What is better than Mexican food and brunch?? How about BOTH while sitting on a beautiful and spacious patio? At the Briarcliffe Barrio location, you can enjoy an array of mouthwatering Mexican breakfast meals along with adult beverages and bottomless mimosas. You MUST try the Steak Ranchero Skillet and the Breakfast Quesadilla. We order the ceviche to start our meal every time we visit a Barrio location. If you haven't been to one of the three Barrio locations, make sure to stop by one soon!

Our family frequently come to Barrio for Dinner typically on Fridays and Saturdays! The Hostess Emory is always friendly and we never wait long to be seated. Our waitresses Hannah and Alyssa are always on top of everything! Refills, Chips, Salsa, etc. We are always taken care of. Their manager Shelia always checks on us and asks how are dinner is! Great location, Great atmosphere, Wonderful Service, and tasty food make this one of my favorite places to dine in KC! Keep up the good work! ♥️😊

From the moment we sat down, they set the vibe—super chill, fun, and genuinely welcoming. You could tell they really love what they do. The drinks were on point, crafted with care, and they even made great recommendations based on what we liked. What stood out the most was how effortlessly they kept the energy up while still making it feel relaxed and easygoing. If you're looking for a bartender who brings good vibes AND great drinks…. This is your person !! :)))

*Update* Came back for a FOURTH time! Brought more friends!! Our waitress was Diamond and she was an absolute delight! Such a beautiful smile and sweet. She kept our drinks full and was very helpful when it came to ordering. Our friends loved the the place and were very impressed with the quality of food. Great job again . Yall rock!! Just went back a 3rd time! Brought some friends this time! They loved it too! You guys are awesome!! My favorite spot for barria tacos!!! Gracie was our waitress and she was awesome as well! Second time visiting here and once again, we LOVED IT! This time we came for my daughter’s birthday. We came on Halloween and our waiter was dressed up as Jim Halpert from the Office (my favorite show!!!!) His real name was Oliver though. He kept our drinks full and our table clean. You could tell they were short staffed because he was running non stop. But he had a smile on his face the whole time! A great employee. The food was hot and delicious! 🤤 We had loaded queso, Barria tacos, beef nachos, and the Burrito Leacha Leibrae*. All of them were so delicious. The chef did a great job. We can’t wait to come back! Only 4 star on service because hostess does not know what she is doing. She is very young and inexperienced. Was told an hour wait for a table. Place was not even half full. I was thinking they may not have had enough servers. We put our name on the list. 15 minutes later we had a table. While we waited we watched 6 parties walk in/out after being told it was an hour+ wait. Not good for the business. Other than that, place is great!

The service was wonderful and the food was great. This location has large window walls that were open during our visit. While that might be nice during certain times of the year, today it really affected our experience—it was extremely hot, and there were gnats/ stuff flying around.

WOW! WOW! WOW! My husband and I went here for the first time and both of us were so impressed. Elaine was our server and she is amazing! The food and atmosphere was great as well. I saw a few reviews that made comments regarding it being pricey which we feel is way off. The prices are spot on. We will definitely be back!

Great place for dinner or date. Customer service was excellent, nice friendly people that move very quickly. We didn’t have to wait to long, drinks were served right away. Ordered dish of the day - burrito, good flavor. Also fried empanadas with corn. I’m not a huge fan of fried empanadas, but got to say these were pretty tasty. Personally the best part for me was that side of corn - it was excellent grilled and flavored. Overall- we definitely coming back.
