"Just outside of downtown is Brewhalla Hotel (from $160 per night), opened in 2023, the industrial-style 40-room hotel sits atop Brewhalla and comes with beer-themed rooms, complimentary coffee from Thunder Coffee, and a free 6-ounce beer taster at Drekker Brewery’s Brewhalla bar."

Brewhalla is an awesome and unique venue. Sometimes doesn’t even feel like you’re in Fargo. Great vibe and service. And happy hour (4-6 pm) is a great value. We did not stay at the hotel…just went to Brewhalla to meet up with friends.

We came here for a wedding and enjoyed the space and atmosphere. The venue was nice and the service and drinks were great. However, we didn’t find it very baby friendly. When we asked staff about a lactation space we were told we could use the family restroom. It was clean and had enough space, but nursing in a public restroom is far from ideal. Another issue is that there are only two family/gender neutral restrooms, and these were the only places we could find a changing table. We had to wait several times during the course of the evening. More changing tables and a dedicated lactation space would make the experience here with a baby on par with other venues. Other than that aspect we had a great time.

5-star Market, 1-star Hotel. ||Very torn as I write this as the shopping area is awesome! Was really looking forward to writing a five-star review, however since the two are technically one business I can only award 2 stars overall. ||So for those who are unaware Brewhalla serves as a melting pot or "Brew-Hall" encompassing 4 floors featuring many businesses including, Drekker Brewing as well as many local eateries, craft stores, pet stores, custom goods, pinball machines, and reservable event venues; with the top two floors being for the hotel.||Upon entering you'll quickly discover how pet-friendly the location is, with multiple people and store owners having pets with them. However, DO NOT be misled. Pets ARE ONLY ALLOWED in the building itself, and NOT in the hotel. That's right folks, despite the pet-friendly atmosphere, the hotel will not allow you to stay with them unless you have a service animal. ||After attempting to book a room from the night I was turned away for having a dog. The desk clerk even stated "Just tell me he's a service animal" UNBELIEVABLE. To add insult to injury, as I was exiting, (tail between my legs) I encountered another guest in the stairway approaching the hotel... I saw he had a dog so I let him know my experience... his reply "Oh, yeah, just tell them you have a service animal and they will allow you to stay." WOW-I refuse to stoop to that level, talk about bad karma. ||I've mentioned this story to multiple people in the market, all of whom were shocked to learn about the pet policy of the hotel. Honestly not sure what they're trying to accomplish by banning pets in the hotel. The industrial design makes it near impossible for the pet to damage anything, and conflicts with the entire atmosphere built by making the market area pet-friendly...why allow them in one and not the other? Especially since the reviews of the hotel are already terrible due to the noise of the nearby train. ||PRO Tip: Definitely visit Brewhalla and all the businesses inside, however, if you have a pet don't bother with the hotel. Stay elsewhere (I recommend Hotel Donaldson. They allow pets, are in a prime downtown location, and not far from Brewhalla) ||Really hoping this review inspires a re-evaluation of the pet policy for the hotel. Would definitely stay next year when I make my annual Fargo visit.

I *loved* this place, but I could see it not being for everyone. But, I am not your typical 74 year old. This is a hotel built with an event center and a marketplace, connected with a local brewery. Each room is inspired by one of their craft beers. Mine was Cuddle Puppy. Definitely not puppies! The designs on the wall behind the bed are reminiscent of graffiti artwork. (See the pictures.) The rooms are on the third and fourth floors, and are accessible with a code that works for the elevator and as your room key also. The whole place is essentially a big concrete warehouse modified in a funky way. Even the room floors, walls, and ceiling are all polished concrete. Ironically, I don't even drink. Don't like the taste of alcohol, but I still loved this place.|If you call for reservations, they suggest going online to book. But, you can talk with a live person if need be. |Check in is at the bar straight in from the door, but if I understood things right, you can also just use a code you get on your phone or computer, or other device, and go straight to your room. I am more "old school." I like person to person contact, but it seems that it is not necessary.|The staff were great. Everyone was more than willing to help me and make me feel welcome. The shops were a variety of things. One was a souvenir shop, another an oyster bar. Two floors of variety. |There were also two rows of pinball machines, one in the brewery, one on the second floor. I am a pinball aficionado, so I was having a great time. |As for the room itself, it was clean, comfortable, and large. It was quiet, but a caveat here. I was on the train track side, and outside my spacious balcony, I could watch trains go by below me. You can also hear them, but they aren't annoyingly loud. I like trains, so they didn't bother me one bit, and there don't seem to be any "middle of the night" ones, at least none *I* heard. If trains bother you, request a street side room. |I really don't have anything bad to say about this place. I would stay here again if I was ever in Fargo again.

We just loved our hotel room. It was like staying in a small apartment minus the washer/dryer and stove/oven. I like the nice wide lounge area on the second floor, and the first floor was so much fun with all the shops and places to eat. The oyster bar was a huge hit for us. We definitely can't wait to spend another night here again.

Stayed at the hotel and exceeded our expectations. Room was super clean, and I love that there's no carpet or fabric (couch was faux leather) to be collecting stains and nastiness. We stayed on side facing the parking lot (so, not the RR tracks). Heard one train, just barely. When we holed up in our room around 8:30, and there were still plenty of people downstairs on a Friday night, we shut the door and almost all the sound was blocked. Nice foam mattress, spacious rooms with everything you need. Quick 5-min drive to downtown area. Definitely recommend!

WOW! We stumbled upon this gem when we were in Fargo for the day visiting the Drekker Brewery. When we discovered the hotel attached to the brewery, we decided to check it out. SOO COOOL> different and unique. We liked it so much, we stayed two nights. After spending a day troll hunting in Detroit Lakes, we came back for the second night. The Market is perfect for funky shopping and delicious food. We had the pizza...so good. I wish we had gotten the names of the hotel staff/bar staff that were so helpful and friendly. We loved the "industrial motif" and the beds were SOOOOO comfy. Slept thru the night. Loved the amenities and how quiet it was. If we are ever in Fargo again (we live in FL) - we will stay again. Wish they had more of them throughout out travels. Great place!

This was not just a hotel stay but a wonderful memorable experience, from start to finish. This hotel has everything a person needs to be comfortable with when they are away from home. The rooms were spacious, the ambiance and the atmosphere were amazing, and the staff was both accommodating and welcoming. I will definitely be staying there again. This is definitely a place that will put Fargo North Dakota on the map and on the minds of many people.
