Donuts are a very tricky thing to get right for some reason (to me). But Brewnuts does them so dang well. And before I begin let me say that any business that is so openly inclusive and welcoming (as you'll see in the photos) is a business you should support. I am forever changed by these donuts, they were that incredible. Nothing else will ever compare. I walked into this beautiful magic factory and, I feel like they did this on purpose, but they had 12 different flavors. So you want me to buy a dozen? Well, ok. Nobody needs a dozen donuts unless they're Brewnuts. So I got my dozen and I grabbed an amazing Ohio beer, Bodhi Double IPA, took my little basket and knife so I could taste each one and sat down at a really cute picnic table totally unprepared. Every piece of doughnut that I ate was absolute perfection (except the espresso, I dislike coffee). The flavors are so unique and so palate pleasing that you will not soon forget them. My favorite out of all of them, if I'm forced to choose, was the chocolate cream filled heart. Oh my goodness, so delicious. The cream filling wasn't that cloyingly sweet artificial taste that comes in most filled donuts. It tasted almost like a chocolate whipped cream with a little more weight and depth. Delicious. If you want something surprising and different, try the Violet Clementine. At first it's very surprising and almost perfume-y, but then it settles into a really interesting and tasty bite. I can't explain it any other way than that, please don't ask me to. It was delicious. They are all delicious. The beer selection is amazing. The people are amazing. The space is amazing. The people are welcoming and the space is welcoming. Also, I never tip places like this, but I definitely tipped here. I believe it's locally owned and they do such an amazing job you will definitely want to tip them and come back again and again!
