Brezo gets 5 stars all the way. Every single thing I have eaten, or my child has eaten, has been so delicious! Best fries on the planet, everything is seasoned to perfection, High-quality ingredients and obviously made with a lot of care. The desserts are heaven, not overly sweet, amazing textures and nuance in flavor... yum! Everything we have not tried also looks phenomenal. I'm definitely looking forward to our next visit so we can try more! We will be back again and again!

Been here twice. Once for brunch and once for dinner. Both times the quality of the food were amazing. Best dinner and dessert I've had a restaurant in a long time. We had the Sea Bass and the short rib sopes. For dessert we had the dark chocolate tart, praline and whipped cream with a Kahlua sauce. (It was one of the best desserts I've had in a long time)This place is our official date night spot when we can get away.

I came to write a review to support the owners bcz they are such sweet and incredibly hard working people. The food is rly fresh, flavorful and good, th portions are huge. The Calico salad is my favorite salad as a non salad eater lol! The burger and fried chicken sandwich are so perfectly seasoned and juicy. They have rotating specials like the ceaser chicken wrap, crab sandwich, or corned beef/reuben something like that. They are soo good it's rly sad when they don't have that special that day hahah. My favorite thing to get there is the chilaquiles however bcz im js a brunch girly and I Love a green chilaquiles that's not too sour and still a little bit crispy.. 10/10. The only thing is u might have to wait sometimes at night when it gets super busy bcz the staff is small. But they still come out pretty fast and they are rly a perfect spot to come for lunch. I know the owners are rly trying to get business up so they can maintain a good level of staff.. this place is honestly so unassuming in its Albany location, it's being slept on but it's rly a gem and I want to see it thrive so it can stay for years and years. Also the owner Hector will come out and personally greet u in his rly shy way because he is js the sweetest man on th planet. Pls support this local gem 🙏🏼

Probably one of the best salads I’ve had in my life 10 out of 10 and I don’t remember the last time I had a candlelight dinner. I enjoyed every moment.

Google
My favorite Sunday evening date spot! The food is delicious and fresh, the service is always friendly, and the restaurant is clean and relaxing.

We’ve been here four times now. Three dinners and a brunch. Food has consistently been plentiful and yummy. Standouts are their polenta and eggs for brunch, their special corned beef dinner on St. Patrick’s Day, their mussels (which I didn’t take a picture of but are well seasoned and good, not quite as delicious as their predecessor Cafe Rendezvous but close). The mango pavlova dessert (which I forgot to take a picture of) is also spectacular. This system is not letting me state that these pictures are from multiple meals.

Had brunch with my wife here because they just opened up in Albany. We shared the scone, I ordered the Chilaquiles and my wife ordered the breakfast sopes. Everything was delicious and food came out in good timing. The staff was also attentive and gave us space to eat and chat. Would come here again! We also ordered the Tri Tip Sandwich and the Chicken Gordita to-go. Also super tasty! Really though, try this place out yourself! Update: Feb 11, 2024 Went back for lunch with my wife to try different items on the brunch menu. Wife got the Mt.Tam Potatoes, I got the banana French toast (both served in a generous serving size). We couldn't help ourselves so we got a scone to share, a blueberry pancake and a banana pancake with fried chicken on the side. Everything came out timely and tasted amazing. Consistency is something we feel demonstrates whether a restaurant has their stuff down or not. Second time ordering the scone was not a disappointment. The service was also consistent, they were readily available but we didn't feel rushed. We will continue coming here!

Google
Had a wonderful dining experience here, and will definitely be back. Chilaquiles with green sauce are sometimes too sweet, but these were perfect. Lattes were delicious. Side of potatoes were perfectly done. Next time, I'm trying a salad - they have an interesting variety. Service was superb and friendly - co-owner Hector made us feel at home.

Yelp
My wife brought me here tonight to celebrate my birthday. We hadn't been here since it was still the Rendez-vous Cafe, so we were excited to try out this "new" establishment. The interior still looks very much like it did when it was still Rendez-vous. And it was virtually deserted when we arrived at 6:30pm for dinner on a Sunday. I went with the Fish & Chips, which was absolutely delicious. Consisting of 3 fresh pieces of fresh, soft, flaky cod, battered in a perfectly yellow and crispy beer batter. Served with a generous portion of deliciously fluffy, crispy fries. And coupled with condiments of vinegar, ketchup, and the best tasting tartar sauce I have ever had in my life. It was so good I found myself constantly dipping my fries into it as well. My wife went with one of their specials for today, which was pork chop served on a bed of mash potatoes and Brussel sprouts. As the designated trash can, I got to finish the remainder of my wife's plate and I definitely agree with her that Brezo's did an amazing job of it. The pork chop was thick, HUGE, and very tender and juicy. The mash potatoes were done well, and we loved how the Brussel sprouts were not burnt to a bitter crisp like many places do. Service was friendly and attentive. And the place started to fill up as it got later. We really enjoyed the food and our dining experience here tonight. And although still sad at Rendez-vous's closing, ecstatic to see it replaced by such a great establishment!

Yelp
It's at best a 3 star place. I drove around 45 minutes to try this and ordered Chilaquiles, Mt Tam Potatoes and some French toast. It was by far the most bland tasting chilaquiles I have ever had, it's not truly Mexican not truly American it's just bland. The potatoes were just ok and the French toast was too bready, IYKYK. The service was fine and the ambiance was ok.

Yelp
Been here 3 times so far, the food never fails. Thank you for the brunch service with my family today, and for a sweet treat that got me emotional today, thank you! And the singing was a beautiful surprise to me! The fresh scone with cream and fresh blueberry jam was the best I've ever had!
google avatar

Theresa S.

Yelp
The service was very attentive and friendly. The food was good. Here's what we liked. The chilaquiles were rich and savory. Huge portion with lots of sauce and crispy chips. The crab burger was very tasty but falling apart messy. Definitely a knife and fork dish. The blueberry pancake was not too sweet, but had fresh blueberries and blueberry butter! Only cons were the first pancake was a little overcooked and tasted kinda burnt. And the coffe was a bit weak. Otherwise we enjoyed our meal.

Yelp
I never knew this place was on Solano Ave. I drove past it twice trying to find it . We were seated as soon as we walked in. Noticed that only 2 servers were working the dining area and the bar. They were pretty packed for lunch. We ordered the French toast and omelette. The omelette was fluffy and stuffed with delicious cheese and meat. The French toast was well seasoned and just the right about of sweet. The Kid had the hot chocolate. She drank it before I could even get a photo- so I'm assuming it was delicious as well. We will have to come back and try their dinner menu

Yelp
meet friends for lunch. It was a quiet dsy so we were able to sit around and talk . They offered a Rueben sandwich or crab cake burger size on a brioche bun for lunch specials. i was really excited to have the crab cake special. I ordered it with the salad and upgraded it to the signature beet salad for $3. no fries. We all had the crab cakes , I had no bun and added tartar sauce instead of aoili . it was delish ! A real Plus is the large parking lot behind the restaurant with an entrance into the restaurant from there. I am handicapped so i was really happy to see that!
google avatar

Mari C.

Yelp
Brezza is breakfast perfection! The chilaquiles are crispy, flavorful, and loaded with goodness, while the banana pancakes are fluffy and just the right amount of sweet. Cozy vibes and great service--highly recommend!

Yelp
This is a yummy spot! I tried their American breakfast so it was honestly a basic eggs, bread and potatoes lol. I really liked that they were a clean establishment, did not rush my friend and I. The hostess made me laugh because she said I reminded her of a Disney actress. That can certainly offend some people, but I think it made for a fun little chit-chat as we were closing our tab. Parking was not the greatest as it street parking and the establishment is on a primary street, but you won't be circling around too much. I hope to come back and try some other sweet breakfast options.

Yelp
Wonderful restaurant with great dishes with generous portions. My friend and I shared the pesto pasta with chicken and the fish. The pesto was not the creamy kind. The fish was served on top of cous cous. Everything was well prepared. So good I forgot to take a picture. I did manage to get a picture of the mango tres leches (so so good). I learned they are going to be featured on Check Please soon!

Yelp
We saw the restaurant on "Check, Please! Bay Area" (season 20, episode 8) and had to try it! The ambiance is perfect for all occasions! Great quality food made with love and Excellent Service! Owners, Heather and Hector are wonderful and they genuinely care about their customers! We will definitely go back and try more dishes!

Yelp
I went for Sunday brunch with friends after hearing great recommendations about Brezo. It was quite busy and for reasons not entirely clear to me, we waited well over an hour for our food. I think they must have somehow misplaced our order because other groups seated after us received their food before we did. It's always possible to make a mistake, but it was annoying that we had to point out to the servers that our food had not arrived and even more so that there was no apology or explanation, let alone attempt at making it up to us. Eventually our food arrived, and it was fine, but definitely not worth the wait.

Yelp
Brezo creates warm restaurant with great local and seasonal ingredients. One of the best dessert menus in the Bay Area. Excellent service with owners who take the time to check on each table, makes eating at Brezo more like eating with family and friends.

Yelp
Walked in for lunch, got rude service from a staff member so I left. Didn't really feel welcomed.

Yelp
The food was delicious, we had the Mt Tam potatoes and French toast . The service was great, friendly and attentive servers. The ambiance was nice and laid back.

Yelp
The food was absolutely delicious. Got the chilaquiles and the home fries and both were so so good. The service was great, got my food sooner than anticipated which was great considering I arrived to pick up my order earlier than I should've. The inside is also so cute and the staff were all very friendly.

Yelp
Not bad but just really expensive food and not worth the price I feel like. It was $100 for dinner for Two. Service was fast and everything was quick. Ambiance was fine. Just was totally empty... we were the only people in the place. Salad was really good. Pot roast was decent. I don't think I would go back. It was fine.. I just think I would spend my money elsewhere if I'm dropping that much on a dinner.

Yelp
Brezo is a welcome addition to the lower Solano neighborhood. They have a brunch menu that is only available on weekends, but their lunch menu also includes some brunch-like menu items. For a weekday lunch, I ordered the steak and eggs salad which was quite delicious, and the serving was quite large. When I went for lunch on a Thursday afternoon, it was relatively quiet and easy to get a table.

Yelp
My family and I here for lunch. It was fantastic. The tri tip sandwich was amazing. Very well seasoned beef. Soft and warm ciabatta. The basil aioli was perfect! The blueberry pancakes are a MUST try as well. Fresh tasting blueberries. Fluffy pancake and the blueberry butter tasted great. All around a fantastic place to eat. Will definitely be going back!

Yelp
Food was well seasoned and fresh. The business is clean and inviting. The staff kind and attentive. Albany is lucky to have snagged this gem from Point Richard .

Yelp
Lousy food. Understaffed. Slow service. Only ONE waitperson for entire restaurant! Loved it b4, when it was rendezvous Cafe.

Lael ..

Yelp
The service here was great and the environment was really enjoyable . I am just really sad writing the rest of this review. I saw the restaurant on Check Please Bay Area / yelp reviews and was so excited. I must have come on a bad night for dinner since they just changed the menu or maybe I ordered the wrong thing . I got the burger and fries. The bacon and bun were burnt so I only ended up eating half. The fries were delicious but for $24 for half a burger I left wanting to pick up Al's on the way home . I sincerely hope this was just a fluke . I will try to go again during brunch. Bummer.

Yelp
My family and I stumbled upon Brezo a while back on a Saturday morning. We were happy to find 2 sections of outside seating and fairly easy parking on the street. We were seated outside swiftly after staff put tables together for us. There were some flies around doggie water bowls in the corner which they said they would clean up but may have forgotten as the morning got busy fast. Our experience started off so wonderful but went down hill right after seating was completed. As we settled in and reviewed the menu, a different staff member came to take our drink orders. We ordered two lattes and some other various drinks. The drinks took forever. One of the lattes was a steamed cup of milk that they forgot to put the espresso in ... In the meantime, some other folks were seated near us. They had a different staff member helping them - they got their drinks, placed their food orders and received their food all while we were still waiting to get our food order in. We watched their server tend to them and had to let her know about our espresso less latte. A short time later, our server came out and poured espresso into the no longer hot cup of milk as it sat in front of my sister. She then rushed off while we begged to place our order. Eventually the server came back and we ordered our food. The lattes were cold and weird at this point. I asked her how long the food would be now that we were finally placing our order and she said they were busy and there were several orders ahead of us... which was a bummer because they were NOT busy when we arrived but some how got back burnered when others began to arrive. The server told me they were out of cheesy polenta. I ordered other things instead. A while later she kindly came to report that it turned out they had one left, I was happy to hear it and said I'd take it. When the food came, no cheesy polenta was anywhere to be found. The server didn't check on us so I couldn't inquire. AFTER we finished our meals, the server came out with the cheesy polenta. I told her that we were done eating and ready to go (we had now been there for over two hours because of the delay in getting to place and receive our orders). She frowned and insisted that I take it to go but that didn't make much sense to me so I declined. The food was ok. Ultimately, we had to go inside to hunt down the check because it never came. My sister spoke to the manager and explained what happened with the latte and why she didn't drink it. The manager said latte would be taken off of the bill - it wasn't. I had to actually send the bill back to have the latte removed and have them correct the over charge on one item because it didn't match the menu price. Finally the bill was corrected, we paid and got the check back for signature but of course, it was dropped off and the server ran off again. She failed to return my credit card and my sister had to go back inside to find it. It was eventually located, it had been left in the machine. We gathered our belongings and were leaving (SO much later than we wanted to leave), and the server ran out demanding my credit card again and saying that the transaction got cancelled when she removed the credit card. Apparently even though she had my card all that time, had merchant and customer receipt copies that showed the transaction which I signed for, she now wanted my card back again.... When I inquired about how necessary this was, if she was sure and how much longer it would take as we were late for an event - she retorted something off putting and stormed off. We stood by confused for a moment; she didn't come back so we eventually left. I really wanted to like Brezo but I'm afraid after this experience that I am very unlikely to return.

Yelp
Lori, Terry and I met here for lunch today. It was Lori's choice. The special of the day was a crab cake sandwich and we were all seduced by it. Lori and I had it w/o bread. It came w/ a choice of soup, salad or fries. Terry gave us tastes of her fries, which were crisp and delicious. Lori and and I had salad. We both took the salad home. The leftovers may be my dinner if I ever get hungry. It was great to see them both and what we had a lovely visit. The next choice is Terry's and she's pretty sure she knows what her choice will be.

Yelp
I had quite happily tried the original location in Port Richmond and was saddened when it closed. My spirits were buoyed when I saw Brezo reopen in the former Rendez-vous Cafe which itself also sadly closed. Man, It's hard to keep track of the changing food scene around these parts, but I reassured Jamie W. that Brezo made solid New American fare, and I was right. We decided to split three items that tickled our palates. First up was the $18 Brezo Burger, a juicy, medium rare Niman Ranch patty on a soft challah bun and topped with cheddar, grilled red onions, bacon, pickled jalapeños, tomato, lettuce, and chipotle aioli. It came with an $8 side of crispy Truffle Fries nicely seasoned with truffle oil and Parmesan cheese (photo: https://yelp.to/X3Puk7VxTR). Quite satisfying but wait, there was our third dish, the $15 Calico Salad, a full platter of romaine, jack, tomato, red onion, avocado, tortilla strips, and black beans drizzled with chile-lime dressing (photo: https://yelp.to/Mmm7Btvspz). It was a refreshing contrast with the burger and went particularly well with the complimentary grilled baguette slices with butter (photo: https://yelp.to/qaXq2qYKoY). Brezo is back! FOOD - 4 stars...the burger, fries, and salad combo worked just fine here AMBIANCE - 4 stars...still looks like Rendez-vous but it works SERVICE - 3.5 stars...efficient TOTAL - 4 stars...Brezo made the move from Port Richmond to Albany just fine RELATED - Exploring Albany? Here's a collection of places I've visited and reviewed: https://bit.ly/3ebRKbk

Yelp
Service was lovely. Fries were awesome. Cute spot on Solano ave. Perhaps we ordered wrong. Fish in fish and chips was great. Breading too thick. Fried chicken sandwich only ok. Hamburger solid. Would return if in area. May try other spots on Solano first.

Yelp
Great local spot to come to high to start your day in the morning. I ordered the avocado toast which was fuckin heavenly..the eggs perfectly cooked oozing with goodness, i shoulda got 2 of them thangs. French toast was thicc and juicy and was satisfying my mouth those fat slices were a real treat. I enjoyed the veggie Gordita as well, French fries were also bangers with the crisscut-fry texture i dig it, cheers

Donna H.

Yelp
Food is good. The service is great! The pricing is reasonable. We came in for lunch and plan to try dinner. At lunch, some of the breakfast items such as french toast are served.

Yelp
Brezo exemplifies a solid neighborhood restaurant that feels right for a weeknight when cooking is an uphill battle. It's not somewhere I'd travel to from a distance as the execution is a little pedestrian, but I was still content amidst the charming low key atmosphere. The kale and quinoa salad left something to be desired with a strong mix of ingredients that didn't quite cohere intoa special dish. The Parmesan was a little too out-of-the-box and the dressing didn't quite deliver. Additionally, the service was friendly but lackadaisical with an extended wait for water, for bread, for our orders to be taken and for the bill. All told, a pleasant dining experience but not a home run.

Yelp
Moved.... Kicked out?? from Assemble in pt Richmond a while ago. Heather and Hector revive the ol favs in this prime spot on Solano Ave, in Albany. While we gain a Pickelball club at Assemble, we are also able to continue to enjoy the great menu, not too far from the cribbage! Apparently Heather earned her chops here when it was Rendezvous Cafe, a a long standing iconic location. Well if you loved em when downtown Point Richmond... then post Covid moved into Assemble, on the water front steps from the Bay Ferry terminal and next to Rosie The Riveter National museum, then you will love this location as they have brought back the classsics for lunch and dinner. The only place I will forgo the diet as their blue berry pancakes are to DIE for, we had to drop in and support our local peeps in the new digs. I've never been here before so not sure what's different but who cares as long as the food is as we remember. And yes sir it is! Some staff also from the other local are in da house as well. Totally warm and intimate inside and a few tables outside on iconic Solano ave! Friendly for couples, families alike! Warm convivial and absolutely packed on an overcast Saturday late morning- early afternoon between atmospheric rivers! It's a bummer cause I will have to ride my bike a bit further to imbibe, which probably is a good thing for my waistline: used to be able to get there in 2 minutes now more like 15 but either way, they provide an excellent breakfast and dinner menu. I don't think they needed to even invest in menus and of course we know it by heart. These two know how to throw down in the cozinha! Such an iconic selection with massive portions! Hopefully now more folks who don't venture to the Point will soon learn this IS the spot to chill and chow down. Based on how packed it was... the words out! Congratulations guys! We appreciate your dedication to the diners who love you and are happy to continue to enjoy and delight in the Marina bay Albany area! I'll be back for my Brezo Tee which I plan to proudly wear claiming we knew y'all "from back in the day!" Let me know Heather when I can pick it up! May have to also get those Chiliques for the trouble!

Yelp
Cheerful, friendly, family-friendly neighborhood eatery, recently moved from Richmond's Craneway Pavilion. Serves Brunch weekends. Full lunch menu of salads/sammies till 2:30p, with short afternoon break, then dinner till 8:30p. Note weekday lunch menu has some limited breakfast options, as well. Parking moderately difficult; easier on side streets. Service is good. Food is good, with more protein-heavy emphasis (i.e., American style) than Lulu's across the street. Salads are large so shareable if desired. Spouse gives tri-tip sandwich 4.5 stars, saying it's one of the best versions he's gotten from any restaurant in years.

Keith S.

Yelp
Traditional food choices here. We stopped for a late lunch (few people there at the time). I ordered a Cuban sandwich. Maybe this was a California style since it looked a little different than I expected but even so it tasted very good. My sister ordered one of the specials and she liked it too. Friendly staff and good service. I think they close for an hour or so between lunch and dinner. It was nice!

Yelp
I recently discovered Brezo, and instantly fell in love with it when I had my first dinner there. The food is fantastic and the husband and wife chef team very talented in what they do. The chefs' passion can be seen and tasted in the high quality cuisine offered at Brezo. I have had the pleasure of witnessing that passion in the variety of delicious flavors I have experienced so far from the meals I have had at Brezo. I strongly recommend you visit this gem of a restaurant. Cheers to great food, ambiance, and service!

Yelp
We went there for dinner and the food was delicious - fried chicken and a huge grilled pork chop with super fresh veggies and creamy mashed potatoes - well seasoned and hot off the grill. The service was absolutely great. We would not hesitate to go there again, and recommend it to family and friends. If I could give more stars I would.

Yelp
Varied cafe style menu. Food was well prepared. Street parking can be a problem. Service was good.

Yelp
Very happy to have this restaurant in our neighborhood! We probably go there about once a week. They have a nice kid-menu so it's great for families. My go to is the nicoise salad, which they started offering this summer. I really hope they keep it on the menu for good. Their fries are also really crispy and delicious. Service is friendly and fast. Welcome to the hood!

Yelp
Hella good! Service was delightful. Great place for families, friends catching up and they have sangria. Outside parklet and mimosas. But the food was outstanding, I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
This review is of their Valentine's Menu Memories 2023 fixe prix menu featuring vegetarian, meat and fish courses with an optional wine pairing. We arrived at 5:15p for our 5:30p reservation and had our choice of tables. After ordering the oysters on the half shell, we made our choices for each course plus the optional wine pairing. Shortly after we ordered, the dining room quickly fill up. The "sommelier" presented us with the wine (showed us the bottle) for our first course. However, we had ordered two different items and should have been given different pours that were paired for our selections. Unfortunately, we did not catch the error and as a result, we thought the chardonnay was okay on its own but did not pair well with the first courses. It was when our food server brought two glasses of wine for our main course ("this is your cabernet and chardonnay for your entree") we realised the wine pairing error. She offered to make it up by pouring us more wine, but we declined as the pours were pretty generous. About 15 minutes later that our server came by to apologise for the food being slow to come out of the kitchen. Not a problem, but by the time the food came out, we had almost finished our glasses of wine. Maybe we should have taken her up on that second pour, lol. That said, the mahi mahi was well prepared, the greens were nicely dressed. Hubby said the lamb shank was tasty and well cooked but felt polenta was too solid like it had been in the bowl too long, waiting for the lamb. The desserts were very pretty and delicious, but the portions could have been smaller. I had 5-6 bites out of my dessert. For the chocolate trio, each one was easily 4 bites, making 12 bites of chocolate overload. To sum up our evening ... if you are offering a special event dinner with a wine pairing, ensure that the pourer is familiar with the menu and to know what goes with what. The serving staff was quite friendly, pleasant and did their best to please. Our server came by three times asking if we were ready for our check (we said yes all three times), making dinner a leisurely 2+ hour affair.

Yelp
Replacing Rendez-Vous Cafe, Brezo is a welcome brunch place and on a lazy Saturday in the area, it had following already. I opted for one of their salads but the fries looked amazing. It was a well crafted and well priced salad with chickpeas, avocado, sprouts roasted beets sunflowers seeds and almond (I got without as inhave a nut allergy) in a light yet flavor vingarette on mixed greens. Compare to other salad places that are overpriced, I enjoyed it will chatting with friends. One disclaimer, since the kitchen is small, food might take a little longer to make but worth the wait. Will have to go back for those fries and breakfast.

Yelp
My bf and I visited The Infinite around the corner and came to Assembly Marketplace afterwards for lunch. Is read somewhere that the Marketplace was comparable to the Ferry Building but it's much smaller than that. When we arrived, not everywhere was open for lunch so we decided to grab a table and get Brezo. They have a decent sized menu, standard American fare. We both decided on the burger and drinks (mocha & beer). We arrived at the start of the lunch rush and it took about ten minutes for our food to come out. The food was good, although I might say a little overpriced for what it is. The burger is $18 plus $2 to sub fries. There are a good amount of tables inside and outside. Even though it was packed, the volume wasn't too loud to have conversation. I don't know that I'd return because of the price point but it was a solid meal.

Yelp
Went to Sunday brunch with 5 ladies and we had a lovely time. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The restaurant was buzzing and it was fun! I could eat their creamy polenta for breakfast every day! Can't wait to try the lunch menu.

Yelp
Good neighborhood spot. Diner fare with a Mexican flair. Service can be spotty depending on how busy they are. Good value. Eg pancakes are gigantic. Kids should share. Burger is good. A good ol'neighborhood joint.

Love this place! My literal all time favorite salad from anywhere is the quinoa kale salad at Brezo. The combination of flavors is on point and if you get a large it is easily two meals. Also in love with the flan! The menu changes seasonally, so it's fun to keep trying new things. Never disappoints.

Yelp
Mixed bag - the polenta and toppings is great- sopas plate not S successful. Avocado toast is reliable/good. Service is lovely . This is our second try - truly a mixed experience.

Yelp
Friendly staff and the most delicious kale & quinoa salad! I work nearby and love supporting other small businesses.

Yelp
I originally discovered Brezo in Point Richmond when I opened my practice in 2018. I followed them to the Craneway and when they left, I thought I'd never get to enjoy my favorite salad (kale and quinoa) again. But lo and behold, I was driving down Solano Avenue and caught a glimpse of their name in the same font as in Point Richmond. I met friends for brunch and we shared the kale and quinoa salad, the blueberry pancakes, and the chilaquiles. All three were delicious. We sat outside on the picnic tables and we were not forgotten by the staff (which happens in the post-COVID era). Service was friendly and timely. I went for dinner another evening and enjoyed the mahi mahi. A little too much cilantro for me in the salsa topping, but refreshing and light even with the tasty mashed potatoes. I subtracted one star because it can get pretty loud inside. Otherwise, I'm all in for the food and service.

Yelp
Everything tasted amazing! If you love good food made with fresh, quality ingredients, and terrific flavor combinations, this is the place to go. We started with the very tasty calamari with an amazing basil dipping sauce. I had to get the Mahi Mahi again this trip because it was so good the first time I ordered it. And, don't forget to order dessert, everything we tried was so fresh, perfectly baked and beautifully presented. I can't wait to go back!
