Absolutely phenomenal food and drinks. Service was impeccable!! Staff were amazing!! Clarisa, Julia, and Sara, you guys are the best!! Down to earth and would love to hang out again. We had the tri tip sandwich, hot chicken sandwich, tator tots, sweet potato fries and fried pickle. Michelada was delicious and the drink kiss of the dragon was great!! Will definitely come again and try each entree.

Best wings & beer in town! Draconum is one of those hidden gems that keeps you coming back, not only for their delicious food and beer, but for the friendly service and atmosphere. I highly recommend their buffalo wings, pretzel with beer cheese, and the bread pudding!

This place is hands-down the best brewery in the valley. The chef is on another level—every dish feels crafted with intention and comes out bursting with flavor. The brews? Made in-house and easily award-winning in my book (and I’m pretty picky when it comes to beer). Somehow they manage to keep things creative while nailing consistency every single time. The bartenders and servers are the kind of people who remind you why hospitality is an art. They’re knowledgeable without being pretentious, friendly without being fake, and they somehow know exactly when you want to chat or when you just want to enjoy your pint in peace. That balance makes all the difference. What makes it even more special is the community here. Regulars and staff alike have become a second family to me. It’s the type of place where you walk in and immediately feel at home—whether it’s through friendly banter or the freedom to simply exist exactly as you are. I’m a creature of habit, and I’ll admit—I refuse to go anywhere else. If it ain’t broke, why fix it? And yet, even as a regular, I can switch it up on the food or beer menu and I’m always impressed. Never once disappointed. If you’re in the valley and you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out on something truly special.

Just tried this place out yesterday for our traditional Cousins birth brunch and let me tell you…everything was perfect. The food, drinks and service was amazing. Sara was on it. I’ve been looking for a delicious peach IPA and their Peachland Estates was delicious, even had to take some to go. The chicken sandwich was chefs kiss and the deserts…omg mouth watering! Definitely will be coming back.

This place has great beer and an assortment of bar food (pretzel & cheese, fries, poppers) and the service was quick! Wings were soooo yummy!

Google
The Dragon Eggs are fantastic! Tons of meat, stuffed with cheese and deep-fried with a fantastic spicy Dragon Sauce. The burger was also awesome, although I wish the patty had been bigger. That's my only complaint. Instead of getting fries, I got it with a side salad, and the side salad was no joke. It had chickpeas and artichoke hearts in it and a wonderful vinaigrette drizzle. I figured I had to try dessert, so I got the bread pudding. It was out of this world. Sara K. at the bar was fantastic, and I tried a couple of their lighter beers: the Krolsh and the Mexican lager. I'll definitely be back to try their house lager and their porter and get more of the food. They have a new chef as of November, and she's phenomenal. Go check them out.

Google
Consistently great service and beer. The Horchata Stout and Porter are perfect. The Saison is great. Good has been incredible. Really nice beer garden. Super friendly staff. It’s a win all around.

Yelp
We met up here for a friend who came in from our of town. The outside was all decorated for christmas and it was beautiful. There is plenty of seating inside and outside which is nice. I wanted to order the wings but the waitress mentioned they were out and listed a few other things as well. I ended up ordered the sweet potato fries and pretzel. They were perfectly cooked. My friends ordered the pasta and onion rings. They enjoyed their food too. I definitely would come back with friends since it is a relaxed atmosphere.

Yelp
This place has some stuff going for it, but falls flat in other crucial areas. The location is nice, its easy to spot, and its a really well appropriated place. I appreciate that they have a dozen dragon statues and art pieces in the dining room to stay on brand. Our server, Angela, was attentive, and pleasant. Chatty without being overbearing, and answered all my questions. I ordered three beers. The first was the Reddy or Not, which was really good! It's a little more bitter than red ales I usually like but it eases up on the palate a lot very quickly. I would get it again. The cider on rotation was a Made Marion blackberry cider which was excellent. It had a faint mead like taste, and strong berry notes that set it apart from apple ciders. Id definitely drink this one again. The third was the Tangerine Cream, and it conversely was awful. It starts off with almost no flavor at all, and finishes bitter and almost polleny. I would not order this one again. I wish I'd ended on a different beer. The appetizer sampler came with quite a few items. The jalapeño poppers were tasty though slightly over fried, just by 20 seconds or so. I wish they'd been just a little lighter, but the flavor was really good. The chicken strips were just chicken strips but they were a great vessel for the three sauces: the bbq sauce here is very good, sweet and tangy, thick like a Kansas city style bbq sauce. The dragon sauce is also tasty, with a little hint of spice that was not overwhelming. The ranch was ranch, but it was a good ranch! Also on the sampler were the mozzarella sticks, which were the ideal for a mozzarella stick. They were big, hearty, and fresh. My cheese pulled across the table. The dragon eggs were the most unique item on the plate, its like a meatball, with cheese in the middle, beer battered and fried. It was good, but a little scrawny. I could have stood a little more heartiness here. Finally, the buffalo wings were kind of a star on the plate, and I don't usually like buffalo sauce. It wasn't overwhelmingly vinegary or spicy. Paired with the ranch, the wings were excellent. Also ordered the pretzel and cheese app, and it was an A+. Soft, chewy, warm pretzel with flaky salt, and a gooey spicy cheese dip. I'd order a round of these for the table if I came with a group. I ordered a bbq burger, with onion rings, and I regret to say I have less nice things to say about it. The burger came with bacon, bbq sauce, and an onion ring, but somewhere in it all of the potential flavor just gets lost. There wasn't enough sauce on it to taste like bbq. The onion rings were greasy, and tasted oily. The bacon was plentiful but tasted cheap, and overcooked. I was highly disappointed in the burger. I would not order another burger or sandwich from here. The chefs special menu looked much more interesting, and I regret not ordering from it. I would come back to try the chefs specials. All in all, this is a cute date night spot or a nice place to beer with the boys. The staff is all pleasant, and they even have a bar game called Singo that they do every so often, though I overheard it was going to be 80's hair metal themed and thought that sounded pretty lame, so I didn't hang around for it. Another theme might entice me to get another brew and hang out, but hair bands are wildly played out in 2025.

Yelp
We enjoy the food and service there. It is the environment of a casual bar. We've been there at least twice. Ones with another couple and once on our own. I believe we ate both times.

Yelp
So many choices on drinks (beer and cocktail) and food also - my kind of place. We sat outside by choice for it was the perfect summer evening. The only thing is the table is too small (my opinion) for 4 people so it helped that they had attentive service clearing dishes as soon as one is done. Can't wait to return - perfect place for families, friends and casual dates. I am already making plans with other couples to meet here during to their variety of choices for food and drinks (one of diners in our party is vegetarian).

Yelp
Stumbled upon this cute bar while we were doing our bar hopping on Saturday evening. Beautiful day, great vibes. We dropped by for some drinks and found out they had a beer garden in the back. Super cute and definitely a must see! They have games and long bar tables out back too and if the weather is beautiful, I recommend dining outside! The home made root beer pairs SO well with their pretzel and beer cheese! It was such a nice little snack while chatting and just hanging out. Our waitress was helpful and attentive as well! Even seated immediately before it got really busy. Great spot to check out and would definitely come back since the food looked good. IG: @ammysalamii

Yelp
It's been years since I've been to the Downtown Newhall area, so it was nice to see so many new restaurants in the area - Brewery Draconum being one of them. Love the more laid back, relaxed vibe. Definitely gets loud when it's crowded, but it's more from everyone talking and having a good time vs a rowdy venue. Decent number of tables inside as well as good bar seating. It was freezing and pouring rain outside, but still plenty warm inside. They had a good beer selection - both from their own brewery as well as from guest rotations. I was surprised by how large the menu was - usually when I go to breweries their menu is a bit more limited, but there were plenty of options here. Their Deluxe Grilled Cheese sandwich was pretty tasty - the tomato and the prosciutto added such delicious flavor and really brought the standard grilled cheese to the next level. Their Buffalo Chicken Wrap and Dragon Burger were also good options. A bit disappointed in the fries, though - seemed a bit flavorless when they could have really complimented the food. A bit pricier here - the grilled cheese was $18.50 while the burger was $21. Food was good, but the prices seemed a tad bit high. There is some street parking, but there is also a free parking garage less than a block away. Made for really easy parking. Definitely down to come back for a beer and some appetizers. As I said, the food seemed a bit pricier so wouldn't be my first choice for food. Great for a stop with friends!

Yelp
Really enjoyed the food and drinks. Had the shepards pie, which was really good, and an ample portion. Margarita was good too.

Yelp
Came here last Winter on a weekend evening with the kids. Yeah, it probably isn't the best idea to bring kids to a bar but we were told we could sit outside in the beer garden where they had lots of family games to play with them so we gave it a shot. We arrived and it wasn't too busy inside, not full, and were ushered to the back immediately where we had the patio to ourselves. The patio appeared as advertised. Lots of games to play, including board games and card games. It was chilly but they turned on the heaters for us so we coped. I must say that the service was fantastic. Friendly servers, checked on us often. But the goodness ends there. I have to say that the food was atrocious. Nobody liked it, not even my kids. I got a $22 tri tip sandwich that tasted like it came out of a can. We also ordered some chili cheese fries that looked, and tasted unfortunately, like dog food. None of my kids liked their pasta, hotdogs or grilled cheese. I don't know if it was new staff in the kitchen or a new food supplier, but it needs to be addressed. Otherwise, we had fun playing games and chatting outside, since we were the only ones out there. But now I suspect that is because of the food, but I hope it was because it was cold.

Yelp
We've been here two times in the last two days. There was different staff both days, and they were all AMAZING. Drinks are delicious, food is both interesting and delicious. The theme is SO well done, and the garden in the back is so pretty. Currently trying to figure out how to get married here. ‍

Yelp
Staff is wondering, food is amazing and the beer is delicious..Food is reasonable and they have an amazing beer selection. My favorite is the Cerveza Dragon Mexican Lager.

Yelp
We went on a Saturday afternoon. Our waitress Sarah was great, we loved her! The drinks (made with 'wine') and spinach artichoke poppers were a highlight. Perfect spot for a weekend afternoon - highly recommend.

Yelp
Stopped in for drinks and dessert while waiting for our movie. We were told in advance that they do last call for the bar and kitchen 1/2 hour before close. Friendly service! Loved the rich bread pudding paired with the Mexican Lager and Hibiscus Cider. Very laid back, casual vibe and the outdoor beer garden was recently remodeled we heard.

Yelp
Friendly staff. More upscale inside. Serve food and drinks. Have plenty of draft beers offerings. OK for kids. Parking can be a chore for on street, hit or miss. There is a large parking structure near by.

Yelp
I hate leaving this type of review especially on a family owned business. We were a party of four and we all ordered there basic burger with cheese, medium well. The burgers came out promptly very well done on stale rolls. We were extremely disappointed. I'm not sure I would return.

Yelp
Stopped by with a friend for a quick beer today at Brewery Draconum. It was rainy and cold, perfect to sit at the bar to keep dry with a nice people and cozy atmosphere. My review is on the shorter side as we just came for a beer. Unfortunately we had stuffed ourselves silly with food at an event and sadly had no room to order any food here. I will say even though we didn't get any bites almost every table had food and it all looked super good. We saw wings, sandwiches, and fried bar bites going out. Definitely hope to come back to try something next time. We cozied up to the bar and enjoyed that on a rainy Saturday afternoon we had the bar top all to ourselves. Love the wood and that they have glass panels behind the bar so that you can actually see the brewery and cylinders behind. Draconum has a pretty good selection of their own crafted beers. We both opted for the cerveza dragon (Mexican lager) which was delicious. Super mild and refreshing but had good flavor. They advertised this as one of their new beers on tap. The bar decor is definitely cool with the dragon theme and some nice beer steins off to one side of the bar. I like the dragon and semi medieval theme. Cute merch, clothing, stickers, and hats. Kind of regret not buying something, maybe next time. The restaurant was clean and they have ample amount of bathroom stalls here (that's important lol). Looks like they have a cute outdoor back patio too but was rainy so maybe can check it out next time. Staff were very friendly here. Very good vibes and for not being locals we definitely felt welcomed. All in all this is a cool brewery on this side of town and I would love to come back for some more samplings of their beers and their food.

Yelp
Juicy Drake is still the best. However staff and the owner are quite rude not with the experience

Yelp
A great party venue! I can't say enough good things about the birthday party we had for my husband's birthday. We had 65 people in attendance and had the whole beer garden to ourselves. Caroline the co-owner was with us from our first inquiry up to and including overseeing the actual party. She helped plan the menu and was open to anything we wanted. The beer garden so pretty with lots of shade and modular tables that we had them set up some large and some small groupings. The kids were kept busy with the cornhole game. The food was great, the dedicated beverage servers were very friendly and efficient and the prices were very reasonable. All our guests raved about the venue.

Yelp
Visited for the first time and enjoyed the appetizers (artichoke balls and apple empanada) as well as the flight of beer! I loved the beer Birthday Suit & was able to have the beer canned! You can get beer of your choice canned to go! Definitely a spot to go to unwind! Live music offered during the week!

Stacy G.

Yelp
This restaurant is so delicious!!! I love the cocktails here, so unique and I always get such a good buzz. I had their summer specials with the French dip onion sandwich with onion rings. Love the vibe! What's a great gastropub! Love the outdoor seating in the beer garden. Great date night spot!

Nicole D.

Yelp
Every time we've been here we've had an outstanding time!!!! Brewery Draconum is amazingly versatile, fun for the family, a party or even on a date spot! The food is SO delectable with enticing flavors. We took our young family to the Easter brunch to meet with another family and it was a blast. The kids were able to play and run around the amazing back patio yard- with an Easter egg hunt and the brunch menu was delightful!! We are SO impressed! The loaded Bloody Mary was so delicious, it even had a breaded jalapeño I've also gone here on a date night without kids and had a fun time trying different brews and drinks. If you're in Newhall or Santa Clarita area you have to check this place out!!

Yelp
What a place with great food, drinks and a place to bring the kids ?! This is it ! Met some friends this afternoon to decompress and brought the kids along. Everyone truly enjoyed their time, meals and drinks ! !

Yelp
Beer: 4/10 Food: 9/10 Ambiance: 10/10 The Draconum beer, which they brew locally, is not very good. Each style tastes flat and watered down. Not sure if their beers are produced with less carbonation or what the deal is, but if you know and love craft beer, the offerings at Draconum miss the mark by a long shot. The food on the other hand is great. I come here a few times a year and any meal I order is always top-notch. Great fish & chips, burgers, chicken sandwich & small plates. Also have excellent options for kids. The inside is amazing, especially in the evening. Great for a date or group of friends. Not a ton of tables but they're spaced out very thoughtfully. There are also many seating options by the bar. They also have an outdoor area with shared picnic tables.

Yelp
This was a cute little brewery! We were in town and noticed our airbnb was right across from this Main st area. We went in on a Friday night around 7 pm or so. There was a wait inside, which is a little on the smaller side, so we opted for the outside area because they had warmers. They had cornhole and giant connect 4 out there, so that was cool. I did also see that they have 18+ comedy and board games to play. At first, it was just the 4 of us and another couple outside, but it filled up pretty quick. I was having some stomach issues, so I opted for Sprite, but everyone else got the hot chocolate because it was so cold, a beer, and a beer flight (4 beers in that). The guys said the beers were very good. For food, we got the potato leek soup, wings, shepherd pie, and the caprese sandwich. Hits all around! I couldn't do too much of my soup, again because of stomach issues, but the little bit I did have was very good! It was super cheesy and had big bits of cut-up bacon. Almost all the but my soup and my sisters shepherds pie was eaten up! Very tasty! They also had really great service! The hostess who sat us was great at assuring us they had heaters and stuff if we sat outside. Our waitress, Rachel, was also super nice! Really attentive and was quick with things. She also had an awesome attitude and personality. This was a nice place, and I def recommend it! Anxiety induced questions I had that may help you: 1. Do they take reservations - No, this is first come first serve. 2. Is the wait long - It can be, unless you are willing to flex and sit outside. Especially because the inside isn't that big. 3. Is there parking nearby - There is street parking when available. There's also a small garage next to the nearby movie theater.

Yelp
We came in on a busy Sunday night. We noticed a sign that said they were short staffed. We were not in a rush and didn't mind waiting, plus they had nice live music going. After we were seated we tried ordering chili fries but were told they were out of chili and they suggested their carne asada fries. In the end we were happy to have gotten the carne asada fries because they were amazing! We also enjoyed our beers, burgers and sliders. We even got to play bocce ball in their beer garden. I will say that even though they were short staffed, our server and the bartender was running around trying to help everyone quickly and check in with them. I have never seen someone work so hard to serve their customers. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Brewery Draconum is one of favorite places to eat in Santa Clarita. Their fish and chips are excellent and their fried jalapeños better!

Yelp
Overall, I wasn't impressed with this place. It was slow on a Tuesday night, which I was happy with, but the overall ambiance was dry, dull and boring. The food was not inspiring, and the staff wasn't that friendly. The concept is a brewery. But it felt too clinical. We were there on a pub crawl and didn't have a lot of food. We each had one drink, and some appetizers. No-one in our group of 5 was wowed by the experience. The highlight for me was a dark ale combined with a champagne that was delicious.
google avatar

Hunter V.

Yelp
Man, what a disappointment. We've been here a few times and have enjoyed the food and service. But not tonight. I want to grant them some leeway since it was St Patrick's Day, but they weren't overwhelming busy. In fact we were seated right away. Placed our drink order and an app. Thank goodness we ordered the app, our food never arrived. After like 30 mins the app showed up (it was delicious btw). But after seeing other people arrive after us, get their food and leave we got a little suspicious something was up. Our server was not very attentive, disappearing for long stretches. She did pop by to tell us the kitchen was running behind. 30 minutes later I asked another server if he could check on our orders. 10-15 mins later our original server came out with the guy I had just asked to check on our order. She says " did you tell them about the mashed potatoes?" "We ran out of mashed potatoes and two of your orders have them." It took them over an hour to tell us they ran out of mashed potatoes and only after asking did they tell us? What was the plan? What about the order that didn't have mashed potatoes? In the end they did right by comping the app and drinks, but it didn't make up for the time and the lack of St Pattys dinner. We ended up at another famous Irish establishment, McDonalds. The food was ready in minutes.

Yelp
This place has long deserved a review from me. I first went to visit this place about a year ago but did not get around to review. I was in town to meet up with a few friends and chose this spot for our hangout! They were understaffed as it was only 2 people on the floor but they were on top of everything. Shoutout to the two ladies holding down the fort that night. They made sure to seat us, we're checking in on us and made sure we always had our drinks. Their food is also amazing! Love a good brewery that has an amazing food selection. My entire party basically had everything on their menu and loved it all. I ordered their chili cheese fries and their loaded totochos, which I highly recommend! Love this spot! Going to continue to come here!

Yelp
Solid brewpub right downtown Santa Clarita. Street parking nearby. Great outdoor patio with multiple games for both adults and kids. Lots of beers on tap and large food menu with a ton of appetizers, sandwiches, and entrees. Overall everything was tasty and we enjoyed hanging out on the patio with food, beer, and dessert for awhile. Friendly staff. Will definitely be back to check out the other dishes.

Yelp
Really enjoy eating here w/ the girls. I like the decor & love the dragons. Servers are friendly & accommodating to our varied requests. This would be a fun place for a birthday lunch or other celebratory meal. I love the Dragon Eggs & will be ordering that again. The salmon was good too

Yelp
If you're looking for great beer, great food, and the best service to accompany an already perfect atmosphere, this is the place for you. I have been coming here for several years, and everything has remained consistently amazing! You can tell the ingredients are all fresh, the staff turn over is very low. Iit's obvious that anyone that comes through Brewery Draconum's doors are welcome, staff and patrons alike. They have jazz music every or every other (or every) Wednesday which is a welcome change in comparison to other restaurants SCV during the week. On the weekends they have a brunch that goes from 9 a.m to 1 p.m, and the food is amazing!! They also offer a point system that lets you get money off beer and food after you get enough points! Overall if you're looking for a fun, relaxing, and social evening, Draconum is the place to be at any time during the week/weekend!

Rosalie S.

Yelp
Went in on a midday Saturday to kill some time. We were sat quickly and just ordered an appetizer the Tots. Took 30 minutes for them to come out and when they did they were cold. Waitress didn't check on us see how the food was or anything. Didn't offer refills or anything. We left decided to leave after.
google avatar

Greg R.

Yelp
We are regulars! Great beer garden, super friendly wait staff and delicious food n' beer. Special shout out to Sarah, who is the best!

Patricia M.

Yelp
We went with friends for dinner Sunday. As always, great food. Had the Bangers and champs. They have Singo every 2 weeks, it's like bingo except with music. Really fun! Will definitely go again.

Morgan J.

Yelp
Mediocre food at best. Beer wasn't too bad. Service was surprisingly bad. I like the setup, too bad it's wasted on the manager/owner ‍

Yelp
LOVE Brewery Draconum. Charming atmosphere, attentive staff, excellent selection of draft beers and I want to eat the entire menu, but I am one man. The beer garden in the back is perfect for hosting large groups. I needed a place to host a screening for 40+ heads and Caroline, the owner, went out of her way to ensure no detail got overlooked. The team covering our private event was great. No one had to raise a finger to get next rounds or appetizers, they let everyone know about kitchen closures/last calls so no one went hungry or thirsty, and the bills all came out perfectly accurate with us moving around--shoutout to Rachael, Sydney, and Angie for really, truly knocking it out of the park and making us all feel so welcome. The buffalo cauliflower is a 10/10 (extra blue cheese please) as are the loaded tatchos and the deluxe grilled cheese with FIG JAM, WHAT?! Draconum is a gem, a great option for anything from a date night to huge birthday blowout.

Valerie M.

Yelp
We came here with friends with kids . We hung out in the patio to my surprise they had things for the kids to play with . While we had finger foods and drinks . This spots very chill.

Katherine L.

Yelp
Good beer and service! Ambiance is dragon-themed so some of the beers are named accordingly. Their buffalo cauliflower is sooooo good and very nice portion. Their shepherds pie was also really good.

Kelleen K.

Yelp
I love the dragon eggs and the drinks are good. I also enjoyed the pretzel. I think my drink was called a hibiscus spritzer or something like that it was light and refreshing but I do prefer sweeter drinks typically.
google avatar

Roy A.

Yelp
Came here with my daughter and grandchild and enjoyed a cold beer brewed onsite in the expansive outdoor seating area. Liked the cauliflower appetizer, blackened salmon tacos and salad topped with chicken. The service is a mixed bag. When we came for lunch, there were few people and we had attentive service. Upon a return for dinner, the hostess was abrupt and rude, and claimed not have capacity to offer a beer while waiting to be seated despite several empty seats, and bar service, so we went elsewhere.

Yelp
Excellent beer selection, amazing food and even better service! I love to come for a working lunch with my best friend. My favorite things to eat in no particular order: loaded tater tots (the beer cheese is to die for), shepherds pie and hot chicken sandwich. I went for their soft launch of their brunch (coming soon) I got the avocado toast (without cojita cheese) it came with a hash browns with a side of bacon. It was to so good and once brunch is live that's definitely going on my list of favorites to order. Long story short if you're wondering if you should come here or if the food is good the answer is yes!

Yelp
First time coming here and we had a delicious brunch! I ordered the hot chicken biscuit sandwich. The spicy sauce was delicious and the chicken moist! My fiancé loved his Monte Cristo and the well done potatoes were some of the best hash browns we've ever had! I like how their menu has unique items on it, and we look forward to coming back and tasting more!

Yelp
Nice atmosphere, good prices, OK food. Overall, its an average experience. Ordered Fish and Chips. Granted we are in the US not Britain but I did not expect stale potato chips in lieu of French fries. Fish was decent minus the one bone. Batter was heavy and slightly too oily. Service was good.

Yelp
Perfect summer lunch combination today on a busy Saturday afternoon at the old town Newhall. I had their southwestern salad and an order of onion rings! Thanks to Brandon for his super efficient service, who attended to us inside when the whole place was packed - both inside and their outdoor patio. Liked the table by the window today which happened to be the coolest area on a hot day. Always good to come back here. Cheers!

Yelp
Good service. Cool place. Good beer. Only complaint is the food. Maybe I got the wrong thing but the Chimichurri Chicken Wrap was bland, not properly wrapped and it didn't have any Chimichurri! Would go back and try something else though.
