"In an ever-growing beer scene, locals have embraced the Scottish brewery as their own, welcoming three outposts to Columbus. The Franklinton location — with its proximity to Downtown, bevy of patio seating, and rooftop bar with fantastic views of the city skyline — is what’s hot and new. Sure there’s solid pub food here, but locals come thirsty for a 24-tap beer list heavy on Brewdog IPAs and guest taps, including some notable craft pours from around the United States." - Beth Stallings

Had a very relaxing late Sunday afternoon watching the Masters at BrewDog. We brought both our kids and felt like they were very welcomed. My wife loves their Cauliflower "wings" and I had a great burger. Hazy Jane is my favorite local Hazy IPA but the Elvis Juice was on special so my choice was made for me, love their beer!

Went on a Wednesday night and food took at least 45 minutes. Wasn't busy then at all. Also amount of fries was for a child size. Maybe 20 pieces for the high cost? Seriously needs to invest in much better parking area.

Lacy was our waitress and she was amazing. The recommendations she gave was right on. I highly recommend this place. We had the wings and for a breaded wing they were the best I have had. The adobo sauce was great. My wife had the burger and she raved about it. We had our dog with us and a storm came in and they were very accommodating. Truly one of the best places.

I went here this Evening for wing Wednesday it was my first time as soon as I walked in my server was the one who greeted me and set me right away I wish I remembered her name, but I sat in the last booth to the right as soon as you walk in she was very accommodating and she did amazing and gave me the whole breakdown about the unlimited wings. It was $15 for all you can eat wings and they were delicious 10 out of 10 for service and food.

Google
Great food, nice vibe. We got there around 11:15am on a Saturday and sat on the upper deck. Quiet and chill until the live music started around 12, then a little louder but could still talk. Able to sample drinks before deciding. Great apple cider!

Our waitress was wonderful. We had such a great time. The pretzel was huge and came with mustard and cheese sauce. If you aren’t familiar with their beer I suggest you get a flight. You will find your favorite that way. They also have delicious cocktails too. There’s a nice outdoor patio and it’s dog friendly too.

Everything was very hot & fresh 10/10 Will be back very often. Love the cocktails & IPAs. Cheese cake was amazing. Wing Wednesday is 🔥

This was a great experience for my retirement gathering. Brewdog’s staff communication prior to the event was excellent. They were very accommodating to special requests to make the event unique. The atmosphere was perfect. Staff are wonderful. Thank you.

Yelp
Fortieth Birthday Party Ruined!!! We were asked to leave the Franklinton location 10 minutes before our reservation supposedly ended. We were having a great time and spending lots of money. If the reservation was done wrong we should have been told about this when we got there. We were not. We also did not have a server for our party room area. So we had to do all orders at the bar. The bar staff was extremely rude and actually made us feel unwelcome every time we ordered drinks and food. Not to mention we all had to pay bills separately and 20% gratuity was included . Why did we need to pay for gratuity when we didn't have a server. The bar was half full and asked paying customers to leave half way through the Buckeyes game and 40th birthday party! The manager also threatened to call the Columbus Police if we didn't leave. I have never been treated so poorly! Extremely disappointed with the evening and Brewdog. Shout out to Land Grant Brewery for hearing our story and welcoming us to their fine establishment!!

Yelp
Went for lunch on Sunday with a few friends. Everything was so nicely decorated for the holidays. I got a side of fries (it was huge) and two cauliflower tacos. Everything was delicious! Our server was very attentive as well.

Aubrie H.

Yelp
They are decorated for the holidays which made for a cozy vibe inside. They also have holiday beers on the menu. We tried a couple but would like to come back and try more. The food was absolutely delicious! We decided on the fast joe with fries and the BLT with macaroni and cheese. The blt was the star by far, so many good flavors.

Tatianna S.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday for bottomless mimosas and had a great time! The place is decorated very cute for Christmas. There's also a ton of space so it was perfect for a group. I ordered the pretzel for us to share. It was alright. I enjoyed the sauces, but the pretzel wasn't very warm :( I then ordered the brisket brunch tacos which were great! Super messy and hard to eat but that's a given. Our server was awesome and let us take our time. There are few bottomless mimosa places in cbus, so this will definitely become a staple for game days.

Jaclyn C.

Yelp
Fantastic service and cool aesthetic. Food was just meh though. The pretzel was really good, soft and the beer cheese is delicious. The cauliflower wings were a bit too breaded imo. Made them crunchy and a little unappealing. The burger was really good but the regular fries were a bit bland.

Takell L.

Yelp
$15 all you can eat wings on Wednesday! The wings are larger than most wings but they are some of the best wings I've tried in Columbus! I got my wings fried hard & they were very crispy wings. The honey Abodo wings were my favorite! I believe the first round of wings came out with 10 & 5 wings every round afterwards. There's outside seating & the staff were very friendly! I would highly recommend trying the wings !!

Yelp
Visited 23 JUL 2024 This was our first dining opportunity in Columbus. In town to visit family. This location was near the son in laws workplace. It is an area that is being "re-vitalized". I couldn't help but compare it to parts of Baltimore, MD that seem to be eternally going through that process. There are freshly spruced up old brick/concrete buildings side by side with run down stuff that no one has gotten to yet. I wish them luck and hope they can pull it off. This is a beer hall. In the middle of the afternoon with a skeleton crew and very few patrons it wasn't the best foot forward. We are told that it gets rolling pretty well on nights and weekends. The food is very basic bar food offerings. It wasn't memorably good or bad. I just looked up the menu to try and remember. I got a Fast Joe burger and my wife got grilled cheese with caramelized onion. Both of our sandwiches were pretty standard, nothing wrong, but like I said not memorably good either. I would imagine its all quite good with a few strong small batch beers in your belly.

Jessica Y.

Yelp
Stopped in for a snack on a warm Saturday shortly after opening. Staff was great and we were well attended. We only got the pretzel for food and it was good but adding the charcuterie was way overpriced. I would not order that part again. Definitely not worth it. I had a beer and the offered a taste but it turned out the one I wanted was not available so I ended up with a different one. Not overly a bad thing but it was the start of the day they should have known it was out if it were the middle of a dinner shift I'd understood more. I'd go back and try other food items for sure but it isn't a must rush back to place for me.

Libby G.

Yelp
Staff was super friendly and very responsive. Food was great They had a fun music bingo game happening

Yelp
Great staff and good beer Only issue is the place is dirty! Menu are dirty tables are sticky

Yelp
I've been to BrewDog Franklinton a few times now and it is my second favorite of the BrewDogs in Columbus behind the Canal one. It is a very cute setup and perfect for the summer. We arrived on a Saturday night around 9 pm and it was pretty dead. They have fire areas setup that are gas so you don't have to smell like fire but still can be warm both downstairs and on their second floor rooftop. BrewDog food is definitely something to try. I haven't had anything that wasn't amazing. I didn't get any food during this visit however. We went to the second floor with a group of maybe 10 and noticed the fire was off, right away the staff offered to turn it on for us and get us anything we needed. I am not a huge beer person but their seltzers are fantastic. Definitely try in your next visit to Franklinton. You won't be sorry.

Christina M.

Yelp
There's a lot to love and a bit to be desired here. The outdoor rooftop, open, airy seating by the windows, and location are all great. You can also bring your dog! You can rent out the rooftop, or, if it's not rented out, you can order and hangout up there. The food and service are mediocre. There's a ton of local beer options. They often close the kitchen early, so if you want late night food, this isn't the place.

Yelp
I'm not sure if I should really count Brewdog Franklinton as my 247th brewery because in 2019 I visited Brewdog in Ellon, Scotland. I'm going to count it though because this is my list, my review, and I don't have to justify it to anyone! (Well, except myself...) Brewdog has a smallish area outside with tables but lots of room inside, and just after I sat down at the bar they rolled up the doors to bring outside inside. Or maybe they let inside out? So I guess they let the dogs out...mystery solved. They also have a large looking rooftop seating area which I didn't visit. I didn't go with a flight since this is my second brewery before checking into my hotel but saw their Jet Black Heart milk stout on nitro and knew I needed it in my life. So I sipped the lovely dark nectar and watched folks come and go. Not a bad way to spend a bit of time. Brewdog has very good beers. Great atmosphere and although I can't speak to the food, the milk stout was manna from heaven. My only complaint is that it was the only dark beer Brewdog is a great stop and I always love an area where there are a couple of breweries nearby. BTW, Yelp should really allow gifs to be posted in reviews. I put together a nice little gif of my disappearing stout and then was unable to post it. At least it entertained me. If anyone is a glutton for punishment, please, follow my brewery, and distillery, reviews from across the U.S. and beyond! https://www.yelp.com/collection/-8iscFkpiiCI563-FDfwGg and if anyone is wondering who SWPFTD is you will have to check out my review of Black Market Brewing Co in Temecula, CA to understand. Yes, you will need to read into it a little to get the joke but I have confidence in you!

Yelp
Jusssst --- What happened on my recent visit to BrewDog? I'd been several times before, but this last experience was my last. It was the last day of winter restaurant week, and while I have deep compassion for overworked/understaffed service, it didn't actually seem that busy? 3 tabs for our party, each experienced literally half an hour between food arrival. Beer line was slow, and the few people standing in line looking at themselves all seemed confused as to the disorder happening behind the counter. Namely, it did not seem busy, not feel chaotic, yet everything was moving at a bewilderingly slow pace. Anyhow, the food was just fine! I enjoyed my bbq wings and burger, fries were fries and I was happy to eat them all. Beers were tasty, but selection seemed slim that night, and honestly, once you get over Elvis Juice there isn't much allure to the beer menu at BrewDog. General ambiance at BrewDog Franklinton is very open, kind of dark, and to me always feels a little sticky. Truth be told, the Franklinton Arts District is enjoyed primarily by kids who want to be Banksy and nameless shuffling droves who want to see what the hubbub in this quickly gentrifying neighborhood is all about. It's not cute. Anyway, good luck!

Rachel E.

Yelp
Nice brewery with decent beer selections. Desserts are very tasty, their Pretzel, Strawberry Cheesecake with Crème Brûlée and Chocolate cake are a MUST TRY!!! I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere on a Sunday night, good food and good costumer service.

Andrew G.

Yelp
We ordered wings and they all came out raw/undercooked. The kitchen took them back but nobody actually came up to us to apologize or explain, or to offer anything else. They did take the price of the wings off and the drinks were good.

Kalah Rae F.

Yelp
Everyone loves a good BrewDog moment. This location in Franklinton is the best one that I have been to. They offer a great selection of beers, cocktails, and an inspired take on bar food. I've tried several things on the menu, but the best has to be the famous cauliflower wings! They are crispy, well-sauced, and pretty much always hit the spot. They offer a combo dish that's something like 2lbs of cauliflower and 2 sides, which is what I got on my last visit to share with a friend. We didn't quite finish everything but we were totally satisfied with the portions. The sweet potato fries are not to be missed! Another great element of this location is the extensive patio-- a downstairs area with tables, as well as a covered rooftop terrace with a full bar and lots more tables. This is a great spot to meet friends if you aren't sure where to go and everyone is looking for a tasty bite and solid drink. It's conveniently located near lots of downtown activities and it's close to the downtown stadiums, too. Parking can be a pain on a busy night, so I recommend taking an Uber or carpooling whenever possible.

Gary B.

Yelp
Great Beer, good food, I had an Elvis Juice and one of the staff choice. I had the impossible burger and fries

Elizabeth Y.

Yelp
Popped in here Saturday night with my girl friends for a quick drink. They had a good variety of beer to pick from and the option to get a cocktail if you're in the mood. They had a good mix of high energy but the ability to get a table and chill. The bartenders were very nice and on top of things. We will be back!

Kyle B.

Yelp
I hate to write bad reviews but we had a pretty terrible experience at BrewDog. We had family coming in from out of town so we had them meet us at BrewDog on Friday night. We'd been there a few times before, and had positive experiences so we thought it was a good option. The service was flat out terrible. Our server took our drink orders and it was a solid 20 minutes before the drinks appeared. We quickly ordered food and then never saw a server for 40 minutes. The food was bland, and just not up to the level we have had there previously. Appetizers never came. We were a party of 6 and it was a solid hour before the food came, and orders were missing. Our primary server was doing a disappearing act and we finally had to say something to a manager. He was extremely apologetic, and comped the meal. I appreciated his candor but overall it was just a really bad time. It's always tough when you recommend a place, and it doesn't live up to the standard.

Jeff A.

Yelp
TBH, I buy a lot of BrewDog in the store. However, the Franklinton location doesn't know how to run a restaurant. We went here on a Friday afternoon to get the kids Hoppy Menu. We were greeted with "anyone wanna take care of this" and "we only do bar service". We figured it out and ordered at the bar. Most of the food came at the same time. We sent the waiter/Bartender back twice. We ordered The Plant Stack. Instead of bringing Onion Rings (which they didn't say they were out of), they gave us extra (spicy) pickles! After asking about it, the waiter only offered more French fries. My wife just wanted a few onion rings, which was the leading part of the plant stack! I should have told them to take the whole thing back. The Kid's Meal ends with a frozen lollipop thing. After asking for that, they finally conceded that they only had ice cream. That took another 15 minutes. This place may show up as kid friendly on Yelp, but it isn't. Three families with kids around us were all confused. Do not take your family here unless the only thing you want to do is drink and not think about them.

Jenny Z.

Yelp
Strange experience here tonight. Came in around 9 pm on a Thursday when the kitchen was still an hour out from closing and the bar was 2 hours from closing, and the whole place seemed like it was closing. No paper towels in bathroom, booths all had the condiment/cutlery holders packed up and moved to the front of each booth, staff seemed really unprofessional and un-attentive. Food was overcooked, especially fries and chicken sandwich. Cauliflower wings were mushy. Brussels tasted microwaved. Also didn't get an itemized bill which is weird. Total seemed a little high but who would know ($70 for 2 beers, chicken sandwich, cauliflower wings, regular wings, brussels side). Bummer bc the London UK and New Albany (Ohio) experiences were really good, including food and beer. This was our first time in the Franklinton one (closest one to our house) and it was disappointing. Hazy Jane on draft was good though of course.

Anthony G.

Yelp
Being generous with the four stars, as I think this would be a 3.5 stars. That does not exist on Yelp, though. Three of my coworkers and I met up in the Franklinton area of Columbus. We were all going to a conference and after driving from Van Wert/Delphos to Columbus, we were starving. We also had worked the entire day before driving up so we were also tired and stressed. We all definitely needed some drinks. We decided randomly to try BrewDog. We sat down on a table and just waited. We had no idea we were supposed to go to the bar to order. We all ordered some drinks and food. I ordered some buffalo wings and fries. I asked the bar tender what non-IPA he would recommend. When i also advised him, I like Ciders, he recommended the Slim Tropical Cider. I took his recommendation. It was then I discovered the place had a rooftop. We all went up there and sat down. That was when I drank some of my cider... foul! One of the worst I've ever had. Spent the rest of the night slowly drinking it, as I refused to try anything else. The food came out. The fries were perfect.l as they were hot, crunchy, salty and savory. The wings were juicy and well done but the sauce lacked heat and the flavor was a bit off. The ambience of the place is what was best about it. Loved the rooftop part of the bar... feeling the breeze as I hung out and got to know some of my coworkers outside of the office environment. We swapped stories, jokes and had a great time. Still, if I ask for a beer/cider recommendation, i expect something decent.

Tara R.

Yelp
While in Columbus my husband and I stopped in here for a couple beers and an appetizer. We didn't go super crazy since the following day we were staying a night at the BrewDog Hotel. This place gave us the opportunity to try a couple beers and have one of the appetizer sampler platters which was good. The bartenders were friendly and provided great service even though we were there at a busy time. They have a cool multi-level location.

Sam H.

Yelp
Come on Brew Dog... what has happened ? Used to be great place to sit in sun on roof. Last few visits have been frustrating/disappointing.... Today was last straw.. Hoping for a nice day enjoying sun on rooftop with few beers & early dinner. 1/3 beers didn't have (their own beers not visiting).mainly had heavy (stout, posters) sours or high alcohol %s . Not what we wanted for Sunday afternoon, Then tried to order food & 2 out of 3 things we wanted were " out of". We left again with bad experience. When tried to order the staff were arguing with each other and paid no attention to us& others wanting to order. Get it together BD or you are going to loose all you customers.

Austin R.

Yelp
The beer is good, the food is good too. Expect a decent experience. I got the brisket macaroni dish and it was just macaroni and bread... there was no visible brisket. I made a comment about it and the waitress laughed and said "haha yeah!" Then walked away. She barely ever came to check on us. Another server/bartender had to close us, our original waitress was MIA. Otherwise, the beer is good but if you're a snob you'd best visit an actual brewery. I think most of what Brewdog has is formulated to be passable (which takes skill) but it's not the best in Columbus by far. It's a good stopping point if you like corporatesque restaurant breweries.

Maddie W.

Yelp
Visited the Canal Winchester location to celebrate my birthday. The worst dining experience I have ever had. The food was excellent and the drinks were alright but the staff and service were terrible. We started off with one waitress who gave off the vibe that we were an absolute burden to her. It took forever for her to even arrive at our table to take our drink orders. At this point I thought to myself "Hey maybe they're busy or understaffed. No biggie." The part where this opinion changed was that my mother was disrespected. My mother planned the whole dinner for me as a celebration and was so excited to challenge the waitress to rock paper scissors for a chance to win a free dessert. For those that do not know, this is something Brewdog does for fun and is actually written on the menu. Well when my mother brought it up to the waitress, the waitress responded "Right now? Why would you do that right now?" with a bunch of attitude and it kind of ruined the whole evening. She made the whole thing about herself instead of just doing her job and encouraging the customer to enjoy themselves and the fun things their restaurant offers. Food orders took forever but the food was excellent. We were barely checked on and when we were it was by a different staff member each time. Every single one looked miserable and treated us like a burden. At the end of our meal our first waitress must have noticed how displeased we were because she offered us about 5 plates of free food with the excuse that our table is just far from her other tables. My meal was paid for by my family as a "happy birthday" but if I was paying, I would not have tipped and this is a big deal as I always leave a 20% minimum tip. My dad even joked you could not get drunk there if you tried because the service was so slow. I was only able to have 1 beverage and we were there for around 2 and a half hours. I have been to other Brewdog locations and have been treated excellent so I don't know what this location's or staff's issue is. Will not be going back to the Canal Winchester location if I can help it.

Greg G.

Yelp
This place is filthy. You can't even pick up a menu without it being sticky. Your arms stick to the table. The one in Canal is so much better. We will go to Land Grant instead. They don't have table service. You have to go to the bar to order anything.

Conner K.

Yelp
I take back what I said on my previous review of this joint. Although the wings could use some work, the burgers and fries are satisfying. My opinions on the service and ambience have not changed as the old saying goes 'if it ain't broke don't fix it'

Melvin H.

Yelp
I've only been to this location and I must say their beer is phenomenal and their food is the same. When my friend and I went she got the wings and I got the buffalo chicer sandwich; both were hot and served rather quickly since it wasn't a super busy evening. The bathrooms were clean and the ambiance was quite nice. Only reason I took off a star was I feel like Brewdog overall was a bit pricey when comparing it to other breweries close by. We spend about $100 for a flight food and 1 addition beer each... not horrible but not cheap by any means.

Alaina R.

Yelp
Myself and 3 others came here later on a Friday for dinner and it was excellent! We had been bopping around Franklinton grabbing drinks and definitely needed some food and BrewDog did not disappoint. 3 out of the 4 of us got the Fast Joe burger and it was great. The other got the chicken tacos and I know she was very happy with her choice. The food was great, as were the service and beers. Do not overlook BrewDog for your next dinner out!

Syreeta B.

Yelp
Me and my family went in to Brew Dogs for lunch. We were told to sit anywhere we liked. We picked a booth and the greeter came and gave us water and told us a server would be with us. There wasn't a lot of people there but it took 15 min for the server to acknowledge us. The menus were sticky and dirty literally had food stains all over them. They have the silverware in a beer can with the top cut off that just sits at the table which I thought was disgusting so we asked for plastic utensils. The food came out and was warm but not hot. They made my sisters food 3 times and messed it up each time so she no longer wanted any food and was told she had to pay for it anyway. After speaking to a manager she also told us that she would still have to pay for the food that they messed up and she never took one bite out of the food. The manager is rude and the server was inexperienced and the cook clearly can't follow simple directions. I would never step foot in there again.

Ashley W.

Yelp
Oh Hazy Jane, Oh Hazy Jane, I can't go on without you. Those Scottish guys know what they are doing to make me a loyalist to their brand and the beer of course! I have been oh so lucky to live near BrewDog in Short North and BrewDog Franklinton. Hazy Jane all day everyday! The spaces are huge! And since they brew most of their brand here in Ohio there's not a lot of room for error and crazy transportation of the beer. Some people say they aren't local but I digress, they're local enough for me to spend my money on a good Brew. But the real fun comes when the AGM happens and I'm going again this year. They have your heavy alcoholic Brews and some non-alcoholic Brews so Designated Drivers rejoice. They will not leave you out of the fun. We came to the restaurant with my friends from Pittsburgh had to see what the fuss was about and they were thoroughly impressed. I end up getting a hot pretzel with beer cheese and mustard while my friends got burgers and salad. The atmosphere was good and people could watch the game while they ate their meals. Five stars for the brand and for Hazy Jane! You can tell my favorite right?!

Sherry L.

Yelp
I was in Columbus for a business trip and came here for a group dinner. BrewDog is a hipster brewery/bar. We got cauliflower wings and hot wings to share. The cauliflower wings were amazing, much better than the real wings. Definitely get that. I had the BBQ burger. It was a decent burger. But was kind of soggy because of the BBQ sauce.

Leon D.

Yelp
Very chill spacious place that serves great food and lots of beer choices which currently is mostly IPA's and sours. My wife was very happy about the sour beer selection. The vegetarian sweet potato burger was amazing and the cauliflower buffalo wings tasted like the real thing... and I'm not a vegetarian! I love how this place has an outdoor upper deck area to hang out and watch the sunset. We were easily able to get to this location via scooters from downtown. The only gripe we had was it can get a little busy and our server one time forgot my beer, gave me blue cheese instead of ranch, the street corn was extremely salty and we got the regular fries when we ordered sweet potato fries but she corrected it and let us keep the regular fries which made up for it. All in all we had a great time here with the beautiful modern chill vibe, tasty food and friendly service!

Melanie S.

Yelp
BrewDog Franklinton is a pretty cool place to hang out with friends for dinner and a drink. The rooftop patio is great for summer. They take reservations for the patio and it does fill up, so if you want a table up there, especially for a group, make sure to give them a call! BrewDog has a pretty solid vegetarian snack and dinner menu, which I really appreciate! Cauliflower wings, street corn, black bean tacos, fries, and not one, not two, but 3 different burger options! I made my own dinner from the black bean tacos, street corn, and fries. This is not exactly a "neat" dinner, but it was really good and there were plenty of napkins, so I was pleased. The corn is charred on the cob and has lots of cheese and mayo (I took some off) with great flavor. The tacos had 2 shells, and good filling. I also really appreciated that they have decent non-alcoholic options. Nice quality bottled lemonade and iced tea, and I also saw some Simple Times mixers in the bar fridge, so I'm sure they could do something fun with those for ya! I always really appreciate an option for the DD or anybody else who just isn't in the mood for a high octane beverage for any reason. There was also some non-alcoholic beer on the menu. They have a couple dozen beers on tap, and some in the can as well, so there is likely something for just about everybody. I didn't see a cocktail menu for this location, and while I didn't see a list, my friend had a glass of wine. They have an itty bitty parking lot out back, plus street parking and relatively easy access to a public garage that I don't remember having to pay for. As a bonus, we had a great seat for the fireworks at Crew Stadium this past weekend!

Clare C.

Yelp
I had never eaten here before but I really enjoyed the food! Everything about my sandwich was great! The bread, the sandwich, the kale and caramelized onion toppings, and the sauce. There was a filling amount of food with the meal and the beer was good. Gluten free options for my friend were available as well. Parking was a little hard to find, we had to walk a little.

Amy S.

Yelp
Met up with my sister for lunch here on her recommendation when I was in Columbus for the day. At first we thought they were closed, as the regular entrance doors were locked, but the giant garage door/walls were open so we walked on in. They have a typical pub menu of burgers and wings, but they also offer some healthier options and vegetarian fare. I got the Buffalo Chicken Fries, and they were delicious. I was served lightly crispy fries topped with chunks of tender chicken in a buffalo sauce (no heat but good flavor) and drizzled with a blue cheese sauce... yum! Unfortunately, being the middle of a work day, we didn't get to sample any beers. I ordered an iced tea (It's served in a bottle.) and I also appreciated the carafe of water that was served to the table. Our server was very friendly and checked on us several times. I'd recommend checking this place out!

Yelp
Rented out a table on a busy Saturday for my husbands birthday and we had a great time! The table was ready when we got there and since there was no one at the hostess desk when we got there we just sat down since we saw our name. Unfortunately there were old drinks and trash from a standing group that had been using our table before we got there but otherwise the service was great so I'm hesitant to complain too much. We were in one of the booths by the restrooms which was roomy enough for 6 of us. You do have to go to the bar to order as you won't get a server at these but if you order food they do still bring it to you. The giant pretzel and the buffalo fries were both big hits among our table! We'll be back!!

Yelp
Finally got the opportunity to eat here-- score! One of the best meals I've had in Columbus in a while. To begin, this location is beautiful. I'd been before for drinks with friends but never for food. They have an open upstairs patio with a bar, and a lower patio with fire pits. It's a huge place. We sat inside because its SOMEHOW STILL WINTER IN APRIL. Sigh. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. I ordered the Fast Joe burger. Phenomenal. Juicy and tender and so gosh darn good. It came with fries that were also really amazing. Very crispy and not over-seasoned. Other people I was with got the chicken sandwich, which they loved, and the wings. Its a HUGE plate of wings. Definitely worth the price. Someone also got a milkshake -- beautiful presentation and apparently delicious. Aside from food this is obviously a brewery so they have a ton of their own stuff on tap as well as some guest brews. I look forward to eating here again! Cannot recommend that burger enough.

Yelp
We picked Brew Dog as a meet up place at about 4pm on a Monday. Chosen especially because they are dog friendly. Very nice place. Patio was clean, large picnic tables but needed larger umbrellas for shade. Service was just so-so for as empty as the restaurant was at that time. Pretty warm outside and water and ice seemed to be a scarce commodity. One lukewarm pitcher and cups brought, but no ice. Beer was tasty, but not very cold from the start, a cold glass would have done wonders. Food was ok. Hubby liked his wings. Grandson's chicken sandwich looked good and was big enough to share. Brussel sprouts were rather tough. All in all, with all the choices in the area, I don't think we will be back.

Yelp
Very good craft brewery near Columbus, Ohio. I went in for tasters and a snack to relax in the afternoon. The customer service was great and the bartender paid good attention to us. In lieu of refills, paying customers receive a carafe of water. Beer selection is very good, but I have trouble finding one particular drink in UnTapped. The street corn was a good item with lots of sauce and right texture for crunch. I may return if I am in Columbus. As others mentioned, there is limited parking and Lyft/Uber may be a better option to go there.

Yelp
BrewDog was a BLAST! I absolutely loved my experience here, even for a weekday night. First of all, the entire place has great vibes. The servers are extremely friendly & outgoing, and you'll feel right at home. However, that ROOFTOP though! If you go to BrewDog Franklinton, you need to hit up that rooftop, it is immaculate. The views of Cbus, the fireplace, the outdoor dining & bar... 10/10 experience. As for the drinks, you already know how good their beer is! On this particular day, we shared a bottle of red (which was equally good). The tacos though... AMAZING. They may be small, but the flavor is mighty! I tried the fish an brisket tacos, and I would definitely order them again! Also, their fries are heavenly. I forgot to capture a pic, but you should try them if you get the chance!

Yelp
My friends and I had a great time on the rooftop of BrewDog! They are doing such a great job maintains COVID precautions, and they're not afraid to make sure that guests are wearing their masks anytime they're up from their table. I appreciated that so much and it made me feel very comfortable while there. The food was all delicious! My burger came out with the wrong kind of cheese, but they were happy to fix that for me. My friend ordered the chicken and waffles, which was spicy but good! Their fries were excellent and they had delicious aioli for dipping. The atmosphere here was super fun, and the view from the rooftop was awesome!

Yelp
Brewdog in Franklinton has the same great beer selection as the short north but with a much larger space.

Yelp
I had been meaning to try this brewery for quite some time ever since I saw one of the owners at a talk at OSU about social enterprises. It was busy, but there were lots of open spots to lounge upstairs. It was cute! It looked like a cool patio at your friend's house. We sat on these bean bag type chairs which were pretty comfortable. A friend of mine told me that a lot of the drinks are IPAs. Not my thing. One of the friends I was with told me she likes stouts and suggested I order Jet Black Heart. Yum! I loved it! Glad I ordered it because I didn't like anyone else's drinks. I'm not a beer drinker anymore so it doesn't excite me much. A few friends did order Oktoberfest, which I did like although not as good as the one I had. You can bring your dog here. Our friend did and her dog enjoyed meeting other customers and the dog bowl which they filled with water. Service was great. They were nice and smiled a bit more than I would have thought. Even though it was busy, they weren't entirely slammed. There's a bar on each floor though. You can also play Jenga, that block game where you take out the blocks from the bottom without the tower falling over. They serve food here, but the reviews dissuaded me from even trying anything. Otherwise, great hangout place! I'd love to come back again!

Yelp
I visit Columbus maybe once a year to see family, and I've learned over the last few years, that Columbus' food game, holds it own! They can keep up with New York, for sure! The restaurants that were recommended to me, have ALL been great, including BrewDog Franklinton! I was excited to arrive to find their outdoor dining (I went here in June). They have a great outdoor space and upper deck. Some bars/restaurants I go to, I can almost sense if they make good drinks, or not. I totally got that vibe from BrewDog, upon arrival. I ordered a Manhattan, that was done very well. It was smooth and strong, all at once! You taste the experience of the bartender/mixologist with cocktails like a Manhattan. It was impressive. As for the food! The food was great! I ordered the nacho fries, which were super cheesy, crispy and perfectly salty. These fries was good! The flavors that were built here, really gave me nacho vibes. I also ordered the hot wings, which were crispy and nicely spicy! Good hot wings, even in NY at times, are hard to come by. I was very impressed by these wings. Lastly, I ordered the fish tacos! Some of the best fish tacos I've eaten, and that included some of New York's fish tacos. The fish was crispy and well-salted! They were super fresh, and you taste that! BrewDog is impressive! I will be going again, during my next Columbus visit! I recommend them for sure!

Yelp
OK so I have to admit...I really am turned off by any type of "brewery" because I picture a place with a limited selection of craft beers, no food, loud noise and too many people. There are also so many breweries popping up around Columbus lately that I've had to ask myself if it's become trendy to just start your own brewery? Is it a fad? I also prefer wine over beer, so when my friend wanted us to go to BrewDog for Happy Hour one night, I was skeptical. However, I ended up really liking it!! It's got more of a restaurant vibe with lots of seating options (a regular bar, communal high top tables, spacious booths). We opted for a booth which was perfect for the four of us. It could easily sit six. I also heard awesome things about the rooftop, but never made it up there that night due to an event they were holding up there. However, it also poured that night, so the people from the rooftop swiftly made their way downstairs. Unlike what I anticipated, this place has a ton of beer options. I had a tough time deciding what I wanted, but opted for the Clockwork tangerine. A fruity IPA which was right up my alley! I was also very pleased that they had food options as well. Their happy hour food menu is pretty limited, but I was pleased to see a burger and fries (my fave meal!) included for only $8! I was sold! One of my friends got the hummus and another got the cauliflower wings. My burger and fries were okay. The burger essentially is two thinner patties and I thought it was weird that one patty was really pink in the middle and the other one wasn't. So overall, average meal, but for $8, I was okay with it. The big winner was the cauliflower wings that my friend shared with us. YUM! They tasted so good and I loved the buffalo sauce they use! Couldn't even tell the difference between those and normal boneless wings. I highly recommend getting those! As for the beer, I enjoyed it and was pleased that they had multiple draft sizes available. When I finished my 16 oz, I asked if I could have another, but half the size and they offered up a 8oz, which was the perfect sized follow up! Service was kinda blah. I felt like our waitress didn't love her job and wasn't the most personable. And when we were done, I kinda got a vibe, she wanted us out of there. So there is work to be done on the staff here. All in all, I shouldn't have stuck my nose up at this place, because I did end up enjoying it. The ambiance is great. Not loud at all (on a Wednesday evening), the food options were good, lots of drink options and great decor/interior. I recommend this place and definitely would go back!

Yelp
The beer and food was ok. The burger was over cooked and part of my pretzel was hard so I didn't get to eat all of it :( The fries were good! I'm pretty sure I got overcharged for everything I got, but when I got the receipt I did not get the prices for everything I bought, just the total. I even asked the bartender to make sure I am getting happy hour prices. The place has a very good environment and I was able to enjoy the weather with outside seating. Wish I would've noticed I got overcharged before walking out. Especially since the food was mediocre.
