? The chairs at the bar are Not comfortable! No back Support and the armrest are so low you can't reach them. The rooms are pretty cool. They have a refrigerator next to the shower for a beer in the shower. They even have robes in the closet.

Yelp
After getting no response from the manager, I decided to write a review here. First off, we were sat at a dirty table. After waiting several minutes for someone to come, we eventually grabbed a spray bottle and cleaned it ourselves. The food was good but the portion sizes were laughable. My husband also had a hair in his food. We brought all this to our servers attention and she was nice about it but offered very little compensation. To make matters worse, we chose to pay by QR code and noticed a $2.99 platform fee after paying. We would never have paid that way had we known there would be an additional fee. All in all, there is huge potential for this place but for now it's severely lacking.

Yelp
We stayed at the hotel for a night and stopped over to the restaurant to grab some drinks and food. Tuesday night is Trivia night which was a fun surprise. It was also taco Tuesday which meant deals on taco and beeritas. We tried both, the tacos were really good but the beerita was not our favorite. We enjoyed our flight more since it included some of our favorites.

Yelp
This is one dog house you wouldn't mind spending a night or two in. (I want to preface this post and say that a big group of my friends and I spent the Memorial Day weekend at this hotel/brewery and that my discussion will be a generalized overview of my experience in the drinking section.) It was a sunny Friday evening when my friends and I descended upon this hotel for a weekend of fuzzy memories and great times. After we checked in and chugged our free 'check in' beers, we hit up the brewery for some food and drinks to start the unwinding process. The place was swarming with people and dogs. Yes, this brewery and hotel is dog friendly. Huh, we should've guessed that from the name but you are free to bring your dog here with you. It's even encouraged as there is a dog park across from the small pond that's in the side yard of the brewery. On our way up here, we were discussing what types of beers they had on tap and figured it would be like most breweries. Boy, were we wrong. It seemed like everything was a variation of IPAs. Not being a fan of IPAs, I managed to get by on the Lost lager they had on tap. They had two others lagers on tap but I couldn't even begin to remember their name and I ended up finishing off one of them and they replaced it with the Lost lager I was connecting with. Everyone else also found that one beer they really vibed with and mostly drank those all night. Emily was hooked on their Pride beer. Doug loved their Hazy Daisy. Everyone else loved what they were drinking. Perfect, as I was worried about someone maybe not finding something they liked. We sat at a table outside and ordered food and beer all night while conversing and getting caught up on life. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken sandwich and it was super delicious, if not a bit lacking on the 'kick in the mouth' spiciness I was looking for. Regardless, it was delicious and I am sad that we only ate at the bar properly only this one time (at least that I can recall). We did smuggle in some pizza from Massey's right around the corner and ate it at one of the outdoor tables. Shhhhhhhh! As the first night wore on, we stepped up to the axe throwing trailer they had there and proceeded to not make an ass of ourselves as well as none of us getting hurt (aside from me whacking my leg with the broad side of an axe goofing around). After that, we retired to our rooms to pass out and hopefully not wake up hungover. The next few days were spent out on the town and we only hit up the bar for either our free morning mimosas, the free stout from 7p-9p (which, I was expecting the worst but it was a serious contender for my favorite beer there), or once we were done running around for the day. Saturday and Sunday were progressively less busy than the Friday in which we arrived. That was surprising as I figured the place would be swarming for the holiday weekend. BrewDog is big on being Carbon Negative and a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community. I think that is super awesome on both of those things, especially in this seemingly increasing hostile world we live in. Let's save the planet and be respectful to each other. There is a really fun photo booth over by the gift shop area that, at the time of us being there, is free to use. We may have taken a lot of liberties with that and gotten some great and not-so-great photo strips to hang up at home. Doug told us there is a beer museum or something like that on-site. When we tried to check it out, it was closed for a wedding and the winds just never blew the right way for us to try and check it out again. The only negatives I have to say about our bar experience is that the guy walking around and starting the fires for the fire pits was rude. I was leaning over the fire pit wall, talking to Emily at one point and he just lit the thing right up, without warning. Talk about dangerous. The other is that one bartender was rude to Emily and another was rude to Emily, Doug, and myself. But, we didn't let that get us down. Everyone has a bad day at work and the overall experience was amazing. I would try and tell you about the aesthetics of the place but my words wouldn't do it justice. Heck, even the few photos I'll include won't do it justice and trust me, I took a million and a half this time. Look up some professional photos or videos of the place to see how wicked cool it is. All-in-all, this was the best Memorial Day and Birthday Weekend I've ever had.

Yelp
Had the wingman. "Dangerously crushable"! That it was! Came here from drinks before walking over to Ray Rays bbq truck. Great beer on tap and great prices

Yelp
7/10/25 Awesome spot especially if you have a dog. Lady at the hotel & server/food runner were super nice. Food & beer good. Bartender was pretty miserable though.

Yelp
Stopped up to see the thrifting setup and spend a few minutes enjoying a cold beer and appetizer. We had our dog with us so had to sit out on the patio. Not a lot of shade and no fans in sight on a 90+ degree day. It was too hot for the wait staff to be outside so we had to go to the bar for everything we needed. Would likely go back but would definitely keep in mind the inconveniences due to the heat. Adding a few fans or a sun shade would make a big difference if you want to attract dog friendly folks on a summer day.

Maddie H.

Yelp
I had high hopes for this place since it's dog friendly and I wanted to bring my pups here while my husband is at a conference. When we arrive, the property is absolutely disgusting. Geese poop is everywhere and you are destined to get it on your shoes and your dogs will get it all over their paws. The dog park is not well maintained as there were dog poop piles everywhere and grass was up to your mid-calf. Next, when trying to get patio seating for us, we were treated poorly by staff. To get patio seating, you must go inside the restaurant area and request it but no dogs are allowed. So I stood in the doorway trying to get someones attention while trying to keep my dogs outside. A server came to me and told me my dogs must be outside so I told them I knew but was trying to get someones attention to get seated. They told me to wait outside so I did for 10 minutes and no one came to seat or greet us. Then I decided to go to the bar area to see if they could help me, they told me they couldn't help and told me to go back to the hostess stand so I tried to explain the situation and they told me they couldn't help and then went back to vaping, playing on their phones, and laughing. 3 team members not even willing to help. absolutely pitiful.. Still wanting to give this place a shot, I sat down at a table outside and tried calling the place 10 minutes to get ahold of someone for help while keeping my dogs outside. No one answered for 10 minutes. This is such a huge disappointment and I don't write reviews but felt like this had to be shared so others know what they are getting themselves in to. I really hope management reads this and takes action because it is so disappointing.

Yelp
On my way back to CMH, I was looking for a pub to grab a bite and beer. Found BrewDog on yelp and was amazed with the big/small atmosphere. Greeted by the shop and brewery tour, but found the bar on the other end. Got adobo wings and a brisket taco and loved both. Spent the evening with Hazy and Angry Jane(s). Hope to be back soon.

Yelp
We stayed for one night recently at the dog house, inside the brew dog brewery. We had been so excited to try this place for so long and booked the hotel right away when we knew we would be driving through the area. We booked a standard king room since these room allow dogs and we opted for the Top dog package which is $180 and includes: brewery tour for two, bathroom fridge filled with 12 beers, dinner (including one flight of beer, 1 app, two dinners, and one dessert) and 10% off all bar purchases. Also with your overnight stay all guest get: two welcome beers, stout and cookies between 7-9p, and free buffet style breakfast with one free beer mimosas. All in all was very dog friendly, the room and hotel was amazing and so much fun. There is a bunch of little thoughtful touches throughout the place that make it so much cooler. There is even free bikes hotel guest can use during there stay, a small gym and tones of games and books in the cute lobby area. Dogs are allowed in all outdoor areas, they are not allow in the main restaurant or bar area unless they are service animals. There is an additional bar area where the gift shop is that dogs are allowed, were they serve a smaller number of drinks. This is an additional game area inside the restaurant/bar area with several different game options and a claw machine with merch items. Food at the restaurant was good. The flight has large pours. There was other drinks besides beer so that was nice. We started with the crab cakes which were good, my husband got the tacos and liked these, I ordered the Mac and cheese it was good but it was more like beef stroganoff. For dessert we did the Oreo pie which was good. Unfortunately during our stay, there was multiple events that we were not aware of prior which resulted in no brewery tour, no beer museum and half of the hotel lobby being of limits for a birthday party that was steaming in from the brewery. We did receive $10 back for there being no brewery tour since for guest not doing the top dog package the brewery tour cost $5 per person that is staying at the hotel. Missing the tour was a huge bummer and we felt just a little disappointed and felt like we missed out. Overall a one of a kind experience, and a beer lovers dream.

Yelp
So rude. The bartenders just ignore you. Seriously, three of them just sat there and smirk and completely ignore repeatedly.

Yelp
Had a great time at the DogTap! I absolutely loved the vibe as it was a huge open space right next to the brewery with a bunch of fun decor plus plants. There were also a ton of seats outside with doors that will open in the cooler months! We very much enjoyed our dinner, it was on the pricey end with most meals around $20, appetizers around $12-15. Our dinner for two hit $70 plus a tip. With the big space and busy afternoon we only saw our waitress a few times, we did like that we could pay at the table but we waited probably 15 minutes to ask for a to-go box which was not ideal as we had already paid. All in all a decent trip, but I personally can't go too often due to pricing. As far as gluten free options go, our waitress informed me that they can make a bunch of stuff gluten free such as pizza or burgers (crust and buns available) but unfortunately the wings are battered so I was unable to get those (they had been recommended to me by a friend). I think there were more options but I would NOT say it is celiac safe!

Yelp
Such a great place. The beer is amazing and the food is fantastic. The service is quick and friendly. The ambiance is so cool and laid back. I hope they're doing lots of business because this is a really special place. For your doggies too!!!

Yelp
We had a group of 10 cell a graduation. We made a reservation on Saturday night. The restaurant was busy but not full. It was raining so no one was outside. We ordered appetizers for the table. Drinks were ordered an delivered. All was good. Food ordered. We opened presents. The food came. I ordered the Buffalo chicken sandwich. The first few bites were a little overcooked and dry. Almost no buffalo sauce. My grandson and grad daughter ordered pizza. One was way overcooked. Black on the bottom!should not have been brought to the table bad. We asked if he wanted to send it back he said no. My granddaughter's had very little sauce. Again she said it was fine. Near the end of the meal I noticed my son in law's sandwich was only 3/4's eaten. And he had an uneatable portion which was too dry to eat. The when it came to the bill they had same issue where they mixed my bill with another table. And took an additional 30 minutes. The beer was good but that was the only thing I can say went well.40% of the meals were sub par.

Yelp
After going to BrewDog in London during our honeymoon we were excited to try their large Columbus location near my father that is also their North American production site. The menu is similar to that of the UK but the portions are larger and the entrees come with fries. The menu is still half plant based which is more typical for the UK but rare in the US. The beer is also different here and they have a nice museum and a store. For our appetizers we ordered a Giant Soft Pretzel and Truffle Cheese Fries. Our entrees were a plant based burger special called Truffle Kerfuffle, a Clucky This Time plant-based chicken burger, and a Grazing Goat pizza with goat cheese. For dessert we had the Cookie Monster which is named after our favorite Sesame Street character. All the food was amazing but the truffle fries may not have been necessary given the burgers came with fries. We also got one flight of various ciders for my dad who does not drink beer that we finished My wife and I also shared two flights of beer ourselves. The first beers we had were three variants of Hazy Jane which rhymes with my wife's name Heidi Jane. With dessert we had the stouts which were also great. Our waiter was very friendly. Since the bar gets busy the appetizers did come out first which was a bit odd but understandable. Our waiter was not sure if they still had the Truffle Kerfuffle so was going to let us know right away if they didn't but fortunately they did have it for us. Although the place is large with plentiful seating, they are very popular and do book up so it is good to make a reservation. On Friday evening on MLK Day weekend they were all booked and most of Saturday was taken but we did find times between lunch and dinner. If you arrive later or have to wait or have time after your meal, they have a wonderful museum to check out. They also have a store where we took some beer home, some of which was alcohol free.

Yelp
Ok... it's been a minute since we went here. At least a couple of years. I remember a long wait to get seated and for the food to come. But that is par for the course this kind of restaurant... it is busy because the food and atmosphere are excellent. Board games and throwing axes with my son made the wait seem shorter and the while experience memorable... even a couple of years later.

Yelp
Came in for lunch on a Sunday. I highly recommend reservations since it was packed! I got the click Norris chicken sandwich with fries. It was delicious! Super flavorful and our service was great too. Our waiter filled up our drinks timely and catered to our every need. Great time seeing everything decorated for the holidays!!

Yelp
Interesting place! It's a restaurant, museum, brewery, and hotel. Throw in a relaxing atmosphere, open design, large patio, and awesome pinball machines. Oh, and a dog park! Overall, good service and good food. They offer vegetarian and vegan options along with beef, pork, and chicken. A varied beer selection. Seasonal cocktails. We ordered the Truffle Cheese Fries to start. Excellent flavor! For entrées, we had the Pork & Gouda Burger (great flavor), Buffalo Chicken ( a bit dry), Truffle Potato Salad, Mac N Cheese (creamy), and Bread Pudding (more like a cake). Ingredients were fresh. Definitely worth checking out. They have live music occasionally. We look forward to going back when we can enjoy the patio.

Yelp
This was a lunch stop on a road trip to Indianapolis. What a massive looking building when you pull up! Tons of parking out front in their huge lot. The inside is really open and spacious. We were seated in a booth and walked around to check out the digs. Very clean, with a nice brewing operation on the other side of the glass. Some of the features inside included: Pinball machines, shuffleboard tables, a pretty big wraparound bar and a mix of booths, tables and high top tables. I kept my beer order simple and stuck with their Punk IPA. It was fresh, hoppy, above average and of the West coast variety which is prefer. Food wise I went with wings and my kid ordered a grilled cheese. The wings describe as - crispy buttermilk chicken wings, sweet & spicy buffalo sauce with blue cheese dip. They were a nice portion, cooked properly, fresh, sauced well and tasty. My son's grilled cheese was a big portion and it held him over for the rest of the road trip. Our group stop was short, but worth it. The prices were fair, the bathroom could have used a bit of TLC, the museum was a nice touch and the Lego replica of the brewery was super cool to look at! Thank you for a nice experience Brewdog!

Yelp
Location is awesome and a definite destination type establishment. Very modern and bright and open. Food was typical pub/brewery food and was tasty. The burgers were great. We were a rather large group but service was still very good. My loss of stars was the beer selection. It is November and there were no Stouts on tap. Actually a couple of kegs blew while we were so some had to swap beers. Also if you like IPA's and/or fruity beers they had them. No stout or porter in the cold season cost you stars. Will go back when in the area.

Yelp
I'm working on the Route 33 ale trail. This was my second stop. I loved the Black Heart Irish stout. Plan to try the Chinook Smash before I leave. Also had the carnitas street tacos which were amazing.

Yelp
It was our first time here from Texas, and it was so great!! Food - 5 stars, service - 5 stars, staff were friendly and so welcoming and provided great suggestions and answers to our questions. Not pictured are the cauliflower wings with buffalo sauce and sweet potato fries (order extra crispy) that we devoured and really enjoyed with our drinks! Shout out to Seth, the manager, and Kristin, our server, who were really helpful with their suggestions, and I enjoyed talking with them! The brewery has some great arcade games and shuffle board and a lounge area in the tap room to enjoy if there were groups looking to hang out before dinner. Also, it's a cute date night option for locals! I am definitely putting this on my list to come back to if we're ever in Columbus again!

Yelp
Made the mistake of getting a reservation for my birthday ( because we had 7 total, 4 adults and 2 children, one 4 and another 1 and 1/2) on St Patricks day at 4 pm. Didn't get off to a good start, waited at Maitre D's table for 10 minutes before some greeted us. She then informed us that "oh by the way" our kitchen is being renovated, and we have a limited menu..... The one item the 4 year old had been looking forward to all weekend was their Jumbo soft pretzel, which of course was not on the limited menu. The server was nice, beer was good, kids, had a good time playing games and walking around. When the food arrived, the burgers were severely charred on the outside and undercooked on the inside, the breaded chicken sandwich was more breading than chicken. The nacho chips had way too much seasoning to eat. Not a good experience, it would have been nice to tell us about the kitchen renovation when we made the reservation 5 days prior.

Yelp
This place is amazing, food was amazing, ambience was amazing, the service was amazing. Not sure what else I could say. One of the employees went to our table, offered a tour, seeing how they do things, explains the history, and just sharing what they were about was an experience all on its own. I am visiting from Colorado and I can say that there needs to be more places like this. Cameron, thank you for taking the time to make us feel so welcomed! Highly recommended.

Yelp
Rosa at the front was super friendly and welcoming! She was able to recommend great food items on the menu. The ambiance is amazing with the museum and merchandise area to explore!

Yelp
This review is for dinner sitting at the bar while road tripping through Ohio in early September. service: Bar staff, food runners, and wait staff were all great. Very professional, very balanced. Amazing example of awesome hospitality industry. bar: I drank my go-to Brewdog choice, Punk IPA ($7.50). It's a great beer on tap. I tried the Lightspeed session, the 50 West Coffee Dipped Biscotti at a whopping 15% ABV and Nanodog Your Friends Are Gonna Love This stout. Brewdog was out of Jet Black Stout and that should be your stout choice when it's available again. food: My wife's carnitas taco ($5.95) was great. My Korean Loaded Fries ($12.45) was a whole lotta food! I'll probably go with Bang Bang Chicken next time, but the fries were pretty darned good. details: Huge surface lots, so no parking problems. Space is open, airy, and light. The garage doors were open and the patio was full. There was even axe throwing. We were staying next door at the Doghouse and highly recommend that experience. Don't miss the game room, especially the pinball machines.

Yelp
Super sad day for my household... BrewDog DogTap used to be our staple, but COVID has obviously cut this place down. We always had issues with getting a table because of how popular it is, but it has become so much worse. My wife and I started with our typical drinks and cauliflower wings. I always get the pineapple collins, but received some pineapple water this past time. It didn't have any alcohol in it and barely had any taste. Our waitress definitely forgot about us considering a table seated after us received a majority of their food before our cauliflower wings even came out. When we finally received our wings, our food followed behind. The quality of the food is disappointing. Our burgers came out well done (we ordered medium) and were extremely greasy. We always order dessert, but decided to not chance it and go somewhere else.

Yelp
Fathers Day Lunch 2022 The good: The venue is very cool with indoor and outdoor seating, dog park, pinball games, photo booth and lots of doggies. The beer selection is good and free tastings and flights of want that. Food menu is not huge but what we had was good. The not so good: our waitress was awful. I'm not sure if she was overwhelmed or just not that good. The place was not that busy considering it was Father's Day. We ordered a couple tastings and took her forever to bring them. I'm also pretty sure they were not labeled correctly. We ordered beer and food after the tastings. Waited and waited and waited. She finally came over to see how we were doing and I asked if our beers were ever coming. She got them but one keg had blown so dad picked something else. The full beer I ordered tasted and looked nothing like what she told me it was in the tasting. So that's why I think she got the tastings mixed up. Food eventually came out and it was good. I think it's a tad over priced tho. The place is super cool and love the outdoor space and fact there are games and dog park. Will come back if for nothing else to sit outside and bring dog to have a beer or two.

Yelp
Food was good. Fun atmosphere. The service or lack of service totally ruined it for us. Server was nice but not once did she come by and ask if anyone wanted another beer in the hour and a half we were there.

Yelp
Easy five stars for me. Why? Tons of on tap beer, cider, and seltzer options. Super reasonably priced (6.50 for a 6% cider!). Amazing rooftop and fun open indoor seating. Vegan food options, including gluten free vegan bbq cauliflower wings that were SO good. And super nice servers. I don't live in Columbus but if I did I'd live at this brewery. Also as a bonus: great logo.

Yelp
We went here on a Tuesday for Big Head Trivia and it was a lot of fun. The beers on tap are always delicious. I ordered a Peach Hazy Jane and the Veggie Sharing Stack for the table which came with fries, sweet potato fries, cauliflower wings, Mexican street corns, and garlic + bleu cheese dipping sauces. It was a delightful assortment to enjoy while we played trivia. The space was cool and it was bar service during trivia, so we had to go to the bar to order everything, but it was honestly no biggie. I gather there is a roof top area that I will make an effort to checkout (maybe with my min pin) in the summer time!

Yelp
The food we ordered Bacon Deluxe and the Brisket Mac and Cheese were fantastic. Our server was very nice and she made great suggestions. The ambience was fun it was Music Bingo Night (Thursday). A little pricey but it was worth it.

Yelp
Best soft pretzel I've tasted in AGES. Staff were super nice and the interior was beautiful

Yelp
Got together here with some family in Columbus and enjoyed some food, games and live music! A very social spot - I've recently tried the new Cleveland location and was looking forward to trying the jackfruit tacos again. Food is on the pricier side here but I can appreciate it - they had a note in the menu being transparent about the farms they get their meat from. Lots of Vegan/Vegetarian options!! Husband got the Beyond Meat bacon burger (he liked the double patty ) & we tried the veg sampler, it was all good, presentation made it look somewhat small though. It was a busy, bumping Saturday night in there so I'd recommend a reservation for this spot. I liked the Aunt Flo initiative in the restroom. Enjoyed the spectacle that was the giant fermenters with funky dressed up animals, the wall of kegs, and I hear there was a museum at some point, but we didn't end up checking that out because we were playing shuffleboard. A great place to engage with others! Thank you for having us.

Yelp
Brewcation in Columbus. And we are staying at Brew Dog hotel. The people and accommodations are excellent. Complementary beer at checkin. Complementary beer for the tour. Complementary stout and cookie in the evening. And lots of dogs in the hotel bar. We had dinner at the restaurant. It was good. We split an Avo and Feta salad. The Elvis dressing was a winner. We also split a Blanco pizza. They were doing a nice business on a Wednesday night.

Yelp
We did a carry-out which I am sure can make a difference in things. The macaroni and cheese was definitely the best item we tried! It was creamy and super flavorful! Definitely one of the best macs! The cauliflower was also pretty good. Light spice and mild flavors, good crunch! I just wish there were options for different flavors/sauces. The chicken was super fatty (I really struggle with fatty chicken), the flavor was good but I could not take more than a bite or two because of the texture. The chicken was definitely the biggest let down, as it was NOT cheap to get the "feast" and then get bad/fatty quality chicken. The cider was really good, light and berry-tasting (Dead and Berried). Overall, this experience was okay. It was not fantastic but not bad either. Maybe we will try it again inside and try some different food items as well.

Yelp
Such a fun place!! We came on the last day of restaurant week and got 3 courses for $25!!! Had pretzel, burger and sundae. All were delicious Hubs had truffle fries, pork sando and sundae We also had flights of beer to try them. So good!! They have games and a little museum. It's a fun place

Yelp
Made a reservation and glad we did because on the weekend it looks like you'd have a wait if you didn't. The drinks were good and were adequately priced. Burgers were well seasoned. The street corn dip was a pleasant surprise! We did try one shredded beef taco and it wasn't worth the $5+. It was on a flour tortilla and the meat was hardly existent. May be a better value if you go on taco Tuesday. You can take a tour of the distillery which was very unexpected! I was worried about bringing my teen, but I saw a lot of families with even younger kids. The pin ball machines were a lot of fun as well. I'd come back, but I'd stay away from the tacos.

Yelp
I dig it. It's a drive to visit. The beer is good. The nano dog brews are usually really good. The food is okay. Like, their burgers feel like they bought them in bulk, because they spent all their money on aioli and homemade pickles. Basically, I'm not coming here for their burgers. Their jazzed up fries are tasty, though. And they got rid of their haggis egg roll - which, after having it, is something you absolutely will not miss. I'll try any food once, and that was one bite and a "no mas, por favor" from me. They host craft fairs, which is cool, but I wish they had a little less high end pottery and more variety. Maybe that's not on them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Their "stock ownership" is just a beer club, just a way to get you to keep coming back, but if you love their beer, I won't judge you (I mean, I have mugs at a few places, and a membership at another brewery - so stop acting like you are selling actual shares). Their events seem cool, but I feel like it's not enough to justify the drive. But overall - it's a cool concept, they do cool things, it's just not enough to keep me driving out all the time. I still plan on going to the hotel at some point!
