"Opened August 27, 2018 and marketed as the world’s first crowd-funded beer hotel, this 32-room, beer-infused property in Columbus, Ohio sits on the site of an on-site sour-beer brewing facility and overlooks large oak foeders used for beer aging. Guests receive complimentary welcome pints at check-in, and rooms feature in-room taps pouring seasonal beers from the adjacent brewery, built-in beer fridges, and showers stocked with locally made craft-beer soaps. The hotel offers an immersive beer-focused program that includes an interactive craft-beer museum, brewery walk-throughs with special tastings, beer-pairing menus for every meal (including breakfast), and playful on-site activities such as beer pong; spa treatments are similarly beer-themed, with options like a hop face mask and a malted-barley massage.
