*CASH ONLY* Fantastic vegetarian brunch place with a huge variety of dishes that are not only very tasty, but well thought of in terms of pairing flavors. Unlike many “vegetarian” places that serve bland salad like food or raw vegetables, Turnhalle has excelled in creating yummy dishes, both in terms of savory and sweet options. The decor is quite nice as well. I especially liked the half runny egg on a bagel with caramelized onions, the lentil salad with beetroot and cherry, and of course the sweet and sour crumble pie. Don’t skip on the preserves: it’s the tiny side items that have such wondrous flavors and textures that tell you they really thought about their menu well. 0.5 star more for the extra effort put in to the menu, and 0.5 star less for being cash only.

Came by for brunch on Sunday, 2 couples. Lovely laid back atmosphere, not too crowded, excellent vegan/vegetarian options and yummy desserts too. The Cafe itself has a nice vibe too. Loved it.

Had brunch at the Turnhalle today. First of all: the food was delicious. Vegetarian plates including various ingredients with a slight oriental touch. Unfortunately the location was not very cosy due to the low temperatures inside. Although it was a sunny winter day in Vienna (meaning it had above 0 degrees on the outside) I could not really enjoy the brunch and didn't even think about staying a bit longer to talk. Even the food and coffee had to suffer and got cold way to quick. The warm dishes including eggs and potatoes were already cold as we grabbed some. The location has its own kind of flair and I really liked it, but the furnishing could need an upgrade. All in all, great idea and great food - but I would prefer to enjoy it still hot and in an more inviting and cosy environment.

Love this place. It's in a really great building that used to be a factory. The space itself gives off a wonderful vibe and the folks who run Brick 15 do a great job of building a friendly, inviting environment. Their Sunday brunch is really good. Great selection of cheeses, fun muffins, frittatas, salads, and desserts. They also have cultural events in a lovely space upstairs.

Sadly the worst experience I ever had ! We came inside of the place and nobody noticed us , we had to run after the “ manager “ to tell him we had a reservation because it was crowded, our table was ready and free but he just first wanted to wait outside ( cold and rainy ) and then I had to asked to stay inside and I show him my table. His answer was “ ah sorry I forgot you completely , take a sit” after 15 minutes waiting nobody came and the buffet was completely empty and not worth it for the price. It’s a pitty because the place is really nice!
