The Conservatory

"Titchwell Manor’s formal dining room is a bright, airy space looking out over the walled gardens. Cooking champions local ingredients with seafood from Brancaster Staithe and meat and game from local estates. Unfussy modern classics focus on natural flavours, using a less-is-more approach." - Michelin Inspector

The hotel is in a beautiful position, virtually on the north Norfolk coast. It is very comfortably furnished, and our room was ideal for our needs. The fact that the car was parked directly outside the door to our room was extremely convenient, as it was pouring with rain when we arrived and were unloading the car. We spent a very pleasant and enjoyable time on Saturday afternoon sitting in the lounge area, with a wonderful roaring log fire and a well-stocked bar. In the evening we had a delicious meal in the restaurant, which we both enjoyed, although there was quite an unusual menu to choose from, and we had to ask what several of the dishes consisted of. When we retired for the night we found the bed to be perfectly comfortable, and the duvet was exactly the right weight, whch led to an excellent night's sleep. All in all we had a delightful stay, and we will certainly be returning. We hope next time to be able to enjoy the local area as well as the hotel itself. The weather did not permit on this visit.

My family had a wonderful stay. The room we stayed in within the Courtyard was really spacious and included an extra room for our daughter to sleep in. There were lots of lovely well thought out extra touches, like the good quality hair and body wash and body and hand cream. Our bathroom had two towel radiators, which ensured wet towels had a place to go. There was a lovely size bath and shower.|The main bed was large and very comfortable. ||We stayed for dinner and breakfast, both of which were delicious, with plenty of food and lots of options.||The restaurant and bar area has a lovely cosy atmosphere and the staff were excellent, very attentive and friendly.||The other bonus is the amazing children's play area, which my daughter enjoyed very much, particularly the zip wire!||Thank you very much, we will definitely be returning.

Visited Briarfields Hotel for our Christmas party and had a wonderful time! The room was spotless and very comfortable, with a lovely walk-in rainfall shower that was a real treat. The food was excellent, really well prepared and presented. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay, which made the whole experience even better. Would definitely recommend Briarfields Hotel and looking forward to visiting again!

Reception was poor. Girl at desk seemed unable to move her mouth to speak. Found room. No directions. Room ok but there were signs that it had not been valeted very well. No handrails in shower. At eighty plus can’t get in and out of a bath so have to use a shower. Slippery shower tray. |Dinner. Very poor menu. If you are vegetarian or vegan you have just one choice. PASTA. That means lots of carbs and very little else. Menu was not interesting and poor. Was stay here four nights. The menu didn’t change apart from the ‘special’ but that had nothing special for dietary purposes. Vegetables were charged as an extra.|Food was poorly presented and in some cases it looked as if it has been kept in a heated chamber until wanted. Breakfast was something else. No buffet . Fruit served up on a plate - segment of kiwi with skin on, section of orange with skin on, tinned pineapple and some sad looking grapes. Cooked breakfast was poor. EGGS florentine was just one egg - not EGGS as written on the menu piled onto a very dry crumpet. Poached eggs served on half of a very dry crumpet. Why no buffet. Coffee stewed.|All in all very disappointing. Thank goodness there were no children running around - that was the best bit.

We stayed in room 19 which was outstanding. Very spacious, spotless, good value for money. The other facilities were amazing, relaxing, peaceful and just a great place to stay. We had an evening meal and the beef & ale pie, absolutely delicious. Breakfast was perfect; hot croissant, then eggs Benedict and toast. We couldn’t fault it. All in all a perfect place to stay, close to fabulous walks, beaches. The staff were very courteous and professional. We would highly recommend it.

Excellent family friendly coastal hotel. We couldnt have asked for more, the rooms were spacious and all set up for our toddler and 5 year old for our arrival, beautifully decorated and facing a lovely little courtyard. The food was also delicious from our evening meal (the miso cod!) and the kids ate for free as well. The breakfast was fantastic, yummy fruit platters and we will be talking about the harissa eggs for a while! The hotel also boasts an amazing kids play park with zip lines with a great terrace. The staff were so nice and made us feel super welcome with two young children. Lots of games and colouring. Such a lovely hotel and we can’t wait to come back. Thank you to Paul and the team.

Lovely Stay in a Great Location We recently stayed at Briarfields Hotel in Titchwell and were very impressed overall. The location is fantastic — perfectly placed for exploring the local area and enjoying the beautiful Norfolk coastline. Our room was spacious, well furnished, and spotlessly clean, making it a very comfortable base. For the quality and space provided, we felt it was excellent value for money. The food was good and nicely presented, though not quite outstanding — more solid than spectacular. That said, we certainly enjoyed our meals here. The hotel is run by a hardworking young team, and it’s clear they put a lot of effort into looking after guests. A few of the staff could perhaps be a little more cheerful — I wasn’t sure if it was tiredness or that they weren’t enjoying their work — but overall, service was friendly and helpful. In short, a great place to stay in a prime location, offering good value, comfortable rooms, and a generally warm welcome.

I would recommend. I stayed here for one night with my husbamd and 4 year old. We had a spacious, clean and modern looking room with nice toiletries, a selection of hot drink choices and biscuits. We had an evening meal and breakfast, both were delicious. The staff were also really friendly and professional.
