Food Brands Celebrate International Women’s Day in All the Wrong Ways | Eater

"The UK‑based craft‑beer company temporarily renamed a popular offering from 'Punk IPA' to 'Pink IPA' and labeled it a 'Beer for Girls' in what the company called a tongue‑in‑cheek jab at bad marketing; the repositioning provoked swift online backlash and required an explicit '#sarcasm' clarification, suggesting the intended joke failed to stand on its own." - Erin DeJesus

I don’t know what to compliment first so I’ll start with the atmosphere. The building was nice and clean and very aesthetic pleasing. They have fun retro pinball machines, board games and alongside some table games. The location is very cozy and comfortable. When I was there, there was plenty of parking, but I cannot say the same when it’s busy. The food here is amazing, from the pictures I added, you can see that the truffle fries with brisket look delicious alongside fried wing of Korean barbecue sauce. The presentation was great and the flavors were even better. However, what made this place a very special was the service. As soon as I walked in, Sarah welcome me in with a big smile. Danie my server was also very friendly and gave me the right recommendations of what to order. Without her I never would’ve ordered the truffle fries with brisket. She knows good food. Both Sarah and Danie walked around and checked up on, not only me but all the customers. They also have this rock paper scissors game where if you win you get a free dessert ( I lost to Danie but I blame the alcohol). As a resident of Illinois, I envy those who live in Ohio Columbus. If you haven’t been here, what are you waiting for? I can’t wait to see their new menu on Monday and I hope both Sarah and Danie are treated well at Brewdogs as how they treated me. Also, do not skip out on that cheesecake crème brûlée, these people know what they’re doing.

What a great experience! The food was delicious and the service fantastic. Tacos were difficult to consume as the size but i wouldn’t change a thing. Pretzel cheese and dip were some if the best we’ve had. Even the non alcoholic beer was wonderful. Flavors were amazing.

We were planning a trip to the Brewdog Hotel after a day in Columbus, and stumbled upon the New Albany location by accident. The venue is great. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and pet friendly. Our server was Kayan, and she was phenomenal. Her and her partner Ricky took great care of a busy patio. The food and drinks were top notch. We started with Cauliflower Wings which were massive. I had a burger which was perfectly cooked for a well done burger. To top it all off, the chocolate cake is unreal. Plus, 22 beers on tap. A great place to spend an afternoon or evening if you are in the area.

Google
The atmosphere was phenomenal. The food was top-notch. We split the chicken wings with bbq sauce. The Fast Joe Burger was fantastic. The chicken tacos were ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! The customer service (Kyanne) was amazing!! Great job!! Thank you for a wonderful evening!!

Google
Looks Beautiful from the outside. When we entered I felt like I was at Chuck E Cheese. Kids running and jumping on shuffleboard tournament tables & bleachers . Several children screaming and running through the brewery. The only good part of the meal was the chips & Guacamole. Food was over cooked & fries were cold. The beer was good so that gets 1 star. Very disappointed. We will not return. Bathrooms smell dirty. The sinks were backed up and there was a bug in the men’s room sink.

The atmosphere here is fantastic — clean, stylish, and cozy, with retro pinball machines, board games, and table games adding a fun touch. Parking was easy when I visited, though I imagine it gets busy sometimes. The food is incredible — the truffle fries with brisket and Korean BBQ wings were delicious, both in flavor and presentation. What really stood out, though, was the service. Sarah greeted me with a big smile when I walked in, and Danie, my server, was super friendly and gave spot-on recommendations — I never would’ve tried the truffle fries with brisket without her advice. Both checked in on all the customers throughout the visit, making the experience extra special. They even have a fun rock-paper-scissors game where you can win a free dessert (I lost, but I blame the alcohol!). The cheesecake crème brûlée is a must-try — they really know what they’re doing. As someone visiting from Illinois, I’m a little jealous of Columbus locals. Can’t wait to try the new menu and hope Sarah and Danie keep getting the recognition they deserve.

My wife booked a table there last month for unlimited wings because we thought the experience would be cool. The literal day before our table they decide to change the pricing and rug pull that deal that we had previously signed up for. They are no longer doing unlimited wings. I called to ask if they could honor the previous agreement for people who booked last month and they said no. This is a real scummy way of doing business and very bad business practices. I understand wanting to change your prices but not rug pulling people who booked before the prices were changed.

Google
I enjoyed my time here. It was my first time visiting. The customer service was quick and efficient. We got Buffalo chicken fries, onion rings, and salads. I got a Cobb salad and added chicken. My girlfriend ordered a Ceasar salad and added salmon. We also grabbed drinks. They were good and strong. My gf had a sangria and I had a "What the Buck". The food overall was good, but my chicken was a bit dry in the salad. I liked the vibe, so I may go back and maybe order something different. I wouldn't write them off completely.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch at BrewDog in New Albany and had such a great experience! The service was exceptional -- huge thanks to Andrew, the bartender, for making us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious. The flatbread was thicker than a typical flatbread, but to die for -- it came with three pieces and was perfectly baked. I also tried the half grilled cheese with tomato bisque, and wow -- the grilled cheese was mouthwatering and the soup was the perfect cozy match. Everything came out piping hot, and I couldn't have been happier. Looking forward to heading back over there soon to try more of the new menu!

Yelp
We stopped in on a weeknight. Boyf likes a good lager and they have some on tap. I liked my cocktail and was glad it wasn't a premixed drink, but made fresh. We didn't get food, so it wasn't a long visit but it was nice to check it out after driving past a few times.

Yelp
KOREAN LOADED FRIES $12.45 Featuring sliced buttermilk fried chicken thigh, Korean BBQ sauce, sweet red onions, and sriracha mayo. BRISKET* $5.95 Comprising beef brisket, pepper jam, pico de gallo, cotija cheese, and cilantro. While the service was satisfactory, the selected menu items did not meet expectations; it appears the primary appeal may not be centered on the fries.

Yelp
How is place still open? I rarely leave reviews, but this place was a major disappointment from start to finish. If you're looking for a family-friendly restaurant, this is not it. The staff made us feel like an inconvenience the moment we walked in--no greeting, no smile, and definitely no warmth. The food was just as underwhelming. For the prices they charge, I expected at least decent quality, but we couldn't even finish our meals. Between the unfriendly atmosphere, lackluster service, and bad food, this was an all-around letdown. We won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone--especially families.

Yelp
Had very good food and very enjoyable live music; An acoustic duo. Atmosphere is nice without being too noisy.

Yelp
With patio season quickly approaching I was reminded by my phones photo memories of the fun time a group of us had at this BrewDog. The patio here is large, beautiful and inviting- the perfect setting for a beautiful day. When we came it was very busy but we were able to snag a spacious patio table and took advantage of the games they provide for extra outdoor entertainment. Our server was great, didn't let our drinks go dry and we enjoyed a few delicious appetizers. It was the perfect ambience for a fun summer evening.

Yelp
5- star service, 5-star food, and a great atmosphere. Burger deal Thursdays are can't miss. Our server was amazing! She had great recommendations, super fast service and an overall pleasant attitude. A bit on the pricy side, but worth it.

Yelp
It bothers me to leave this review as generally we have had a nice experience and I am hoping last night was just not their night. We stopped in for wing Wednesday with a later RSVP. When we arrived we were not greeted and it was as if we were a bother being there. It took several minutes to be seated by a less than pleasant person. It then took what seemed like an unusually long time for anything. I can understand it if they are slammed but at 7:45 they were not and well past the rush. Had to get up twice during our visit. Once to get more water and and a place setting and another time to ask "where's my beer?" By the time I received my wings they were cold. The other order was slightly warm, yet the wings were off, some were dry and some soggy. The second batch was much better, but still not what I have been accustomed to eating here. I have several time told people they had some of the best wings in CBus, but not last night. Our sever was pleasant but it took way too long for anything to occur. As for the beer, it is always good. They always do a nice job. There is a lot of seating inside and outside. The outside patios are awesome and a great place to gather with friends. I will be back, but it will be awhile till I return.

Yelp
Great place, good drinks and food. Service was slow as there was only one person behind the bar. To be fair, there was 4 private parties going on. Place is fun and very kid friendly and comfortable. Food is good, not amazing but its specialty is beer so knowing that the food is better than expected.

Yelp
Super disappointing... So I get there around 4:15 and there's barely anyone there. My friend and I are sat on the patio and no one comes up to us for atleast 20 mins. When our server Autumn finally comes up she says "sorry I got here 20 mins ago no one told me I had a table, has no manager came up to you guys to get you drinks or anything?" Nope sure didn't, I'm trying to cut her some slack because miscommunications happen but I did find it surprising that not a soul came out to the patio for the first 20 mins we were there. Keep in mind too that two other ladies were sat 15 mins after us and our server went to them first. Not a huge deal even though we were there far before them but still cutting some slack because maybe non of her other coworkers told her that we were there first. So our server takes our drink order which is literally just two bottles of coke. We don't get those for atleast 15 mins. Mind you it's still not busy. The other table that came after us has their appetizers out before we even got our drinks and I don't think we wouldn't have gotten them if when Autumn came back over to ask us if we were ready to order and I asked if we could get our drinks still. So it doesn't end there. I ordered the street corn dip the same time I ordered the cokes. More time passed and my friend and I ask if we can move to the bar to watch the football game and since we weren't getting much attention on the patio. So I ask our server if I should just tell the bartender that we're transferring and she said she'll let them know, she didn't we had to tell her. At this point it's been 35 mins since I ordered a simple appetizer. So I asked the bartender if our former server put it in, and she said she did. The bartender goes back to the kitchen and guess what they're out of the dip. Would have been great to know 35 mins ago when I ordered it. The bars not too busy but it seemed like there was only one bartender actually doing stuff, Carolynne was great but you could tell she had no help from the other two people behind the bar. She was making drinks for other tables, taking care of bar guest and taking care of tables around the bar. Who knows what her other coworkers were doing and god only knows where a manager was because for the two hours we were there the manager was no where to be seen. After the dip came out all we ordered was Mac n cheese, fries and some Brussels sprouts and those took forever to come out (at least 35 mins, it still wasn't that busy in there). We had to ask carolynne if they were coming and she went to go check to see if it was ready and it was, and I'm betting it's been ready for a while and was just sitting in a window with no one to run it because no one was helping this poor girl. Service was slow and for the most part terrible, props to Carolynne because she seemed like she was carrying the weight of the whole damn restaurant with little to no help from her coworkers. I'm super disappointed, it's never been this bad when I went before but today was not Brew Dogs day. Would have been nice to see a manager helping their struggling staff. Can't say I'd recommend this place anymore and can't say I'd want to go back after today.

Yelp
We came in the restaurant today - a slow Saturday afternoon, just looking for a relaxing and cool atmosphere to enjoy a mid-day meal. We were seated at a booth that clearly has had torn leather seating for a number of days and why that would not be immediately temporarily repaired, until it can be reupholstered later is beyond me. There were crumbs on the seat as well as on the table. We asked the waitress if she would kindly grab a rag to wipe off the table. She proceeded to excuse the situation by suggesting that tables are always sticky as the cleaner they use has an adverse interaction with the table top coated finish. She did, of course, accommodate our request and wiped off the table with with a rag and a spray cleanser. Ownership/ management, get with it and either use different cleaner products or more appropriately refinish your tabletops with a finished coating that can handle cleansers that frequently are applied to wash all wood top tables regularly. The restaurant offers wing orders of 5, 10 and 15 size servings, respectively. I requested an order of 10, and asked for half of them with sweet and spicy buffalo, and the other 5 to be BBQ. The waitress came back a little later and told me that they can only give me my 10 wings with one type of sauce. I told her that seemed quite peculiar given that they offer orders of five wings so if I had ordered one order with one type of sauce and another order with another type of sauce, they certainly could've served me two different sauces so what's the problem with doing that with my order of 10? Further, from my experience (e.g. Rusty Bucket, 101 Beer Kitchen and High Banks competition just 2-8 minutes away), I have always found that chicken wings are customarily served with celery sticks and ranch dressing as well, and it turned out that Brew Dog does not include celery sticks as is commonly done --most disappointing. When my wife's chicken sandwich and fries were served and my wings were served both her fries and my chicken were cold. Again, we thought that was odd for a slower afternoon. They did promptly take care of that situation and rather promptly served us new fries and new wings, and we appreciated it. It is important that the Kitchen get things right the first time as on a busier night there wouldn't be time for us to wait for a remake nor for the kitchen to prepare it. Not to mention the waste. My wife had also ordered an ice tea and she requested a pack of Splenda. Unfortunately, they have no other form of sugar other than cane sugar, which does not dissolve very well in a cold drink. Wondering what consideration the restaurant is giving to somebody who might be diabetic and could not use sugar? The waitress we had was attentive, but was unsparing in conveying in a rather matter of fact tone and words, a dismissal of our concerns. She specifically said each time I asked about the celery or the ability to deliver my wings with two different sauces that that's just the way they do it here. I give the waitress credit for at least attempting to offer to bring out the wings plain and to also bring me the sauces on the side, but when you're paying $15.95 for 10 wings, that's not how you want your food served - particularly chicken wings. Overall, this restaurant needs to be much more attentive and accommodating of their customers, and needs to adopt far more care for the maintenance in the condition of the restaurant and courtesy to their patrons. The risk you run with skimping on products and service quality is that customer will just skimp too and not return. I share my comments, respectfully. I'm hoping management will pay attention and turn things around. Brew Dog benefits from a wonderful facility and a great concept with a great location and it would be a shame to see it lose traction

Yelp
We had a really good experience at BrewDog. It was late afternoon on a Saturday when we stopped so the noise level was manageable. Based on the size of the place when things are hopping in the evening I bet people are having a great time. The server was a wonderfully pleasant individual and she did not steer us wrong with her recommendations. I had the Fast Joe and my wife had a Caesar salad. Veggies fresh and crisp and my burger cooked to medium as I like it.

Yelp
I struggled to give this place four stars, probably should be more like 3 or 3.5 stars. We chose a Thursday night for the live music and also thought they wouldn't be as busy as a Wednesday night when wings were on special. There were two of us dining and drinking. Upon arriving and letting the hosts know there were only two of us, it took almost a full minute for them to decide where to seat us. We ended up opting for the bar. Unfortunately, our bartender/server was a recent hire and she was training someone new. They both appeared a little gun shy and overwhelmed. We were told we could taste any of the beers. We tried the Pilsner and opted for an American lager, as well as a Pilsner. I asked a couple of questions. I asked about the dry rub on the fries and if it was used on the wings; my server wasn't certain but she assumed so. I asked about the house pickles and if they could be ordered as a side, but was told they could not. She let us peruse the menu a few more minutes. We ordered the wings, a side of fries, and a side of brussel sprouts. I had the Korean BBQ wings (which after asking which flavor was most popular, the server told me this was her favorite) and my boyfriend had the Sweet and Spicy Buffalo (which is the second favorite). Both flavors were good, but the size of the wings was crazily disproportionate - some were huge and some were smaller than my pinky finger. The fries were okay, but I would have rather had the Cajun sauce on the side instead of drizzled on top. The brussel sprouts were fine; we ordered them mostly to add something green to our meal. Our beers went empty several times and we had to request refills of both beer and water. The gentleman playing music was really good, and we enjoyed this part of the evening. Overall, the employees just didn't seem to have that "team player" mentality. They each did their own thing and didn't really move cohesively to provide customer service. One younger gentleman could be seen doing several individual jobs to help out, and the rest of the staff could learn from him. I was aware that BrewDog was a franchise operation, but the lack of merchandise did not indicate such. There was also not a "brewery" feel to the place so if that is what you are looking for, you might want to dig a little deeper in your Yelp search!

Yelp
I've tried over and over and over with this place. So disappointing. Food can be great, but usually is not. We've had undercooked wings and other flops. Service, particularly towards the end of the night is bad. They frequently start closing up an hour before their posted closing hours. Makes for a missed opportunity to drop in at the end of the night.

Yelp
Oh this kills me. If I could give negative stars I would. Im a BrewDog fan. But this location is becoming a hit or miss. We should just go to the Canal location from now on. Quick review: If you like bit of bad attitude, cold wings and having your table truly ignored consistently by a server and then having management offer you free unwanted cake as an apology vs apologizing themselves... this is the place to go. Personally, you would need to drag me back here kicking and screaming after this last visit. The readers digest version is: We came in for all you can eat wings with a reservation. The reservation had a note in it. There was no hostess at the hostess station for the five minutes my husband stood there. I went to patio with dogs to wait for a table. There we encountered a staff member who was quite rude. (Wont post all she said as it was more her tone and eye rolling) She took us to the smaller patio even tho there were seats at the larger one where we were at. There we encountered a "somewhat nicer server (yes I know her name but wont post it on here) who was simply not very attentive. Our order got messed up multiple times. Things never got delivered. Almost everything had a long wait, we had to get up at times and search for our server, who we would find talking vs working. we constantly needed water and inside was empty see my photos. They brought out 1st round of cold wings. They barely had sauce. Super cold as they had been probably waiting on order up shelf for delivery with no server urgency to actually work. We asked for new ones. We told them we didnt want the cold ones. . They said sure no problem, reordered them, but left the cold ones at the table We did not ask for them to remain with us. Replacement comes. They are hot. We ate them. After waiting a bunch of times for a beer and water...Server came out and says kitchen is closing. Asks if we want a second batch as it was all u can eat. We first say no. Simply because we were sick of the bad service and waiting for water, beer and cider..... not because we were not hungry. They say are you eating these. (they were the uncaused cold first ones that were to go BACK) we say no. They box them, not sure why. Meanwhile the server moves to the next table. She needs to pass us to go to kitchen. We get her attn tell her we changed our mind we would like to take her up on that second round before kitchen closes. She says no. We ask " did the kitchen just close" (now she just was at the other table getting them more wings so we knew it hadn't) she says no. Now we are confused. Then says "I cant reorder as you still have some on your plate" and points to the boxed cold ones that we dont even want. I say "wait, you just asked us if we wanted to order some more. Why cant we now. Nothing has changed" (other than we now want to order more) She replies by "shrugs her shoulders and say "cant" and then says this:. "You still have wings on your plate" and points to the box. "You cant get more because you are taking those home" What? Huh? This is craziness. These are the wings we never wanted Then she continues "Uh, but management says will give you free cake for all the excessive wait times". Are you kidding me? Oh dear Lord help me with this.... It took all of my composure to sit there silent. All of it. All my composure We are now mad but refuse to make a scene. Husband and I decline Mainly because this is just not fair. Son gets one just out of spite as he came home and tossed it in the trash he was that mad. This was his second to last night in town. We were there for 90 min most of the time was waiting for things or being treated rudely. Not how we wanted to spend our time I cant get that time back. I rarely get to see him. I am mad because this was supposed to be a fun trip in. It wasnt fun. It was frustrating. 73 dollars this cost and nearly every minute was frustrating. Its been almost a week and I am still angry about the entire experience inside your restaurant. And there are details Im not sharing on Yelp I just refuse . @brewdog @brewDogNewAlbany .

Yelp
Just ordered food to go (after nearly 30 minutes waiting to gain our server's attention) from this restaurant. After finally receiving our food, we went to our seats across the street at the amphitheater. We found that our server did not provide us with any utensils or napkins. Our food looked like it had been dropped and shaken. The tacos were completely deconstructed. The whole meal was a mess. I will never return to this location.

Aditya M.

Yelp
Went there this weekend, was not very busy. Missing multiple items on their menu and the service was poor. Wait time for orders and service was very long despite not being busy. Asked multiple staff members to put in orders for food/drink and were told simply that they were not our server, but didn't make any effort to notify our server or manager that we needed service. Also made mistakes with our order and received the wrong food.

Yelp
I feel kinda bad writing this but Strawberry Cheesecake Freakcake was nothing like a concrete milkshake. It was more like warm strawberry milk, really runny. My waiter was super cool and took it off my bill. I had 2-3 bites of the cheesecake and was not impressed and very disappointed in the watered down warm strawberry milk, no shake. The Korean Fries looked kinda meh and I guess tasted the same. The chicken part was good, just not the fries. Although I really loved the chicken wings and was the best part of my meal or the only thing that was good which is sad because the place is really nice. The service I had was great. I'm honestly surprised being in New Albany and I hope this is not their quality standard of of food. I would come back for beer and wings but I'd be lowkey scared about trying anything else.

Yelp
Here's the deal with BrewDog: It's a spreader. And, when there's several locations, in my opinion, quality tends to lesson. We originally met at High Bank Distillery, but they were booked - at 3:45 pm on a Friday afternoon - until 7:45 pm; we went down the road the BD. Their indoor space is nice with a mix of both and table seating. I personally wouldn't want to sit at the bar, as it was directly across from the front doors; I'm assuming cold winter nights would suck. A nice patio area. Our server gal was not on her game. She was rather curt and barely checked in on us. The place was pretty empty @ 4, but filled up more as the evening progressed. Shared their giant pretzel app. Nothing to write home about. The pretzel was warm and soft, but the cheese starts to coagulate, so don't wait; it was pretty basic. Nothing was jumping out at me, so I got a side of their sweet potato fries and Brussels sprouts. The total, $18 and change definitely did it match the food. The sweet potato fries looked and tasted exactly like Alexa brand. Good taste, but $7? Hmm. The sprouts were good , but would have liked them a bit more crispy around the edges. The serving is a mug-full, literally; was it worth $9, can quite say yes without a doubt.

Yelp
Came in during a trivia evening for drinks and dinner. The food was pretty good, it was taco Tuesday so the tacos are at a discount. Our server was very attentive and provided great service. We did sit outside and were right next to the speaker because the music was so loud. As for the beer, I got a flight and tend to enjoy sours and ciders but I didn't like a single one of the beers in the flight whereas most breweries I usually like one or two. I do like how you can win a free dessert and if you're a chocolate fan, definitely order the cake

Yelp
Pros: Good location Large interior and you can bring your dog Great outdoor seating Lots of brews on tap Liked the cauliflower wings and big pretzel Cons: Our large group showed up for our 6:30pm reservation. They had us down for 7:30. Parking can be a challenge Food options are limited All you can eat wings for 20 bucks was a bust since service was slow. Only got one plate and it was over fried. Poor communication between bartender and servers. Drink orders weren't marked so servers had to guess what the drinks were and who ordered them. Very difficult with our huge group. Pro tip: Had high expectations for this place since I've been to the Canal Winchester location. This one did not hit the mark all the way around. I would go to the main location and avoid this one.

Yelp
We haven't been to BrewDog in a while, and we're surprised by the menu. If memory serves us correctly, the menu used to be a little more varied. The burger my husband ordered could have been made at home, the single taco our friend ordered was just weird and as for the drinks: just because of the drinks will never be back. I'm a Stout girl and this is the weakest, most watery stout I've ever had, in or out of the country. The Punk IPA was substandard to other IPAs my husband has tried. As far as the atmosphere goes, the staff was underwhelming, and the men's room was filthy. Our Son-in-law had to take our two grandsons to the bathroom and was beyond infuriated as to how much urine his little kids had to walk through all over the floor. No excuse. I'm assuming this restaurant chain or at least this location must be on the way out because for a Friday night, there was hardly anyone there.... and we won't be again.

Yelp
First time at this location and it was a surprise. Bigger and better than I thought it would be. Good parking and a nice chill suburban location. The closest brewery to my house which is a plus. Same good food with an amazing beer selection. Service was good all the way around. Only hiccup is that I thought I was going to a beer class. It was actually a beer program that you can do at your own time. Times shouldn't be put on the reservation. I like to be on time so it was bummer that I rushed to get there. Will be back as this is a great place to meet friends. Trivia night on Tuesdays.

Yelp
Enjoyed the patio on a warm evening- what a fun vibe, it will be perfect for summer nights! The food was good but a little expensive for what you get. And I love their explansive beer menu (cocktails and wine options included). They have a small parking lot with several others nearby and walking distance - their dedicated lot was full tonight though the restaurant itself was not. Still very convenient, especially compared to downtown locations. Both the inside and patio are huge and offer great options for group seating and smaller parties of 2-4! They also have a few games and fire pits inside which is fun! I love their Dead and Berried cider (not a big beer fan) - not overly sweet or sour. They definitely have options to appease everyone regardless of beverage preference which is nice for a brewery. The cauliflower wings were good but definitely on the spicier side (at least for me) but I love the texture (not too soggy or tough to eat). The sides were also good- I'd do the Brussels again for sure! Our waitress was busy but attentive and gave good service all night! Definitely will be back to enjoy the patio this summer!

Yelp
You say dog friendly and are on Fido. When I show up with the dog, you say no dogs because some woman complained. I used to attend your establishment and I won't do it again until you allow dogs inside. This is me complaining. And I will make sure through social media that everybody knows that you've given into the complaints of one female. Didn't we vote against that? Is this California? You probably cheer for Notre Dame.

Yelp
I will say customer service is great after everything has went wrong. Went in about 6:30, server was so sweet about us having a toddler with us so we put in an order right away. His food came out in minutes. However, our food came out 2 hours later... As an apology we were given another beer which we didn't drink because we had already had two that we paid for. Then we ended up taking our food to go... the chicken sandwich was good but I was looking forward to the cauliflower wings and why can't they make them like the Canal location. DREADFUL. Our meals were comped so their isn't too much to complain about besides wasted time. I hope they improve though because like I said... the server was 10/10.

Yelp
This place is not very good. The soda was warm and not very good. The employees were nice but the food was not the best. The food is always cold and unseasoned. Came here once, but never again.

Yelp
We are currently at Brew Dog, as we reserved an igloo on their patio for our friend's birthday. We got here at 6:00 and put in an appetizer on their phone ordering system. It is now 7:15 and we still haven't gotten our food. We ran out of water and when I took the empty water containers inside to the bar, the bar grabbed them and put them behind the bar. Didn't say a word to me. I asked if I could get those filled up with water. It appears as though they have five servers for the entire place. My first and last time here. So, just to follow up, our group of 8 people were there for three hours. After two hours a server told us that our food would be out in 5 mins. 30 minutes later we found out that for some reason our food orders were not made. 2 people out of 8 got their meals. They did give us a case of beer and another polar platter for no charge. We felt bad for the employees or lack there of. They should have closed half of the place down if they didn't have enough servers

Yelp
This place is incredible to bring the fam to on the weekends! Friendly staff and even better drinks and food!

Yelp
The food took a long time to come out then was under cooked. They also forgot the paper on my burger. They seem a bit under staffed because service was pretty slow.

Yelp
Service was good and food was good! I will say some items are unique but they're willing to switch things around if asked! Example, I got the Korean tenders which comes on a bed of jalapeño apple slaw, and I'm not a fan of slaw. So I asked if they could put it on their Mac and cheese instead. Super good! Would get it like that again. Soft pretzel was our appetizer and that was good too. Tried their pineapple beer and that did not disappoint either! Definitely will return.

Yelp
This property used to be The Mill, a hardware store that was a social center in old New Albany. Still a social center. Now has alcohol. Met friends here, with their puppy. Perfect place for that. Lots of covered outdoor seating. Lots of varied social spaces in general. Good for dogs, kids, adults. Big chessboard for kids or drinkers to play, some pinball machines, etc. Service was great, for a table of mixed families plus a kid and a dog. Plus I dealt with the bartender for change for games, etc., and they were super cool. Menu had lots of options, everyone got something good. I had a hard time choosing, and went with the Korean bao buns off the brunch menu. Tasty, messy. And small- portions sizes are small and prices are high, so be advised. Still, I'll come back to try out some other things- they were that good and several items sound very enticing. Sweetie got French toast and loved it. Our friends got tacos and said they were good. Baby K got a "Hoppy Meal" with chicken nuggets (far better than McD's), fries, and a kidsicle. I also got a side of sourdough with butter, and she loved that. I got to eat a little. Bathrooms are waaaaay at the other end if you're eating outside. Plenty of parking. We had fun and good food, and we'll save it for special occasions because of price, but it was perfect for us today.

Yelp
You can tell they are trying but they have a lot of issues. We had a reservation and showed up early and they sat us no problem so I appreciate that. However - Service is really slow... but they just seem under staffed. Server tried to be helpful but had a lot going on so I don't really blame her. Food came out really slow and the whole tables order was cold but we waited so long we just decided to eat it so we could pay and leave. The space is nice and the drinks are good. The food would probably be good with a little more effort and speed to move it from expo to tables. Additionally, no one bussed our table as we went and we amassed a large stack of dirty dishes we had to look at for 2 hours. Look, this place could be so good. But they need to work on speed and service.

Yelp
We love BrewDog! The kitchen can be slow at times but that's normal today. Remember... it's the end of summer and people are going back to school. So just relax, play some games and have a few beers. The quality of food is amazing! The service from front of house is absolutely amazing! Great place to hang out aka great atmosphere!

Yelp
So I really do love Brew dog but the service is absolutely horrible. I made a reservation online and stated I need two high chairs for my daughters. My husband got there about 20 minutes before I did and no one acknowledged him. He had to ask to be seated and they didn't have the high chairs. They only gave us one which was okay as my oldest could sit in the booth. Then after I got there with my oldest daughter he still hasn't been helped with menus or a hello. When I asked a waitress she didn't even apologize about the wait or acknowledgement. If she were to just acknowledge that he waited to start and apologize maybe that would have made up for this review. Once we ordered the food it was great and how we wanted. I just wish the service would get better.

Yelp
We visited BrewDogs New Albany for a birthday celebration and were extremely disappointed in the food quality. Two in our party ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich which were more like breaded chicken jerky. I'm guessing they go buy some frozen precooked breaded chicken tenders and throw them in the fryer, then slather some doctored buffalo sauce, slap two pieces on a bun and there you go. Of the two pieces of chicken on our sandwiches, one on each was almost all breading, overcooked breading at that. For $18.50, I think you should at least expect a halfway decent pice of chicken breast. it isn't that hard. lots of restaurants do it well every day. The rest of our food was mediocre, as was the service. We won't be coming back to this chain, ever.

Yelp
I live so close to this location and love breweries, so I have tried to be optimistic and try this place multiple times -- but, it is rarely a good experience. The menu items are very pricey for what they are (burgers, sandwiches), but portions are small and flavor is lacking. Everything has been blah-- or soggy, salty, just seems like little care was put into the food. Service has not been good each time I've visited-- very slow, rarely checked in on by server, etc. There are too many better breweries with good menus of great food trucks to continue to patronize this one (unless I want to grab just a beer at the bar and nothing else.)

Yelp
Seriously! 7:45 on a Saturday night and they would not seat us because they said we didn't have a reservation. There was absolutely no one there. Just be honest with us Brew Dog.

Yelp
Great ambience, noise level is quite high just FYI. But food and order came out fast. We had the plant stack, chicken wings and cauliflower buffalo wings. The plant stack had 3 pcs of onion rings, sweet potato fries and cauli wings wc were good but everything was just fried and eventually just tasted so greasy. The chicken wings were crispy and has 2 dips. The beer of flights were good and each glass has different price. Only service dogs are allowed inside the resto. Other dogs are out in the patio. The server was attentive and friendly. It's cool place for for beer lovers.

Yelp
Love the look of this BrewDog! Super nice patio and inside with the games and big checkers outside on the patio. Bar is very nice! Love the decor. . . Truffle fries are amazing with great flavor. I wish they came out a little bit hotter than they did. The beer pretzel was very good! Soft and fluffy. Loved the dips with it! . . I got the cauliflower wings, they were huge and I loved the flavor of the bbq on them! Family also got wings and enjoyed theirs! . . Loved the Mac and cheese as a side!! . . Food was all amazing, (other than the fries weren't very hot when they came out) my only downfall I've seen at all the brew dogs I've been to is service always seems so slow. The food comes quickly. But it's the servers being slow with coming around asking for drinks, food, etc. Other than that this would have been a 5 star review!

Yelp
Third time back. Sat at the bar, two drinks and an app. 20 min wait for French fries and had to flag down bartender to cash out. Value does not match the price and service is way slow.

Yelp
This is a cool restaurant... The environment is really neat. I love the design of the interior. The food was good but not great. We had the big pretzel which could have used a bigger helping of beer cheese. I had a burger which was good. Wifie had the buffalo chicken burger which she enjoyed. It is worth stopped in and having a beer and dinner.

Yelp
Brewdog i s such a staple of the Columbus brewery scene, I've been going to the location in Franklinton for years. My friends and I really enjoy their drinks and food. I've been to the this location numerous times since its pretty close to my job. The food is always solid and consistent. The serve tends to lack most of the time so this time wasn't anything different, my group was prepared for it. We all ordered some type of burger, which is always my safe bet when going to a brewery. The burger came with a fries for a pretty good price, I ordered the Fast Joe which was their take on a bacon cheeseburger, the food was pretty good and came out fresh which was worth the wait. We also split the cauliflower wings as an appitizer which was really good, they sauced up with a sweet and spicy buffalo sauce which was phenom! If you get the larger portion there will be MORE than enough for everyone. I would recommend this location to anyone who is look to grab good food and good beer.

Yelp
We are not ones to complain and have had many good meals at this location. However, we are extraordinarily disappointed in the quality of service and food. It took over 50 minutes to receive a giant pretzel and seemed to have been forgotten about. Additionally, our wings were severely undercooked- refrigerator cold and pink. We were unable to provide any feedback on our food due to the lack of service. We were only saw the wait staff when we ordered and got our food. Thankfully the table has a QR code to pay or else we would've been sitting there for who knows how long.

Yelp
I love the atmosphere of this restaurant! It is huge, lots of tables, and a beautiful patio area. The beer is good and they have a lot of options to order. Last time I visited I ordered the fried chicken sandwich. I honestly didn't love this because most of it seemed to be breading. In the past I have ordered the cauliflower wings and thought they were really good. I also enjoy the tacos. Someone else at my table ordered the wings. They also have a lot of breading but the person who ordered enjoyed them!

Yelp
They ran out of brunch food, they ran out of alcohol for the "bottomless mimosa's" they advertise as you walk in. They are so slow, food is average. You pay 1$ for every condiment.. ?? Lots of loud kids with their drunk parents.

Sara Z.

Yelp
This is the third super negative experience we've had with them in less than a month... keep trying to support them since they're one of only a few New Albany restaurants but they're just awful. Always understaffed and food has been in-edible at times. Will not be going back.

Yelp
The food has always been good and the cauliflower wings are the best I've ever had. The prices are a bit high though which is why I gave it 4 stars. We usually try to go on Mondays because it is vegetarian night. Our kids love the pretzel and shuffleboard.

Yelp
Really cool location and ambience. They host trivia on Tuesdays and you can win gift cards. My favorite is the giant pretzel with charcuterie! Great staff and service--shout out to managers Reid and Kaylee!
